Author's Note: Well here we go, a few days before the Christmas ball arrives and certain problems occur. (Please excuse me for having no knowledge on dancing in any way)

Heather:

Heather couldn't believe that they were able to clean up an entire ballroom in just 4 days. The ballroom itself was in such a horrible condition when they had first started, and Heather could barely stay in there long enough to clean it properly.

But because of some hard work (and the bribery of allowing the cleaning crew Heather had hired to attend the ball) they finished early, which had given her enough time to go out and pick up something elegant and formal for the ball. This itself proved to be a much more difficult challenge than Heather had expected with the fact that she was unable to receive a driver's license quickly or be able to buy anything without the use of a credit card.

Not to mention Heather was in charge of preparing everything related to Alejandro and Esmerelda's matrimony. Which by itself, was time consuming and stressful. Alejandro and Esmerelda's taste and personalities clashed with each other so often, that it was a miracle when they were finally able to compromise on one thing.

Earlier that week:

"No, no, NO!" Esmerelda yelled in disagreement. "Dark red?! What are we? Vampires?" Tossing the color schemes out of Alejandro's hand.

"I'd rather we choose something more cheerful in order to celebrate" Esmerelda stated, crossing her arms stubbornly to her chest.

Raising an eyebrow, Alejandro slightly glared at Esmerelda as she ranted on and on about how this ball should be more cheerful if they plan on announcing their marriage.

Heather just sat back into the couch and watched them continually argue. She suddenly had the urge to tear her hair out and scream as loud as she could. This is ridiculous! Heather mentally screamed at both of them. How long could they possibly keep going at this?

When they both had quieted down at some degree, Heather jumped in saying "Why can't there be dark and light colors? Surely there has to be something acceptable that can fit both of your certain requirements."

Thinking, Heather came up with colors schemes that she thought would work perfectly in order to stop this bickering.

"Obviously I have to agree with dark colors in this ball.." Heather said as Alejandro smiled triumphantly.

"But light colors would be good as well." Heather continued with as Esmerelda glared back at Alejandro.

"What about a black and white ball? With the most popular Christmas colors: red and green?" Heather asked, "That way Alejandro get's black and dark red, while Esmerelda get's white and emerald green."

As Heather hesitantly finished off her suggestion, she watched Alejandro and Esmerelda hoping for some kind of sign of approval. In all honesty, this was the first thing that had popped into her mind and she hoped it would work out well. After a few minutes of consideration, Alejandro and Esmerelda had come to realize that this was possibly the best that they could do unless one of them stepped down of command, which wasn't going to happen.

"I can agree with this proposition, seems reasonable to say in the least" Alejandro said in approval. Heather sighed with relief, but had to await for Esmerelda's answer. She certainly wasn't someone to compromise on anything. Nor would Heather ever want to compromise, especially not with someone as overbearing as Alejandro, but this argument had been going on for far too long.

"Fine, but you better not turn on me and change the colors just because you like dark colors as much as Alejandro." Esmerelda lightly joked. "Probably not" Heather said sarcastically, rolling her eyes. Heather was in no mood to go and do something like that, after all, they were paying her.

Present:

Heather already had plenty of "dresses", that is, if sun dresses counted as something formal you could wear to events like the ball. If she was going to look professional in front of the Burromuerto family, she had to at least look like it. She didn't need anymore trouble with the business of being a wedding planner if the family wouldn't approve.

Besides, Heather wanted to get some new clothes to wear since almost every piece of cloth she brought with her were made for ice, wind and snow, not the heat and tropical weather of Spain. She already had enough heat to deal with, in the shape of a very hot-blooded and rather hot-headed Spaniard.

Going out shopping would be her chance to get something new to wear, and she had grown tired and annoyed of sun dresses in general. Fashion is a big part in Heather's life so she wouldn't dare miss out on chance for a shopping spree.

When Heather had mentioned that she was going out to a little store she had seen that accepted cash, Esmerelda instantly decided that then and there, she would have to show Heather to a "proper" mall.

