Hey, guys. Here's the next chapter. Sorry for the poor introductions, but I was being rushed to finish. Also, I won't be updating for a while, since I now have a new Wattpad account. Message me if you want to know what it is, and I have a new story on there. It's also fanfiction, don't worry. Just . . . not BH6. Have fun!
Hiro's P.O.V.
I stared. These were Erika's friends? They were so . . . dare I say it . . . cute.
As Erika introduced each of them, I was surprised to hear their names. Amity . . . not a common name. Neither was Eva. Amelia . . . kinda. I hadn't met anyone with that name, but it wasn't all that uncommon either. So I just watched.
After Erika had vaguely introduced us as the members of Big Hero 6, I decided to add more to it.
"I'm Hiro," I said, smiling. "And these are my friends, Honey Lemon, Gogo, Wasabi, and Fred." I gestured to each said person as introduced.
"We know," Amelia said, blushing. "We've known about you for a while."
"We just . . ." Amity looked at Eva.
"We weren't sure you were real." Eva stated. No sugar-coating there.
"What do you mean? Of course we're real." Gogo asked, confused.
"We were always told that movies were fictional." Erika explained. "That they weren't real. They said that you were just made-up people living in a made-up world."
"But now we know that you are." Amity said.
These girls were getting confusing.
"Hang on a second." Wasabi said. "So you're saying that in your world, people made the Big Hero 6 a movie just out of sheer imagination?" He raised an eyebrow. "That they didn't really know we existed?!"
Erika nodded. "I guess so."
Wasabi sat back, mumbling something incoherent.
"So all of this is just a huge coincidence." Gogo stated. It wasn't really a question.
"Okay, everybody." Erika's mom interrupted. "How about we get this party staaaaaarteeeed?"
I watched as Erika's mother and Honey started to pull more things out of the bags than just balloons. There were party hats (don't ask me; she bought them), streamers, candy (two bags of ONLY CANDY), soda, and a couple card games I'm guessing were to help us all stay up. I was surprised that Erika's mom would let her do this with so many people, but then again, Erika did say that this was a first.
"Wow . . ." Eva breathed. "Erika, why don't you ever even have a pack of gum, but tonight you have," Eva gestured to the giant stack of candy, "this?"
Erika laughed. "This is only because my mom said okay. It wasn't even my own idea."
"Come on, let's go in Erika's room downstairs." Amity suggested, grabbing both Eva and Amelia's hands and dragging them down the steps. Erika stopped to look at me, then started that way. I figured I'd let her hang with her friends for a while. I had already hung out with her enough over the last couple days. I won't take away their time with their friend.
"Hiro?" Wasabi had been trying to get my attention; I could tell, because he was waving his hand in front of my face. I snapped to attention, turning to face him with a look saying 'What now?'
"Can you separate these piles of candy into different stacks? Then, it'll be easier for people to fain their favorites. And it would be a lot more . . . efficient." Wasabi tried to make it about the others and what kinds of candy they'd like, but I knew it was really about his OCD stuff he went through. But I agreed anyways. I had to find something to get my mind off of a certain person.
Erika's P.O.V.
I followed behind the group of my friends, waiting for Hiro to catch up. I was trying to tell him that I wanted him to follow, but I'm not sure that he got it. Instead, I just shut the door to my Writing Room after everyone piled it. It's not like there was a lock on the door; if Hiro changed his mind, he'd be able to join us.
I was thinking about this when I got knocked from my mind as I was pulled into one of my own beanbag chairs that littered the room. Amelia and Eva immediately joined me on my side, Amity right across from us.
"So, what's going on?" Amity asked, holding both of my knees down so I couldn't get up. "What's happened to you?"
"What are you talking about?" I asked. "I'm confused."
"We know you like him. And something happened to you. What'd you two do?" Eva asked.
I rolled my eyes, knowing exactly what they meant.
"We're only 13, remember? Not exactly in that stage of a relationship." I said.
"Aha!" Amelia exclaimed. "So you are in a relationship with Hiro!"
"No!" I protested. "He hasn't even asked me to be his girlfriend yet! We're just friends!"
They all stared at me, their mouths hanging open.
A series of What?!s and How?!s came out of their mouths, leaving me with one answer.
"I don't know. I really don't know." I laughed, joking. I knew that there were thousands of girls out there that would die to be in my place, but I also know that they would've probably scared him off by now with their obsessiveness. But, surprisingly, I hadn't.
I had eventually just zoned out, going into my own little world inside my head, blocking out all sound, and I stared at the wall without really seeing. Amity had pulled out her phone, and when she was about to text her brother back, Eva grabbed it from her, putting on some music. Amity tackled her, trying unsuccessfully to get it back.
Amelia sat beside me, laughing. I realized I hadn't really been paying attention to the people that were supposed to be my guests, so I laughed too as Eva pinned Amity down, sitting on her back. No matter how much she kicked and thrashed, Eva was stronger. She held her down with one hand, changing the music with the other.
Soon, we all agreed on playing my playlist, since I always downloaded the most recent pop music I liked. I clicked play, and Demi Lovato's Neon Lights came on. The others started dancing, but I stayed on the ground, laughing and watching. I was the DJ, just like every other sleepover or hangout we've ever had as a group.
After, I heard my mom calling us all upstairs. We headed up, and got ready to have the best night of our lives.
