Digi World:

Taichi Kamiya and his partner Agumon wait behind a boulder for Matt, Joe, and Izzy to draw Etemon out of the Pyramid, for the plan to work they had to remain unseen. Thanks to Jaden Tai did in fact know how to slip in and out of places unnoticed. Tai never noticed that he was actually using umbra kinesis when he did this but Jaden had sensed the power within his friend; Jaden had made sure to use small games and other little tricks to teach his best friend how to use his powers all the better.

When Etemon comes out and starts chasing the duos of Friendship, Reliability and Knowledge the duo of Courage dart inside the upside down pyramid easily slipping past the Gazimon patrolling the corridors. Tai was using his digivice to track Sora's. When he came to one of the firewalls Tai pauses for a moment before his eyes harden and he steps forward, his Crest of Courage glowing a brilliant orange. Tai makes silent but steady time towards the duo of Love. He knew that everyone was counting on him to get this done and he was not going to let them down.

Outside Selena curses when Etemon starts heading back towards the pyramid, " We're up, we cannot let him go back into that pyramid. "

" You two catch up. " KendoGarurumon says and speeds forward, just missing Etemon with his Howling Star attack.

" Execute… Beast Spirit Evolution! Ahhhhhhh! " Selena and Davis call out together.

" Yêshòumon! The Beastly Lord of Earth. "

" Nǚhuǒyànshòumon! The Beastly Princess of Flames! "

The two beasts slam into Etemon just as he was about to unleash his Concert Crush attack on KendoGarurumon, " Wildfire Tsunami! "

" Tectonic Slam! "

" Lupine Laser. " KendoGarurumon snaps off his attack and changes positions quickly while Yêshòumon dives underground. Nǚhuǒyànshòumon snarls at Etemon before she decides to get serious.

Inside Tai has just found Sora and Biyomon, though he makes sure to stay hidden from Datamon, he had to do this just right. He'd never hear the end of it from Selena if the eight year old had to come save his ass while he was rescuing Sora. Keeping to the shadows, Tai had motioned for Agumon to stay put, Tai manages to grab the Crest of Love now in its tag slinking back into the shadows before Datamon can notice. It was when Datamon noticed the missing crest that Tai sprung forward and frees Sora from where she was strapped down, giving her, her crest and tag that he had liberated. Agumon quickly springs Biyomon from her shackles as well with a perfectly executed jump.

" He still has my digivice, Tai. " Sora says.

" Agumon digivolve to… Greymon! "

Outside the others are still holding Etemon off, " Howling Blaster! "

" Harpoon Torpedo! "

" Electro Shocker! "

" Pyro Barrage! "

" Rockslide Howl! "

" Howling Star! "

Etemon has to jump up to avoid all of those attacks and is promptly hit by two attacks perfectly timed, " Hand Of Fate! "

" Hurricane Wave! "

Etemon slams into the ground leaving an impact crater which has him falling straight into the room with the confrontation between Tai, Sora, their partners and Datamon going down. Tai curses even as Angemon flies in and smacks Etemon with his Angel Rod. Tai races forward and nails Datamon with an aerial spin kick that sends Sora's digivice her way, the red headed girl catches it and it glows immediately, " Biyomon digivolve to… Birdramon. "

Angemon grabs Tai while Sora grabs on to her partner. The children start to celebrate until the space around them starts warping, Etemon rises up then wrapped up in what remained of his Dark Network, Datamon had done a kamikaze move only for Etemon to survive it. " Meteor Wing! "

" Nova Blast! "

" Electro Shocker! "

The children and allies stare in horror as they don't even phase Etemon. He launches his Dark Network attack several times and cuts off their escape routes. " There's nothing else we can do, he's just too strong. Looks like this is the end." Sora says.

" I wanted to get out of Algebra class, but not like this. " Joe says.

Tai looks at his glowing crest, " No, I'm not ready to surrender to Etemon just yet, coming Greymon? "

" I'm right behind you, Tai. " Greymon says and they walk forward.

Etemon scoffs, " What do we got here sports fans? A new batter steps into play. "

" I'm not afraid of you, you big blowhard. Come down here and fight like a mon. "

" Tai, what are you doing, you don't stand a chance. " Mimi says.

" Hey, you are brave, I like that. " Etemon says, launching another Dark Network attack.

Greymon gets hit by Etemon's Dark Network and is promptly knocked over by it, " Don't worry, Greymon, I'm staying with you. " Tai says.

Tai holds his digivice and tag and crest aloft in both his hands, with his digivice turning orange and blue, " Tai, your Courage is giving me even greater strength, I can digivolve. " Greymon says as he stands up, the digivice starts to vibrate and squeal, signaling a new evolution, " Greymon digivolve to… MetalGreymon! "

" Lookie here a fully evolved digimon. I can handle him too, just watch me kiddo. " Etemon says.

