Scene 1:

[Everyone, including Golden is walking. Forta and Golden are in the front It is very early in the morning and Golden is staring at his amulet. He turns to Forta.]

Golden: "I can teleport there with this."

Forta: "What?"

Golden: "It's an enderman's eye. It allows me to teleport. But it can only work for me."

Forta: "Why?"

Golden: "String can only fit around my neck."

Forta: "Ah, I see."

Golden: "I apologize for the long trip."

Forta: "No it's ok, travel is not the hardest thing we have dealt with lately."

Golden: "Is that Shiko guy ok?"

Forta: "Well, not really. He and Aina were deeply in love."

Golden: "I'm sorry to hear that. That must be awful."

Forta: "Yes, it was hard on all of us."

Golden: "Who exactly killed her?"

Forta: "His name was Kreten, he had some sort of powers where he could fly and hear everything we said and stuff. He set the camp on fire and blew it up, killing Aina."

Golden: "What happened to him?"

Forta: "I disabled his powers and Shiko killed him in rage."

Golden: "Ouch. He sleep ok?"

Forta: "I guess not since every time I wake up in the middle of the night he is also awake."

Golden: "Hmm."

[They are quiet, continuing to walk until they come to the edge of a forest. In front of them is a desert. Golden turned to the group.]

Golden: "We are in the last mile, which is hot and annoying. We should sleep for now and go in the morning."

Steve: "Are you sure? It's not that late."

Golden: "I'm sure, zombies and such do not take long to rise in this area."

Shiko: "We will also not have the cover of trees."

Forta: "Ok, I'll get some dirt."

[Forta starts to dig up blocks of dirt from the forest's side.]

Steve: "How are we doing on food?"

Golden: "1 stack. I sure am glad I brought it."

Kiki: "I'm tired!"

Nevin: "Me too!"

Steve: "We're going to sleep soon, so don't worry."

Nevin: "Aina would have made us a bed to sleep in."

Shiko: "WELL WE AREN'T AINA!"

[Shiko's sudden burst scares the children and they sit there, wide eyed. Nevin starts to cry and Kiki hugs him close.]

Steve: "Shiko! C'mon dude."

[Shiko throws down the map he was holding and stares angrily at Steve.]

Shiko: "I'm going on a walk."

[Shiko walks into the forest.]

Forta: "Shiko do-"

Golden: "Give him space. he has an hour before night fall."

Forta: "What was that?"

[Forta picks up the dirt and starts to build a small house for them.]

Steve: "It may be a while before he can function on a not angry and upset level."

Golden: "Aina certainly was special to him."

[Forta nodded her head as she put the last piece of the ceiling in place.]

Steve: "She was important to all of us but she was something special to her."

Nevin: "She was like my mommy."

[Kiki nodded, wiping tears from her eyes.]

Golden: "Why would someone want to hurt a girl like that?"

Forta: "No idea. Power hungry I assume. Maybe he was a psycho."

[Golden furrowed his brow and shook his head.]

Golden: "I don't really understand why people do things sometimes. I was alone for a long time until I found the city. Maybe I'm just a hermit."

Forta: "I don't blame you for wanting to be alone."

Steve: "What does that mean?"

[Steve smiles at her so that she knows it's a joke.]

Forta: [smiling] "Well people can just be so annoying sometimes. With all that finding each other in the forest, falling in love and peaking in on each other naked."

[Steve turns bright red.]

Steve: "W-what are you talking about?"

Forta: "I could see your reflection in the window."

Steve: "Oh I uh… no but I didn't-"

Golden: "Still here."

Forta: "Sorry."

Golden: "We should get to bed."

Steve: "What about Shiko?"

Forta: "He'll come back. He wouldn't abandon us."

Steve: "I guess. Time for bed kids!"

Scene 2:

[The sun is about to come up as Forta and Steve leave the dirt house and sit on the roof of it. Their feet dangle over the side facing the sun rise. Steve has his arm around Forta as they watch.]

Forta: "Any signs of Shiko?"

Steve: "Nope."

Forta: "You think he's ok?"

Steve: "I hope so."

Forta: "The sun rise is so beautiful."

Steve: "I know something else that's beautiful."

Forta: "Water?"

Steve: "No."

Forta: "Roses?"

Steve: "Guess again."

Forta: "Hmm...sunflowers?"

Steve: "No silly. You."

[Forta laughs a bit, scrunching up her face to hide her excitement.]

Steve: "No it's true. You really are."

[Steve kisses Forta on the cheek.]

Forta: "You're sweet."

