Chapter 8:

Lothos sneered, "Aw Belthazar I should've known you would be at my son's side."

Cole rumbled, "You will pay for what you did to Abbey."

Lothos sneered as he flicked his wrist, and sent Cole, and Remy flying into the wall of the club, "You think so huh?"

Remy flipped back to his feet, and bared his fangs as he began to attack the massive horde of vampires. He spared a glance at Cole, and saw that he was hurling energy balls at vampire after vampire. He let out an animalistic growl as he tore through the vampires. Finally only Lothos remained standing. He cackled as he said, "I see you have much darkness, and rage within you my son. Perhaps I could help you learn to harness it."

Remy growled, "Screw you ya undead asshole."

Lothos shot him a cold smirk as he sneered, "Would you like to know what your mother's blood tasted like?"

Remy gave an animalistic roar as he let loose with a huge wave of fire and then leapt at Lothos. Lothos spun out of the way of the fire, and right into Remy. Remy gave a feral grin as he hit Lothos several times with his staff, and a brutal combination of kicks. Lothos waved his hand., and sent Remy crashing into the wall of the club. Then he turned his sights on Cole, and used his vampiric speed to charge him. Before Cole knew it Lothos had him hoisted in the air by his throat. He growled as he began to squeeze, "I do not like you being around my son you pathetic half breed."

Cole wheezed, "That's funny considering your son is a half breed."

Lothos sighed as he said, "Alas it is true. My progeny is a tainted abomination that either must be destroyed or turned to evil."

Cole glared daggers at him as he growled, "I'll gladly kill you before I ever allow that to happen."

Lothos gave a hearty laugh as he rumbled, "And how will you accomplish that?"

Before he could answer Lothos was blasted in the back. When Cole was finally able to see clearly; he saw Piper, Phoebe, and Paige standing beside the wall that Remy was slammed into. He also saw that Remy was leaning heavily on Leo. Lothos said as Phoebe helped Cole to his feet, "Aw you must be the Charmed Ones. How nice to finally meet you."

Piper asked, "Who are you?"

Lothos replied, "I am Lothos. I will take my son and be gone."

Cole said as he formed an energy ball, "I don't think so."

Lothos had a cold grin on his face as he bared his fangs and asked in a sneer, "And who pray tell is going to stop me? You?"

Piper said, "We will."

Lothos gave a very cruel laugh as he sneered, "You're joking right; three witches, and a half demon against me?"

Remy struggled to straighten up as he growled, "Don fo'get bout Remy. He wanna buy in ta dis too."

Lothos glared at them as he snarled, "You will all pay dearly for this insult."

And with that he vanished in a puff of black smoke. Once he was gone Remy let out a pained sigh and collapsed into unconsciousness. Cole dropped down beside him and carefully cradled his head as he yelled, "What's wrong with him?"

Piper had only seen Cole act like that when Phoebe was hurt or in danger. She decided he definitely cared for the Dhamphyr. As Leo healed him Phoebe, and Paige were rapidly coming to the same conclusion. After Leo was done Remy stood up, and cursed in French. Then he said, "T'anks homme."

Cole nodded as he said, "I said I would help you and I meant it."

Phoebe said, "We will help you too."

Everyone was stunned into speechlessness by Phoebe's words. After several minutes Remy walked over, picked up her hand, and placed a chaste kiss on the back of her hand as he said, "Thanks Petit."

Cole said, "I've had enough excitement for one night. Let's head home."

Remy said as he turned go get his bike, "See y'all later."

Cole called as he was walking off, "Where are you going?"

Remy stooped and turned around as he replied, "Ta get my ride."

Cole asked, "Where are you staying."

Remy replied, "Don worry bout Remy Mon Ami I get by."

Cole fixed him with a stern glare as he said, "You can stay with us."

Remy smirked as he said, "T'anks Mon Ami but Remy don need…"

Cole cut him off, "Do you remember when you were little and I told you that I would always love and protect you?"

At Remy's nod Cole continued in a gentler voice, "Well I meant it. Let's go."

Remy's smirk changed into a full blown grin as he said, "Yes sir."

Then he jumpeded on his black with dark red flames 2014 Harley-Davidson DYNA Wide Glide and followed them back to the manor.

He finally has the support of Phoebe. Should him and Paige start flirting
