A/N: Hey guys! I apologize to those who had to read this as one big block of text. Something went wrong with the doc _ . Anyways I hope you guys are excited for season 2 and the use of OCs.

I have gotten a bunch of super cool OCs and I wish I could use them all. But I do want to make these characters myself and not make it entirely OCs. Not everyone's OC will be used. The only OC I have used so far is DragonCrusader's (Golden). Besides that neither me or my co-writer has made decisions on OCs. I apologize if I do not use yours but they may make a small role later or show up as a key character much later in the season or in season 3. As always, if you have questions or suggestions just message me or comment. Hope you guys like it!

Forta: "[screaming] AAAHH!"

[Forta sits straight up. It's the middle of the night in the dirt and sand house on the shore of the new place. The day and night before were spent crossing the river and making the makeshift house. Forta tries to focus on something to distract her from the nightmare she awoke from. But she can't see anything, it's pitch black. She curls back up under Steve's arm.]

Steve: "Hey sweetie you ok?"

Forta: "I had a bad dream."

Steve: "What happened in it?"

Forta: "I killed Aina."

Steve: "Well...did you?"

Forta: "Hell no. She died in the explosion. I already told you that. I told you that a milion times. I told both of you. Nobody fucking believes me. Why don't you trust me?"

Steve: "I'm sorry. I just wanted to be sure."

Forta: "She gave me her diary."

Steve: "Should we read it?"

Shiko "No."

[Forta's eyes fall to where she knows Shiko is laying on the floor but still only sees black.]

Shiko: "That's her privacy. We have to respect it."

Steve: "But she gave it to her."

Shiko: "No. There is very little left of her. She lives in our memories, but her privacy lives in that book. Leave it alone."

Forta: "But it might have something we can use, how Kreten got his… powers?"

Shiko: "I don't care how Kreten got his goddamn powers. He's dead, he's dead and that's what matters."

Kiki: "What's going on?"

Shiko: "Nothing hon, go back to sleep."

[Forta stares up at the ceiling.]

Forta: "She wanted me to. She said it."

Steve: "Are you sure?"

[Forta nods, then realizes it's too dark for Shiko to see.]

Forta: "Yes I promise."

Shiko: "You can read it in the morning. Night."

[Shiko turns over and closes his eyes. Forta snuggles into Steve's arm and falls back asleep.]

Scene 2:

[The sun just came up and Forta is sitting outside, her back against the house. She is reading Aina's diary. She stares at the book and starts to read. Her eyes dart across the page as Shiko comes out of the house.]

Shiko: "Find anything?"

[Forta stares at the page in horror.]

Forta: "Oh my god."

Shiko: "What? What's going on?!"

[Shiko snatches the diary from her and rapidly reads.]

Shiko: "Oh I-I had no idea."

Forta: "Neither did I.

Shiko: "She was having so many nightmares and Kreten, Kreten did...that thing...what did he do to her?"

Forta: "If you keep reading, she says what he did. He uh..god."

Shiko: "Fuck."

[Shiko slumps down next to Forta with his back against the wall as well.]

Shiko: "Why didn't she tell me?"

Forta: "Kreten may have killed you if you knew."

[Steve comes out from the house and stares at his two friends.]

Steve: "Find anything?"

[Shiko puts his head in his hands and doesn't answer.]

Forta: "There was a group before us. She writes what she remembers about them. But she mostly talks about how Kreten haunted her before they settled in the camp."

Steve: "What do you mean?"

Forta: "She talks about how she could see him and hear him, but no one else could. He would come to her in the middle of the night and scare her and stuff. She would scream but no one would believe her. They thought she was crazy and treated her like she was. Kreten then started killing off her group and make it look like an accident. After the group was dead, she would find more people but Kreten would do the same thing every time. He was gone for a while in between the last group and us, then she happened upon the camp where me and Shiko were. He threatened to kill her if she left. The night she went to his house he showed her all the bodies of the people she knew who he killed. He said it would happen again if she didn't play along. And then showed her the TNT."

