AN: I'm so sorry! It's late and short :( My bad guys. I had a lot of work to do this week and will be on time next week.

[Forta, Steve and Golden sit in a dark is one light hanging above their heads. It was very late in the night and Kiki and Nevin sat next to Forta. Qatil stood over them, face exposed and not holding her crossbow.]

Qatil: "I'm sorry I had to talk to you all this way. But not many people last more than a couple days here so I knew I needed you guys."

Steve: "Needed us? You kidnapped us!"

Qatil: "I can't have you guys knowing where you are. Precautionary measures."

Forta: "Fuck you."

Qatil: "Listen listen. I have done some very terrible things. I killed 42 people. I am a leader of a group of equally as terrible people. But...I am doing it for a reason."

Shiko: "Everyone stop yelling please."

Qatil: "No one is yelling."

[Golden makes the international sign for drinking.]

Qatil: "Ah. Well listen. I don't want to hurt you. I threatened you because I was told to."

Forta: "By whom?"

Qatil: "Fraus."

Golden: "Fraus? Why the fuck?"

Qatil: "He's the leader of all the gangs."

Kiki: "But why?"

[Qatil sits down in front of them.]

Qatil: "It all started when the population hit it's peak at 450 people. I and the other gang bosses worked for Fraus in some way. I was a late night guard. Those don't exist anymore. I was in love with a girl who lived across the street from me, Premi. The night before I invited her over and told her how I felt. She said she felt the same and we shared a first kiss. The next day I reported for work and Fraus came to me and brought me to his throne room. He told me of my new position. At the time it was called a "population manager". He told me I had to lead a group of trained killers to stage the death of 10 people a week. That's how many people were being born a week at the time. He didn't have enough food from the hunting groups to feed us all. He must have figured out my hobby for crossbow shooting. I told him no but he kidnapped Premi. He said if I didn't do it he would kill her. So 42 dead people later and I gave up. I can't do this anymore. I have nightmares. I'm killing so many people in them. Every now and then I'm killing Premi."

[The group is stunned by the sudden outburst from Qatil.]

Forta: "What about the others? Why were you fighting with Snayu?"

Qatil: "We get food and weapons for killing certain people and families. Also how many people we kill in 'cross fire'. We rarely kill the other side. I have talked to the others, they all too have families and loved ones Fraus has control over. Almost all of them regret what they have done. We have to do something. Our gang members are loyal to Fraus, not to us."

Steve: "Why are you telling us all of this?"

Qatil: "We have tried to reach out to locals for sympathy but we get none. We killed their families and loved ones so I don't blame them."

Golden: "We?"

[Qatil nods. From the door behind her a man walks in. He is tall with curly brown hair. His eyes are dark green and has a scar from his right eye to his jaw. He seems strong.]
Man: "Have you told them?"

Qatil: "Yes. It's unfortunate we can't get the help of Utavi. The recent gang attack left her a mess."

Man: [to the group] "Hi, my name is James Shepard. I am the leader of the Morderes. I am here to help overthrow Fraus."

Golden: "Woah woah woah. Overthrow? Why would we do that?"

Qatil: "Were you not listening? He's killing off his citizens and telling them it's gangs. People don't know how short our food is in supply. We need the people to know."

Forta: "She's right. Fraus can't lie to his citizens like that."

Nevin: "James, who does he have of yours?"

James: "Well to be honest, nothing. I was in love with a girl named Sasha, but she did not feel the same. There was a group of bandits that killed her and Fraus said he knew where the last of them were. I let my foolish revenge get ahead of me and killed at least 50 people to get the location of the last bandit. After all this time I finally see Fraus has no idea where that bandit is."

Shiko: "Hey, it's ok man. I know how that feels."

James: (Angrily) "Do you really?"

Shiko: "The future mother of my child was killed by a psychopath with powers. Yeah, I know how it feels."

James: "Sorry to hear that."

Qatil: "So will you help us or not?"

Forta: "Yes."

Steve: "Wait, this could be dangerous."

Forta: "So could be anything else in this world. You want to just let him keep killing his people?"

[Steve stares at Forta, then at Qatil and James.]

Steve: "But these are murderers."

Forta: "So what? You have a one armed murderer right next to you."

Shiko: "1.5 armed murderer."

Forta: "And you would do anything to save him right? What would you do if Fraus had me? If he had you I would kill as many people as I had to to save you."

[Steve stares at Forta and starts to smile. He holds it in but fails.]

Steve: "Ok."

Scene 2:

[Kiki and Nevin stand at a window. Qatil had explained that they were in the forgotten rooms inside the walls of the city. They use to house guards but guards now live in The Hall.]

Kiki: "Nevin?"

Nevin: "Yeah?"

Kiki: "Did you know Fraus was a bad man? Could you tell?"

Nevin: "No actually. I thought he was quite nice."

Kiki: "Me too."

