"So, what you're saying is; this thing has feelings for you or something?" the man in the red hoodie spoke up, walking beside her since the Leader had decided that they needed to keep moving, get to a good enough spot to actually rest. Ellie was a bit afraid, she kept thinking Tracker was going to come out of the woods and slaughter them all for daring to touch her. He had said he wouldn't cause her harm, but, she was travelling with the people that he and his brothers were after... Would that danger her at all? She hoped that they didn't run into the other two, they didn't really seem too happy about her, so, they'd probably be the ones to hurt her given the chance.

Ellie shrugged, looking at the ground, "I suppose so. I don't know where his fondness came from, but he trusts me and I... trust him. He hasn't hurt me, and I don't think he wants to, I know he doesn't want to. After all, I am his... Exotic pet." she lightly poked the collar around her neck to amplify her point, "He doesn't hurt his pets. Trust me, I know."

"Don't you think it's a bit strange? Him just.. keeping you like an animal?" the other female, Isabelle as she introduced herself, asked, "I don't think it'd be too fun..."

"Kind of. I'm just glad he didn't decide to kill me the minute he laid his hands on me... He's been taking care of me, being extremely kind.. Giving me food, sheltering me. See, I'm not like you guys, I'm no threat." Ellie muttered, messing with the bandages that were placed onto her cheeks where Tracker had accidentally cut her with his mandibles, "... again, I didn't run from him, he took me to that waterfall and we had some time together then he left for some reason... He's sweet, kind of like a big teddy bear when he wants to be." she giggled, she really was hoping Tracker wasn't listening to her say such things, she was unsure how he'd respond to them when he collected her from the group.

"If I have a say in the matter..." the Leader suddenly spoke, turning to look at Ellie, making a slight face at her, "It sounds like you like that thing. He and his buddies tried to kill us, for your information. I don't know about you, but, I'd rather get off this damn rock instead of stay and have a little tea party with those damn beasts."

"..." Ellie was silent, looking at the ground instead of making eye-contact with him, "... I... hm..."

"Come on, let her be." Isabelle spoke, standing beside Ellie, "She probably stayed with him because she was afraid of being killed. Wouldn't you do the same?"

"No. I wouldn't. I'd try to run and defend myself from them, I wouldn't want to be some silly pet for one. That's just not right." he turned and began walking a little bit more, keeping his hands on his weapon as he looked around cautiously. Isabelle shook her head, looking back at Ellie.

"Sorry about him, he's not exactly a people person." she grinned, trying to make light out of the little situation.

"No, it's fine. I understand, I guess..." Ellie smiled, "... I've met lots of people that were like him in the past, it doesn't exactly bother me much anymore, you know?"

Ellie stayed near Isabelle, she was nice and understood her, making the shy girl basically see her as a sort of protector. That was rare to find, she always got in with the wrong crowds and it was never fun, she wasn't very good at judging character sometimes. She was so happy when the Leader finally stopped, saying that this spot was good enough to stop and rest. Ellie sat down beside a log, stretching her limbs until she felt some of her bones crack in a good way, making her sigh with relief, she shut her eyes and leaned back against the fallen log, feeling around for her bag that held her drawing books and pencils. She made a pout-y face when she couldn't find anything.

Shit, that was right, all her items were back at the Hunting Camp, she hadn't brought them with her when Tracker dragged her to the waterfall... She groaned, really wishing to draw. She brought her knees up to her chest as she hid her face in her lap, black hair with green highlights falling to each side of her face to hide it.

What was she going to do...? She was happy to be around people again, it made her feel at home, but she was also worried about what Tracker would do. So... she did have feelings for him, how could she not? He had kept her alive all this time, he even gave her 'trophies' as a symbol that he wanted her. It was ridiculous, unbelievable that a male like that would go for someone as fidgety or shy as her. She was the complete opposite of him, and yet he wanted to prove himself anyway.

Ellie couldn't help but to smile, a soft giggle coming from her. It was just like in the stories, the usual 'man falls for woman of a different race, woman slowly starts to fall for him too' kind though, but this was real, not a book or a movie. Tracker also had a strange charm to him that she couldn't help but love; he liked animals, well, as long as he could train them to brutally rip his opponents to shreds, but still it was something nice about him.

She looked around, trying to see if she could catch any spots that looked distorted by the cloaking device of the larger beings, seeing if he was watching from afar, waiting for her to join by his side. She stood up, taking a glance at the group, some were sitting talking to each other, there was one or two that were sitting alone though, not looking very interested. Ellie sighed, walking away slowly, looking at the ground before she slipped away as quiet as she could be. She prayed nobody followed her as she walked out of sight.

"Tracker?" she called out silently, looking around once more. Why was she looking for him? He'd find her soon enough. Maybe it was because she wanted to protect the group from his wrath, she wasn't sure if she could forgive him if he up and killed them without listening to her explanation as to why she was with them, "Tracker, are you there?"

"And just where are you going?"

Ellie froze up, eyes widening as she twisted around to spot the male in the orange jumpsuit. She backed up against a tree, looking away from him, "... Nowhere." she muttered, kicking at the ground, "Just... having some alone time. Sometimes being near that many people gets to me..." she lied.

"Hm... Well... you know..." he took a step closer to her, grinning as he pulled a knife out of his pocket, looking down at it. Ellie stared at him, trying to stay calm. She was unsure of his intentions, but she didn't feel like it was a good one, "you should of told someone that you were goin' off. It's not safe to be alone." he looked back up at her, a sadistic smile on his face.

She pressed her body closer to the tree, holding her breath, "... I... I wouldn't suggest doing what you're thinking. I-I'll s-s-scream, and you'll have it c-c-coming to you..." damnit, she hated stuttering when she was afraid, but she couldn't help it.

He flipped the knife a few times before he bolted at her, pressing the blade close to her neck, "Now now, don't you act like that. And don't scream, or else..." he threatened, looking her up and down. "You're gonna be fun."

Ellie whimpered, shutting her eyes. She wished she had a weapon, hell even a mechanical pencil would have been good at this point, just something to get him away from her, "...T... Tracker won't... b-be happy.." she whispered.

"Tracker this, Tracker that, blah, blah, blah. whatev-" a thud sounded from behind him and he quickly pulled away from her, only to have a large, single blade jab through his chest. Ellie gasped, placing her hands over her mouth as she watched the man spit up blood before he slowly passed out dead. The body was thrown to the ground by the invisible being, Ellie slowly slid down, trying to not freak out.

"...T...Tracker?" she mumbled hesitantly. She heard a few beeps before the cloak slowly unraveled to show who had come to her aid. Who wit was wasn't exactly who she expected, nor did she think would have ever done something like that.

It was Beserker, the eldest of the Bad Bloods. She felt her heart nearly stop with fright, everything in her body locking up making her unable to move as she stared up at the towering horror, his lone blade dripping with dark blood. She shut her eyes tight, grabbing some dried leafs from the ground, listening to the loud crunching noises they made as she balled her hands into fists.

She wasn't prepared to die. He was going to kill her, she knew it.

"Stand... Ooman." he ordered. She bit her lip, begging her limbs to move, but they refused. "Stand!" he hissed, causing her to scramble to her feet as quickly as she could. Her heart felt like it was a humming bird, she could of sworn she was on the verge of a heart attack. She kept her gaze on him, wanting to scream, but her voice-box felt like it was broken, her lips sealed shut by stitches. "That's... better..." he growled.

"... Beserker... I..." Ellie managed, her mouth was drying out quicker than she wanted from how scared and nervous she was.

"Don't... Talk..."
