In honor of everyone whose mother is not with them any longer on this Mother's Day, I give you this little one-shot story I wrote to distance myself from the grief I still feel.

Mr. Darcy seems to have it all but he is at his wit's end with his sister. His friends believe he needs a wide-hipped, firm-bosomed woman to help guide his sister. Darcy would rather shepherd a flock of sheep to the market than attend a ball. When he meets the unassuming Elizabeth Bennet at the market, will he change his mind?
