"Ughhh…Yang…that damn…alarm…" Weiss said groggily, she looks over and see that Yang was still knocked out with Blake in her arms. Weiss let out a long sigh and walked over to turn off the alarm. The time was 10am.
"Maybe I can visit Ruby." Just the thought made Weiss smile. She gave herself 30 minutes to get ready and made her way to Ruby's hospital room.
Just as Weiss was about to open Ruby's door when she heard voices inside.
"Well Miss. Rose you can discharged tomorrow, but I must warn you not do anything excessive. You're still in the process of healing, don't want to open those wounds."
"Thanks Doc, for everything." Replied Ruby. The news of hearing that Ruby was being discharged tomorrow made Weiss's grin even wider.
"My pleasure, Miss. Rose, but I do have this one concern about those…nightmares." Weiss's eyes widen and put her ear closer onto the door.
The doctor continued, "Miss. Rose I sorry to say that those nightmares are not something I can cure. They could be a result from PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), I'm not entirely sure. I could prescribe some type of sleep aid to help you but that's the most I could do. I am very sorry." There was no reply from Ruby.
"Is there anything else I could do for you?" asked the doctor.
"Uhm, yeah…could you not tell any of my other teammates. I would really appreciate it."
"Of course . I will be on my way now." Weiss heard footsteps coming towards the door and she quickly hid behind a nearby corner. She looked over to make sure the coast was clear so that Ruby wouldn't be suspicious. Weiss made her way inside Ruby's room. She saw Ruby with a book in her hands, intently reading that she didn't even notice Weiss came in. Weiss smiled and walked over to Ruby's bedside.
"Hey you." Weiss greeted, kissing Ruby's cheek. Ruby jumped a little, and looked up.
"Oh wow Weiss, you're becoming more like Blake! So ninja like." Ruby jokingly said smiling at her girlfriend.
"You dunce," Weiss laughed, "You were so focused on that book that you didn't even notice me coming in. What are you reading anyways?" Weiss eye balled the book.
"Blake gave it to me, but I think it's the wrong one. It's called Ninjas of Love." Ruby's face turned red and so did Weiss's. Team RWBY knew of Blake's favorite book, they just didn't know anything about the plot line of it…until now that is.
"Uhm…why didn't you return it to her?"
"Well it got….interesting." Ruby replied sheepishly, rubbing the back of her neck.
"Interesting?" Ruby didn't want to continue on their current conversation. She quickly grabbed Weiss by the waist and swung her over onto her bed. Ruby blocked out her girlfriend's protests on why that was a stupid move yada yada yada, and silenced her by putting her lips onto to Weiss's. This was the most effective way to shut up Weiss Schnee.
"Oh I get discharge tomorrow." Ruby said breaking them apart. Weiss adjusted her position so that her body was protectively under Ruby's arm.
"Really? I thought it wouldn't be till later this week?"
"Ouch, so do you want me to stay in this dreadful place!?" joked Ruby. Weiss light smacked Ruby's face.
"You dolt, of course not! I miss you in bed." Weiss said with a pout. If there's one thing Ruby couldn't resist, it was Weiss's pout. A rare sighting indeed and only shown to Ruby alone currently.
"You miss me bed?" Ruby said with a smirk. Once again, Weiss smacked Ruby in the face slightly harder this time.
"You're a dork you know that." Weiss said, going in close towards Ruby.
"But I'm you dork." Replied back Ruby. It was almost late at night when Weiss had to go. She promised Ruby that she and the gang will pick her up when she discharges.
Later that night, Ruby abruptly awakens. Her face covered in cold sweat, and her fingers are trembling. She props herself up on the bed, and pinches the bridge of her nose.
"Another nightmare…but they're getting worse." Ruby looks onto the night outside her window. Little did she know that someone was watching her several buildings over.
"Soon, Ruby Rose, soon." Said the figure. They disappear towards the dark forest.
"Dark forest" what a great way to end a chapter haha AmI right? I didn't edit this one yet (too much school work to be done -_- ), but I will next time! So please excuse any misspellings or grammar mistakes. And if you do find any, please let me know!