Steve: "I try."

[They are silent for a few moments, watching as the sun goes up.]

Steve: "I love you."

Forta: "I love you too."

Shiko's voice: "OVER HERE!"

[Forta stands up on the roof and turns behind her, where she heard the voice. Steve does the same. They see Shiko just exiting the forest. He looks tired and he's missing his left arm from the elbow down.]

Forta: "Oh my god! Shiko!"

[Forta jumps off the roof and runs to Shiko. She sees his arm is bleeding.]

Forta: "Are you ok?"

Shiko: [winces] "I'm fine. A lion bit it off."

Forta: "A lion?!"

Shiko: "Yeah it was weird."

Forta: "Weird?! You lost half an arm and all you have to say is that it's weird?!"

[Just then, Golden comes out of the house and walks towards them.]

Golden: "Shiko! What happened man?!"

Shiko: "Lion got me!"

Golden: "Damnit. Lions again."

Shiko: "You knew there were lions?"

Golden: "Yeah of course. Do you not have lions where you come from?"

Shiko: "Nope. Not at all."

Golden: "Sorry about that. You need to get to the city right now."

Shiko: "Why?"

Golden: "They have a hospital there. They can take care of you."

Steve: "How do we get him there?"

[Golden takes off his amulet and puts it around Shiko's neck. Golden moves his body so it's facing the city, with his back to the forest.]

Golden: "Once you get there, at the gates show them your arm and tell them you know Golden. The guards will bring you to the hospital."

Shiko: "Ok. When will you guys be there?"

Golden: "A day or so. Not long after you."

Shiko: "Ok. But how does this amulet help?"

Golden: "You'll see."

[Golden grabs the ender eye and throws it up in the air, as far as the long string would allow. With a puff of green smoke, Shiko disappears.]

Forta: "Where did he go?"

Golden: "The front gates of The City."

Steve: "Woah."

Golden: "C'mon, we gotta get Nevin and Kiki up."

Scene 3:

[Golden is walking in front and talking to Kiki and Nevin as Forta and Steve walk behind them across the desert.]

Forta: "You think Shiko is ok?"
Steve: "You heard Golden, they have a hospital."

Forta: "But he's lost half an arm."

Steve: "Yeah that sucks."

Forta: "If I lost half an arm I couldn't shoot anymore."

Steve: "We would probably all die."

[They continue to walk. Soon Forta gets an urge and grabs Steve's hand. Steve smiles.]

Steve: "And here I thought you were heartless."

Forta: "Har har har."

Golden: [calling behind him.] "We should be an hour away!"

Forta: "Ok good, I expect that's when the sun will go down!"

[Golden goes back to joking with the kids.]

Steve: "You think they will let us in The City?"

Forta: "I imagine so. Golden seems to be a big shot there."

Steve: "I guess."

[They continue to him and haw over random subjects as they walk. They go from The City to where they will stay, to whether they will have their own room and Steve brings up finally having privacy, which Forta rolls her eyes at. Before they can realize, they are at the gates of The City. All around are female and male guards in full diamond armor. The city is protected by huge stone walls and a huge wooden gate blocked by the guards. One in diamond armor and a knight style helmet approaches the group.]

Guard: "Ah, Golden we were expecting you. Do you know a man who calls himself Shiko?"

Golden: "Yes captain I do. He was traveling with us when a lion attacked and he needed medical attention so I gave him my amulet to go ahead of us."
Guard: "Who are these people anyways?"

Golden: "They come from the land off the shore near my house. It was their friend's dying wish to see this place, so they decided to come."

Guard: "How sweet. Names?"

Forta: "Forta."

Steve: "I'm Steve."

Kiki: "Kiki!"

Nevin: "I'm Nevin."

Guards: "Very well then. Your friend Shiko has adjusted very well to this place. He was in and out of the hospital like nothing. Mayor showed him the bar and he hasn't left since!"

Golden: "Oh my. We better go in then."

Guard: "Head right in."

[The giant wooden gates open as the sun begins to set, and the group goes in.]

Scene 4:

[Once they get in, they see it is a loud, bustling city. The streets are lined with horses and there are lamps everywhere. The streets are lined with glowstone. The houses and buildings are huge. There are glowing signs everywhere telling them to buy this or go here. Everyone is overwhelmed except Golden.]

Golden: "This way!"

[Golden makes his way through the crowd of people. Forta grabs Kiki and Nevin's hands and follows him with Steve. They bob and weave through the sea of people until Golden ducks into a dirty looking building.]