At first, Heather was quite skeptical going shopping with Esmerelda, but she realized discovered that Esmerelda wasn't as bad as she had originally thought. Yes, Esmerelda was still happy and bubbly but Heather soon was able to tolerate her very happy characteristic, after all, she had spent an entire Total Drama season with Sierra.

Esmerelda had driven them over to her favorite mall, but the ride there was very.. unsafe. If Heather could, she would have driven instead but Esmerelda insisted because Heather was the "guest" that she should drive. "And besides.." Esmerelda continued to explain, "Alejandro never lets me drive whenever we go somewhere!" stubbornly sitting in the driver's seat.

Thinking, Heather thought sarcastically Gee I wonder why? as she nervously got into the car's passenger seat.

This had made for the scariest trip that Heather had taken since TDWT. Okay, so Chef wasn't the best pilot for a plane, but that was nothing compared to Esmerelda right now, as she raced right through a yellow light. Heather would have taken flying in a plane with Chef piloting than Esmerelda driving a car in a heartbeat.

When they had somewhat, safely made it into the parking lot, Heather felt dizzy, light-headed and bruised. But Esmerelda didn't notice, she was too busy, clearly excited to show Heather the "greatest" mall in all of Spain that she had spoken very fondly of.

As Heather stepped out of the car, she gasped for some fresh air and clutched on to the car door, head spinning. As soon as Heather felt like she could walk upright again, Esmerelda grabbed her hand and starting pulling her closer and closer to the front entrance.

Heather had to admit, the mall that Esmerelda had chosen was quite a spectacular sight. It was huge for one thing, almost completely made of glass so you could see every store and the activity inside, though later Heather discovered that the view was both amazing yet terrifying. The front featured a huge fountain and plenty of Christmas lights covering every palm tree.

But inside was probably three times better, everything was decorated for Christmas, and every level had a completely different Christmas theme.

Heather was extremely impressed, but soon realized, looking around, that there wasn't as many people here as she had expected. A fairly large amount of the stores were having sales and discounts. Heather, very surprised, asked Esmerelda why the mall was so.. dead.

"Oh well you see, Christmas is all about the snow, so a lot of people get out of Spain to have a white Christmas somewhere else." Esmerelda explained, distracted by a perfume shop just across the way.

Nodding her head, Heather went "Yeah I guess that does make sense.." understanding the feeling. Esmerelda squealed and ran into a Levi's store, leaving Heather behind. Heather just smirked, shaking her head as she just followed Esmerelda inside.

Almost every store that they went into was having a sale of some sort, so Esmerelda insisted on paying for Heather's clothes since she wanted to shop in the first place. Heather tried to talk Esmerelda out of it, but she had her mind made up and wouldn't hear of it.

Heather could only watch in complete surprise (and somewhat gratitude) as Esmerelda paid for just about everything that Heather had picked out. Heather was actually secretly glad that Esmerelda was willingly paying. One good thing about Esmerelda was that money was no object to her, and she (rather stupidly) spent it freely. Chuckling, Heather wondered exactly how Alejandro would react when he got Esmerelda's credit card bill in January.

As they put all of Heather's new clothes away in the car for a second trip back into the mall again, Heather suddenly remembered exactly why they had driven here in the first place. So while Esmerelda was reading a text message from a friend, Heather said "Okay, I think I have enough clothes to last me for a couple of months. We should really go and get something to wear for your big ball".

Esmerelda then put her phone away, grinning happily before saying "Yeah.. well if we're gonna do that.. we have to bring some certain people with us, don't we?" Winking at Heather before turning around, and activating her smartphone screen.

"E-Excuse me?! But- I- are you sure that's such a good idea?" Heather stammered effectively knowing exactly who she was talking about.

"Oh come on Heather! I'm pretty sure they want to see us try on just a few dresses.." Esmerelda teased, nudging Heather's arm "It'll be fun modeling for them!"

