I'm so sorry I disappeared for three whole weeks but I'm finally back. I hope you will like this one.

Kurt pressed his forehead to the cold wall beside the toilet. It was the third time he threw up in the morning and he didn't even eat anything. He didn't know what was going on with him, he blamed his nerves and the horrible happenings of the last few days.

"Kurt, are you okay?" he heard Finn's voice from the other side of the bathroom door. He stood up slowly, washed out his mouth and opened the door for his half-brother.

"I'm fine" he said weakly, not assuring Finn at all.

"You look horrible" Finn said and shook his head in concern. "Come on, let's go back to the bed."

Finn helped Kurt out of the bathroom and back into his bed, where he had spent the last days. Kurt sighed as he got back into the warmth and closed his eyes. He was so tired. He didn't get any sleep for days and his eyes were burning because of the constant crying.

"Did you eat breakfast?" Finn asked. Kurt opened his eyes again to look up at his brother. He would have been glad if he could have had his peace.

"I'm not hungry."

"You didn't eat yesterday at all!"

Kurt sighed again and slowly sat up.

"Look, Finn, I'm really not hungry. I just want to have some rest. I'll be fine."

"I'm worried about you" Finn answered quietly. "It's my job to take care about you and I obviously don't do it too well."

"You're great, Finn, and don't worry, I'll be okay soon."

"I hope so, little brother" Finn said as he stood up and slowly left the room. Kurt leaned back against his pillow, looking up at the ceiling.

"I miss you, Blaine" he whispered and closed his eyes again, although he knew he won't be able to sleep.

There was that weird feeling in his chest that didn't leave him rest. Every time he tried, it appeared, bringing back his memories with Blaine, as if it wanted to remind him where he belong. And he felt the need to jump out of the bed and find Blaine because he needed him. Kurt sighed and turned to his side, closing his eyes.

"I miss you" he whispered again and clutched the sheet hard because of the sudden pain in his chest

"Sit down, Blaine" Shannon Beiste said immediately as he entered the room. Blaine nodded and sat down quickly.

He was in the same room as the last time, the only thing that changed was the person in front of him. He looked down, playing with his fingers. He didn't care what Shannon wanted from him. He had told everybody a dozen times in the past few days that he was innocent, that he didn't help his father and the most important he would never hurt Kurt. But nobody believed him. He didn't even get the chance to talk to the other boy on phone and it made him angrier every time. He needed Kurt. He literally needed his presence by now.

"I want you to tell me about your father's plans" Shannon said, breaking the silence. Blaine rolled his eyes. Here we go again.

"I don't know what you want from me. I told you that I don't know anything about my father. Do you really think if we worked together, he would have left me here?" he asked, looking straight into the woman's eyes.

"I believe you" Shannon said quietly.

"But I... What?" Blaine asked in surprise.

"I said I believe you" Shannon said again. "I know you since the day you were born. I know you're not like your father."

Blaine wanted to stand up and hug the woman.

"Please, help me. I have to talk to Kurt, he's the only one who can help me" he pleaded desperately.

Shannon was silent for a few long moments and sighed.

"I'll do everything I can to help you but that's not so simple. You have to be patient."

Blaine started chewing his lip nervously.

"Please, just call Kurt" he said finally. "He'll feel that I tell the truth."

"What do you mean?" Shannon asked in confusion. Blaine sighed and took a deep breath before responding.

"He's my mate" he whispered. Beiste's eyes widened as she studied the boy's expression.

"Are you sure?" she asked. Blaine nodded instantly.

"Yes. It's been only a few days but I have this feeling in my chest, I feel like I have to go to him right now. And I'm sure he feels the same way."

"I'll talk to Finn. Don't worry, I'll get you out of here" Shannon said and put a reassuring hand on Blaine's shoulder.

"Thank you."

"What is it?" Finn asked immediately as he entered the meeting room. He just got a call from Will that they had found something.