[Once inside they see it is dimly lit and full of drunk men and women shouting and sitting around wooden tables. Up front is Shiko, downing another drink.]

Forta: "Why is everyone acting like this?"

Golden: "They're drinking beer."

Forta: "Beer?"

Golden: "It's this drink Mayor made, it makes people act weird. C'mon, Shiko is up here."

[Shiko turns to see the group, drearily and clumsily smiles and raises his drink in his only hand he has. His left arm wrapped in bandages.]

Shiko: "Hey guys!"

[The group goes up to Shiko.]

Forta: "Shiko why are you drinking this stuff?"

Shiko: "Why not? C'mon it's fun!"

Steve: "Forta give him some space he lost his fucking arm."

Kiki: "Why does everyone smell funny?"

Nevin: "Why is everyone here yelling?"

[The bartender looks over at the group and looks down at the two kids. The bartender's hair is black and his eyes blue. He stares at the kids a moment and then finally speaks up to talk to Forta.]

Bartender: "Ma'am you can't have kids in here."

Forta: "Oh I didn't know."

Bartender: "I've never seen you around here before. What's your name?"

Forta: "It's Forta."

Bartender: "Ah Forta.. that's-"

Forta: "Stupid yeah I know."

[The bartender notices Golden and squints.]

Bartender: "Golden?"

Golden: "Hey Sparks."

Bartender: "C'mon man, call me Daniel."

Golden: "Fine, Daniel. Any word from Mayor?"

Daniel: "Actually, yes. He was in here with your friend Shiko here. He said if I saw you to bring you and your guests to the Hall."

Golden: "Ah, will do. He'll probably want to know more about these outsiders. I'll catch ya later Daniel, c'mon guys let's go."

[Everyone including Shiko, who staggers out, follows Golden out of the bar.]

Scene 5:

[After following Golden through the thinning crowd of people as the sun goes down, they approach a large building made of iron and stone. It's huge with big stairs.]

Shiko: [slurring his words] "Where the ffffuck are we?"

Kiki: [Quietly] "Swear."

Golden: "This is the Hall. The members of the Council live and work here, as well as Mayor."

Forta: "Who is Mayor anyways?"

Golden: "Well his real name is Fraus, but not many people know that. He built this city from the ground up. Well of course he had help, but he runs this place. The Council comes up with ideas and laws but he gets the final say. He is a very smart and kind person. Let's go."

[Golden makes his way up the steps and everyone follows. Shiko every now and then stumbles and catches himself, murmuring just under his breath so no one could hear. Every now and then a swear word could be heard from him, until they made their way to the door. At the door a guard stood, holding a spear and wearing all gold.]

Guard: "Who goes there?"

Golden: "It's Golden and his guests, Mayor sent for us."

Guard: "Ah yes, go right in. Go straight until you make it to the doors of iron. No turning corners, you will be watched."

[Golden nods and the guard opens the bug doors and let the group in.]

Scene 6:

[The group walks down the hall. It is made of quartz block with beautiful paintings on the wall and red carpets on the floor. Every now and then a hall goes off to the left or right, but the group continues to go straight.]

Forta: "So how long has this been here?"

Golden: "No one is really sure, probably only Fraus knows."

Steve: "Why does everyone call him Mayor?"

Shiko: [hiccup] "Cause his name is fucking stupid. Who wants to be known as Fraus?"

Nevin: "Swear."

[Shiko mumbles incoherently]

Golden: "It's a title. He says it's just a second name because he runs the place. Most people call him it as a sign of respect. I have known him for a while being the city's biggest source of knowledge of the outside world, so I call him Fraus."

[Shiko trips on the rug and falls flat on his face.]

Steve: "Shit! Dude!"

[Steve and Golden help him up.]

Golden: "You ok?"

Shiko: "Not since Aina left, no."

Golden: "Stand up man. We're almost there."

[Shiko stands up on his own and they all continue to walk down the hall. Soon they came upon two iron doors. Golden knocks on it 3 times.]

Voice: "COME IN!"

[The group walks in the door. It is a large room, the floor made of lapis lazuli blocks. The walls are made of obsidian and the ceiling was made of lapis as well. In front of them is a huge throne made of gold and on it sits a man. He has curly, short brown hair and a beard. His outfit is a black suit.]

Man: "Ah hello, I was expecting you."

Shiko: "Fuck this place is nice. You my friend, are fucking loaded."

Kiki: [Forcefully, while tugging on Shiko's shirt] "Swear!"

[The man chuckles.]

Man: "Enjoying that bar I see."

