First, I must apologize for not updating for so long. I've been so busy with work and school work, but now it's summer break so hopefully I can update a lot more because I'd really like to finish this story as well as some of my others. So I'm truthfully sorry for the slow updates. I'm mad at myself so please don't hurt me.
Anyway, on with the story!
Sandra and the group followed Erica into Julian's house where the members of Team Excalibur were all sitting. "What's wrong Erica?" Sandra asked.
"Did you find something out?" Gigi chimed in.
"I was able to locate your evil self, Sandra," Erica said.
"That's great!" Shori exclaimed. "Where is she?"
"Well, that's the bad part. She's in the same temple that Nemesis is in," Erica replied grimly.
"That means she's working with the people who want to revive Nemesis," Rex concluded.
Amber looked down at the ground with sad eyes. "Riku..."
"What's going on?" Jasmine asked. Leo quickly explained everything that had been happening and Jasmine understood it all, offering her help. Sandra just nodded, trying to think of a plan. You have to face her. You need to find her and send her back before she does anymore damage!
"So, what's our next move?" Sora asked, glancing around at everyone.
"Nemesis is dangerous, so it would be wise to just stay away and let the others handle it," Wales piped up.
"So you're suggesting we just sit back and watch this happen?" Sandra asked.
"It would keep you out of danger," Erica pointed out.
"Do you really think that matters to me? Now of all times? I've been in danger this whole time, and I still will be unless we go there and stop this once and for all. Sure, I'm in pain, but the longer we wait, the more painful this all is. And it's not just me in danger. Kyoya and the others are facing the fight of their lives. They're in danger, and as many times as I've told myself not to get involved, I can't stay away. I have to go there and help them, and stop my evil self from doing anything else to this world. You guys can either come or stay. Your choice," Sandra explained.
Everyone was silent for a moment. The whole group exchanged similar looks and they all nodded to each other. Leo stood up. "We're with you, Sandra. We've all come with far with you, and there's no way we'd give up now."
Sandra smiled. "Thanks guys. Then let's go."
"We'll stay back in case something else comes up," Erica said, standing in front of Julian and the others. Julian nodded in agreement.
"Thanks for the information, Erica," Sandra said before the group began to leave the house.
"Sandra?" Sandra stopped and turned back to looked at Erica. Erica's eyes were shining with worry. "Please be careful and come back safe."
Sandra thought about all the pain she was in at the moment and knew that she couldn't promise anything, but she just smiled and hid her worry. "No need to worry about a thing, Erica. You do know who you're talking to right?"
Erica forced a smile. "That's what worries me."
"Everything will be fine," Sandra assured her before following the others outside.
