Good afternoon! (Or it is afternoon here right now at least, but, you know.)

Ahh! I'm glad I managed to make you a bit surprised over Law's true role in this fic! Kuku~! Law's motive will briefly be explained in this chappie!

Onto the awesome reviews:

Yuki Artsa: (Aaah thank you anyway! Reviews always make me glad!) Oh Aiko, Aiko, Aiko... I think she should leave Shiro alone. But Doffy does not leave Law alone either so... Thanks for reviewing again my dear! :)

Knet: AAH! I'm glad I could surprise you! ( - v - ) There will still be one plot twist, but it won't be revealed until the very last part of the very last chapter. And Doffy is crazy, kuku! Thanks for the nice review! It made me inspired!

Shiina Yuki: Haha! There is quite a lot going on in this fic but yes, Law and his mom are both murderers. ( ^ o ^ ) I'm very grateful for your reviews! Thank youu~ ;v;

haidogirl1406: Oh Doffy would never kill Law ... I think... Thanks for the review sweetie! :)

LittlestR: ( o/o ) You're making me blush~! I think Doffy would be mad but Vergo just bluffed. He said that to Law to make Law keep his mouth shut. (Personally, I guess Vergo is a bit jealous of Law since Doffy likes him~) But you are right, Law is the young sir and Doffy would have been enraged if he would have found out. Thanks for the lovely review! ( ^ o ^ )

Here is the next chappie! I recommend that you'd listen to the classical pieces in the fic (especially Adagio, it's a beautiful piece). But if you don't like classical music, you shouldn't listen to them. ( ^ o ^ )

((*phew* I managed to update all of my ongoing fics before my trip~))

~Enjoy~

It took him a few seconds to process what Doflamingo just had told him, but when he finally comprehended what the man before him had uttered, he panicked and started to trash around.

"No! Never!" he cried, not even knowing what he was screaming. Vivaldi's Autumn was halfway through and his mind stormed like rainy days could in that particular season. He tried to struggle and stand up from the chair, but his body wasn't cooperating. Instead, it collapsed down on the hard marble floor with a loud thud while it trembled in an attempt to get up again. "Don't fucking kill me! Don't you fucking dare to kill me! I will fuck you up!"

Doflamingo only looked at his dear Law with worry. The lean man was weakly trying to kick something or grab something, but his body was not willing to work. The blond man sighed and cleaned his mouth with an embroidered napkin. This was not how he had wanted their dinner to end up like. He had wished that they could have eaten in peace, had some undemanding discussions and enjoyed the rich world of flavors.

But instead, his poor Law was panicking. It was painful to watch the love of his life struggle on the marble floor. Yet, somehow, it was very pleasing. Law was helpless. Doflamingo was in charge. Law needed him.

"My sweet angel", Doflamingo murmured, standing up from the rather unseemly yet comfortable chair the maids had brought with them a few hours earlier. He walked up to the man he had decided to make his and collected Law into his arms. "You misunderstood me."

"Go away! Go away!" his screams and shouts only persisted as he weakly and shakily endeavored to push Doflamingo away. Law's entire body trembled in disgust. "I will fucking stab you if you try to kill me!"

"I will not physically hurt you, my love", Doflamingo mumbled, planting kiss after kiss on Law's forehead. Law only shuddered at the lips against his smooth forehead and tried his very best to get rid of the other man. The enormous hand of the blond man caressed his hair and he felt how a chill of disgust crawled its way up for his spine. "I will only get rid of your soul, and replace it with a new, better soul. This is only a funeral for your old soul."

"What the fuck?" Law calmed down but still felt how anger simmered within him. Everything Doflamingo did was so utterly frustrating. It made him tremble of irritation. Instead of a volcano, Law was more like a bitter wind whenever Doflamingo was around – constantly biting and cold.

"Yes, once we have finished dessert, I will try a new ritual", the tone he used was soft and calm, as if he was speaking to a small child. The understanding voice only irritated Law more and he felt how the cold wind within him only became wilder again. "They say that the soul is a container for emotions. By providing you a new soul, you should fall in love with me. Don't worry; it won't change your personality or memories. Your emotions will only be swapped into new ones."

Law took a deep breath and calmed the storm raging inside of him. "Where on earth have you even read about stuff like that?" the inquiry came very calmly. Doflamingo was content with noticing how his kisses and caresses had managed to calm Law. The blond man didn't realize that his intimate touches only made it harder for Law to calm down.

