A little while later Rory comes out of her room and is standing at th bottle of the staircase and can hear Lorelai crying so she run's up as fast as she can into Lorelai's room and see's her crying on the bed.
''Oh Mom.'' Rory sit's next to her and pull's her into her and just hold's her tight and comfort's her.
''Grandpa lived a good long life.'' Rorytells her
Lorelai just nod's and hold's Rory tighter.
''do you want me or need me to call Luke?'' Rory asks her
Lorelai shakes her head''No.'' she says then changes her mind ''Yes Please.'' she says
''okay.' Rory says and get's on the phone with Luke.
At Luke's the phone ring's and he answer's it.
''Luke's.'' he says and it's loud and noisy.
''hey Luke it's Rory.'' she tells him
''oh hey Rory what's going on?'' he asks her
''not much grandpa died and mom is a mess and she really needs you.'' she tells him
''ok ok I''ll be right there.'' he tells her and hang's up and leave's the diner and run's over to Lorelai's.