" MetalGreymon? " Joe says in a questioning tone.

" It was the power from the crest. " Matt says.

" MetalGreymon uses his own body as a weapon during battle. His most lethal is the Giga Destroyer. " Tentomon informs the others.

" Etemon is everybody's enemy, use the power of the crest. " Tai shouts.

" What's with ya? Is there no end to your stupidity? Well, maybe I can put an end to it for ya. " Etemon says throwing another Dark Network attack.

MetalGreymon swipes down with one hand and destroys the attack. Etemon looks stunned, " That was just a joke. " MetalGreymon walks forward towards his opponent.

" Finish him now while we have the power. " Tai calls out to his partner.

" No, back off, baby. " Etemon says just as MetalGreymon head-butts the ultimate level digimon's dark wiry cocoon, " Ow, what's the matter with you, don't you know the rules? There's no head-butting allowed. "

MetalGreymon growls and starts to glow white, " He's glowing, I wish my hair could do that. " Mimi says.

" It's the crest power! " TK exclaims.

" No! Don't destroy me! I've got too much talent! " Etemon exclaims.

" Giga Blaster! " MetalGreymon unleashes his attack, which is two missiles that are shaped like sharks, which explode against the dark wiry cocoon, causing it to warp!

" No! You must not defeat me! I'm just too important to die… " Etemon says and then he disappears in the warp.

The celebration is cut short as Tai and MetalGreymon are sucked through a portal that had opened up during Tai's fight with Etemon, " Selena, is this why you told Tai you felt he'd be going back to our world soon? " Izzy asks her.

Selena nods even as she and the digimon plus Davis are chowing down on food. They needed to replenish their strength after all. KendoGarurumon takes his leave with Bokumon though he did admit that he may help them again as he had gotten some much needed exercise. Selena, Davis, and Veemon weeks later of Digiworld time curse the stupidity of the others, Kazemon had gone with TK and Matt, just in case. Meteormon had followed after Joe, the others had also taken off leaving the eight year olds and a blue dragon to fend for themselves.

Seriously, they left them alone, I don't care if they are Legendary Warriors they're children! Plus, we only ever willingly separated once the entire time we were in the Digital World for the first time. It's sad when my eight year old daughter is more mature than the older kids. Takuya rants to his partner.

" Sel, can you sense any other crests nearby? " Davis asks her.

Selena closes her eyes and allows her sigil to light up, " I actually sense another kid, beast spirit evolve and I'll guide us. "

Davis nods and soon Yêshòumon has leaped up and over a kid their age with dark hair and a Wormmon for a partner. Selena curses when she can feel the impure darkness in him, " Daddy, I'm gonna need your help. " she says as she hops off of Yêshòumon with Veemon, letting Davis end his evolution.

" Hello, there, I'm Ichijouji Ken. "

" Kanbara Selena, my human companion is Motomiya Daisuke, prefers Davis, and the blue guy is Veemon, technically Davis' partner. "

Takuya senses what his daughter had in Ken and knew what she needed help with, she needed him to guide her in burning out the impure darkness within the poor boy. Takuya concentrates and manages to astrally project to his daughter, being Lord Cosmos did come with some perks, Hey, baby girl.

Selena whips around as does Davis and Veemon, " How are you…? " Davis trails off, being friends with Selena had desensitized him to a lot of weird stuff.

Now, Ken, my baby girl here asked for my help to help you. You have an impure form of Darkness within you, the power of AncientSphinxmon the first ruler of Darkness and the element my oldest son has inherited. Takuya rolls his eyes heavenward, at least Ken seemed to have a more Koichi type personality. Selena walks forward and places her hands on Ken while Takuya lays his hands on her shoulders, a phantom touch really but father and daughter would take it. Selena sends her power forward and Takuya follows its course guiding it along. Ken feels much happier when the father-daughter duo have finished, " Thank you, both of you. "

No problem, Ken. Baby girl, I gotta go back to my body now and you know it. Hopefully, I'll wake up soon at least and be able to curb my mother. If not, well, stay true to yourself, baby girl. Takuya says and fades away.

Selena almost whimpered but holds herself back. Davis sighs, " Hey, if that stubborn will you have is anything like what I got a glimpse of in your father then he'll be waking up soon. "

Ken steps forward when he sees the tag that had been hidden behind the wall that was Davis' Crest of Miracles and places it around his neck where it should be, " How can I be worthy of the Crest of Miracles? It makes no sense. " Davis murmurs.

Selena looks at her best friend, " Davis, my mom was able to make the impossible possible simply because she refused to believe there was no way for her to win, her power comes from the Maboroshi no Ginzuisho, the Silver Imperium Crystal, well, hers anyhow. Your power is golden in color, it makes sense that you would be able to maybe do the same thing, you just have to believe in yourself and your friends, right, Veemon, Agunimon, Dad? "

Gatomon, this one's tail and tufts having silver due to her long exposure to Serena leaps at him and Takuya catches her while he laughs, " That I am, now, I think I need to get up to date on what's been going on and then have a reunion with my baby girl. " Takuya says and heads for the staging room or op center of Lady Ophanimon's Castle.