After a few minutes of bickering with Esmerelda on whether the men should come along or not, Heather knew she couldn't keep arguing with Esmerelda like this. So she gave in half-heartedly. Still, she didn't like the idea of Alejandro coming over, it made her feel quite uncomfortable yet she wanted him to see her, causing her stomach to churn nervously.

Just the thought of this made Heather blush, but she quickly shook the feeling off. Snap out of it Heather! Heather thought confidently.

"Alright then, call Alejandro and I'll call Ricardo" Heather determinedly said. With a happy grin, Esmerelda squealed before quickly typing in Alejandro's number. Dialing on her phone, Heather wondered exactly if this was such a good idea after all, but before she could change her mind, Ricardo picked up.

"Hey Heather! What ya calling for? Is it about Esmerelda?" Ricardo asked hopefully.

Rolling her eyes, Heather interrupted Ricardo's questioning fast enough and said "Well me and Esmerelda have to try on some dresses before we pick them out and, well, would you care to come? Esmerelda insisted that you and Alejandro show up so.." Heather dragged on, hinting to Ricardo.

She could almost see Ricardo grin stupidly as he said 'Oh really? Heck yeah I'm coming! Oh! I see Alejandro, I'm gonna ask for a ride, see you soon!". Ricardo said hurriedly. Heather could hear Ricardo call out to Alejandro just as he ended the phone call.

Smirking, Heather could just imagine Alejandro tense up as Ricardo called out for him. If Alejandro thinks the way she does, he would make the ride as dangerous and reek less as possible so Ricardo won't dare ask for a ride back home.

Esmerelda told Heather that Alejandro and Ricardo were to meet with them at Angela's, a dress boutique just upstairs. As Heather and Esmerelda made their way up to the escalators, Heather thought nervously of Alejandro staring at her again only this time in something that would show off her entire body. Heather shuddered, flushed and heart fluttering right out of her chest.

Alejandro would certainly say something, which caused her to start and blush again, but she quickly snapped out of it and tried to stay focused as she and Esmerelda made their way into the boutique.

Walking around and looking at very unique dresses, Heather knew that she was not going to get anything that was too short or too long, and nothing that will make the dress fluffy at all. And of course, no more bright and happy colors. She has had enough of "happy" colors with those stupid sun dresses. Her dress was either going to be black or red.

I really hope this store will have just what I want.. Heather thought. Even she knew her specific request may be a little hard to find. Sighing, she made her way to a rack of dresses hoping to find something. After what it seemed like an hour Heather had found 3 dresses she really liked that had actually fit her specific requirements.

It appeared that Alejandro and Ricardo weren't going to show up soon enough, so Heather made her way into a dressing room. As she tried on the first dress, she could hear Esmerelda squeal happily. You're kidding me right?! Heather thought starting to panic, as she zipped the dress up.

The whole reason she started trying on the dresses now was so that Alejandro wouldn't see her! She then heard Esmerelda talk to Ricardo and Alejandro. Alejandro asked curiously, "Where's Heather?" though he was trying to sound like he wasn't very interested in her whereabouts at all.

Esmerelda then answered with "Oh, she's in the dressing room, and I think she's trying on the first dress now, Heather! Why don't you come out?" calling out Heather's name a few more times. Oh I really don't think I should... Heather thought as she started to stall for time, pacing back and forth in the dressing room.

Eventually, Heather just crossed her arms fed up trying to hide, (it just wasn't like her) and walked out wearing a long, dark red dress. It was strapless and slightly shimmered, coming all the way down to her ankles but had a split for her left leg. She tried to act as if it wasn't a big deal, arms still crossed as Alejandro stared at her. Heather started to feel warm and uncomfortable as Alejandro stared at her with admiration.

As Alejandro opened his mouth to speak, Heather was bracing herself for the absolute worst. But Ricardo interrupted saying "Heather, that's a pretty good dress, you wanna just get that one?".

