Sandra and Sora walked through the tunnel. Sora supported Sandra as they walked. Sandra told Sora everything that was going on, knowing that she couldn't hide it anymore. Lady Shadow saw to that, Sandra thought, bitterly.
"Wow," Sora gasped when Sandra finished her story. "It sounds pretty tough."
Sandra nodded. "Yeah, but we'll get the job done," she assured Sora. She then added, "You don't have to support me anymore. I can get along fine by myself from here."
Sora hesitated for a moment before letting Sandra go. They walked in silence at a steady pace for awhile, but then Sora broke it. "Sandra, what you're going through it pretty tough, right?"
"Yeah," Sandra answered.
"Would you mind if I came with you and helped you out?" Sora asked.
"What?" Sandra stopped and stared at Sora in surprise.
"What you're doing is pretty tough, and you need all the help you can get by the sound of it. I want to go along with you, Sandra. I want to help you," Sora explained. "Please?"
"Do you really know what you're getting into?" Sandra questioned.
"I do," Sora answered.
Sandra then blinked and smiled, gratefully. "Alright, Sora. You can come. Thank you."
Sora smiled. "I'll do whatever I can to help, Sandra," she promised.
"Just don't do anything crazy in the process," Sandra replied.
"No promises," Sora said in a joking tone. Sandra giggled a little.
"I knew I liked you," she said as they continued through the tunnel.
"Hey! I see light!" Sora commented. Pretty soon they reached the next checkpoint. Sandra saw a girl waiting on the other side of the stadium. She had curly light blue hair, army blue eyes, fair skin, and purple-red lips. She wore a jean jacket, a light blue tank top, a blue mini skirt, and dark and light blue high tops. The girl met Sandra's gaze with cold eyes.
"Are you sure you'll be alright, Sandra?" Sora asked. "She looks pretty strong."
"I'll be fine," Sandra assured her. "A battle's a battle." She walked up to her side of the stadium. "I'm Sandra." No answer. "Uh...what's your name?"
"Lily," the girl answered. "Lily Waters." She said nothing more. She just aimed her launcher. Sandra did the same.
"3!"
"2!"
"1!"
"Let it rip!"
Lily's bey attacked Leone the first chance it go. "Go Night Artemis!" Lily shouted.
Sandra smiled as she felt the power of Artemis as it struck Leone. She sure is strong, but I'm not about to lay down and play dead! "Leone! Push back!" she ordered. Leone began meeting Artemis's attacks one by one.
"That's it! Go Sandra!" Sora cheered.
"You really think that'll work? Ha! Artemis!" Artemis began to glow. "Arrows of Faith!" Leone was knocked to the center of the stadium. Artemis began to strike Leone from all sides.
"Hang on Leone!" Sandra shouted. "Time to kick it up a notch! Lion Gale Force Wall!" The tornado appeared an knocked Artemis away.
"Don't think that weak attack will defeat Artemis!" Lily said. Artemis suddenly sped forward and broke through the wind.
"What?!" Sandra exclaimed as Leone was sent flying backwards.
"Go now, Artemis! Arrow of Harmony! Crush her!" Lily commanded. Artemis crashed into Leone again and sent it flying into the air. "One more time! Finish it!" Artemis struck Leone again, causing an explosion and hiding Leone from view. "The win is mine," Lily said.
"This isn't over just yet, Lily!" Sandra called.
"There's no way Leone survived that!" Lily argued.
"We'll see about that! Leone! Special Move! Crushing Tornado!" Leone appeared surrounded by the tornado and headed straight for Artemis.
Lily gritted her teeth with frustration. "Artemis! Special Move! Arrow Crusher!" Artemis charged and met Leone's attack with more power than it had before, glowing brighter than before.
"Leone!" Sandra shouted.
"Artemis!" Lily exclaimed.
The colliding special moves caused an explosion and both beys were hidden. When the dust cleared, Leone was revealed the winner.
"Great job, Sandra!" Sora called.
Sandra called Leone back and went over to Lily. She held out her hand. "That was a great battle," Sandra said. "We should do it again sometime."
Lily stared at her with a hard look and slapped her hand, surprising Sandra. "You got lucky!" Lily growled. "The next time we meet, you won't be so lucky!" With that, she walked off.
"Well, I guess we should keep going. You up for it?" Sora asked.
Sandra nodded. "Yep. Let's go." She led the way through the tunnel toward the next checkpoint.
