A/N: Hey all you Doctor Who fans out there! I just wanted to write the part where Rose is left on "Bad Wolf Bay" in Norway with the Duplicate Doctor… What she was thinking… It's still rough and I need you guys to tell me what you think so I can edit parts. Or if it's okay the way it is you can tell me that too ;) So, I hope this is at least okay =) Enjoy!

"When I last stood on this beach," I said, hesitantly, "on the worst day of my life, what was the last thing you said to me?"

The Doctor didn't reply.

"Go on," I urged him, "say it!"

He swallowed, "I said 'Rose Tyler.'"

"Yeah," I felt my voice catch in my throat, "and how was that sentence going to end?"

He paused. Finally, he said, "It doesn't need saying."

I could tell he was sad. This made me sad. But I needed to know.

I turned to the duplicate doctor for answers, "And you, Doctor? What was the end of that sentence?"

He took my arm and leaned down to whisper in my ear, "I love you."

He pulled back.

It took a minute for me to process but then I had to do something. I took the human Doctor by the blazer and pulled him down, sealing it with a kiss.

Seconds passed and I heard the TARDIS door close. I pulled away and took several steps toward the blue police box with a jog. It was too late, I realised. I watched as it slowly left and I was abandoned with my broken heart.

Someone took my hand. I looked up at the person… the duplicate doctor. The one that would grow old with me and stay with me until the end of our lives.

But it wasn't the same. It never would be. Sure he looked like the real doctor, had the same intelligence and even the same memories but it would never be the same.

"He's gone." I whispered, a tear escaping my left eye and trickling down my cheek, landing lightly on the sand of the beach where I had been left by the Doctor for the second time…
