The crew of Serenity are struggling to find their way after Miranda; bringing on, letting go, cherishing what was, embracing what is, and inviting the new.

Fifth in the series. While Serenity is under repair on Kaylee's homeworld, introductions are made, secrets are revealed, friendships are formed ... and Jayne becomes a lawman, sort of.

Hopefully the exchange enriches them both, probably more Simon than Zoe. It was meant to be short but it turns out they had quite a bit to say to each other. Mal/Simon, but blink and you'll miss it.

Oneshot: The Unificators had been created after the Unification War, supposedly as an independent body to track down war criminals. Still, Kalista knew the Alliance's true agenda. And she doubted that the results would do anything to unite the 'Verse.

AU 1940. Serenity is a quaint little village practically untouched by the war. At least, it was until the arrival of the Jewish German siblings, the Tams, who throw the village into disarray. As the war progresses, how will they fare? A ww2 story pulling inspiration from the Kindertransport and books like Goodnight Mr Tom and Hitler's canary. Mentions of child abuse and persecution

After wrapping up a job, Jayne, Mal, and Zoe return to "Serenity" to learn that River has slipped off into the woods. With a storm brewing, the crew races to find her, but she and Jayne are washed away by a flash flood. Set after "Trash" and before "Objects in Space." **Rated T for language.**

Simon just took a beating at the hands of Stitch Hessian, and Kaylee's patching him up. Takes place at the end of "Jaynestown." One-Shot.

Simon decides to go to their parents first with River. A horrified Gabriel and Regan make decisions unlike themselves and find themselves on the run with their kids. A united Tam family end up running into a ragtag family of outlaws, and the Alliance might as well have signed their own death warrants. Honestly? Malcolm Reynolds just thought he was getting good pay, not more crew.
