Sandra walked through the tunnel. She began to wonder if they would ever get out of the tunnels and get even the smallest change in scenery. It was getting pretty old, walking in the darkness of so many tunnels. A change in scenery might brighten her mood a little bit. She still hadn't recovered completely from all the battling. One tough battle after another drained her energy, and she knew she should stop and rest but a determination kept her going. Kyoya wouldn't stop, and neither will you.

"I can see the next checkpoint," Rex said as a small flittering light came into view, the light growing brighter and brighter as they got closer. When they emerged out of the tunnel, the person standing on the other side of the stadium shocked Sandra.

"I thought you'd never make it this far."

"Neptune!" Sandra exclaimed.

Neptune raised her launcher. "You can't escape this time, Sandra! You don't have a choice! You either battle me now or forfeit the tournament! Which will it be?"

Sandra stared at her for a moment. She couldn't explain it, but there was just something different about Neptune. She wasn't like other bladers that fought against her. Neptune shouldn't be on their side. She should be fighting with us.

Sandra finally raised her launcher. "I've made it this far, and I'm not about to quit now! Bring it on, Neptune!"

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"Let it rip!"

Both beys clashed in the center of the stadium before bouncing back from each other and circling around the edge of the stadium. Sandra studied Neptune's bey. It looked to be either a stamina or attack type, but she couldn't tell. Either way she had to be careful. If it was an attack type, Sandra would have to avoid Neptune's attacks, but if it was a stamina type, then she couldn't just wait for a sleep out.

"Go Twistails Neptune!" Neptune exclaimed, and her bey attacked Leone.

"Dodge it, Leone!" Sandra shouted. Leone dodged the attack just in time, but Twistails Neptune still grazed the edge of Leone's fusion, making it wobble a little. "Now it's our turn! Smash Mode, Leone!" Leone's fusion wheel shifted and it collided with Twistails Neptune.

"Lightning Strike!" Neptune commanded. A ocean blue griffon suddenly appeared and shot lightning out of its beak at Leone, sending Leone flying back.

"What?!" Sandra exclaimed.

"There's more where that came from! Twistails Neptune!" Neptune's bey shot more lightning at Leone.

"True Lion Gale Force Wall!" Sandra ordered. The tornado shot up and blocked the lightning bolts from hitting Leone.

"Not going to work! Twistails Neptune! Planet Alight!" Plants suddenly seemed to come to life all around the stadium and crashed together, causing an explosion and making the tornado vanish.

"Leone!" Sandra exclaimed, unable to see her bey.

"Face it, Sandra. You can't win this battle," Neptune said.

"No! I refuse to lose!" Sandra retorted.

"You can do it Sandra!" Sora cheered.

Sandra nodded. "Don't give up Leone! You can do it!" The dust cleared to reveal Leone still hanging on. "Do it, Leone! Special Move! Fierce Tornado Clash!" Leone began circling the stadium with a tornado surrounding it.

"You're not going to beat me! Special Move! Divine Ocean!" Neptune shouted. A wave appeared with a griffon riding it.

"Go Leone!"

"Don't give in, Twistails Neptune!"

The two attacks met in a fierce explosion, causing both bladers to lose sight of their beys. Once the dust cleared it was revealed that Twistails Neptune had stopped, and Leone was just barely hanging on.

Sandra let out a relieved sigh, ignoring how tired she felt as Leone returned to her. She looked up at Neptune and gasped when she saw her faint, falling to the ground. "Neptune!" Sandra ran over to the girl, dropping down beside her.

"What happened?" Sora asked, looking shocked.

"I don't know," Sandra answered.

"She'll probably wake up in a little bit," Rex pointed out. "We should get out of here while we have the chance."

"No. I'm not leaving until I knew Neptune is ok," Sandra said, sitting down to wait. "Nothing you say can make me move."

"But she's after you," Rex argued.

"That doesn't change the fact that she's a blader just like you and me," Sandra countered. "If you want to leave, go ahead. I'm staying."

Rex stared at her before sighing in defeat and sitting down. Pence and Sora also settled down to wait. Sandra smiled before looking back at Neptune with concerned eyes. I hope she's ok.
