Warnings: a little violence and bad language

Finn drove as a mad man. He tried to call Kurt and Blaine, even Ryder, but nobody answered him. So he was getting nervous. He couldn't be late. He had to get home in time.

He finally reached his house and got out of his car in a second. Will and Shannon were following him with their guards, but when they parked their cars Finn was already at the gates.

"Where are the guards?" Will asked as Finn tried to get in.

"I don't know but I don't like it" he replied. He tried to open the gate with his door opener but it didn't work. So he tried with his hands.

"Let me help you" Will said and the two man was finally able to open the gate. They rushed in with the others following them closely.

They found the front door open. Finn stopped immediately, finally thinking about the possibility that John was still there. They had to be careful.

"We have to be careful. Jake, come with me, the others with Will and Shannon. We have to find the boys" Finn said and the others nodded.

Finn chose the upper level, Shannon stayed outside in the garden and Will had the lower level. Finn was fast, opening door after door but they found nothing there. Kurt's room was clean and ordinate just like always and nothing was missing. His own room seemed untouched, too.

"Finn!" he heard Will yell and he rushed downstairs. It wasn't hard to find Will as the guards were towering around him in the kitchen.

"What is it?" he asked and stopped instantly when he saw the unmoving form of Blaine. "Is... is he alive?"

Will nodded and Finn let out a shaky breath.

"Did you find Kurt?" he asked as his brain started working again.

"No, but we found signs of scrum inside. I... I think John took him already" Will said with heavy heart. He knew Finn would be devastated and he was right. The man paled even more which was almost impossible because he was a vampire. He leaned against the wall and shook his head.

"No... This can't be happening" he whispered.

"Finn!" Shannon burst into the kitchen. "We found the guards. They're unconcious but... What happened here?" she asked as she saw Blaine in Will's arms.

"We are too late" Finn said.

Kurt opened his eyes slowly. His head was throbbing and he had to close his eyes again because the bright light around him just made it worse. He tried again after a few seconds, though. He blinked a few times, getting used to the light. Now he was able to see. He was in a small room with concrete walls and no window. The light was coming from the lamp over him.

He felt really uncomfortable and when he looked around again, he noticed that he was sitting on a wooden chair, with his hands tied behind his back and his legs tied to the chair. He tried to move, to free himself but he wasn't strong enough to do so. He started panicking. First he didn't remember what happened to him, why he got into this situation. But then his memories started coming back. He remembered being in the garden with Blaine, that Blaine was about to say something important but he wanted an icecream before they started. That Blaine didn't come back from the kitchen and he went after him, that Blaine was unmoving and he couldn't wake him up, that somebody grabbed him from behind...

"Ah, I see you're awake."

Kurt snapped up his head with wide eyes, jumping on his seat in alarm. He didn't see the speaker, although he looked around in the room.

"Who-who is there?" he asked in a shaking voice. Suddenly, the door opened and a man stepped inside. A man he saw too often in the last weeks. "Mr Anderson?"

John stepped closer to Kurt with a satisfied grin on his face.

"I waited for so long to get you" he said and stroked Kurt's cheek with his right hand. Kurt pulled back from the contact.

"What are you doing? Why am I here?" Kurt asked and started struggling but it was useless.

"I need you for my plan" John answered simply. Kurt shook his head slowly. He still didn't understand anything.

"I-I don't understand" he said, pulling against his bonds again, desperate to get away from the man.

"Tomorrow, I'll become the most powerful vampire of the world. But I need your help for that. I wanted to get you for months but your brother and our dear Blaine didn't make it easy for me."

God, Blaine.

"What did you do to Blaine?" Kurt demanded to know.

"Oh, don't worry, he's fine. Maybe has a little headache but it comes with the magic I used on him and the guards. Sadly, I couldn't use it on you, too. You have to be pure for the ritual."

Kurt's eyes widened.

"What are you talking about?"