"Calm down and take a deep breath" the older man said. "We got a call from the mall. Our man in the security team saw Ivan Kozlov."

"Where's he?" Finn asked, ready to go and question the man.

"We don't know..."

"Fuck!" Finn cut in.

"Finn! But we have pictures from his car and I asked for the recordings of the city's surveillance system. We're close" Will said with a small smile but it seemed that Finn expected something else.

"Oh. Yeah, that's great" he said finally.

"It's a start" Will responded.

"Finn! Can I talk with you?"

The two men looked up to see Shannon Beiste standing by the door.

"Of course" Finn said with a nod and followed Beiste out to her office. She opened the door and motioned Finn to step in. When they were in the room, Shannon closed the door.

"I went to see Blaine this morning" she said after taking a seat.

"And what did he say?" Finn asked, not really wanting to know about Blaine's newest lie.

"I think the kid is innocent" Beiste said. "You know him, Finn, just as well as I know him. He wouldn't do something like that."

"Yeah, and we thought John wouldn't do something like that, but he did. Why would Blaine be different?"

Beiste sighed and leaned back against her chair.

"Is everything okay with Kurt?" she asked suddenly. Finn frowned.

"Why do you ask?"

"Isn't he... Sick? Tired? Or... or throwing up?" she continued.

"I don't understand. Of course he doesn't feel well, with all he has been through... But what does it do with Blaine?" Finn really didn't understand what the woman wanted to say.

"Maybe it's not because of the trauma. Maybe... maybe it's because we keep him away from his mate" Shannon said hesitantly.

Finn's eyes widened. Did she mean...

"You think they're mates?" he asked finally.

"Blaine said he has this feeling... that he has to get to Kurt. And if Kurt feels the same way..."

"No! We're not doing this!" Finn said and jumped up. "Blaine's lying. He just wants to get out, so he can finish his job. I won't let him near Kurt again!"

"Come on, Finn, he's just a kid. And you know how his relationship with his father was. Do you really think he would help him after everything John did to him?"

Finn didn't respond for a few minutes. He looked down, trying to figure out what he should do. They had John's e-mails which said Blaine helped him all this time. But he knew the kid since he was a baby and saw how badly John treated him.

"I'll talk to Kurt" he said finally.

"Thank you" Shannon said. Finn gave her a quick nod and left the room.

"Kurt? Can I come in?" Finn asked as he knocked on Kurt's door half an hour later. First he wanted to stay and work for a few more hours but he couldn't think of anything else than Kurt and Blaine. So he decided to go home earlier.

Kurt didn't respond and Finn knocked again, louder this time.

"Kurt! Are you in there?" he asked and waited for an answer but it never came. "I'm going in!" he decided and opened the door.

Kurt wasn't in his bed but he could hear him groaning in the bathroom. He rushed there and found the boy sitting beside the toilet with his back against the wall, breathing heavily.

"What's wrong?" Finn asked as he stepped to his half-brother. Kurt shook his head and emptied his stomach into the toilet again.

"I don't know" he whispered finally, falling back against the wall. "I tried to drink some blood but it all came back."

"Do you feel anything? Are you in pain?" Finn asked, finally starting to believe Blaine.

"I... There's this strange feeling... in my chest" Kurt groaned out. "And I know it's weird but I think I have to get to Blaine. There's something wrong."

Finn's eyes widened. So it was true.

"Come on, you have to lay down" he said and lifted Kurt up and carried him back into his room.

"But..." the boy struggled the sit up but he was too weak and fell back.

"Don't worry, he'll be here in no time, okay? Just stay here. I have to call somebody."

Finn waited for Kurt to nod and then quickly left his room. He ordered Ryder and Jake to stay there and watch his brother, then he went to his study for his phone and called Beiste. The woman picked up after the first ring.

"Kurt's sick" he said before Shannon could greet him. "You were right, it's because of Blaine. You have to let him out and bring him here as fast as you can, okay?"

"Is it that bad?" Beiste asked in concern.

