Ellie awoke to the delicious smell of meat. She slowly opened her eyes, seeing a leaf had been placed in-front of her like it was an offering. There were a few berries next to a slab of cooked meat resting in the middle, looking to be her breakfast. She had guessed that the alien had brought her it, seeing as he was taking care of her, as she guessed.
She she sat up, listening to the sound of the chain that was connected to her collar rustle gently as she began rubbing her eyes and letting out a loud yawn before she picked up the makeshift-plate and placed it upon her lap, looking down at it tiredly. Her mother never made her breakfast when she was younger, she barely cooked at all as a matter of fact buying only snacks every now and then and half the time not letting Ellie eat at all, almost forcing her to starve at some points. That was half the reason why she was so skinny. She was glad that that point in her life was over, that she had finally left home and started anew. She ate a lot, trying to get muscle into her that she never had before. She remained skinny, so many of her friends made her large meals every time she went to their houses.
Ellie stretched her sore limbs, looking down at the leaf to see what she wanted to eat first. The meat would be better to save for last, seeing as she didn't know if the berries that had been fetched for her tasted good or not. There was a total of five of the small spheres, three being red and two a strange blue-purple colour. They weren't recognizable, and she wasn't sure if she could trust it...
But, she grabbed a red berry and popped it into her mouth, testing it as she chewed. It was sour at first, but slowly melted into a sweet yet spicy flavor. She shivered, spicy things were her favourite. Ellie leaned back slightly, expecting to lay against her bookbag, but instead her back was met with a large, strong beast. How long had it been there!? How had she not noticed it?
She looked back at it over her shoulder, noticing it was one of the alien's hounds. It was half curled up, eyes open as its head laid on it's large paws. It raised its head slightly then snorted at her, but that was all it did before going back to the comfortable position.
Ellie bit down on her lower lip, trying to think of something to do. She took a deep breath and allowed her body to come into contact with the large animal, shutting her eyes as she waited for it to growl at her.
Nothing.
She opened an eye, looking to its face. It was just staring at her, giant blue eyes watching her closely. It seemed okay about the fact that she was resting her back up against it. She smiled, though it was one more of fear, seeing as the large creature could rip her to shreds if it so wanted, but it's master must have told it no, to just keep an eye on her so she didn't run. Not that she could. If she could, she would have already.
She settled on the creature's side, feeling it breathe in and out.
Ellie went back to her breakfast, eating the two remaining red berries, savoring them in her mouth for a few moments before swallowing them down. Then she looked at the blue ones and picked one up, wondering how these ones were. She was surprised to find they tasted sweet, and were extremely juicy for such a small thing. She giggled, kicking her feet some as she popped the other into her mouth, enjoying it just as much as the other.
She looked at the cooked meat, checking it, making sure that it was cooked in a way she liked. Rare. Hallelujah, it was exactly that. She picked it up, spying the hound perk up some out of the corner of her eye. She puffed out a cheek, biting a piece off of it before taking it out of her mouth, making sure no part touched her tongue. She held it out on her palm hesitantly, hoping it didn't decide that it wanted her entire hand along with the meat.
She was so thankful when it used its tongue instead to grab the meat, swallowing it down with ease. It pawed at the ground, looking happy even though it still looked menacing. Ellie patted the creature on the head, being mindful of it's spikes. It growled playfully, nuzzling into her touch before settling as close to her as it could get on each side.
Looks like she made a new friend, even though it was a ruthless killing machine. The hound reminded her of a Pitbull, they looked and were said to be mean and full of hate, but on the inside, they were just playful and full of love.
Ellie began to gnaw on the meat, ripping strips off when she felt it was loose enough. She did it over and over until there was barely any left. She offered the small chunk to the beast, giggling as it swiped its large tongue over her small hand, leaving saliva all over it as it swallowed down the chunk.
"Gross..." she mumbled, wiping her hand on her pants to get the sticky moisture off. The hound placed its head onto her lap, causing her to grunt as her legs began to feel pinned under it. Eeyup, it was heavy, and she didn't want to try and push it away, not knowing the limits with these things and touching.
She felt saved once that whistle noise sounded, the hound instantly scrambling to its feet as it ran to it's approaching master and the other hounds, jumping around as it barked at him, seeming to be staring up at what he was carrying. It was a person, a dead one at that. Ellie quickly stood as he approached her, throwing the dead body down beside her before he turned around, pointing at the hounds then to the body. They growled, running to the body before they began to tear it to pieces, causing Ellie to gasp and step away from them as far as the chain would allow her.
The massive alien grabbed her arm as light as he could, pulling her to him. He stared down at her, cocking his head as he let her go. Ellie rubbed the spot she was grabbed, watching him turn back around as he sat Indian style on the ground, pointing to his shoulders.
Ellie was confused, puzzled by his actions. It did come to her eventually. He wanted a back rub? At least that was what she thought the gesture meant.
Ellie knelt down behind him as he removed his armor, his back kept straight as he shook his head, making some of his thin dreadlock-like hair fly around, landing on his chest. She bit her tongue and rolled it between her teeth. She slowly pressed her hands to his shoulder blades, trying to remember how to massage someone's back. She had learnt from one of her friends, but it was escaping her now, just like everything else.
She began to rub his shoulders as harsh as she could, feeling his strangely smooth and bumpy skin. It was exotic to touch. He was built so sturdy, she was slightly envious and she wasn't even a male.
She pressed harder as she massaged his back, feeling the knot building up in her stomach unravel when he began to let out a low purr. He liked it, and she was thankful for that. She didn't want to mess-up, not after what he'd done for her. Even if it wasn't much she still appreciated it. There was also the factor that he was intimidating as hell.
He leaned forward, his purring becoming a bit louder as she continued even though his skin was beginning to make her hands feel numb and tingly due to the rough pebbles that only lightly protruded off of his back. Ellie had to pull her hands away, looking at them closely, they were a bit red and tired.
He growled now, looking back at her. He looked at her hands, possibly seeing how much they hurt. He took her hands in his own and she felt her heart race into a flutter like a startled birds out of panic. What was he going to do to her? She shut her eyes tight, holding her breath as she waited.