John stepped back to him, grabbed his hair and pulled his head back, forcing Kurt the look straight into his bloodshot eyes.

"Tomorrow there'll be a full lunar eclipse. If I make the ritual in the perfect time I'll get the power of the strongest vampires who ever lived. And then... I'll rule the whole world."

John laughed and let go of Kurt's hair. The boy felt his eyes tearing up.

"But what do you want from me?" he asked in a small voice.

"For the success of the ritual, I need the blood of a being born from a human and a vampire parent. A dhampir. Sadly, the only one I know is you. I looked for you for a very long time. Your mother sacrificed herself to save you when I first found you, but it wasn't enough to stop me. I found you again."

"You're behind my father's death" Kurt whispered as recognition hit him.

"Of course. I thought it would be enough but then Finn came into the picture. I was thankful first for making you move here, it was better for me to have you around" John said.

"But your man couldn't get near me" Kurt continued as the small pieces became complete in his head. John only nodded.

"I didn't want to waste my power for such a simple job, but it turned out even making Blaine look guilty wasn't enough to turn the attention away from you."

John rolled his eyes, walking behind Kurt. The boy's eyes followed him there, he couldn't trust the man not doing something to him.

"How could you do this to your own son?" Kurt hissed, remembering how bad Blaine looked after coming out of the prison. John laughed again.

"I don't like my sons. I never did. I only agreed to have children because I knew I could keep my mate busy with it, so she left me alone with my business. Unfortunately, she saw something she shouldn't have when I met Ivan in Moscow and she had to... disappear."

"You... you killed her? Your own mate?" Kurt asked unbelievingly. This man couldn't be so cruel.

"No. I paid Ivan to kill her. Not the same" John said easily. He stepped back to Kurt and grabbed his chin. "Sometimes people have to make hard decisions. This one was mine. But I want the power more than I loved my mate, so she had to go. She'll forgive me when we meet again."

Kurt's eyes widened as John talked. The man was crazy and his eyes said he really believed what he told Kurt which made him even more dangerous.

"Tomorrow my biggest dream will come true. I only need your blood for it" John continued, bringing Kurt back from his thoughts.

"What? No! I won't give it to you!" he yelled. John let go of his chin and walked slowly to the door.

"You will give it to me" he said quietly, not looking at Kurt. "You won't have another choice."

Then he opened the door and walked out before Kurt could form an answer. He stared at the now closed door for a long time after that, his tears falling freely from his eyes.

Blaine needed almost two hours to regain conciousness. He opened his eyes a few times but he wasn't really concious then. Finn and Will stayed by his side and watched him, ready to ask their questions when Blaine was ready. Shannon dealt with the guards and Will called his mate to inform the other council members about John's act. Surprisingly, Sue Sylvester offered the most help, ordering all of her guards to help Finn's men in the search.

"Blaine, can you hear me?" Will asked gently when Blaine opened his eyes, looking around in confusion.

"What happened?" he whispered. His head hurt like hell and his sight was blurry.

"We thought you could tell me" Finn answered, trying to be patient.

Blaine stared at him, trying to remember what happened earlier.

"We were in the garden with Kurt. I wanted to tell him about the mating and... and I went back into the kitchen to get icecream."

Blaine stopped because he wasn't sure what happened after that.

"I was in the kitchen, I remember that, but I don't know what happened later" he said. Suddenly, he realised that Kurt wasn't there with them. "Where is Kurt?"

He tried to sit up but fell back immediately.

"Don't move, okay? We don't know what kind of sedative did you get, you have to be careful" Finn said, not looking into Blaine's eyes.

"Where is Kurt?" Blaine asked again. He knew something was very wrong. Finn and Will's eyes meet briefly, before Finn looked down and Will turned to Blaine with a sigh.

"We didn't find him when we got here. We think that your father kidnapped him" Will said quietly.

Blaine's eyes widened and he felt a stab of pain in his chest. This couldn't be happening. He couldn't lose Kurt again.