"Yeah" Finn said. "I think it's because he's only half vampire."

"We'll be there soon" she said and disconnected the call. Finn took a deep breath before leaving the room to speak with the guards.

Blaine felt his head fall back against the wall. He was sitting in the corner for God knows how long after he had tried to drink some blood but he felt sick from it. He knew it will only be worse and he was worried because he didn't know how Kurt feels. The need to be with his mate became stronger than before and he was wandering if he could just kick the door hard enough to free himself. Suddenly, the door opened and he jumped up with bright red eyes, ready to attack whoever was behind it.

"Blaine?" he heard the familiar voice but he needed to see Shannon to remember who the voice belong to. "God! You look horrible!"

The woman stepped closer to him hesitantly. She could see that Blaine was close to attack her, and although the younger vampire was weaker than her, he could be dangerous in this state.

"Blaine, calm down. I'm here to bring you to Kurt" she said, trying to calm the boy down. Blaine blinked in surprise for a few times and Shannon let out a relieved breath when his eyes returned to their normal color.

"Is he okay?" he asked in concern. Beiste smiled weakly and nodded.

"He will be. But we have to hurry."

Twenty minutes later they arrived at Finn's house and Blaine jumped out of the car. He really didn't need to ask anyone where he could find Kurt, he sensed his presence and his feet carried him directly to Kurt's room. He opened the door without knocking and found Kurt in his bed, with Finn sitting beside him. He growled as he saw the man who kept him away from Kurt but Finn stepped away from the boy and waved Blaine to go closer to him. Blaine didn't hesitate, he jumped to Kurt and took his hands into his, squeezing them slightly. Kurt's eyes were closed but he slowly opened them when he felt Blaine's presence.

"Blaine?" he whispered and blinked. He thought he was dreaming.

"I'm here, baby" Blaine said and kissed Kurt's hands.

"Blaine" Kurt said and sat up. He threw himself into Blaine's arms with tears in his eyes. "How is it possible?"

"They realised I'm innocent" Blaine replied, looking up at Finn for affirmation. The man nodded instantly and Blaine smiled.

"So you're not going away, right?" Kurt asked hopefully. Now, that Blaine was right by his side, he felt much better.

"No, never" Blaine smiled and pulled Kurt back into a firm hug.

Two days later, Finn left his house early in the morning. Kurt was healthy and happy again, although he didn't understand what happened to him or how Finn knew Blaine was innocent. Finn talked to Blaine about it the previous night and they agreed that Blaine will be the one who tells Kurt about the bond between mates and gives the boy a short explanation about their laws. Then Kurt has to decide if he wants to have a real mating ceremony with Blaine to make their relationship official. Finn only had one thing to do: to have THE talk with Kurt. He closed his eyes and leaned his head on the wheel. He hated the day when his father had sat down with him to talk about sex. It had been really awkward and he just wanted to jump up, run back into his room and lock himself up for a few days. He wondered if his talk with Kurt will go smoother.

Finn finally started his car and sped up. He promised Blaine that he and Kurt will have enough time alone to discuss their future, so he decided to go to work earlier. He didn't realise that he drove faster than the speed limit allows, only when he reached his destination in only eleven minutes. Maybe he should have cleared out his head before getting into the car. He got out quickly and went straight to his office from the parking lot. To his surprise, he wasn't alone. Shannon and Will were already standing there.

"What's going on?" he asked. There was no way that Will Schuester would appear earlier than 8 at work if it wasn't something important.

"Finally! We called you a few times, even at home, but Kurt said you're on your way here" Will said and took a few steps forward.

"Did you find something?" Finn asked excitedly.

"We found Kozlov" Will said with a wide smile. "Our men've just arrested him. He will be here in twenty minutes."

"That's great!" Finn said, putting a hand on Will's shoulder. "Just give me a minute. I'll go right after you" he said, stepping into his office. This day started wonderfully.

