Dear Readers,
As soon as I reread my finished oneshot "Remembering Randolf Powell," I realized how much the ending seems to emphasize the "relief" that comes with suicide. That is appalling to me; I never meant to write it like that. I never want to encourage suicide in my work, and this note is just to make sure you all know that. I have seen how suicide affects people, and I can tell you all now that suicide is one of the single most selfish things a person can do. It is devastating to everyone they know; most people never get over the suicide of a loved one. I am very sorry for the implications I have unwillingly included in my work, and I hope no one out there will take them to heart. For me, please don't.
