The Monsters' Prisoners

The bubbling sound of the lava awakens Flame Princess from her sleep. Her head still hurts after falling to the river of mud and fire. She looks around if there is anyone nearby. After looking left and right, she was alone. The next thing she do is to find the closest ground to climb on before the current of the boiling river drag her away.

However, the current of lava river is strong and she can't grabbed any solid rock to hold on to. Flame Princess struggles to beat the strong force of the magma. Fortunately, someone held her hand and pulled her out from the hot red river. "Are you okay?"

A young prince of flames helped her out. FP thanked him after that. "So, you are helping the enemy now?"

"Well, we came here to stop you. But it looks like we failed. Now these monsters are going on a rampage."

"Alright." Flame Princess wants some answers. "Who are you, people?"

"Oh. It's complicated. Just ask Prince Gumball. He'll tell you everything."

"But the last time I saw him is when..." She remembered the monster with a large mouth and grin and how it just destroyed everything around it. "Oh, no. They are gone. That monster destroyed them. That powerful scream."

"No. They are fine." Flame Prince still believes his friends are alive. "I know them. They are tough to beat. Even Fionna and Cake, I can't beat them. So, I'm sure they were captured somewhere."

"And where do you think they are?"

The prince has some thoughts.

Meanwhile, between two realities, the head of Grob Gob Glob Grod floats in the vast space drifting away to the place unknown. The cosmic god is fine and well however, he's disabled for a moment.

"So, what do we do now?" Grob asked.

"I don't know. We wait, I think." Gob answered.

"Can we call our brother?" Glob suggests.

"What can he do?" Grod said.

The four started to think of another way aside from asking help from Magic Man. But then, Glob spotted something from the dark void. A shimmering light approaches. "Guys! We have incoming!"

"What is it? Is it a meteorite?"

"How can a meteorite be here in this void?"

"Um, I don't think that's a meteorite." Grob said, noticing a large cap on that thing's furry head. "Hey! It's the Party God."

The floating wolf head approaches Grob Gob Glob Grod's head. "So, you guys need a hand."

Gob answered, "Well, both of us doesn't have any hands."

Then the Party God ignores the joke, "Hey, Prismo and the others are getting themselves ready for a party."

"Seriously? At a time like this? Have you heard the news, man? The Nine are free!" Glob said.

"Hey! Just because I'm a Party God doesn't mean I'm always having fun. And this party is a war party!" The furry god growled.

Grob Gob Glob Grod then answered, "Alright, take us to Prismo."

Finn, Jake, PB and Pen arrived at the Land of Eee and saw the great differences to the other lands. It was roam by monsters. No sunlight can shine the land when the sky is filled with dark clouds.

"Oh. I think I made a mistake." Finn said. "We should have let Marceline come with us. She might like it here."

"Um, Finn." Jake taps his buddy's shoulder. He points at a glowing object just in front of them. "Is that the cube we are looking for?" And it is. Their search just made it easier for them.

PB confirms when she scanned it thoroughly. "This is it. Wow. Celestine really send us to the right place."

Finn opens his bag and went to take it. "Alright. Cube of Eee. Here, we go." Before he could take it, a dark tentacle grabbed his arm, preventing him for taking the cube. "What?"

He trailed the tentacle to a dark being standing in the shadows of the forest. Two red eyes glared to the four strangers of the realm. "What are you trying to do?"

Unexpectedly, Pen picks up his sword and attacks the person. But the creature launches its tendrils and grabbed the flaming boy. The dark figure asked them again, "Why are you after the cube? What do you want with it?"

PB tries to reason with it. "We are sent here to stop the Men of All Things."

Surprised when they mentioned that name, the figure steps out from the shadows, revealing her appearance. The four were surprised to see Land of Eee's version of Marceline. Finn is about to hurl, cannot take all of this alternate reality stuff. So is his buddy Jake. Finn comments, "PB, remember the time Ice King stole the cube."

"Yeah?"

"I'm going to blame him for it. He started this whole problem. Magic cubes. Alternate realities. A girl from beyond. It's too much for me." Then the flaming-haired boy came to Finn and patted his back. "There, there. It's okay. We can fix this."

Eee's Marceline talked to Princess Bubblegum. "I really missed that sweet face. How are you PB?"

The princess answered, not sure if this Marceline knows she's from another world. "I'm fine. How about you?"

"Well, I'm still tired of guarding the cubes. I remember you said that if something happens to you, I'll give it to your twin or counterpart or whatever that looks like you."

"She said that?" PB asked. "Wow. I'm really impressed with this princess of yours. She's prepared for anything. Um, yes. We are here for the two cubes."

The vampire girl pulls out the cube from her backpack and then picks up the other one that's on the ground. But then Finn noticed Marceline of Eee carries a backpack that looks exactly like his. "Where did you get that?"

