Happily Ever After
The four of them sat in the grass in silence.
Lambo had sprawled out on his back like a starfish. Ipin sat by his hip, her back leaning against him. Bluebell laid near Lambo's feet, flat on her stomach with her legs swinging in the air behind her. Nozaru laid with his head on Ipin's lap and his feet resting on the small of Bluebell's back.
Above them the clouds moved and the sun shone brightly.
"It's not like graduating changes a whole lot," Nozaru said. They'd been sitting there for what seemed like hours and it felt like something had to be said finally.
"Doesn't it though?" Bluebell mused. "We're not kids anymore. We're full fledged members of our families."
Lambo snorted. "I've always been a full fledged member of the Vongola. I've got the ring to prove it."
After a moment, Ipin said, "Lambo is right. We've always been members of our families. We've gone on missions and to all of the alliance parties." Her lips curled up into a smile, "But that didn't effect us before and it won't effect us now. We're the same, just a little more grown up."