Golden: "Not cool showing him that Fraus."

Fraus: "It's just a bit of fun."

Golden: "It's not fun, he just lost his girl to a psychotic killer."

Fraus: "Sorry to hear that."

Shiko: "Yeah well isn't everyone. I could go for a good tall drink...and a girl."

Forta: "Shiko! The kids are here!"

[Fraus laughs.}

Fraus: "Anyways, the reason you are all here. I want to welcome you guys. I have a building with vacant rooms you guys can have. But I would like to learn more about you guys. What rooms would you like?"

Shiko: "One with a bar!"

Kiki: "One with a bunk bed!"

Steve: "One with Forta...with only one bed."

Forta: "Steve!"

[Fraus laughs]

Fraus: "All right, will take you to your apartment building."

Golden: "I won't be staying long."

Fraus: "Ah Golden, always insisting on being the loner."

Golden: "Not a loner, just a lover of nature."

Fraus: "Hmm well I don't get it. Either way there is always a place for you in this building."

Golden: "I'll stay until my friends are comfortable."

Fraus: "Ok, if you walk back down the hall Aaron will be there to take you."

Scene 7:

[After then group takes the long walk down the hall. They are greeted by a skinny boy in his teen years. He has straight ash hair. He is wearing leather armor and holds a wooden sword.]

Aaron: "Hello there, I'm Aaron. I will be taking you to your new place. It is 200 north, 30 south."

Steve: "What?"

Golden: "It's their mapping system I will explain it another time."

[Aaron starts off to the left and they follow. Now it is dark out and the lights showed brightly.]

Golden: "So Aaron, you're new to the Hall aren't you?"

Aaron: "Yes sir. But I've been training all my life for it."

Golden: "Yes of course. The Academy seems like a great place to study."

Shiko: "The fucks an Academy?"

Steve: "Swear."

Aaron: "It is where young people are placed if their parents worked for Mayor. Well at least that's what it's been designed for. But it's only been around for a while. I'm one of the first to go through it."

Forta: "What if you don't want to work for the Hall?"

[Aaron shrugs.]

Aaron: "My parents always said to serve Mayor was blessing and a treat."

Shiko: "That Fraus dude?! What a joke! You see that throne room? Tacky as dicks!"

Kiki: "What's a dick?"

Forta: "We'll talk later sweetie."

Aaron: "You shouldn't say such things about him!"

Forta: "But if it's his opin-"

Golden: "Now where is this apartment?"

[Aaron and everyone turn a corner and Aaron points to the building on the corner. It is made of red brick and is very tall.]

Aaron: "There are 3 vacant rooms. Figure out who's sleeping where."

Forta: "Steve and I will have a room, Kiki, Nevin and Shiko another and Golden can have his own."

Aaron: "Whatever, I gotta get back to my shift."

[Aaron turns around and walks back the way they came.]

Scene 8:

[Everyone had walked into the building and up the stairs. On the doors were signs. They either said the name of who lived there or the word "vacant". Everyone had settled in when Forta and Steve Dina,ky got ready for bed.]

Forta: "Fuck I'm tired. This place is weird."

Steve: "I like it."

Forta: [she rolls her eyes.] "You're just happy you get to share bed with me."

[Forta and Steve start to take off their shoes.]

Steve: "Ah well that is a perk. Are you not?"

Forta: "I am delighted to share a bed with you."

[Steve smiles at her.]

Steve: "Look in that closet."

[Forta opens the door behind her. There are thin shirts made of spider silk.]

Steve: "Oh, I think maybe we should wear those for sleeping."

[Forta and Steve change into the tshirts, turn off the lights and crawl into bed. Steve wraps his arms around Forta and sighs happily.]

Forta: "I'm scared."

Steve: "Scared? Forta, scared? Why would you ever be scared?"

Forta: "This is a new place, and it's scary. So loud, and so crowded. I have never seen so many people. I wanted to know everyone's name and who they were."

Steve: "I don't think that's possible here."

Forta: "I guess. Do you think Aina would have liked this place?"

Steve: "Fuck Forta, I don't know."

Forta: "What did I do?"

Steve: "Nothing, I'm sorry. I just have tried blocking out the last words she said to me, or the way she encouraged me to approach you. Or the fact Shiko is probably cursing up a storm in front of Kiki and Nevin."

Forta: "Golden put him to bed."

Steve: "Whatever, let's just enjoy tonight and go to sleep."

Forta: "Ok."

Steve: "Goodnight love."

Forta: "Goodnight love."