Heather and Alejandro were both greatly annoyed by Ricardo's somewhat rude comment. Heather could see Alejandro's face transform from admiration to annoyance in less than 5 seconds flat and Heather knew she probably wasn't looking any happier. She could almost hear Alejandro say "Great date he is".

Ricardo was probably paying no attention to her, only staring at Esmerelda, who wore a knee-high bright green dress. But when Heather did turn to look in Ricardo's general direction, he wasn't. He actually was looking at Heather with a very intrigued look upon his face. Is he seriously trying to make Esmerelda jealous right now?! Heather thought panicking and nervously glancing at Alejandro.

It actually wasn't a bad idea, what he did, it had certainly gotten Esmerelda's attention but Heather hated the staring. She then muttered, stiff "I'm just gonna try the other dresses.." as she stumbled and rushed back into the dressing room. When she had closed the door, she slowly opened it a crack, and saw Alejandro crossing his arms, glaring at Ricardo.

This just gets worse and worse... Heather thought hoping something could happen, perhaps a meteor that destroys the mall would be lovely. So as the hours continued, Heather and Esmerelda tried on the dresses. Esmerelda loved it, twirling around and getting a few smiling faces attention but Heather hated every second of it, just coming out to get an opinion from her "date", which was weird. Heather would usually love to put on a show and grab everyone's attention but having Alejandro stare at her made her feel like a goddess, but of course she could never admit that. It would raise far too many questions and so much chaos.

Grunting, Heather just got the first dress she tried on because Ricardo "liked" it so much. She had to admit, she really liked the dress too so that was probably the only reason why she got it. Ricardo was not very good when it came to style or, really, fashion in general but he liked this dress so he might actually know something about fashion. But then again, he liked all the dresses she had tried on.

As they paid for their dresses at the cashiers, Heather hoped that she could just go straight home after this. She really didn't want to stay out in public anymore after what had happened.

As they made their way to the parking lot, Ricardo went "Hey Esmerelda, can you drive me back to the mansion? I think you're a faster driver" nervously holding on to his stomach and glancing at Alejandro. Alejandro just innocently stood there smirking at his success.

So Alejandro had given Ricardo a bumpy ride.. Heather thought, chuckling. Esmerelda agreed to take Ricardo, so Heather was going with Alejandro. Alejandro opened the car door for Heather and she sat down before realizing too late that she was going to go alone with him.

Before Heather could protest and take a step out, Alejandro hurriedly shut the door. It seems that Alejandro knew exactly what kind of situation they were in and wanted to take advantage of that. Heather gulped nervously as Alejandro swiftly got into the driver's seat.

As the car headed up into the road, the light turned green and Alejandro made a quick sharp right turn into a long road, causing Heather to knock her head on the window. Alejandro then began to nervously eye Heather from time to time as if thinking of what to say to her. Finally speaking though it came out in such a weak voice, Alejandro hesitantly went, "Heather, I know you said that you were just going with Ricardo to the ball as a friend, but..." Alejandro muttered before going silent with a face full of concern and curiosity.

Heather thought about this, yes Ricardo did seem a little... interested. It was all an act! Right? He loves Esmerelda, case closed, Heather thought to reassure herself.

"Yeah well, even if that was the case, I would never date him. So don't worry about it, Ricardo does not have feelings for me" Heather said but unsure if what she said about Ricardo was true. Alejandro didn't look at her, but he nodded, still doubtful himself, with eyes now fixed on the road. Heather silently sat there playing with her hairband. This has got to be the most awkward moment in my entire life Heather thought miserably. She wanted to say something, anything to make things a little bit less... tense for both of them, but her mind was blank.

All she could do was sigh, and stare out the window, watching as they passed houses and buildings. Eventually Alejandro turned left and they suddenly appeared in the driveway. Heather felt empty inside, because Alejandro was so upset and confused, she felt slightly sick.

Heather felt ridiculous though, why should she feel like this? If Alejandro was feeling sad that was his problem. Not hers. As soon as Alejandro pulled the key out of the engine, he muttered "Well, it's been a lovely drive with you" before he stepped out of the driver's seat into the driveway far too quickly.

