Ruby was having another nightmare. This time it involved a woman, with flames surrounding her. Her outfit looked like they were made of flames themselves.

"Who are you?" asked dream Ruby. The woman approached her. Ruby could feel her surroundings getting warmer and warmer as the woman took each step closer to her. She felt the sweat fall on her face.

"This isn't real. You're not real. I'm dreaming." Dream Ruby started to panic and turned and ran. Just as she thought she was away, she collided with the woman. Falling her onto her butt, Dream Ruby tried to scramble away, but was stricken with fear. The woman approach Dream Ruby once more. She got close enough to bend down, and have no less than an inch between her's and Dream Ruby's faces. Dream Ruby was frozen with fear.

"This is a dream…just a horrible dream." Dream Ruby reminded herself, praying that she would wake up soon.

"Oh dear Ruby, it's only a dream…for now." Said the woman, a smirk forming onto her face. She started to caress Dream Ruby's face, the smirk still there. Dream Ruby felt a chill go down her spine.

"What do you mean "for now"?" Dream Ruby asked. The woman stood up and started to walk away. Dream Ruby quickly got up also.

"You'll find out soon my dear. Give Weiss my regards." The woman turned once more to face Dream Ruby. She held out her hand, which started to form a fireball. Dream Ruby's eyes shut, as she was impacted by the fireball…..

Ruby jolted from her bed. Cold sweat was running down her face. She looked around to check her surroundings. She was in her bunk in team RWBY's dorm. She felt safe again.

Ruby let out a deep sigh, "Only a dream…" she whispered to herself. Ruby checked the rest of the room to make sure she had not wakened anyone else. She saw Blake in Yang's bed, both of them in each other's arms. The sight made Ruby smile. Then Ruby checked the sleeping heiress below her. Weiss's back was facing Ruby so she could not see her face, though she did see Weiss's body move up and down rhythmatic way. Lastly, Ruby checked the time. The clock read 2:30 am.

"I guess I should clear my head for bit." Ruby quietly got out from her bed and grabbed her cloak. She makes her way to the door, but then pauses. She walks back to Weiss's bed a gives a gentle kiss to the sleeping heiress.

"I love you." Whispered Ruby, and made her exit, closing the door quietly behind her. Ruby made her way down several hallways and up a couple flights of stairs until she reached the rooftop of her beloved Beacon Academy. She stood near the edge and closed her eyes. The wind flowing through her black and red hair relaxed her for a bit. She opens her eyes and starts to think about her nightmare.

"…give Weiss my regards…" she couldn't stop thinking about that one line. A thousand questions went through Ruby's head, most of them concerning Weiss and her friends.

"Ruby?" Ruby quickly turned around to see whoever said her name. She was so deep in thought she didn't even notice the door open.

"Weiss," Ruby let out a sigh of relief, "what are you doing here?"

"I could ask you the same thing." Weiss walked over to Ruby's side. She noticed how closely Ruby was to edge, and started to get fearful. She gently tugged on Ruby's cloak to get her to come a little away from the edge. Ruby complied and stood face to face with Weiss. Ruby could sense something was wrong with Weiss. She was sad again. Was it because of her? Weiss could see Ruby's expression change from happy to sad; she could tell that Ruby was trying to figure out Weiss.

"Weiss I-" Ruby didn't get to finish her sentence. Weiss connected their lips together. It was a sad kiss from Weiss and Ruby could tell. It like when they kissed, Ruby could feel all the emotions Weiss has been feeling for the past couple days. Saddness. Anger. Relief. Pain. All those, felt in one single kiss. It made Ruby feel ashamed. Weiss didn't deserve her, she could do better than Ruby. Way better. Ruby pulled back a little. This surprised Weiss, and the separated. Weiss looked at the young girl in front of her with concern and confusion.

"Ruby, is something wrong?" Of course Weiss knew the answer to that question, but she wanted to hear it from Ruby. Ruby down casted her eyes, not willing to look at Weiss.

"Weiss, I'm nothing but a burden to you. I don't know why you're still with me." Ruby replied, trying to hold in her tears. Weiss could not believe what she just heard.

"Ruby I told you before and I'll keep telling you, you're not a burden to me or anyone." Weiss quickly said. She takes Ruby's hand into her own, but Ruby quickly tears her hand out. Weiss's eyes widen with shock, and tears start to form in her eyes.

"Ruby…" Ruby looks a Weiss dead in the eyes. It pained her to see Weiss's eyes filled with so much pain, so much sadness.

"You're only going to get hurt in the end. Either by me or someone else…" Now the tears started falling from Weiss's eyes.

"Ruby…no you…" Weiss couldn't say much. What could she say? Just a few moments ago, she heard Ruby whisper "I love you" before she left the dorm. Now she's hearing this.

"Goodbye Weiss." And with that Ruby turned around, and went back into the building. Weiss collapsed onto her knees and continued to cry.

Ruby made it to at least a foot away from the rooftop door entrance, she leaned against the wall for support, still in shocked in what she had just done. Ruby covered her mouth preventing her from making any sounds as she started to cry also.

"Weiss…please forgive me. I'm so sorry. I love you." Ruby thought to herself as she continued slowly back to her dorm. When she finally made it, she quickly started to gather most of necessary things she need to leave with. She quickly wrote Yang a note, and left it near her sister's Ember Celica. Ruby once again, looked at her sister and a sleeping Blake, and smiled. She made her way to door and was about to leave when something caught her attention at the corner of her eye. Ruby made her way to Weiss's desk and saw an arrow impaling the desk.

"Weiss is gonna be so pissed when she finds this." Ruby joked to herself, and then she noticed a small note attached to the arrow.

"Nothing is gain without loss. You want to know everything? Then leave everything behind. Go to the forbidden forest. Make sure you are not followed. Keep in mind we are watching everything you do and everyone you know so it would be wise to follow our instructions. We will meet soon Ruby Rose. – C" Ruby looked around her to make sure no one was around or awake. She quickly picked up her things, and made her way to the forest.

"She's on her way Cinder." Roman said, as he watched Ruby, leave Beacon Academy and made her way to the forbidden forest.

"I'll be waiting…Ruby Rose." Cinder said.