"Oh, I read a lot", Doflamingo flashed an uncanny smile and Law thought that it was for the best that he wouldn't ask about that anymore. He probably did not want to know just how twisted Doflamingo truly was. Well, it wasn't like Law was completely sane either. Law would never hurt innocent people, though. "Let me help you, darling." Doflamingo carefully helped Law up and placed him back on the chair again.

As soon as Doflamingo had settled down again, the dinner persevered. Dessert was served and Law unwillingly forced the homemade sorbet into his mouth. He felt sick and sweet sorbet was the last thing he craved for the moment.

Vivaldi had reached Winter. The piece started softly but quickly became louder. By using rather anxious tones, Vivaldi threw you in into a violin solo. It created a somewhat cold atmosphere. It was outright incredible how much music could affect an environment. The violin sounded rather desperate, playing fast and beautiful tones. Law could nearly feel snowflakes flutter down from the ceiling and could swear that the marble floor around them was turning into ice. The whole piece was icy in a genial way. Law was once again impressed by Doflamingo's good taste in music.

It was a pity; he could have gotten along with Doflamingo if he had not been crazy.

When Winter reached Largo, the softer and more emotional part of the bitingly cold winter, Doflamingo spoke up again. Law had by then started to feel sick due to the cold and disgustingly sweet sorbet.

"May I ask you why you are killing all of those people, my love?" while elegantly taking yet another spoon of the sorbet, Doflamingo gave Law a gentle, charming smile. It would have been charming, at least, if not Law had known about Doflamingo's real personality. "I mean, I noticed that they all were Christians. What do you have against Christianity?"

"What do I have against Christianity, you ask", Law repeated it with a thoughtful voice. He had quite a lot against Christians. He and his mother both had – it had become particularly bad after his father's death. Lami wasn't involved very much – she did not know about their habit to murder at all.

"Yes. It is quite peculiar, especially since your father belonged to a very Christian family as far as I am concerned", the remark made Law's blood boil and freeze at the same time.

That was true. His father had belonged to a horribly Christian family. And when his father had decided to become a doctor and not rely on the miracles of God, they had thrown him out of their family, even if he only had been fifteen years old. A few years later, they had taken him in again, agreeing that they had been a bit too harsh on him.

Law had grown up in a rather Christian environment as well, since his father had never given up on his faith. Law had really believed in God, just like Lami and mother as well. He had gladly gone to church and heard about the miracles Jesus and God were capable of. He had loved God and done everything right.

He had been a good Christian.

A part of him still loved God. But a God who allowed humans to torture each other to death could simply not exist. When his father had developed a new vaccine, his family had thrown him out again. But this time, they had not only ignored him, but had threatened to kill him. Once, his own brother had abused him when he had been on his way home. They had tortured him every day of his short life with messages and threats to take Law and Lami away from him.

The last drop had been when they had burnt down all of his research.

His father had been so endlessly depressed. He had always been a bit of melancholy due to his tragic childhood and the conflicts within his family. His father had been completely dependent on his family's approval. And when they had thrown him out again, he had given up. He had not been strong like mother. He had been fragile.

And so, he had ended his own life.

"I do not believe in God", Law merely replied. He was not going to explain himself.

"So you disagree with their beliefs?" Doflamingo wanted to confirm and Law gave him a stern nod. He was technically not lying. He had disagreed with the Christian belief ever since father had shot himself. "It is understandable. I have never liked Christianity myself either. I am more – hm – fond of mythology of different kinds. They seem purer in my opinion. More elementary. Closer to the real human nature."

Instead of giving the man in front of him a proper reply Law swallowed the last piece of the sorbet. Things were not going like he wanted them to. His attempt to slash his wrists open had failed miserably and his lithe body was being terribly difficult to move. It was as if his entire body was filled with lactic acids, making it feel awfully languid and cumbrous. He did not feel like stone – no, that would be a false metaphor. Instead, he felt like sticky, heavy mud.

"Are you done eating, my love?" Doflamingo asked, using a disturbingly sweet tone. Law glanced at the man in front of him and genuinely wondered if he ever actually would be able to fall in love with him. He highly doubted that. Doflamingo's mere presence was making him feel nauseated.

"Yes", Law replied dryly.