Heather still sat there feeling like she just betrayed Alejandro, even though there was nothing for him to actually be jealous of. Heather could never be interested in Ricardo, there was something about him that annoyed Heather greatly like Cody, but he was still a good friend.

As Heather slowly stepped out of the car, Esmerelda ran into the house and came back with a pink duffel bag. Oh no.. Heather thought as she groaned.

Heather had completely forgotten that Esmerelda was making Heather go with her to a dance class. This was unnecessary for Heather since she was already quite the gifted dancer in ballroom dancing.

Nevertheless, Esmerelda was too embarrassed to go alone and begged Heather to join her. Heather agreed, regretting it now more then ever. She was in no mood to go anywhere else but what reason does she have? That she's very frustrated with the man she loves who happens to be marrying Esmerelda?

No, Heather would have to suck it up and hope for the best, just like she has ever since she moved here.

Alejandro:

Alejandro's heart was still racing as he stepped, or more accurately, jumped out of the driver's seat. Why was talking to Heather becoming more and more difficult for him?

His mind raced with the thoughts of everything that had just happened. First, Esmerelda had asked for him to meet her and Heather at the mall for dress shopping which Alejandro happily agreed to. He wouldn't dare miss seeing Heather wearing such fine clothes for anything, but that butter donkey, Ricardo, asked for a ride, which ruined things for himself.

He knew that he would not take Ricardo back into his car after the girls found dresses to wear so Alejandro took the longest and most down hill roads he could. Alejandro could stomach such a bumpy ride but it was obvious that Ricardo could not as he looked quite green by the time Alejandro turned left into the parking lot.

His plan had worked perfectly which satisfied him completely but that was nothing compared to when he found Heather stunningly beautiful in a red wine colored dress. It showed off every part of her body which caused Alejandro's heartbeat to quicken.

Alejandro felt like he needed to say out loud how beautiful Heather looked so everyone knew, forgetting of the consequences that could have occurred. Heather seemed to be waiting for his answer as she stared intensely at him, arms crossed. As he was about to fulfill his deed, Ricardo cut in with such a rude and uncaring comment that Alejandro felt like it was meant to offend Heather more then compliment her.

"Heather, that's a pretty good dress, you wanna just get that one?" What a stupid compliment. Or rather, a stupid sentence in general. Heather deserved so much more attention than that.

Obviously, Ricardo was not a romantic type of man. He couldn't even care less for Heather or so it seemed because when Alejandro turned to him, Ricardo was actually staring at Heather. Instantly, Alejandro didn't like Ricardo staring at her like that. He cared for her! He loved her far more than anyone he has ever known.

He, mentally, was screaming at Ricardo to look away, which (in a sense) worked. For Ricardo realized exactly what he was doing and shamefully turned away.

Heather tried on the other dresses but the first one suited her the best (in Alejandro's opinion) and that was the one she decided to get.

With the thought of Ricardo in love with Heather whirling in his mind, he wanted, no, needed to talk to Heather of this ridiculous idea. He knew that this was probably far from the truth but that didn't stop him from getting overly jealous for her. He knew that he was taking a huge risk asking Heather about this since that previous discussion on jealousy but he couldn't take it anymore!

When he had gotten the perfect opportunity to speak privately with Heather, he somehow had ruined his own chances by not pressing the matter of Ricardo more firmly enough. All he got out of Heather was "Yeah well, even if that was the case, I would never date him. So don't worry about it, Ricardo does not have feelings for me". Alejandro hoped he could believe what she said was true, but she said the words so unsure of herself, it didn't make things easier for him.

When they had finally made their way into the driveway, Esmerelda ran into the house only to come back with a pink duffel bag. Que? What is going on? Alejandro quickly thought as he noticed Heather smacking herself on the forehead.

"Sorry! I forgot to tell you guys that me and Heather are going to a dance class!" Esmerelda announced somewhat proudly.

