WOW I suck at timely updates. Good News though! Story's done, you get the rest of it, (SIX CHAPTERS), all RIGHT NOW.

Disclaimer: The supernatural universe; brothers, angel, and impala included, are not mine. Charlie's mine! As are a few others you might not recognize, but for the most part, I thank Erik Kripke and the Supernatural people for their wonderful creation.

"Okay. So." Dylan sat criss cross on her hotel bed, hands clasped tightly in her lap. Dean and Sam stood across from her…arms crossed. She swallowed. "The truth…." She winced. "I'm going to be honest with you, I can't tell you all of it."

"You don't have to tell them anything." Cas appeared in a flurry of wind, eyebrows furrowed darkly. How he knew when she planned on spilling her guts and felt like he had to intervene...that was the real question. But Dylan didn't get a chance to ask it, because Dean stood angrily and glared down his best friend.

"Doesn't she?" Dean snapped. "We've been working with her for a month, and she's been lying to us." Dylan shrugged in agreement.

"This is true." Sam, angry as well, had to swallow a smile at her honesty.

"Not lying." Cas argued. He crossed his arms. "Her story is a complicated one, and I trust her," He began, but Dean cut him off.

"So that should just be enough for us?" Dean's eyes narrowed. "We just take you at your word then?"

"Dean," Sam warned, knowing where this was going, but Dean wasn't listening anymore.

"Yes." Cas spoke with finality. "You should trust me."

Deans eyes darkened. "Oh really? One word Cas," Dean took a deep breath, Sam closed his eyes, and Dylan's eyes widened. He wouldn't... "Purgatory!"

Sam face palmed.

Cas went silent and his face went stony. He reached for Dylan and pulled her up from the bed. "We would not want you to be forced in the company of those you don't trust." He spoke stiffly. "We'll take our leave."

Dean closed his eyes. "Cas…that's not what-" He tried.

"Cas, Dean's an idiot, of COURSE we trust you-" Sam also tried, but Cas was having none of it.

"Come on Dylan, we'll leave them-" He pushed her towards the door. She rolled her eyes and tried to speak, but everyone spoke over her.

"I didn't actually mean that the way it sounded," Dean threw his hands up.

"It's not that we don't trust Dylan either," Sam added.

"We won't bother you again," Cas rolled his eyes to the ceiling and refused to look at anyone. Dylan tried again to say something, but they continued to blabber over everyone, so finally she just planted her feet and yelled as loudly as she could-

"I'm an alien!"

Everyone froze.

Dylan sighed heavily and pushed Cas into a chair with a look.

"You guys are SUCH drama queens." She rolled her eyes. She looked at Dean first. "I didn't say I wasn't going to tell you ANYTHING, I just warned you I couldn't say EVERYTHING." She turned to Cas. "Dean's a jerk, and he holds petty resentments that he really should let go of, but you don't have to be SO dramatic about it." Cas made a face. Dean shrugged in agreement. She turned to Sam. "How'd we get stuck with such big drama queens?" She asked exasperated. He grinned.

"Some sort of cruel punishment?" He joked. Dylan chuckled.

"You wouldn't be wrong." She agreed, settling down in the chair opposite Cas. Dean and Sam settled down onto the bed.

"So. You're…." Dean tried, eyes squinted.

Dylan winced. "Alright, technically I'm not an alien. But I also kind of am. It's complicated." She shrugged. "I'm not…from here."

"Which means what?" Sam asked interested.

"Do you remember that dimension that Balthazar sent you to during the whole purgatory thing?" Dylan began, deciding that was the best place to start her story.

Dean and Sam shared a look. "Yeah." Dean answered slowly.

"How do you know about that?" Sam pressed.

"You visited that dimension." Dylan shrugged. "I lived in that dimension."

Dean's eyes widened. "So…"

Dylan nodded with a grin. "Yep. In 2005, when I was 13, a little show called Supernatural aired on TV. Starring…"

"Jenson and Jared." Sam intoned lowly.

"And Misha later." Dylan patted Cas' arm brightly. "I didn't find the show myself until I was 16."

"Ew." Dean grimaced, thinking back to when him and Sam had been stuck there. "You like that crap?"

"Oh no." Dylan shook her head quickly. "I hated it." She shared. "But I couldn't stop watching. And later, when I jumped dimensions," She paused, "Which is the part I cant tell you about and is very complicated," She rolled her eyes, "Suffice to say I got stuck here, like you got stuck there, but there's no way back for me, Cas has checked. Anyway, when I found out y'all were real here, I thought I could help."