By giving one of the maids a discreet glance Doflamingo made them bring away the empty silver bowls where the sorbet had been. At the same time, Winter ended playing. The cold atmosphere did not leave the old church however. It was almost worse than before. Vivaldi had left them in a freezing cold mood thanks to his brilliant Winter.

"Then, let us start the next ritual."

It was nearly seven o'clock in the evening but Coby and Smoker weren't even thinking of going home. Who could honestly go home and enjoy a cozy meal when some crazy serial killer was on the move? No one. Therefore, the meal was eaten in Smoker's office. Two boxes of Thai food had been opened and emptied and the two men were now quenching their thirsts with carbonated water.

"So there was nothing suspicious about Eustass Kidd?" the gray-haired man asked as soon as he had taken a long gulp of the frizzly water.

"Nothing remarkable at least", Coby replied. "He doesn't have a very good alibi and his work started late the next morning, so he could technically be behind it. We have no solid proof for that, though. And he seems genuinely concerned over Trafalgar's well-being."

"And you have investigated his apartment?" Smoker asked, now organizing his messy desk a bit. There had not been any other murders yet. It was only a matter of time, though – the serial killer usually slayed several victims in one day. This day had been unusually quiet, which worried the older man a bit. Did that have anything to do with Trafalgar?

"Yes. There was absolutely nothing suspicious about it", the younger one of them had spent hours on end thinking about this, but had not come very far. "Unless normal utensils and alcohol is suspicious, but I suppose it is completely normal for anyone to own things like that."

"Naturally", Smoker had also spent a while trying to find anything that could be considered a clue. He had chatted with Trafalgar's co-workers at the hospital. Most of them had described Trafalgar as a charming, intelligent young man who was a bit cold and distant. No one had really complained about him, not at all, most people had used an admiring tone when speaking of him. Each and every one of them had expressed great sorrow and anxiety at Trafalgar's disappearance, and was hoping that he soon would be found again. "Trafalgar's family has been informed and questioned too. His mother cried and his younger sister desperately asked what she could do. Both of them have alibis for the night, so we can cross them out on the list."

There occurred a small, quite cozy silence, which Coby quickly decided to fill with his own mumbling voice.

"There is not much I can do, but…" Coby said, his voice muttering in deep thought.

"What is on your mind?" Smoker asked, hoping that Coby would come with some good idea. Sometimes the silly youngster – yes, Smoker dared to call him a youngster due to their age gap – came with surprisingly useful ideas.

"I can always try to find out whom Trafalgar usually spends his spare time with", Coby said. "I doubt it will be easy, since he seems like a very distant person who rarely spends time with anyone but himself. But if I could find any relation that seems suspicious… Who knows what kind of friends – or even lovers – Trafalgar might have? There might be someone out there, who seeks revenge or something, and kidnapped Trafalgar because of that."

"And why do you think that those kinds of relationships would have anything to do with the serial killing?" the older one asked, not quite following Coby's train of thought. It seemed like a very far-fetched thing to look into. It would hardly bear fruit.

"That is the only thing we can do", Coby replied. "I have a strong feeling that the man named Jeremy used a fake name. Jeremy might be someone who seeks revenge on Trafalgar."

"And why would anyone want to have a revenge on Trafalgar?" Smoker found himself asking question after question this day. It was usually the other way around. But sometimes it only did him good not to continuously answer questions.

"I don't know", the younger one muttered. "He might have loaned money when he still was a student and never paid it back? He might have broken someone's heart? Stolen someone's ideas?"

"You might be right", taking another sip of the carbonated water, Smoker looked at the wall in his office with distant eyes. "But time is running short. People want answers. Therefore, I will not be able to give you many days investigating this. It seems way too far-fetched, and even if I do believe in you, I doubt that the higher-ups would be pleased knowing that you aren't investigating the actual murders."

"It is understandable", Coby replied and was already ready to not sleep in a few days. He would do anything to prove them that is instinct was right this time.

The evening sun pierced through the mosaic picture. This made the bright, yet quite dirty, colors of the picture illuminated in a wonderful way. Colorful light stains covered the altar, leaves rustling in the wind outside. Everything had somehow become beautiful, yet utterly unsightly.

Law was now placed on one of the benches in the abandoned church while the maids emptied the altar of the earlier decorations. They moved the wall of roses a bit backwards, making it melt into the background of the altar in an elegant way. In the middle of the altar the coffin with Law's photograph rested. The whole situation still creeped Law out – he felt how objectionable waves of chariness and fear clambered their way up for his bony back.