[Shiko is silently crying now.]

Steve: "Dear god...I'm so sorry Shiko. I had no clue."

Shiko: "[sob] Neither did I."

Forta: "Some of her last words were that she loved you very much. She wanted you to be safe."

[Shiko wipes his eyes with his sleeve.]

Shiko: "I know. She was beautiful in that way. She was the complete opposite of me. I killed for her, and she died for me."

Forta: "I'm sorry Shiko."

Shiko: "Don't be, it was wrong of me to accuse you of murder."

Forta: "I could have saved her. If I stayed a moment longer, I could have saved her. But she told me to go."

Shiko: "What?"

Forta: "She wanted me to leave her there. She told me her legs were broken and she wasn't worth it."

[Shiko shook his head.]

Shiko: "I can't fucking believe this is happening. It's all a dream isn't it. I'm going to wake up and Aina will be in my arms and the sun will be rising in the camp."

Forta: "I'm sorry Shiko. It's not a dream. I wish it was too."

Shiko: "I'm going back to sleep."

[Shiko gets up and goes back inside. Forta and Steve can hear from inside the house.]

Kiki's voice: "What are we doing today?"

Shiko's voice: "Sleeping."

Nevin's voice: "Are you ok?"

Shiko's voice: "Yes Nevin, go back to sleep."

[Steve sits down next to Forta and puts an arm around her.]

Steve: "I know this is a weird time to talk about this but...uhm. What exactly are we?"

[Forta chuckles sadly.]

Forta: "Shouldn't you just be glad you're alive? Or sad Aina is dead. You were close with her."

Steve: "I'm fucking upset. I'm just as upset as the two of you. But I would like to focus on the good things I have in my life, like you."

[Forta shakes her head, holding back a smile.]

Forta: "I guess. We are you know...together."

Steve: "Together?"

Forta: "Yeah. Like Aina and Shiko were. Together."

Steve:[Grimaces] "Were is a uh… dark word huh?"

[Forta shrugs a bit and swallows the lump in her throat.]

Forta: "I'm afraid it is a word we will get used to using."

Steve: "Don't change the topic. We were talking about us. Remember? The good things in life."

Forta: "But I answered your question, we are together."

Steve: "Together like...sexually?"

[Steve laughs as Forta glares at him.]

Forta: "That would be difficult since we now live in a dirt house with Shiko and two kids."

Steve: [shrugs] "We could find a way."

[Steve smiles at Forta like he was asking for something.]

Forta: "Well you can always go fuck yourself."

Steve: "Ouch. Harsh."

[Steve and Forta laugh.]

Forta: "Sorry, I'm not use to being nice."

Steve: "You'll get better at it."

Forta: "How?"

Steve: "Well, start with this."

[Steve leans in and kisses Forta. Forta puts her left hand on his face and her right hand on his arm. They pull away after a few seconds.]

Forta: "[nervously] Heh, that was...nice."

Steve: "Yeah it was."

[They are silent for a moment, just listening to the tides rolling in and out on the beach.]

Forta: "We need to get moving."

Steve: "To where?"

Forta: "Inland, we need to find the lights. The ones we saw at night, last night we saw them far off in the distance. It seemed very very far away. Whatever it is, it's bright."

Steve: "Why are you so curious?"

Forta: "I'm not, but Aina was. I can't let 4 lives go to waste in vain."

Steve: "4?"

Forta: [counting on her fingers] "Aina, Kreten, Boris and Oda."

Steve: "Oh my god...shit."

Forta: "Yeah. We may as well get something out of it."

Steve: "Ok." [he stands up.] "I'll gather everyone."

Scene 3:

[Everyone is walking through a forest, Forta and Steve in front. Kiki and Nevin next and Shiko in the back.]

Steve: "See anything back there?"

Kiki: "Nothing captain!"

Nevin: "Argh not a thing!"

[Shiko doesn't answer.]

Forta: "Anything back there admiral Shiko?"

Shiko: "I saw my dignity a few miles back."

