Tomorrow's Change

On Mars, the three brothers searches for the sixth piece of the cube on the crimson soil of the red planet. Every bit of the dust, they searched. Every dune they traveled, they can't find it. But they can feel its presence nearby. "Where is it?" Realm Bender shouts in frustration. "I can't do this anymore!"

"But we need it, brother. We need it for defeating mother." Light Eater said, he can still feel her energy when she steps foot on the Land of Ooo. "We have to stop her before she destroys this realm."

Shadow Walker also said, "And after we defeat her, this world will be ours and ours alone!"

"YEAH!" Light Eater agrees with him.

Back on Earth, World Master used his power of the elements to pull that ridiculously giant dagger off him through magnetism. He pulled it out quick and endures the pain. He knows where his mother was going but then we wonders where his brother Fire Runner went. "Where is my backup, brother?"

Unbeknownst to him, his fast running brother was a coward. He has no stomach to face his mother and so he ditched him. He doesn't want to see her again. If she ever come, he's dead.

World Master limps away from the battleground but he knew he can reach to the Candy Kingdom in time, he used the winds to lift him up and fly. "I'm going to end this, brothers. I'm going to end her right here right now." As he levitates towards the kingdom, he raised his arms reaching something big. "I'm going to crush her!"

On Mars, Realm Bender felt something. "Guys? Did you feel that?"

"What is it, brother?" Light Eater responded while searching for the sixth piece.

"It feels like... the planet is moving."

Once Celestine approaches the dungeon, three of her children will start to fight. Well, that's what she was thinking right now when she arrived there. Sadly, she was wrong. The dungeons were empty and there was no sign of her children. The only thing she see is a cold slippery floor. "Where could my boys be?"

"Right here!" Storm Hiker lands a powerful kick towards her. Then Cosmic Speaker yelled loudly sending powerful sonic blast to her. Dome Maker uses his force-fields to protect his brothers and himself from the powerful yell.

The girl from beyond smiled. She has never seen her children like this. They are trying their best to defeat her, even knowing that she's invincible. If the cube is whole, she will be completely immune to all powerful forces that they throw at her. Her son's powerful scream moved her a little, just an inch. And she can still feel the kick from Storm Hiker. She can feel his lightning surging through her veins but not so critical. "Oh, look at my boys. They are working so hard to defeat me."

The three keeps on going, giving a lot of powerful attacks. But they can't hurt her, it's just giving her excitement. A thrilling sensation. She knows she can defeat them with just a snap of her fingers. Although, she wanted to play with them for a while. "Let's go somewhere, boys. Somewhere where we can have fun." With a snap of her finger, the whole Candy Kingdom transformed into a Coliseum. It's so collosal that the birds crashed to its walls.

Now she gave her children armors and weapons for the battle. "Now, let's fight."

Elsewhere, Finn wakes up and still strapped on the bed to prevent him from escaping or hurting himself. He tries to move his body, hoping her could get out.

"It's no use." As he heard that voice, Finn turns and saw a man standing at the corner. When the boy saw him, he steps out from the shadows. "Hello, Finn."

"How? How did you know my name? Who are you?"

The man takes a seat and answer him directly. "I'm you."

Now everything becomes weird. But he must remain calm. If he wants answers, just ask the man with golden hair and beard. "Okay. Um... who... I mean, where am I? If you are me, then this might be Ooo."

"No. It's not. Not anymore by the way." He fixes his round glasses as he answered the boy. "If you want to know where you are, I'll tell you what happened." Finn did not respond, he just listened. "One thousand years ago, the Mushroom War was averted by a man named Simon Petrikov. He obtained a magical crown that gave him powers beyond imagination. He then became a savior to mankind. He destroyed all of the warheads from other nations and brought peace to this world by removing all technology of war. The world is back to lamps and wagons. However, his efforts just makes it worse. He made enemies that are so powerful even he can't do it alone. Fortunately, he had his wife Betty to help him and..."

"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Wait just a minute..." Finn interrupts, stopping the story. "Can you skip to the important parts, please? What happened to Ooo? Jake? Princess Bubblegum? Flame Princess?"