"How can I help?" Blaine asked quietly. He had to do something.

"If you know anything about your father's plans, it's time to share with us" Finn responded.

"Can you just stop that?" John came back into the room angrily after he had listened to Kurt's screams for almost an hour long.

"No!" Kurt croaked. He was certain he'll lose his voice by the end of the day but he had to try and find help to get out of here.

"Nobody can hear you" John said. "We're in the middle of nowhere, so it's useless."

"I don't believe you" Kurt said, looking straight into the man's eyes. He wasn't going to show weakness.

"I don't care if you believe me or not. Stop screaming or I'll gag you" John said and stepped out of the room, only to come back with a glass of blood a few seconds later. "I think you're hungry."

He held the glass to Kurt's mouth but the boy pulled away from him. He was hungry but he didn't trusted the man who wanted to bleed him.

"You better drink or I'll force you" John warned him. "I need you in your best state for the ritual, you won't screw this up for me."

Kurt kept his gaze stadily on the man but didn't open his mouth. John suddenly grabbed his hair painfully.

"You little bitch! Open your mouth. Now!" the man shouted.

Kurt tried to pull his head away but Blaine's dad was too strong. He tightened his grip on Kurt's hair and the boy cried out in pain. John didn't hesitate and poured from the liquid in his hand into Kurt's mouth. He let go of Kurt's hair and put his other hand over the boy's lips, so he couldn't spat out the blood.

"Swallow" John said dangerously.

Kurt felt his eyes water as he tried not to swallow the blood because he didn't know what could be in it. John pressed his fingers against his cheeks harder, causing Kurt pain again. The boy swallowed the blood before he knew what he was doing.

"Good boy" Anderson smiled and slowly, he made Kurt drink the whole content of the glass.

"Blaine will find me" Kurt said suddenly, his tears falling freely from his eyes.

"He won't" John said instantly. "He doesn't know where we are. Nobody does."

The man took out duct tape from his pocket and ripped down a piece of it, placing it quickly on Kurt's mouth.

"And now be quiet. I have to get ready for the ritual."

"You said it's not the first time he disappeared for days. Have you any clue where went earlier?" Will asked. They were sitting in the living room for the past hours and Blaine tried to remember what his father had said when he went for 'business trips'.

"I... he always called me a few hours before he got home. He said he was on his way."

"Do you remember background noises?" Will asked.

"I don't know... How will this help us find Kurt?" Blaine asked impatiently. He felt that Kurt was alive but he didn't know what his father planned to do with his boyfriend and it made him really nervous.

"The kidnapping has to do something with your father's past actions. We believe that he took Kurt somewhere safe, a place he knows. And probably he went there often earlier" Will answered. He knew it was hard for Blaine, so he tried to help the boy.

"When... when he called once he said he was at the airport. But he got home too early after that. And I heard something weird in the background. Birds and... and maybe a waterfall" Blaine said uncertainly.

"Yes! This can be the one. Do you know anything else about this place?" Finn asked. He stayed silent for a long time but now he was sure they got the right track.

"I really don't know. I never expected him to do something like this, I never paid attention" Blaine answered and buried his face into his hands but he looked up again when something came into his mind. "He took only comfortable clothes with him. I was surprised because he said he had an important meeting but he didn't have a suit. And he brought blood with him. Not just for one day, for-for maybe four or five. It didn't look like he was staying in a hotel."

"So it can be somewhere near in the forest. We have to look around for waterfalls, there can't be so many" Finn said and sighed loudly. Finally, they had something, even if it wasn't much.

"We have to get back into the office and go through his papers again" Will said and stood up. Finn joined him instantly.

"You should have some rest, Blaine" Finn told him gently but Blaine shook his head as he stood up.

"No! I want to help. I'm going with you" Blaine said intently.

Finn hesitated for a long moment but then he decided they could use Blaine's help.

"Okay, let's go!" he said and started running towards the gate.

They all had the same thought, that they couldn't be too late.