"Help how?" Dean asked.

"Well," Dylan and Cas shared a look. "Me running into Cas while he was knee deep in the whole purgatory scheme wasn't an accident."

"And you talking him into jumping ship wasn't an accident either then?" Sam guessed. "How did you know it was going to turn out badly?"

Dylan winced. "The show runs quicker than actual time. Before I showed up here I'd seen up to season Nine and some of season ten."

"When does purgatory happen?"

Dylan made eye contact with the brothers. "End of season six."

"So…Cas' evil plan doesn't go well?" Dean smirked.

"After season six ends, NOTHING goes well for you." Dylan answered truthfully. "Pretty much every one dies." Sam's eyes widened. "Even you three," She added. "Many, many times."

"We're the main characters though, aren't we?" Dean argued.

"That didn't stop the writers." Dylan laughed. "Anyway, one thing I CAN tell you, is that Loki…"

"The guy who tried to take out Manhattan." Cas clarified. "Not Gabriel masquerading as Loki,"

"Yeah, Loki zapped me here on accident using his magic, and couldn't find a way to send me back, so I got stuck here." Dylan finished.

"I've been running around sticking my nose in everyone's business and just kind of seeing how I can help." She grimaced. "But I can't be ALL that much help. I don't want this universe to explode or anything."

"Also," Cas cautioned, "You have already affected this timeline tremendously…were you to stop your interference immediately, the events that are to occur would be very different than what you witnessed in your dimension."

"I know." Dylan rolled her eyes. "That's why I'm sticking to my list."

"List?" Sam furrowed his brow.

"Yeah. I have a list of people to watch out for that either cause serious damage, aren't who they say they are, or need some sense talked into them. They're the ones that mess up everything and kill lots of people."

Dean nodded slowly. "Smart." He held out his hand. "Let me see the list."

"No!" Dylan snapped. "You can't just look to me for everything in your life."

"We wouldn't do that." Sam argued.

"Only most of the time." Dean agreed.

Sam shot Dean a dirty look, and he shrugged. "What? Her list would be useful."

"That's why I'm HERE." Dylan argued. "I'm taking the temptation out of your hands while still being present if you need me."

Dean huffed. "So if we decided we want to trust a killer you'll just stand back and watch it happen?"

"No!" Dylan rubbed her forehead. "I'll….give you a signal or something if it's REALLY a bad choice."

"Like a code word?" Cas asked.

Dylan grinned. "Exactly! Good idea, Cas."

"What would the word be?" Sam asked slowly.

Dylan grinned. "I have JUST the word!"

"Hey, Dylan, come here for a second would you?"

"Just a second." Dylan murmured, not taking her gaze away from the computer screen in front of her.

Sam and Dean grinned. "We asked you to come over here earlier, and you said that exact same thing." Dean mentioned.

"That was an hour ago." Sam added.

Dylan sighed heavily, then shut her laptop. She shot the Winchesters a look. "Okay. What?"

Dean smirked. "Just come over here."

Dylan sighed heavily, but moved to stand in front of the brothers, who sat upright on the edge of the bed. "What?"

Sam looked at Dean slyly out of the corner of his eye, and with unspoken agreement, both brothers lunged.

Dylan shrieked as the two men grabbed her, threw her onto the bed…and proceeded to tickle her.

It had been a week since she'd been honest with them…or mostly honest. Sam had shrugged once the conversation had ended and continued to treat Dylan as he always had, with a fondness and big brother attitude that Dylan had…quite honestly, missed.

But Dean? His reactions toward her shifted. He still didn't want her to do much of anything, but finally began to see her as less of a burden and more of what she was SUPPOSED to be…an Ally. With that realization for Dean came a relaxation…he was MUCH more fun to be around...except for when the two decided to gang up on her.

"Stop! Seriously, don't touch me!" Dylan giggled helplessly as she tossed and turned and tried to get away from the brothers.

Sam cackled and Dean followed her as she tried to scramble away.

"What are you doing huh? Where are you going?" Dean laughed.

"What's so interesting on the computer that you ignore us?" Sam interrogated. "Huh? We're a little offended!"

"Guys!" Dylan cried out, "Seriously! You are adults!"

Dean shot Sam a grin. "Really? I forgot."