"Alright." The older Finn gave him a few details of history. "The Mushroom War was averted. Simon became a hero. The world is at peace. Technology is gone. One thousand years later, technology is back and that is why it looked like a modern day scene. And then a news about dark creatures roaming the streets who are hiding in the shadows and snatching innocent people. We believe there are vampires living among us. Then there's is Martian Invasion. But the human totally won that fight."

"Vampires? Martian Invasion? How about the Candy Kingdom? Fire Kingdom? My treehouse?"

"They never exist."

Finn starts to wonder how the older Him knew everything about Ooo. Indeed, it's very suspicious. "How did you know everything about Ooo? How do you know about this Mushroom War when you were never born yet?"

The older Finn nods, remembering the sad moments. "I saved the future. In order to save everyone, I have to change the past."

"What happened?"

"It was the Lich. He came back and wiped us in one day. Many of my friends were perished and the only ones left is me and Marceline." The older Finn continues as he tried to hold back his emotions. "We found PB's time machine and went back in time to fix everything. We tried to wipe the Lich out from existence. To do so, we came to Simon and told him everything. We told him to destroy all technology so that the Mushroom War will be prevented and the Lich will never be born. And so he did his job. But when we did it, we realize that the Mushroom War also caused the creation of Princess Bubblegum, Jake, the Candy people and other creatures. When it was prevented, she did not exist in this world. We sacrificed our friend's existence in order to save the world. Both of us are "

After that, Finn can't say if his happy or sad about the story or believing all of it. "Thanks for telling me the whole story, man. But still, I don't trust you."

"Here's the proof." The man shows Finn his right hand and reveals its steel skin with wires in his fingers. "I lost it during that Cosmic Lich War! I remember everything that happened! I remember my friends who perished in that dreadful war! Is that enough for you?"

"Chill, bro! I'm just new here."

The older Finn apologizes, "I'm sorry. I did not mean that. It's just... I missed them so much." He sobbed. Finn wanted to know what happened next. "So what happened to Marceline after you guys changed the past?"

"We went back to the future and saw the world has changed a lot. We live in an apartment just across the street."

"So you and Marceline are... together?"

"Kinda... yeah."

Finn feels awkward thinking about Marceline as his girlfriend. "Um... okay."

The older Finn wipes out his tears and stands up. "Alright. I'm sorry about this, kid. I did not tell you that this is not your body."

"What?" Finn was confused for a while. "What do you mean?" Then his older Self gave him a mirror and shows him his face. It was not his. It's some kid with brown hair and green eyes. Not handsome like Finn. "How?"

"I'll explain everything." He picks up a small device from his pocket and placed it on Finn's head. "Relax for the meantime." He turns on the device and the boy lies down and went to sleep.

The Cosmic Gods prepared their army of powerful beings that are willing to help to stop the Nine Creatures and their Mother Almighty. Former president Abe Lincoln suits up and so are his friends to face these enemies. Prismo however cannot leave the Time Room but he will serve as a support for the team.

"What's the situation at Ooo?" Abe asked the Cosmic Owl.

"It's not good. That woman from beyond faces her three children in an arena. It looks bad. And..."

"And what?"

The owl was shocked to see a large red object heading towards Ooo.

Back at Ooo, the arena turned into a war zone. The Cosmic Speaker broke his jaw, Storm Hiker lost his legs and then Dome Maker took a huge beating. Celestine remained clean and perfect without any scratch. No sweat at all. "Are you all done?" Dome Maker slowly gets up but he could barely stand. "No. It's not over." He then looks up at the sky and watches the sun being blocked by a large object right above the arena. Celestine turns around and saw her son World Master brought something big to the battleground. She was impressed to see his full power. "That's cute."

World Master shouts in rage. "So this is cute for you?" That creature brought the planet Mars to the Land of Ooo. "I'm going to crush you with this, mother!" He brings the red planet down to the arena to crush the girl from beyond.

Celestine just raised her hand and when she touches the soil of Mars, she then crushed the planet like a biscuit.

