Chapter 9
Feliciano skipped down the hotel hallway feeling much lighter and happier than he had felt in days. He had just returned from visiting Alfred and was emotional drained but overall very happy.
'He's forgiven me! He's not mad at me!' he thought giddily to himself.
Beside him, Lilli was holding his hand. She was smiling and laughing at his obvious signs of happiness. And she wasn't complaining about him tugging at her hand. He supposed because she was smiling and cheerful, something she hadn't been in a while.
Their bright attitudes were out of place in the abnormally gloomy hotel atmosphere. It was as if America's rejection for forgiveness to everyone had put a dismal cloud over the whole hotel. And, Feliciano felt out of place for being too happy.
The lobby was virtually empty saved for a front-desk receptionist, who looked rather bored. All the other nations were at an upstairs conference room. The UN had insisted that they use the hotel's conference room, instead of theirs. They wanted to give them some time alone.
"Do you want to go the conference room?" he asked Lilli, looking down at the younger nation.
Lilli nodded a smile still lighting up her face.
The pair made their way to the elevator and a thought had occurred to Feliciano.
'If America was so open to forgiving me and Lilli, would he be ready to forgive everyone else?' he wondered.

After the crying and long periods of soothing noises, the trio finally pulled away.
"Guys, I think we can stop crying," Alfred said laughing, wiping away tears that had begun to fall. "I've had enough tears for a lifetime."
Feliciano and Lilli laughed wiping away their tears. Lilli, who had begun hiccuping, took the glass of water offered to her by the American.
"You really forgive us, Mr. America?" the young nation asked still shocked.
"Yes, Lilli," America said smoothing the young girl's hair. "You two didn't fully understand. You did say or do," his voice broke, "what they did."
After he said that, he looked up at Feliciano his eyes dead seat. It was like he was trying to convey a message to him. It was almost as if he was saying to him, "Take care of her. She's way too young to hear or see about this stuff. And, Vash would kill me if I corrupted her emotions."
And in an unexpected gesture, Alfred took Feliciano's hand. The two's eyes met again and Lilli embraced Alfred.
"Mi dispiace," he whispered hoarsely to the American. "Mi perdoni davvero?"
"Sí," America said giving a small smile. "Faccio."

The atmosphere was bleak. And that was an understatement. Lilli knew it.
When they entered the conference room it was quiet, way too quiet for a meeting. Lili was used to loud arguments, snarky remarks, the occasional bits of screaming, and someone close to dying during meetings. It scared her to think that the normally chaotic atmosphere was gone.
Germany looked up from the head of the table. He looked tired and ready to fall on the floor. There were dark circles under his eyes. His blonde hair wasn't gelled back per usual. And he didn't seem to be directed the meeting.
In fact, it seemed that there really wasn't a meeting. No one was bothering to present anything.
"Ve-Germany, are you okay?" Italy asked cautiously.
"I'm fine Italy," the German replied. "Just a bit… shell-shocked."
Lilli understood nodding. What happened to America had shocked everyone. Kiku looked miserable not even trying to read a new manga or catch up on some anime. Francis' hair was frizzy and looked like he and his pillow had gotten into a fight, which he lost. In addition to this he had a bottle of wine opened and no glass in sight.
It never ended well when France drank wine without a glass.
What concerned her more was that, England wasn't even there.
"Where were you two?" Finland asked trying to lighten the mood. "It is such a nice day and it would be a shame to be stuck inside all day."
"We visited America," Feli said brightly.
The reaction was instaneous.
"What did he say, aru?"
"He allowed you to stay?
"Wha-wah…how? Why?
Lilli nudged Feli slightly. He wasn't supposed to say that…or well not in that way at least. America had encouraged them to invite select nations to visit him, not the whole world (or well most of the world).
"Hehe, I wasn't supposed to say that was I?" Feli laughed nervously.

AN: Short chapter I know but I had to put something up! Anyways, I'm back and it's spring break! So expect some more updates soon. So Alfred about now should be getting a deluge of nation 'bout now.
And in other news, I'll be doing my disclaimers in languages besides English because I really don't feel like typing...well you know.
Also big shout out to my Filipino readers. I got a huge number of you guys checking out my last chapter and I'm so happy about that!