"I'm gonnna pee! I'm gonna pee!" Dylan tried to warn through her laughter.

A sudden knock at the door had the trio freezing.

"Yeah?" Dean asked cautiously.

"Cleaning Lady." A deep voice answered. Dylan buried her face in the pillow to muffle her snort.

"Uh…all clean in here, thanks though." Sam answered.

The door opened anyway and a tall man with dark brown hair stepped in, a white apron tied at the waist and huge yellow cleaning gloves that went all the way up to his elbows. Dean raised a brow at their cleaning "lady" and the man shrugged and dumped a pile of towels on the floor.

"Someone dropped that." He explained unnecessarily.

Dylan's shoulders shook as she tried to muffle her laughter.

Sam frowned. "Do I know you?" Then man furrowed his brows.

"No." He answered brusquely, slamming the door shut quickly.

Sam shot his brother a look. "He looked familiar."

Dylan sat up with a wide grin. "It was probably the hairnet."

Sam made a face, but the ringing of his phone distracted him. "Hello? Hey Cas. What do you need?" Sam nodded his head slowly, then he grimaced. "Are you sure? We'll be there if you need us but…Ok, yeah, we get it. We'll see you there. Alright, yeah…but you owe us." He hung up with a sigh.

"What's up?" Dylan asked, fixing her hair.

"Cas wants us to head to a meeting that the angels are having on earth, in vessels." Sam explained quickly. "It's not far. Apparently they're deciding how much angelic/human contact there should be. Wants us to share our two cents."

"Because they think so highly of us, right?" Dean snorted, but he stood.

"Now?" He asked. Sam nodded. "Alright, let's get this over with."

"Why is this guy still alive?" Dean whispered to Dylan furiously.

Dylan leaned over slowly. "Because, I couldn't think of a way to kill him that didn't lead to mass murder at the hands of Cas?"

Sam, who sat on Dylans other side, shot her a horrified look. She shrugged.

"True story."

Dean huffed and turned his attention back to Raphael, who droned on and on about the horrific creations that are humans.

Finally, Cas stood.

"Excuse me." He spoke politely. The crowd of angels immediately quieted. It was interesting to see how many angels respected Cas and his opinions, despite the fact that he turned his back on them before.

Dean shook his head as he thought about it. Yeah, Cas had to fight some of his siblings, but it was never about turning his back on anyone, or taking sides. It had always been about giving everyone a fighting chance.

Maybe the angels hadn't gotten that right away, but from the way they were regarding Cas, it looks like they got it now.

"I understand your hesitation. But all humans deserve a chance. A choice. As do all angels." His audience brightened at that and Raphael glowered. "Closing off heaven wouldn't just hurt the humans, it would hurt us as well. I'm not saying we have to befriend them,"

"Like you have?" Raphael scoffed.

"Not that it would hurt," Cas pointed out, continuing as Raphael just rolled his eyes, "but we can learn from each other."

The angels nodded approvingly, and Raphael leveled a lethal glare the Winchester's way. "And I assume you brought your pet mud monkeys here to speak in concert with your scandalous ideas?"

"Not exactly." Cas hedged.

"They're more just for show. Exhibit A, if you will." Gabriel beamed as he appeared at Cas' right hand, and the other angels gasped. Raphael sat back in shock.

"Gabriel. How?" He asked.

Gabriel grinned and shrugged. Then he pointed to the Winchesters. "They brought me back. Well, the cute one did." Gabe winked at Dylan who scoffed lightly and crossed her arms. He turned back to Raphael who looked decidedly worried. He spread his arms.

"I'm planning on sticking around for a while by the way. And for those of you asking with your eyes, I'm siding with little brother on this one." Gabriel threw his arm around Castiel. "The humans are….amusing, to say the least, and worth saving, if I wanted to wax poetry. Which I don't. You really gonna go against baby brother and his legion of fangirls?" Raphael glowered, refusing to back down.

"Alright." Gabriel shrugged. "You really go against ME?" His wings shot out of his back and Dylan and the Winchesters eyes widened.

They were….MAGNIFICENT. A tawny brown that spoke of innocence and mischief but that bristled so dangerously that Raphael inclined his head and took a step back.

Gabriel grinned. "Glad that's clear."

"So what next?" Dylan bounded up to Cas the second the meeting disbanded. The angels watched her curiously. Cas shrugged. "Raphael is still in charge."

"Well that's awesome." Dean snorted.