When the altar was clean and neat, a new cross was carried into the church and placed behind the coffin on the majestic altar. This time, the cross was beautifully decorated in gold details while it overall was painted in a shining white. Law thought that the preparations were done, but then one of the maids and Vergo carried in something that resembled a throne. It was placed right in front of the cross, the coffin between them. The fitment's wooden parts were also painted in the exact same of white while the leather had a shy shade of blue.

"Are you ready?" Doflamingo asked, gently caressing Law's hair, as if he truly loved him. Law doubted the man even could love anyone. This was not to be in love, even if Doflamingo mistook his warm and intimate feelings for love. No, it was to be obsessed.

"I thought you said you'd bring a couple", Law said, nodding at the lonely cross on the altar. Was Doflamingo only going to sacrifice one person? Then again, it was probably better that way. That way, less innocent people would die because of his sick obsession with Law.

"Ah, I have", Doflamingo smiled and took Law's hand into his. He helped the smaller one stand up, supporting him by wrapping his arm around Law's slim, slim waist. Law wanted to squirm at the touches, but decided not to. He would try to act calm again and wait for another possibility to escape. "But I already killed the other one. This way, this one's emotions will be more intense."

Once again, Law decided to keep his mouth shut. There was no point in being rude right now. He was not sure if Doflamingo could snap at him and kill him, even if he claimed he never would hurt Law. He would not take any risks until he would be completely sure that a possibility to escape was right before his eyes.

Doflamingo brought Law to the altar and made him sit down on the throne-like fitment that had been brought in one minute earlier. After this, the taller man carefully unbuttoned Law's blazer and slid it off Law's lithe body. He did not stop there, but slowly unbuttoned the shirt beneath it too, leaving Law's upper body completely naked.

"You are so beautiful. You do know that right?" the blond man bent closer and planted kisses on Law's chest. The dark-haired male's breath twitched in a queasy manner. This did not stop Doflamingo. Instead it only made him more eager and he bent further down to kiss Law's stomach. He planted kiss after kiss lower and lower, until he reached the waistband of Law's pants. There he stopped, stood up properly again and walked away from the altar. "Soon you will know that, at least."

Swallowing nervously, Law felt how his skin crawled at the places Doflamingo had kissed him. This was unacceptable. He was not going to be treated like this. It was upright terrifying how Doflamingo kept on molesting him, not being able to sense Law's discomfort the slightest. Law was not the kind of man who felt fine with anyone invading his personal space, so the fact that Doflamingo nearly had kissed his crotch area made him utterly disgusted.

His eyes watched Doflamingo walk to the old gramophone and watched how the man exchanged Vivaldi's Four Seasons to a new piece. Admittedly, Law was a bit curious of what the wicked man had chosen this time, even if it most definitely was not the right time to be curious of something as silly as that. His mental inquiry was answered quickly, when Adagio from the ballet Spartacus started playing. It was a very affectionate and emotional piece.

The piece started utterly softly, creating a fairy-tale atmosphere. This time Law didn't imagine snowflakes fluttering down from the sky, but fairies dancing around in the old, rundown church. But among the dancing fairies, a naked woman was carried into the church and was tied to the cross behind Law's back.

Instead of shaking of fear like she should have, the woman was completely still. Law had been able to see how her eyes had been wide open and how she still had been breathing. Had Doflamingo drugged her as well? Well, it didn't matter. She would be killed in a few minutes anyway, even if it was highly deplorable.

Being unable to see the woman behind him, Law felt anxious of what was going to happen. His back was namely facing both the coffin and the cross. But it seemed as if he didn't have to worry, because Doflamingo walked up to him and took his hand in a careful and tender manner:

"Do not worry, my dear. Her soul will fly through the chair and right into you. I will just seal your body with her blood, so that her soul won't fly right through you as well", Doflamingo explained. "I will just take a bit of blood from her and then be back to paint on your cute stomach a little. Your old soul will be pushed out of your body."

The blond man hadn't been lying, because only one minute later, he returned with some blood in a golden beaker. With steady and confident fingers, Doflamingo painted a nearly perfect circle on Law's stomach with the thick, sticky blood. In the middle of the circle, the wicked man painted a triangle that was upside down. Law had no idea of what these symbols meant and would not ask either. Admittedly, Law felt a bit disgusted over the blood smeared on his caramel-skinned body. He had already been covered in sticky blood enough for the past few days.