[Forta sighs. She attempted to cheer everyone up by playing pirates, but it wasn't even really working on the kids.]

Kiki: "I miss Aina."

[Kiki starts to cry. Nevin hugs her and the group stops. Forta notices how much they have grown up. Nevin looking about 10 now, and Kiki about 9.]

Nevin: "It's ok Kiki. She's in a happy place now."

[Forta covers her eyes, pained by the words. She knows she can not replace Aina's warm personality and caring touch. Steve puts an arm around her.]

Steve: "You're right Nevin. She's probably in a better place."

Shiko: "Yeah whatever."

[Shiko walks past them and continues to walk inland. The rest follow him. Nevin decides to hold Kiki's hand to comfort her.]

Forta: [whispering] "Do you really think when people die they go to a good place?"

Steve: [whispering] "It's all I can hope for Aina. She deserves it."

[Forta nods and gets lost in thought. She thinks about death. What happens when you die? How would she meet death? She hopes it is saving her friends or of old age. Shiko breaks her train of thought.]

Shiko: "The lights went on. It must be getting dark."

Forta: "Should we set up camp?"

Shiko: "Yes."

Scene 4:

[Shiko is placing dirt blocks around where Kiki, Nevin and Steve sit. Forta has her bow and arrow readied, guarding Shiko as he builds.]

Steve: "[In a pirate voice, to the kids.] So what do you land lubbers have to report?"

Nevin: "There are a lot of trees here captain!"

Kiki: "And there is a bright light in the distance!"

Steve: "Aye mateys! Ye be correct thar."

Forta: [To Shiko. No one else can hear.] "What do you think it is?"

Shiko: "What?"

[Shiko places another dirt block.]

Forta: "The lights."

Shiko: "Oh. Yeah. I don't know."

Forta: "You don't even have a thought about it?"

Shiko: "Listen Forta. When we walk, I focus on the trees and the sounds of the breeze and all the world around me. I have to stay in the present or my mind will crumble into the past."

Forta: "I'm sorry. I should be more sensitive."

Shiko: "No it's fine. Just wish I gave her a funeral."

[Shiko continues to build the house until it is finished. Once it is done, the whole group sits around the fire and eats chicken and bread.]

Steve: "How far do you say we've gone today?"

Shiko: "About 2 miles."

Forta: "Damn. How far do you think the lights are?"

Shiko: "By the looks of em...5 miles."

Nevin: "Ugh more walking?"

Kiki: "I hate walking."

[Forta notices the children are quieter. Only speaking up to complain and to play along with whatever game Forta and Steve made up. They no longer longed for a cat or wanted to play tag all the time. They were quieter and more docile than they were before Aina died.]

Forta: "Well we have to keep walking to find the lights."

Kiki: "Ugggggghhhhhhhh"

Nevin: "I dun wanna."

Forta: "Well Nevin, if we keep walking you can still hold Kiki's hand."

Nevin: [blushing] "What? Shut up!"

[Kiki giggles.]

Shiko: "We should all sleep."

[Steve nods his head, gets up and puts out the fire. It turns pitch black and all that can be heard is the occasional spider as they all drift into a deep sleep.]

Scene 5:

[The group is making their way up a hill. It is the afternoon and they all look weary. As they reach the top of the hill, below them they see a small stone house.]

Forta: "We should stop there."

Shiko: "What if they try to kill us?"

Forta: "It's fine, we have enough weapons."

[The group makes it's way down the hill to the stone house. Forta knocks on the door.]

Voice: "What the…"

[A man opens the door. He has messy black hair, hazel-almost golden-eyes and a scar on his left side. Forta realizes it looks like her burn marks. The man is wearing a white shirt,a silver jacket made of leather, blue leather pants and brown leather boots. His right hand on the door handle and left awkwardly holding a sword. He stares at the group and quickly moves his sword to the right hand where it is not awkward.]

Man: "I'm not interested in trading at the moment, sorry."

[The man begins closing the door but Forta keeps it open with her foot]

Forta: "Hello. We don't mean to disturb you but we come from an island about a mile off the shore. We haven't slept in a bed in 3 days and we are interested in finding the lights."