Twenty minutes later the three council members were sitting in the interrogation room, waiting for Kozlov to arrive. The door opened again soon and the guards led the man inside. They handcuffed Kozlov's hands to the table and stepped back, leaving enough space for the council members.

"Ivan Kozlov" Will started, standing up and stepping closer. "We found evidence that you helped the escapee John Anderson and committed multiple crimes in his commission."

Kozlov leaned back in his chair and smiled.

"True" he said easily, surprising everybody in the room.

"If you help us to find him, we can reduce your punishment" Will continued. "What do you say? Are you willing to cooperate?"

"Thank you for your offer, but no" Kozlov laughed. "I'll get out of here, I don't need your help."

The three council members eyes met briefly before Finn stood up and went to the man.

"I don't think you're aware of what is waiting for you if you don't cooperate" he said. Kozlov shook his head slowly and leaned closer to Finn.

"You're wrong" he said with a creepy smile. "I'll get out of here faster than you can blink."

Finn smiled at that. The council's prison was the safest in the world, nobody could escape from it.

"You really don't know what's going on, right?" Kozlov continued. "I wanted you to find me."

Finn frowned, looking back at his colleagues hesitantly. It looked like he wasn't the only one who didn't understand what Kozlov wanted to get at.

"You're late, Hudson" Kozlov said, his smile not fading for a second. "I think John already got what he wanted by now."

Finn finally realised what the man meant. He rushed out of the room to go and get his phone. He needed to call Kurt and make sure he was okay. Kozlov's laugh followed him down the corridor.

"I'm so happy that you're here with me" Kurt said as he leaned against Blaine's chest.

The boys were sitting in the garden, enjoying the cloudy weather. Blaine started getting nervous, he prepared himself to talk with Kurt about more serious themes but he waited for the right time.

"I'm happy, too" he said and kissed Kurt's hand. "Those days without you... it was really hard."

"Please, don't speak about it. I want to enjoy this day. You know that Finn won't come home before six, right?" Kurt asked mischievously.

Blaine sighed. Although he could think of a lot of things they would love to try, he promised Finn to talk to Kurt.

"I know, I talked with him last night. We agreed that I should tell you a few things about our laws and... and a few other things" he stuttered out. Why was it so hard so say 'mating' or 'bond'?

"Okay" Kurt sighed, not happy at all. He thought he and Blaine could finally move forward with their relationship. They rarely spent time alone.

"Where are you going?" Blaine asked when Kurt stood up and started walking towards the house.

"I need some ice cream before you start your boring speech" he said. Blaine jumped up and quickly caught up with Kurt, stopping him easily.

"Stay here, I'll get it for you" he said, glad that he had the opportunity to go over what he had to say before telling it Kurt.

"I can make it" Kurt responded.

"Kurt, you were very sick a few days ago. You have to take it easy for awhile" Blaine said, pecking Kurt on his lips.

"Okay" Kurt sighed and went back to their blanket.

Kurt waited for a few minutes for Blaine to come back, playing on his phone. Soon he started to get impatient and decided not to wait longer. He stood up again and walked back into the house. He went straight into the kitchen because he thought he will find Blaine there, searching for the ice cream. He wasn't even sure the vampire knew where to find it.

"Blaine?" he asked as he looked around and didn't see Blaine there. It was weird. Where else could he go?

He took a few steps into the room but he didn't see his boyfriend.

"Blaine, where are you?" he asked and looked around again.

The door to the pantry was open and when he looked in there, he finally saw Blaine but not how he wanted to. Blaine was lying on the floor, perfectly still. He ran to him and started shaking the boy's shoulders.

"Blaine! Wake up!" he shouted desperately. "Guards!" he called out, hoping that somebody would hear him and come to help.

Suddenly, somebody grabbed him from behind, putting a strong arm around him, and clamped a rag over his mouth which had a strange smell. Kurt struggled, he tried to kick his attacker, but he was too strong and Kurt felt himself weakening.

And then everything went black.