Whenever Law took care of his patients he would make sure to never dirty himself. Doflamingo was just the opposite, it seemed.

"Now to explain this ritual for you, my future husband", he heard Doflamingo's voice behind him, forasmuch as he had moved back to the cross on the altar. Adagio continued playing in the background, creating a sick, romantic sensation that did not fit Law's current mood at all. "You might be familiar with the saying; the eyes are the mirror of the soul, right?"

"Of course", Law replied with his teeth gritted. Couldn't Doflamingo just end this ritual quickly? Law wanted to sleep to regain his ability to move his body. Or he at least wanted to know what Doflamingo would do after this, when he would discover how this ritual hadn't worked either.

"So, this evening, I am planning to destroy that mirror. That way, her soul will get an opening and will be able to be transported into you", his voice was as soft as ever, which only made Law sicker and sicker. "I have brought a drill with me." To prove himself, Doflamingo drilled with the tool. The nasty noise was gruesomely familiar. This was like a scene from a horror movie, except that this was real life and Law was caught in the middle of it. "I have used a paralyzing drug on our dear victim and so she will not be able to move an inch, not even her eyes. She will still be conscious and understand what is going on."

That was purely sadistic, even in Law's opinion. The poor woman had done absolutely nothing wrong and would be forced to die in a terrible way. She would be trapped there on the cross, completely aware of her surrounding and of what was happening, but wholly unable to move an inch. Her death would be silent – she would not even be able to whimper.

"Then, let us begin", Doflamingo said, a smile could be heard through his voice.

While Adagio's wonderful and soft tones filled the old, somewhat stark church, the sound of a drill merged into the tones. Any sane person would have found the combination utterly unfitting and peculiar, but even Law had to admit that there was a certain degree of grace with mixing brutality with pure sensuality.

Evening sunlight never stopped shining through the mosaic, and as Doflamingo pressed the drill into the pupil of the poor woman, Law watched the reflections of the mosaic with admiring eyes. Adagio's beautiful tune only grew more powerful and powerful, making the heart of Doflamingo ache. He watched how the drill ruined the eyes of the beautiful woman – how the glass-like surface turned into gooey mucus.

Her voice was silent – it did not even exist – and yet everyone present had been able to sense her incredible fear the moment Doflamingo had hold the drill just a few millimeters from her clean, crystal blue eyes. But now – the crystal blueness had been destroyed, had been repainted with red, white and yellow goo. With strong and determined gestures, Doflamingo pressed the drill deeper into her eyeholes, one eyehole at a time, to ensure that the soul would get a proper gate to fly through.

Adagio had reached its more dramatic part. The piece was building up whilst Doflamingo's lips recited something Law impossibly understood. Goosebumps covered Law's skin. The brilliant music made everything feel so magical and pure. He could almost feel fairies dancing around on his skin.

And when the piece reached its peak, Doflamingo pulled the drill away, extended his arms and shouted something in that odd language. It must have been some ancient language, or at least ancient version of the language.

In that exact same moment, Law could swear he felt a cold, almost unnoticeable chill against his back. It might only have been his imagination, but he was almost completely sure that he had been able to feel it.

Now, within him, lay a new soul. His old one was pushed out. New emotions should grow within him. Adagio was as majestic as ever in the background and Doflamingo walked up to Law. The blond man carefully kneeled before Law, tilting his head in a compassionate way. Most of Doflamingo's face and shoulders were covered with the blood of the woman he had brutally murdered.

"To make the last bits of your old soul disappear properly, we will smear your body in meditating oil and herbs", as always, the tone was filled with strange affection. The thick tone made anyone feel disgusted, however, and it seemed as if Doflamingo hadn't understood that.

"Doflamingo-", Law wanted to protest, but was cut off by the long and bony finger Doflamingo pressed against his rosy lips. It left a stain of blood on his lips.

"Say no more", the smile on his lips was different from the earlier smiles. This one was gentle in an arrogant manner. He was looking down on Law. "I know it might take a while for your new soul to settle down and I will be patient. I will give you time to develop your love to me, to ensure that you truly will love me just as much as I love you."