Alejandro snorted, Heather? Dance class?. Surely this was a joke, Heather didn't require dance lessons, she was already gifted enough as it was. But his suspicions were confirmed as Heather was following Esmerelda to her car.

His mind was whirling in motion, perhaps if he tagged along he could finally talk to Heather..? The plan itself was pathetic but Heather might just lock herself in her room afterwards.

"Esmerelda! Heather! Mind if I join?" Alejandro asked.

"You? But you're already a great dancer." Esmerelda asked curiously.

Esmerelda was questioning, which wasn't a good sign. Swallowing his pride he reluctantly said, "Well I think it would be a perfect opportunity to practice a dance together to show at the ball. Don't you agree? Honey?" Saying all of that, Alejandro felt a wave of disgust wash over him. And felt sick to his stomach as Heather rudely snorted to "honey". Usually he enjoyed manipulating women's hearts but he had to be careful with Esmerelda, they were meant to "marry" after all.

"Aww Really? Well in that case you have to come!" Esmerelda oozed out sounding lovesick. Of course she would be, no one has ever been able to resist him, well, except Heather for the most part.

While he was in his own thought of Heather, Esmerelda jumped in for a kiss. She had gotten better Alejandro had to admit. But what he was completely caught off-guard to Heather. She was startled and stared at them for a few minutes before realizing Alejandro acknowledged her, and blushed, swiftly turning her head to something else. Has jealousy gotten the better of her? Alejandro thought intrigued.

This idea was both pleasant yet horrible. He didn't need Heather jealous or angry, especially not if he planned to talk to her in a (hopefully) calm manner. When Esmerelda pulled away, smiling idiotically, she pulled Alejandro to the front passenger seat with her, leaving Heather in the back.

Esmerelda driving was bad enough, but Alejandro was slightly uncomfortable with Heather in the back glaring at him. When they had made it to the Dance Center, Heather swiftly got out and practically ran up to the front. Alejandro was somewhat confused, was she trying to avoid them?

She patiently waited at the counter until Esmerelda and Alejandro walked up the stairs, tapping her foot. When Alejandro had paid for their admission fee, they walked in, and Alejandro was completely in awe of the beauty of the Dance Center. They had covered every inch of the place with green, blue, red and white. Quite festive.

Alejandro led the way to room 201, where they were all going to practice. Esmerelda changed into some more moveable clothes, as in a tank top and shorts. Heather changed into a purple tank top and sweatpants. Alejandro himself, had to change into gray sweatpants and take off his red wine shirt, showing off his chest and the Burromuerto family necklace in his tank top.

Esmerelda winked at him in a flirtatious manner, but Heather rolled her eyes, annoyed by him. When they walked in, luckily, there was an even amount of men and women so not as many as the girls paid attention to him. That, however, didn't stop a few girls from batting their eyes at him and flirtatiously waving at him, which Alejandro smiled politely to, in return.

As the class started, Alejandro noticed that a few boys were flirting with Heather as well, but she brushed them aside, only paying attention to the front. As the door opened, Alejandro hoped the instructor would be female in order for him to be able to charm her and gain access to talk to Heather.

And just his luck, the instructor was a women with long yellow-gold hair, strong built and powerful-looking. Just in her early 20's. It may be difficult, but Alejandro was sure he would even be able to capture this women's heart as well.

But she was too focused on getting class started that she just ordered everyone to get down to start off stretching. Apparently Esmerelda wasn't the only beginner in class, because almost everyone had trouble stretching their arms and legs to full length. Only Heather and himself could go all the way, with great ease.

After 20 minutes of stretching, the instructor told them that they could rest for five minutes. A chorus of sighing relief filled the room as everyone stopped moving around. Alejandro and a few others, had gotten up to stretch some more. He could see the instructor sitting leisurely in a chair in the back of the room.