Gabriel slapped Dean on the back. His wings had disappeared and he smiled cheekily, looking the easy-going guy he usually was. "He knows very well I could take him out and move up, but also that I don't want to. As long as he doesn't piss me off, he can keep his authority.

Cas nodded. "Raphael, as long as he is monitored should not be able to do much damage."

"What's on his itinerary right now?" Sam asked.

"He is looking to dedicate a specific council of angels to regulate human interaction." Cas began. "He is looking for angels that will be sympathetic to the cause but also that will maintain their superiority."

Dylan shrugged. "Who's he looking at."

Castiel shrugged. "I know not all of them."

"Isn't he looking at Naomi?" Gabriel asked.

"NAZIS!"

Everyone froze and looked to Dylan who shrugged.

"Why?" Sam asked. He remembered their conversation from earlier.

Dylan winced. "I skipped that season. But I do know MAJOR NAZI…so yeah."

Gabriel coughed. He wasn't present during the conversation...so he had no idea what was going on. "You are the weirdest person I've ever met."

Dylan smirked. "Thanks. What else does Raphael got going on?" She turned back to Cas.

"He is looking to locate an angel who disappeared from Heaven."

Gabriel frowned. "The scribe? What does Raphael want with Metatron?"

"NAZIS!"

Gabriel jumped. "Seriously kid…what does that mean?"

Dylan just shrugged. "Major Nazis."

Cas frowned. "Really?" He asked disbelievingly.

Dylan's eyes widened. "ALL THE NAZIS." She explained solemnly.

Cas nodded. "I thank you for your appearance, Sam, Dean. Dylan," He winked. "Thank you. I will check in shortly." He strode away, headed in Raphaels direction and Gabriel poked Dylan in the side.

"Seriously…what's wrong with you?"

Dylan just grinned.

"Well…you clean up nice." Sam mentioned brightly. Dylan grinned and spun in a circle.

"You think so?" Dylan's brown hair was pinned up in a curly bun and she wore a black dress with a white blazer…and black motorcycle boots.

"Where do you think you're going?" Dean strode into the room. His face blanched. "You're not going on a date right?"

Dylan rolled her eyes. "No stupid. I'm going to a Graduation."

Sam narrowed his eyes. "Where? And why didn't you tell us?"

Dylan grinned. "An hour from here, in Virginia. And I'm telling you now."

Sam pursed his lips. "When do you have to leave?"

Dylan shrugged. "I have an hour or so. Why?"

"Good." Sam grinned. "That gives us time to get dressed."

Dylan scoffed. "You're not invited.

"You're not going alone." Dean spoke up.

"Yes…I am." Dylan crossed her arms.

Sam and Dean shared a look. Dylan thought about it….then she grinned. "Actually, sure, you can come."

"Miller, Bryan!"

"I regret this." Dean whispered and Sam slapped his arm.

"Shh." He admonished.

"It gets good really soon." Dylan chuckled.

"Milldren, Kylee!"

"When?" Dean griped.

"Wait for it…."

"Milligan, Adam!"

"WHAT?!" Dean and Sam shot up, and everyone froze.

Adam Milligan, the blond teenage youngest son of John Winchester, froze when he caught sight of the brothers.

"Er…." Sam winced. "Go Adam?"

Dylan snickered as the Dean and Sam reluctantly took their seats again.

"What kind of a school is this?" Sam whispered furiously.

Dylan beamed. "It's an awesome school, if I do say so myself." She laughed. "Which I do...because I own it."

"So you own a school."

"Yep."

"That our half-brother who we last saw plummet into hell just graduated from."

"Sounds about right."

Dean just shook his head. "I'm not even going to touch this. Sam…go find us a case." He handed Dylan a gun with a grin. "Let's see what you can really do with one of these."

Dylan checked for ammo, put on the safety, and slid in into the back of her pants. Such a simple move, and it suited her perfectly. Sam watched Dean, who eyed Dylan's moves fondly.

Dylan started out as a bit of a charity case. But now….two months later?

She was family.

"I am Dick Roman"

BANG!

Dean and Sam shot Dylan a look of shock, and she slid her gun back into her thigh holster.

"Let's just skip the Dick Jokes, shall we?"

"What happened to the code word?" Sam asked exasperated.

Dylan shrugged.

"Dick Jokes."

"Sammy, I love you, but,"

"Whoa, Gabe, I didn't know you felt that way about me."