"Oh, you gave it to me. I promised that I'll return it to you if you ever come back. Although, you are not him." The girl of the night looked at the ground, feeling sad. "You never came back after that battle at Iii. I really missed you guys."

"Yeah? Well, thanks for the cubes." Finn said kindly, holding the two powerful artifacts. Without any warning, he slams the two to each other like a rock. A cosmic level energy burst out after those cubes clash. Everyone around Finn were blown five meters away. Jake expands his body and caught both PB and Pen. "Are you guys, okay?"

PB did not answer him but she gets back up and scolded the boy. "Finn! Are you crazy? Why did you do that?"

"Oh. I thought our mission here is to retrieve the two."

"We are!"

"I still don't know why you are mad."

"You did not warn us that you are going to do that!"

When he heard her loud voice, he shut his mouth and nods, feeling ashamed. Finn apologizes. "I'm sorry. I did not mean it. At least, the two cubes are now one."

The princess sighed. "Just... give me the cube. We need to get back. Those monsters must be stop right now."

Marceline of Eee heard what she said and did not mind to ask. "Who are these monsters are you talking about?"

"The Men of All Things."

The vampire girl's eyes opened wide. Shocked to hear the news of the enemies' escape.

In the Nightosphere, the prisoners are in the PIT locked up in the cells. The wide ocean of lava surrounds the PIT and the only entrance and exit is the tunnel back to the Nightosphere. Prince Gumball, Marshall Lee, Cake and Hunson Abadeer of Ooo were hurt badly after that Cosmic Speaker opened its mouth. The prince looks around his cell, checking if there is another way to unlock the cage.

"It's no use." Hunson said. "There is only one person who can open these prison and that's me. I'm just a key locked itself inside a case. No way out."

"Is there anyway to destroy these?" Gumball asked.

"No." The demon replied. "These prison cells were made by the Cosmic Gods to contain these monsters. It's impossible for us to escape."

Then, Marshall saw something coming from the boiling magma. "Guys, I think I saw something moving at the lava."

Everyone turned to the direction where the vampire is looking. "Where?" Cake looks closely to the bright molten earth. "What did you see?"

"Over there!" The vampire points, showing them what he saw. It's an arm, waving at them. When they looked closely, they saw Flame Prince waving at them. "It's him! And he is with some kind of a girl." He just saw Flame Princess. The last time he saw her is when the Cosmic Speaker yelled the word, Fionna vanished and Flame Princess fell to the river of lava. She didn't get caught by the blast.

"Oh, thank the Glob! We're saved!" Prince Gumball expresses his relief.

"Shhh! Those monsters are still up there." Hunson said. "We should keep quiet."

Flame Prince and FP swims towards their place quietly. Even with the loud sound of boiling lava, they can still be heard by one of those monsters. That one will be the silent Fear Caster. When the two fire elementals came to the rescue, they power up their flame swords.

"It's no use!" Hunson said. "There is no way you could open these."

"Yes. We can." Flame Princess replied. "The prince and I know how to do it. But first..."

"What is it?" The demon asked but he can't wait to get out.

She then turns to the pink prince. "Why are you guys here in the first place?"

Immediately, Gumball answered, "Um, we came here to stop you."

"That's not it. I want to know why you guys came to this world."

Gumball did not respond. He just nodded like he can't tell her.

But the vampire king told her everything she needed. "In our world, the Lich Queen stole the cube and she used it to destroy every living thing in our world. We failed to stop her and our home was wiped out from existence. All people, plants, animals, no matter how big and small, weak or powerful... everyone and everything were killed by the Lich Queen."

"How did you survived?"

"An entity named Prismo the Wish Master, saved us from our world's destruction. He gave us another chance to stop the Lich Queen by making a wish."

"But I won't allow it." Prince Gumball finally spoke.

"Why?" Flame Princess asked.

"Even if our wish worked, we are just delaying our world's end. It feels like it was meant to be. We can't change the past. What's done is done."

"So what did you guys do?"

"We fought the Lich Queen once again. With that cube, she can do anything she wants. She is a threat to the Multiverse. So we did what we have to do."

Flame Prince continues their story. "We fought the Lich Queen and successfully defeated her. However, the cube somehow opens a portal that pulled all of us in. The next thing we know is that we landed on the ground and met these people who looked like them." He points at Marshall, Gumball and Cake.

"Alright." Flame Princess had heard enough. Their story sounds pretty crazy but enough to understand their reasons. She turns to her counterpart, giving him a signal. The prince nods at her. Both of them sparked their flame swords.

"What are you guys going to do?" Hunson asked.

FP made a loud cry of rage and swings her sword to the Flame Prince. Same goes to the prince, he did what she did. Their swords clashed and caused a powerful spark. All of the locks in the cell opened and released Marshall, Gumball, Cake and Hunson.

"Now, that you are all out. You are going to help me."

"Yes. All of them are a threat to the Multiverse." Gumball said.

"Finally!" Marshall flexes his arms and cleans up his shirt. "It's payback time!"