Just as he was about to walk up to her, she called out "Alright! Here's our first lesson in ballroom dancing! Everyone find a partner!" and Alejandro instantly found himself face-to-face with Esmerelda. Darting his eyes around the room, Heather had found herself a partner as well, a skinny boy who used far too much hair gel.

The boy grinned at Heather but she was disgusted by him and just practiced the steps at the best of her ability. As Alejandro and Esmerelda swiftly moved between other couples, the girls stared at him, distracting themselves.

"Okay now that you have covered the basics, and just to make things a little more... interesting" The instructor went, "We'll make this into a little competition, the last remaining guy and gal will receive a month's worth of free dance lessons of their choice, together"

This had caught Alejandro's attention almost immediately, free dance lessons for a whole month? Alejandro knew he could beat everyone in here quite easily and he had no doubt that Heather could beat them all as well

And so the competition began, and the instructor was not going to let anyone pass up. If you missed even a single step and she caught you, she kicked you out. Esmerelda was quickly taken out and Alejandro found himself with a new dance partner. She tried to flirt and talk to him but Alejandro ignored her, distracted by and eyeing Heather.

She had come far with a new partner as well. Better looking than the first, but Heather still wasn't interested in any of the boys here, which Alejandro was relieved for. As the number of the dancers grew smaller and smaller, eventually there were only two pairs of dancers left, Alejandro with some girl (Rachel was it?) and Heather with a well-built boy.

Then as soon as Rachel and the boy were out of the way, Alejandro found Heather in his arms. They continued dancing to the music, expertly moving step-by-step. With the last beat coming into to place, they struck a pose as the music ended, and received a round of applause. They both panted, clearly exhausted from an hours worth of dancing, and took a bow.

Clapping her hands, the instructor rose up shouting "Now those are some dancers! Excellent work! You two definitely earned those free dance lessons. Alright, class dismissed!"

Alejandro was so exhausted and sweaty that he took his tank top off, causing a whole mess of girls to scream in delight. Heather than effectively pulled Alejandro away from the girls and confronted him in the locker room.

"Okay, what are you doing?" Heather asked in a very commanding way, glaring at Alejandro.

"Surely I don't have to explain it to you, we were dancing"

"Just dancing" Heather repeated in mocking disbelief. "You were practically planning to do this weren't you?" Pointing a accusing finger to his chest.

Of course Alejandro had planned this, but he would never admit that to Heather.

Quietly wincing and pulling her hand and rather sharp nails away from him, he went "I haven't the slightest clue of what you mean, but I suggest you get ready, we'll be leaving the Dance Center soon" he suggested, grinning in a cocky manner.

Heather then scoffed, "You're unbelievable.." as she pulled her hand out of his grasp, swiftly spinning around and storming off.

Alejandro shouted out "You dance beautifully" in such a cool manner that it caused her to stop and look back at him.

"Thanks.." Heather muttered and then added, examining Alejandro, "And please put on a shirt before a mob of girls attack you" shaking her head before kicking the exit door open.

Alejandro chuckled, stuffing his tank top into Esmerelda's bag. It was far too covered in sweat to use anymore, so he just wore his red wine colored shirt, unbuttoned, of course.

Heather:

As Heather stomped her way out of the locker room, her mind starting buzzing with thoughts. Jerk! Gotta get out of here. Maybe some fresh air will clear my mind.. Heather thought to herself before she came face-to-face with about 14 glaring girls.

"What?" Heather snapped at all of them. They were all taken back by Heather's viciousness, until one girl (who was ignorant enough), stood up to her.

"What makes you think you get to have free dance lessons with Alejandro?" she asked in slightly broken English trying to sound confident.

Heather laughed, she had destroyed girls like this back when she was still in high school. Does this girl have any idea what she's up against? Alejandro himself had pissed her off enough but this girl right in front of her was about to send Heather off her wit's end.

"Well probably because I won the competition?" Heather sarcastically replied with crossing her arms impatiently waiting for an answer. The girl was taken back, but (still obviously ignorant) shot back with "That's not what I meant!"