Her three sons Realm Bender, Light Eater and Shadow Walker, who were at Mars fell back to Ooo, landing to a dead forest. Seven of her children are here with her. Now it is time for their punishment for stealing her precious jewel. "Oh, boy." Realm Bender said when he saw Celestine charging up.

The large pieces of the red planet scattered all over Ooo and some drifts away to space. These people have caused a lot of damage in the multiverse even the Cosmic Gods can't fix it easily. They are a threat to the entire existence. Cosmic Owl feared the future as he saw only two possible outcomes.

The Men of All Things will win and rule what was left of the multiverse.

And the second is the girl from beyond will win and reshape the multiverse.

There is no other way. He can't tell the others about what he saw. If he tell them, the Men of All Things will win. If not, the girl from beyond will. The Cosmic Owl cannot see another alternative. He doesn't know what to do to avert it. The only thing he can do now is watch.

Abe Lincoln stopped the army at the same place where Mars was supposed to be before it was pulled away from its orbit. "Now we will wait here until we find an opening." As the army waits, the Cosmic Owl just watches the grand cosmic event.

Finn woke up in a cave with a large load of technology displayed around. He got up and looked around. He's vision were still blurry. "Where am I?"

The old Finn answered, "This is a bat cave." He pointed at the ceiling where bats are hanging around, sleeping. "Don't worry about their droppings. I trianed them where to leave them."

"Awesome." Then Finn felt a cold presence nearby and he knew who was it. "Marceline?"

"What's up, kid Finn?" Marceline popped out, removing her invisiblity. She's still same, young and pretty. However, her smile looked innocent and full of delight. "Look at you! You are so cute!" She pinching Finn's cheeks. Her personality really changed. "I forgot how cute you were, Finn." She said to the older one.

Older Finn chuckled. "Yes. I am."

Finn then asked them. "So guys, how are you going to send me back?"

The two people looked at each other, thinking about helping him. Older Finn said, "We can't send you back but if we can, everything we did here will disappear."

"What do you mean?" Finn was a little confused.

Marceline showed the boy a map of the current timeline. "See here. This is the timeline. Just a straight line. But this time, the timeline has changed turning into a 'Z'-like form. That means we created a new timeline."

Finn doesn't really get it but he wants them to continue their explanation. "Go on."

"You were here." She pointed at the starting point of the timeline. "And now, we are here." She pointed at the bottom line, in the new timeline. "Get it?"

Finn finally understands. He's in the future. The altered future of Ooo. "But I need to get back."

"Why?" Older Finn asked. "Why do you really want to go back? Do you like to be here with us?"

"What? No!" Finn reasoned with them. "I need to get back because of my friends are in danger."

Marceline whispered to Older Finn. "It must be the time when he faced the Lich King. We should send him back."

Finn heard what she said. "It's not the Lich King! It's the alternate version of us and Men of All Things! They are attacking the Land of Ooo!"

"Men of All Things?" Older Finn and Marceline have no idea what those people were. "Who are they?"

"You don't know them? They are the ones who destroyed an alternate world and-." Then Finn realized something. "You don't remember them. That means... someone wiped them out from existence using the Cube!"

Now the two were confused. "What Cube?" Older Finn asked.

"So the Cube was wiped out too."

Marceline grabbed te kid and shook him. "Kid! We have no idea of this cube! There is no file that proves its existence."

Finn smiled, "That's because someone erased them from existence. It's like Prismo's powers."

After hearing the cosmic being's name, Older Finn snapped his fingers. "That's it! We can send you back through Prismo's Time Room."

Finn knows who Prismo is. "Alright. How can we enter his Time Room?"

"To that backdoor." Marceline pointed at the orange door at the back of the cave.

Ice King began to realize something. Since the day he stole the cube, the old man remembered what he wished for. "Um, guys, I have something important to say to you." Everyone looked at him except Bonny who was waiting for the device to download all the memories inside Fear Caster.

"What is it?" Fionna asked.

"Um... it's about the wish I made." Simon said with an awkward smile.

"What wish?" Prince Gumball wondered. "Did you do something about this?"

"Um..." The Ice King felt embarrass telling it in front of them. "... well, do you know I write fan fiction?"