"Dean…I love you too."

"You're disgusting."

"Would it help if I said I hate you all?"

"No it wouldn't Cas, because we all know you love me best."

"Hey! He's my brother he loves ME best!"

"I think it's obvious to everyone that Dylan is my favorite."

"Wow Cas. I see I've been replaced."

"Sorry Dean."

"You guys are the funniest drunks."

Dylan smirked at the brothers sprawled around the small table in her hotel room. She herself sat criss-cross on her bed, surrounded by paperwork and her laptop.

Cas smiled lazily and Dean huffed. Gabriel snorted loudly, and Sam…Sam keeled over in his chair and gripped his head.

"Sam!" Suddenly sober Dean jumped over the table to grab his brother's shoulder. "Sammy what's wrong?"

Sam just groaned, and a garbled word made it out of his mouth.

"Lucifer!"

Everyone froze except for Dylan who jumped up. She ran to Sam's other side.

"Sam!" She gripped the sides of his face and forced him to look her in the eyes. "Listen to the sound of my voice" She spoke lowly, "Whatever you're seeing…it's not real. He's not here, he's in the cage. It's not real Sam, I promise. IT'S NOT REAL."

As Dylan spoke, Sam calmed. He looked up, wide-eyed, when Dylan finally let his face go, and Dean crossed his arms.

"What was that?" He demanded.

Sam flushed. Dean's eyes darkened. "Are you still hallucinating about Lucifer?" He demanded.

Sam refused to make eye contact and Dean growled.

Dylan looked worried. "Hallucinations? How long?"

Sam shrugged. "A while."

"And you didn't tell me?" Dylan's eyes widened, hurt.

"I didn't want to worry you. I've been dealing with it since before you started hunting with us Dyl." He shrugged.

"But it's getting worse?" Dylan pressed.

Sam winced, and Dylan took that as a yes.

"Wait a second. Lucy's trying to drive Sam crazy from the cage?" Gabriel asked shocked.

It was Cas that answered.

"That's what it sounds like." He frowned. "How come you didn't say anything, to me if not Dylan?"

Sam sighed heavily. "It's something I have to fight on my own. It's not like you can just take it away."

Dylan winced, and Cas made a thoughtful face.

"What?" Dean asked urgently.

Cas' eyes slid to Dylan. "I believe I can take it away. It is something I tried, is it not?"

Dylan grimaced. "Let's just say it didn't go so well."

"Course it wouldn't. Gabe scoffed. "Cassie here, while overflowing with righteous indignation, just doesn't have the juice to eradicate a cursed leftover resonance left by an archangel. He'd go crazy himself."

Sam, who'd brightened at Cas' words, wilted. "So you can't help me?"

Cas shook his head. "Sorry Sam."

"It's okay." Gabe jumped up, affecting a superhero pose. "I'll do it."

"No!" Sam jumped up, stepping away from the archangel.

"No offense, Gabe," Dean spoke up, "But you don't have the best track record with us."

Gabe looked hurt.

"I just want to help. Trust me." He wheedled.

"I'm sorry, Gabe," Sam spoke a little shakily, "But I just…don't."

Gabriel huffed. "So you'd rather leave Lucy there to break your mind than to let me fix it?" He rolled his eyes. "I owe you guys a favor, you brought me back. Why would I hurt you?"

Sam just shrugged. Gabe shook his head and stood. "Fine. If you want my help, you know how to find me. Good luck fixing your broken mind without my help." He turned to Dylan. He smiled cheekily."I'm still working on your problem. I'll let you know if I find anything." Dylan nodded in thanks and with a whoosh sound Gabe was gone.

Sam shot Cas a pleading look. "I understand, Sam." Cas smiled grimly. "And whatever the consequences would be for myself, if you'd rather not let Gabriel fix you, I would do it." Sam shook his head quickly, but when he wasn't looking, Dean and Cas shared a significant nod. A few minutes later Cas took his leave. If the time came when Sam couldn't handle it, Cas would be there.

But it never got to that point.

Three weeks later Sam called on Gabriel…and he showed up.

Two days after that Sam's mind was fully restored to him and He trusted Gabriel a little more.

And Gabriel? Well, now he had leftover remnants of his brothers grace…and he had to try and decide what to do with it.

SO Gabriel is a family-orientated idiot who's probably most definitely going to do something stupid with it. But WHAT?

Next Chapter up in a mo.