The Celestials freeze when he walks in with Gatomon on his shoulder and then Bokomon and Neemon tackle him, " Takuya, my boy, it's so good to see you up and about again. " Bokomon says.

" Good to be up. Lady Ophanimon, Lord Seraphimon, fill me in now before I go find my baby girl. " Takuya says, the leader in him coming out full force, his goggles had been the first thing he had made sure were still there.

With the Flame Princess:

Selena perks up when she senses another crest and it resonates with Ken. She races on ahead, leaving the others to catch up to her. It had been four hours since Davis had found his crest. Ken's tag glows and he runs forward, the crest shrinks down and slots itself into the tag, " Mine's the Crest of Kindness. " Ken murmurs.

" It suits you, Ken. " Davis says, the three of them had discovered a shared love of soccer, " Now, we need to go find TK and Patamon. "

Real World:

Tai grabs up his partner and quickly heads for home, remembering what Selena had said. After he catches up with his little sister and hunts down her digivice, pocketing it while also taking a call from Izzy, he and Koromon, whom digivolves to handle the Ogremon that had showed up. He also grabbed his cell phone and calls a certain Kanbara, " Tai, please tell me you're going to save me. In fact I'll just teleport to you. My grandmother is driving me insane. " Jaden says and hangs up. Mere moments later the prince of darkness is beside his best friend, on crutches, he looks at Kari, " Don't worry, I'll make sure keep your bro in one piece, Kari. " The duo of Courage and prince of darkness are sucked up into the sky and into the Digital World.

Patamon has just gotten done telling Tai, Agumon, and Jaden what had happened since Tai had gone back to Earth when Jaden, whom had called Lady Ophanimon to get healed and had chucked his crutches into subspace is tackled from behind. " Hey, Lena, miss me. " Jaden says, having barely managed to keep his feet.

" Jaden-nii, was grandma driving you nuts? " Selena asks her big brother.

" She hunted me down at Takato's just to yell at me for leaving the house on crutches. " Jaden says, " Hey, Davis, and is that a Veemon, damn, you are one lucky kid. "

Davis steps aside, " Kanbara Jaden, Kamiya Taichi, Agumon, Patamon this is Ichijouji Ken and his partner Wormmon. Ken holds the Crest of Kindness and I have the Crest of Miracles. "

" Call me Tai, Ken. Welcome to the team. Patamon, is Kazemon still with TK? "

" Now, Patamon, I believe Tai was asking you to lead them to your partner and Kazemon. Can't wait to see her reaction to me being awake since I told Lady Ophanimon and Lord Seraphimon not to inform her. " Takuya says, shifting Selena. She had fallen asleep just from being in his arms. Then again Ken, Davis, and Selena had been low on sleep for a while now.

However, she snaps awake when she senses they're close to TK and Kazemon. The Princess of Flames then spots DemiDevimon and she stalks forward, her Warrior Symbol blazing. DemiDevimon gulps and starts to sweat, Takuya steps up behind her his fist ablaze, " Flame King, is that you? " DemiDevimon asks.

" Who are you working for you bowling ball with wings? " Takuya demands.

TK's blue eyes widen and then narrow as his Crest glows. He takes his digivice and crest back from Patamon, " He's like the Pagumon, isn't he? "

" I'm afraid he is. However, he's a small fry, which means he's working for a more powerful idiot. " Takuya says.

Jaden slips through the shadows and gets behind DemiDevimon. " How the hell are you awake?! " Kazemon shouts at Takuya once she processed what she was seeing.

" Hey, Z, you know me, my will is indomitable, plus my children need me, my mom is getting out of hand. Plus, I need to get Taiki back from Ikkuko and Kenji, my in-laws. " Takuya says.

Davis and Tai proceed to surround DemiDevimon while Wormmon quietly digivolves and flies above the annoying flying bowling ball as Stingmon. Takuya proceeds to question DemiDevimon but he refuses to speak. Jaden's eyes flash and he clears his throat, " You are a dark digimon and you will answer all questions put to you! "

DemiDevimon had whipped around to see the Prince of Darkness, he had just been given an order as well. DemiDevimon tells them about Myotismon and his plans to destroy one of the children, to invade their world as well. Once that was done Jaden summons his Shadow Sword and defeats the rookie before scanning his fractal code. Jaden's H Spirit of Darkness happened to be Gepardmon, gepard being German for cheetah, the B Spirit of Darkness in this case is DunkelheitGepardmon, translating into darkness cheetah. With DemiDevimon gone they set out to look for Matt. Kazemon was having to listen to her partner fume in Japanese, English, and Italian about the fact that Takuya was awake.