[The man hesitates.]

Man: "Lights?"

Forta: "In the distance. They show at night brightly on the horizon."

Man: "Oh. I see. Do you mean harm?"

Forta: "None at all. We have children. Our company totals 5, including the 2 small children. May we come in?"

Man: "Yes, yes come in."

[The man steps aside, and the group comes in. There is one small window on each of the three walls inside the house. There is a bed, on the far left, a crafting table on the far right that is next to a furnace.]

Forta: "This is where you live?"

Man: "No no, this is only a temporary home on my travels. I have not even introduced myself, people call me Golden. Who are all of you?"

Kiki: "I'm Kiken'na! But call me Kiki!"

Nevin: "And I'm Nevin!"

Shiko: "Shiko."

Steve: "I'm Steve."

Forta: "Oh and I'm Forta."

Golden: "Forta...No offense but that names kind of..."

Forta: [Sighing] "Stupid?"

Golden: "Yes."

[Steve smiles widely. Forta rolls her eyes.]

Forta: "This idiot named me that."

[Forta points to Steve.]

Golden: "Ah well, anyways. What do you hope to accomplish by finding those lights?"

Shiko: "Well, we use to have a...beautiful girl in our group. Her name was Aina. She had golden blonde hair just past her shoulders with bangs. These deep blue eyes and a wonderful smile. She saw the lights on the horizon and wanted to go there. She was killed by a homicidal psychotic maniac named Kreten. We decided we couldn't go on without fulfilling her wish."

[Golden is taken aback by Shiko's sudden burst of emotion.]

Golden: "I'm sorry to hear that about your friend. Believe me you won't be disappointed by what the lights are."

[Forta notices an amulet around Golden's neck. It's green and almost resembles a marble.]

Forta: "What are they?"

Golden: "They are a city. A huge beautiful, bright city."

Steve: "A city? Th-that's awesome!"

Golden: "Yeah I go there every month or so to trade with the people there."

Shiko: "Could you take us there?"

[Golden furrows his brow and thinks. He looks around the room and then lands his sight on Shiko.]

Golden: "Well, I was planning on going next week but I think we can go tomorrow instead."

Forta: "Really? Oh thank you! That means so much to us!"

Golden: "No problem, sounds like you guys have been through a lot. It's the least I could do."

Steve: "When do we leave?"

Golden: "First thing tomorrow. Unfortunately I only have one bed...You guys can have it. I'll sleep on the floor."

Forta: "My gosh. Thanks so much. Nevin and Kiki will sleep in it."

[Nevin and Kiki smile really widely.]

Golden: "Glad to make a couple kids smile."

Scene 6:

[It is dark. Everyone is fast asleep, except Steve could not. He turns to Forta and puts his arms around her, waking her from the light sleep she fell into.]

[All whispering]

Steve: "Hey."

Forta: "Hey there."

Steve: "You ok?"

Forta: "Yeah I'm alright."

Steve: "What do you think of Golden?"

Forta: "He's cool. He seems like a nice guy. Very trusting."

Steve: "Yeah. He's gonna be a big help. What do you think the city will be like?"

Forta: "Big. And beautiful. Someplace Aina would have loved."

Steve: "Do you think we will have our own room there?"

Forta: "Uh, maybe why?"

Steve: "Cause I'm sick of having to whisper and sleep on the ground. I miss sleeping with you in a bed."

Forta: "Me too."

[They are silent a moment.]

Steve: "Why do you like me?"

Forta: "Steve I answered this."

Steve: "But really...why?"

Forta: "Because you're the only person who has ever made me feel like I don't need to protect myself. I feel so safe."

[Steve smiles widely and holds Forta tighter to him.]

Steve: "Nothing bad will ever happen to you."

Shiko: "That's what I said."

[There is silence. Steve and Forta's hearts drop into their stomachs. They can only feel pity and pain for Shiko. They say nothing else and fall back asleep.]
