The Mother's Smile

Finn, along with Jake and Pen, waited outside Eee's version of his tree house while the girls are discussing their next move. PB told Marceline of Eee everything that happened to them and the monsters' sudden escape. "So this girl from beyond is the mother of those criminals? And she came here to take them back?"

"Yes." PB answered. "But she can't defeat her sons without these cubes. It's her strength. Her power."

Marceline thinks about it. "If you are going to face them, you need an army."

"Do you have one?" The princess doesn't believe her until she sees it.

"Yep! Just reached one hundred thousand today!" The vampire girl flew to the window and looked at the spot where Finn, Jake and Pen are standing. The human saw her and waved. "Hey!" Marceline just ignores him and pulls out her guitar. She played her music that echoed all over the land.

Princess Bubblegum watched the vampire performing her piece but then felt a powerful earthquake.

The ground shook and changed its color from green to dead mud brown. Finn felt something is about to pop out beneath his feet. He immediately moved back and there he saw a skeletal arm punched through. "Whoa!" Jake jumps on top of Finn's head. When he felt danger, Pen blasted the arm with his flames, protecting Finn, Jake and himself.

However, the arm did not get burned. Then, another one popped out behind Pen and then another one. They are emerging from the dead ground. Bubblegum was surprised to see dead creatures rose up from the ground like the world is a big cemetery. "Marceline, how did you get this kind of power?"

"After that war against those monsters, I can bring back my fallen friends and used them against invaders."

Finn and Pen stand close to each other and watched the dead marching towards the tree house and hail their leader. Jake shrinks himself and hid inside Finn's backpack. "I see dead people."

"We see them too." Pen said.

Marceline turned to the pink princess and smiled, "What do you think? Is this enough to defeat those monsters?"

PB watched billions of dead people, big or small, marching to battle formations and raised their voices and chanting the vampire's name. The princess thinks it's a bad idea to bring these dead army to her world but they are going to face the Men of All Things and they need more people to sop them. "Okay. We will bring your army to battle. But I can only bring a thousand to the Land of Ooo."

"But with these two cubes, we can bring a million!"

"It's like transporting a whole nation. I don't know if these cubes can do it."

"I promise you. It will." Marceline grinned.

Light Eater, Shadow Walker and Realm Bender has defeated a lot of Martians and still they want some more. The cosmic entity Death knows well that he can't defeat them alone. The best way to do now is to retreat. "You have won this battle. But I'll return with a large army."

"We'll be waiting." Shadow Walker replied, letting the entity disappear.

"So, what's next?" Realm Bender asked his fellow brothers. "We defeated Grob Gob Glob Grod and his martian buddies. Are we going back?"

But then Light Eater felt something familiar around them. He looked at those defeated Martians lying on the dirt. "Guys, there's a piece of the cube here. A sixth piece."

"That's impossible! They told us they break the cube into five pieces." Shadow Walker recalls that time. It was Hunson Abadeer of Ooo who said it.

"Maybe he lied. He's a demon, right? They are all liars."

"Alright!" Realm Bender gives them a new objective. "Find the sixth cube quickly before something arrives. Spread out." The three monsters started searching like chickens looking for food on the dirt.

"Wait. Why are we on a hurry?" Light Eater asked.

"Someone's coming, brother." He answered.

At a far away island, a ball of flames popped out from the ocean floor and landed to the large island. FP and Flame Prince opens up the flames and checked if everyone are okay. Prince Gumball shows a thumbs-up.

"Aaarrrgghh! The sun!" Marshall screamed in pain. Immediately, Cake forms into an umbrella for the vampire. "Here you go."

"Thank you." Marshall was grateful to the cat for saving him.

"Alright. What's the plan, princess?" Gumball asked, looking around the place.

FP instructed them. "First, we must check the perimeter. Hunson, go and fly around this island."

Hunson transforms into his demon form and flew.

"Cake, can you transform into a boat?"

"I can try. But Marshall needs me right now. We should do this at night."

Flame Princess disapproves. "No! We should do this right now. We must go to the Candy Kingdom and meet up with your friends Fionna and Ice Queen."

"You have to understand, princess! Marshall has very sensitive skin. One touch of light turns his skin into red and creates disgusting boils. Do you want to see that?"

"But we really need to get there right now!"

Then Hunson came back after scouting around the area. "Guys, I found someone who can help us."

"Who?" Flame Princess asked.

The demon answered, "We are standing on her right now." He points at the ground. The loud voice was heard, speaking to them. "Hello, there." The island spoke to them. Hunson carried everyone and took them up to see the whole image of the island. Above, they saw the face, arms and the legs.

"I heard you need to get back to your place. The Candy Kingdom, right? I can help you with that." The Island Lady smiled, offering her help.

"Sure." Gumball smiled back. "But how are you going to do that?"

"Just go to my right hand."

Hunson takes everyone to a hand-shaped ground. The prince then asked, "And what's next?"

"Hang on." The Island Lady lifts her arm, carrying everyone on it and then threw them to the direction where the Candy Kingdom is. "WHOOOAAA!" Marshall and Hunson enjoyed the ride as they were thrown by the island. "This is fun!" Hunson commented.

But it is not fun for FP, Flame Prince, Gumball and Cake.

Fire Runner and World Master almost finished reforming the realm of the Nightosphere. But after an hour of working, their brother Fear Caster did not help them or even moved a muscle. He just stands on one place, watching the surroundings.

"He is doing that again." World Master said. "He just watches. That's all he do."

"Ignore him, brother. You have to remember. He's the strongest among us. Our younger brother." Fire Runner replied. "Without him, we couldn't survive the bomb those Cosmic Gods made."

"Oh, alright. But he should help us over here."

"Forget him. He is thinking something. After feeling mother's presence, he starts to formulate a plan for us."

World Master thinks it is unfair that the eldest are doing the hard work while the youngest just do nothing. "Well, I hope he has a better plan now. I'm dying to hear it."

Then Fear Caster began to move. His pale faceless head turns to his two brothers. They don't know if he is looking at them or he felt something different.

"What is it, Fear Caster?" Fire Runner asked.

The faceless creature raised his finger and points the direction to the PIT entrance. Immediately, Fire Runner and World Master ran towards the PIT to check it out. When they arrived, the cells were all opened. "Darn it! How did they get out?"

But before they can think about how, a bright light flashes in front of them, blinding their sight. Four people came out from the light and steps in their dimension. When the light disappeared, World Master and Fire Runner recognized one face that they feared the most. "Oh, no..."

"My children! Oh, I missed you!" Celestine raised her arms, hoping to get a hug from her beloved sons. She smiled like an innocent child however, her smile brings fear to the two creatures. Marceline, Bonny and Hunson of Eee prepared themselves for a fight. Celestine turned to them. "I can take care of them."

World Master reacted first before his brother. He slams his hand to the ground and caused it to quake. Celestine jumps right in towards her sons, making an attack. Then the ground crumbled and sank to the sea of lava. Hunson and Marceline transformed to their monster state and flew up. Marceline carries the pink princess in an instant. "Here goes the fighting. What are we going to do now, Bonny?"

Bonny faced the demon Hunson. "Take us back to the surface!" Marceline's father from an alternate world immediately creates a portal for their escape.

Marceline looked back and saw Celestine engaging a power combat against her two sons. "Is it okay to leave her like that?"

"Yes. She told us that she can do it alone, buying us some time." Bonny answered. "We should go find your other friends like Ice King, Flame Princess or LSP. They might help us."

"Alright. I just hope this plan works." The three flew in to the portal back to the surface, however, the creature Fear Caster spotted them. Even without a face, an evil grin slightly appears.