Right as Heather was about to use a very long string of curse words that would have surely gotten her kicked out of the Dance Center, Alejandro appeared by her side, with his hand on her shoulder. Heather suddenly noticed all the girls were suddenly staring at Alejandro, but their eyes weren't exactly fixed towards his face.

Glancing behind her, she saw that he was only wearing his red wine shirt, unbuttoned, showing off his bare chest. Heather blushed, and squirmed at the sight, and with 14 pairs of envious eyes glaring, it didn't help her in the least bit. "What's going on?" Alejandro asked, then frowned "Were all of you trying to scare Heather?"

Heather almost burst out laughing, scared? Heather hasn't been scared of girls like these since, ever. But Alejandro seemed serious about this and said "I am very disappointed in you ladies, picking on Heather like this" as he shook his head in disapproval and practically wrapped his arms around Heather's waist pushing her with him towards the exit, as the girls parted to make a clear path for them.

When they both made it outside safely, Heather almost burst out laughing, "Really? Disappointed? Where did you learn to act like such a gentlemen?" pushing herself away from his grasp.

Alejandro was somewhat surprised by Heather's reply. "Well of course I am a gentlemen, it's in my blood as a Burromuerto"

"Yeah well, nice try, making those girls ashamed of themselves. Now I'm positive they'll be spreading rumors about me for weeks" Heather said with an amused look on her face.

"I doubt it, I can assure you I'll make sure those girls leave you be. No one is able to say no to me" Alejandro said confidently.

"Except me that is" Heather replied with. She wouldn't let Alejandro think he had a control over anybody, especially her, even though that wasn't entirely true.

"I could certainly prove you wrong.." Alejandro said in a teasing manner. Heather however struck this as a actual challenge and stepped forward, wrapping her arms around his neck.

Every nerve in Heather's body was screaming that this was completely wrong and she should just stop right now but before she could, Alejandro moved in closer. He effectively wrapped his arms around her waist, and they just leaned in slowly.

Alejandro was surprised by Heather's forward behavior, but he certainly didn't protest or stop in any way. They just stood there for a few minutes, enjoying their time being so close together. As they stared at each other, Heather felt like they had all the time in the world. Until Heather's phone rang, interrupting their wonderful little day dream.

Sighing with disappointment and relief from the disruption, she dropped her arms down to her sides and answered the phone call.

It was Esmerelda, "Hey I'll be by our car in a few minutes okay? Hold on!"

"Sure thing Esmerelda" Heather tiredly answered back with. Alejandro reached out for Heather's hand again but Heather pushed herself away and walked off keeping a far enough distance from Alejandro.

As she glanced back, his hurt and disappointed look filled her mind. She couldn't believe she went as far as to do that. What if someone had seen them? Or worse, what if Esmerelda had seen? She had gotten lucky, but she was playing a very dangerous game.

When Esmerelda had finally shown up, she hurriedly got into the driver's seat.

"Come on you two! Let's get a move on!"

"Alright" Heather and Alejandro answered simultaneously, before looking at one another in disbelief.

"STOP that!" they yelled at each other.

"AUGH!" they screamed in unison, frustrated.

As Heather sat down in the back, she thought in resentment Great, I now get to spend even more time with that arrogant, cocky jerk of a man.

But Heather had far more stressful things to worry about, and by that, she meant the biggest social gathering she has ever hosted, for a family who probably hates her for what she did to their youngest son.

Would everything work out right? Heather had no idea at this point, but she could hope for it, couldn't she?

Author's Note: HERE TAKE IT, HERES THE *AMAZING* CHAPTER THAT TOOK ME 2 MONTHS TO CREATE. Anyway, I am really sorry it took me so long. I saw the messages and people asking me where the new chapter was. Well HERE it is. And trust me the ball chapters are going to be very.. drama filled with Heather meeting the entire Burromuerto family, Ricardo (maybe) in love with Heather? (We'll see about that), and Alejandro's big brother, Jose making an entrance.