At the same time, Adagio became calmer after its dramatic peak. The majestic orchestra had died out a little and was mostly endlessly emotional for the moment. So soft, so buoyant was Adagio that Law nearly fell asleep. His body felt even more exhausted than earlier, which was highly strange, since he had rested and eaten a nutritious meal. If nothing, his body should at least have been a bit more energetic.

"You might feel a bit tired now, since receiving a new soul is utterly taxing on one's body", as if he had been able to read Law's mind, Doflamingo spoke up again.

As Adagio continued to be soft and caressing in the background, Doflamingo took another golden beaker that obviously was not filled with the blood of the poor woman behind Law's back. Now it was time for Law to be placed somewhere else, as the blond, distinguishably tall man picked him up and laid him down on the coffin between the throne-like chair and the cross where the now dead woman was.

"I will massage your old soul into the coffin, but I will not be able to remove every last bit of it, so there might still be need for some other treatments later", while using an explaining tone, Doflamingo let his enormous hands, which now were drenched in the shining oil, massage Law's upper body gently.

Law merely lay there. He had nothing to say or do. His body felt heavier than ever before and even his eyelids were starting to feel grievously cumbersome. So while the warm hands massaged him in the beat of the soft music, he closed his eyes and tried to think of anything that could help him escape. Swallowing to hide his nausea, Law felt how the other man's hand was dangerously close to his crotch area again. Would Doflamingo expect Law to have sex with him too? The thought was vastly disheartening and anxiety-inducing.

"Soon, you will fall for me, and forget all about that hopeless Monkey D. Luffy", Doflamingo said, voice filled with endless hope and Law wondered if that actually would happen.

§

He woke up.

At first, he did not know where he was. Confusion rippled within him as he looked around himself. Still being able to feel the hands all over his body, he forced himself up from his bed and walked to the window of his bedroom.

Another nightmare.

Kidd had not seen nightmares of his childhood for years. By pushing the memories away, he had not allowed himself to remember. There was no point in remembering the hands all over his innocent, small but mostly naked body. That time was over and he had not seen that woman for years.

Sometimes the redhead wondered if his homosexuality had anything to do with that woman. Would he still have ended up being attracted to men, if she not had ruined women for him? It was impossible to tell, since he could not remember which gender he had been more attracted to as a child, mostly because there had not been many years before that woman had started ruining females for him.

But still, he did not hate women in general. He could not blame an entire gender for something one person had done to him. Instead, he hated people like that – people who saw children as objects for pleasure. It was disgusting. It was so very disgusting. How could anyone be attracted to children? Did not any warning bells ring in their minds when they forced themselves on those children, making them cry and tremble?

The night landscape before his eyes did not soothe him very well. Ever since Trafalgar had disappeared, he had been unusually anxious. It was probably the very same anxiety that had triggered his earlier nightmare. He just hoped that the man would be okay. Kidd really liked Trafalgar, and they had so much in common.

A few minutes later, Kidd shoved his memories aside. He forced the memories of her hands roaming over his body away. He was not going to let that woman ruin his life. She was long gone now and he was not afraid anymore.

§

Every inch of his body ached in one way or another. Some of his ribs had been broken, he had a concussion and he had sprained one of his ankles and broken one of his wrists. It hurt to breathe and his left eye was behind an eyepatch to hide its swollenness. His right cheek felt swollen too and throbbed of pain.

The last few days had been a complete disaster.

Law had fallen asleep when Doflamingo had smeared the oil into his body. The next time he had woken up, he had been dressed in a silky pajama and had been lying in a king-size bed in a huge, posh bedroom. He had been moved to Doflamingo's mansion and had not been happy about it, especially not when he had discovered the blond man sleeping right next to him.

But, instead of throwing a tantrum like he usually did, Law had tried to sneak out of the vigorous and enormous building. That had failed because Vergo had been guarding the bedroom door on the outside and had violently pushed Law back into the bed. Law had of course tried to defend himself and had been positively surprised that his body had worked normally. He had been no match for Vergo, however, and when the young master himself woke up, the two men had forcibly hold him still and drugged him again.

The next time he had woken up, he had been stark naked and lying on a massage table in a spa-like room. Candles had been lit and soft, meditating music had been playing in the background. Oiliness had covered his body while two strangers slowly had pierced needle after needle into his body. They had done acupuncture on him, while he had been completely unable to move his body once again. Only a thin, white blanket had covered his most private organ while the rest of his body had been displayed naked in front of the two strangers.

Later, Doflamingo had explained to him that it only had been a way to make his new soul adapt to its new host. Law had only tried to escape again, enraging Doflamingo again. The blond man couldn't understand why the acupuncture hadn't worked and tried to think of something else that could make Law's new soul fall into its rightful place.

Once again, Law had been drugged. The last thing he had been aware of, had been how Doflamingo had laid down next to him on the bed in the master bedroom, wrapping his long arms around Law's body, pulling the surgeon into his chest. Smell of deodorant had filled his senses and he had dreamt that he had walked around in a perfume store.

When Law had woken up again, he had been in an empty bathtub. His body had been slumberous and slow, but he had tried to look around himself to understand what was going on. He had apparently been placed into a bathtub in a bathroom and had once again been naked. This time absolutely nothing had covered his body and he had felt disgusted by the people around him. Doflamingo had been there as well, explaining that they would try to make the soul within Law calm down by a warm, relaxing mud bath.

Soon thick mud had surrounded Law and the lithe surgeon had only been disgusted by the slimy material around him. After a long while of just lying in the mud, Law had been picked up and been placed in another bathtub. This bathtub had been filled with water and they had cleaned his body of the mud.

Law had tried to escape afterwards again, as soon as his body had returned to normal. He had been very close this time, since he had been lucky and not bumped into any maids or Vergos. But when he had found the front door – after several minutes of anxiously running around – he had been found. Of course he had made Doflamingo enraged again and this time Doflamingo had not even drugged him but had immediately started the last therapy for his body and new soul.

Vergo had beaten him until he had been coughing blood and lost his eyesight. Law didn't like to be covered in blood in first place, but the fact that the blood on his body had been his own had made him very scared – even terrified. He had felt how his ribs had snapped inside of his body and how his head had started to spin in nauseating circles. At some point, his body and mind had gone completely numb and his eyesight completely white. Then everything had gone black and the last thing Law had thought of before losing the ability to think had been that he had given up.

So right now, when he properly had woken up after a few days of sleep and pure pain, he decided to play along. There was no other possibility for him. He could not go on like this forever. Doflamingo had promised to never hurt him, but had still stood and watched how his butler had abused Law until he had lost the ability to even think. Law could swear that he had seen the blond man smirk in satisfaction. He was now completely sure that Doflamingo could easily kill him if Law would piss him off too much. Law could not die – not yet – he still had so many Christians left to kill.

While Law was admiring the detailed and fancy master bedroom, Doflamingo opened the door and carefully entered the room. Law looked up at the man and pushed his feeling of objection away. If he was going to fake that he was in love with Doflamingo, he would do it well. So he shyly averted his eyes and fidgeted nervously, as if Doflamingo's presence excited him.

"You are awake, my dear", Doflamingo pointed out and sat down on the bed, careful not to sit down on Law's body. If Law would have been able to fake a blush, he would have, but he couldn't, so he didn't. Instead he smiled.

"Yes, I feel better now", Law said shyly smiling at the man. Even if the blond one's presence slightly bothered him, he was able to push his true feelings aside and concentrate on fooling the man before him. "Doflamingo… No, Doffy… I, I have something to confess."

Doflamingo blinked at the sudden change, but didn't mind. It seemed as if the soul finally had settled down and as if Law had developed new feelings the time he had been asleep. He took the smaller one's hand and intensely looked into Law's eye, since the other one was covered because of the eyepatch. "What is it, Law?" he asked while he held the elegant, caramel-colored hand in his big, suntanned ones. Ah, it felt so wonderful in his hands. It was meant to be.

"I think I have fallen in love with you", Law said, returning the intense gaze with an affectionate one. This was only the beginning. He would manipulate Doflamingo with his love, until he would find an escape. But first, he had to convince the other man that he was serious, so he grabbed Doflamingo's face with his uninjured hand and kissed him passionately. "Please let me stay by your side, forever."

Doflamingo was perplexed for a couple of seconds, until he gave Law a kiss as well, almost even more passionately than Law had. He rested his forehead against Law's, avoiding the bandages around his head, and was not able to see any kind of repulse in Law's beautiful eye. Instead, the eye looked at him with love. And he looked back at Law with the same love. The two of them had always been made for each other – he had always known it.

"Forever", Doflamingo said and meant it.