[They stand in silence looking out the window. Nevin looks at Kiki and kisses her on the cheek.]

Kiki: (turning red) "Oh I uh…"

Nevin: "I like you."

[Kiki turns to Nevin.]

Kiki: "I like you too."

Scene 3:

[Qatil, Forta, Steve, Shiko, James and Golden sat on the roof of the wall. They all sat on the stone floor surrounded by a map of The City.]

Golden: "Fraus being my friend I refuse to take in any part of this. But I will help plan and I will take care of the kids and bring them where it is safe."

Forta: "I think it's best you take them home with you."

Shiko: "Are you crazy?"

Forta: "No, I trust Golden. He has been there for us and has taken care of the kids plenty of times through your drunken stupors."

Shiko: "Fuck you."

Steve: "Hey! Don't you talk to her like that."

Golden: "Enough. I'll take them home."

Qatil: "We need to figure out where to hit Fraus first."

James: "I have talked to my group and have about 18 people interested in joining our cause. The others have left my side as fighters and are going back to being guards."

Qatil: "I have 20 people. Utavi has 25."

Forta: "Who is Utavi?"

Qatil: "A woman, leader of the Uang Lapors. She will be joining us tomorrow."

James: "I think our first step is to try and educate the people. We will need a team of people to distribute writing materials explaining what Fraus has been doing."

Forta: "There are so many people in the town, we will all have to write them by hand?"
Steve: "We could make signs. One for each block and put them up."

Qatil: "That's a good idea.

Forta: "Once they are rallied up we could organize a protest. And then another, and then another. Until Fraus has to listen to us. Or until we storm The Hall."

Golden: "What about weapons?"

Qatil: "Simple, Fraus won't know it's us organizing all of this. He will continue to supply our gangs with weapons which will be our tools."

James: "We have a lot of work then."

Golden: "I will go and talk to the kids about leaving."

Scene 3:

[Forta and Steve are talking, sitting in a room in the wall. The room is nicely furnished similar to the hall. They sit on a blue couch that matches the blue and white carpet on the floor. Soon a woman comes in. She has dark skin and dark brown eyes. Her hair long and a very dark almost black brown.]

Forta: "Hello. Who are you?"

Utavi: "I am Utavi. You two must be Forta and Steve. They told me about you."

Forta: "Oh hi. You run the Uang Lapors correct?"

Utavi: "Sadly you are correct. Do I wish I hadn't killed 5 people last night? Yeah I do. One of them couldn't have been a day over 10. Last night I vowed to never kill a soul again, unless it was Fraus'"

Steve: "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that."

Utavi: "Well, a mother will do crazy things for her child. He has my 14 year-old daughter and my husband."

Forta: "I am very sorry to hear that. What are their names?"

Utavi: "My daughter is Ata Kira and my husband is Suteru."

[Steve stands up and puts a hand on her shoulder.]

Steve: "We will get them back. I promise."

Utavi: "Thank you, we had no idea how kind and caring strangers could be."

[Forta stands up behind Steve.]

Forta: "We know how it feels to lose someone you loved. It can feel like the whole world is caving around you. We will provide any help we can give."

Utavi: "I thank you both. I must apologize for the fact Qatil took you all with force. I told her to be friendly but she is kind of...bold."

Steve: "It's fine. We get use to these kinds of crazy things."

Scene 4:

[Fraus is in his game room. There is a bar in one corner. A table with billiard in the middle and places to sit. It's his own little bar without the presence of adoring and groveling citizens. He finds them pesky and annoying, even though he had planned everything so they would respect him if not love him. He sat at a bar stool downing a beer as Atimai stared at him.]

Fraus: "The fuck do you want?"

Atimai: "Nothing Mayor."

Fraus: "Don't just stand their judging me. If you know where they are just fucking say it don't just judge me for wanting a few drinks."

Atimai: "This is you 7th and the sun has not even set."

Fraus: "Fuck you, you work for me. You don't get to criticize me. Nobody in this fucking town gets to criticize me. I built this city from the ground up."

Atimai: "You had at least 7 if not 10 people help build it for you."

Fraus: "How the fuck would you know that?"

Atimai: "I was there remember?"

[Fraus stares at her in the eyes. She kept her cool as she had seen Fraus drunk plenty of times before. She knew him more than anyone else did.]

Fraus: "Oh yeah. Why the fuck do you still look like you did back then? Young, sweet and innocent?"

Atimai: "Same reason you still look the way you do. Nether found if you melted them down to a drink they made you stay young. You gave them to me and yourself. I can't fucking believe it, it's not even sun down and you're too drunk to remember why I'm here."

Fraus: "Oh yeah, aren't you my play thing."

Atimai: "Fuck you."

Fraus: "Go right ahead. No complaints from me."

Atimai: "You are scum."

Fraus: "Ooh it only took you years to say it."

Atimai: "I say it almost every night. You come in here and get drunk, cry about how you care so much about this town that you have to kill people and then try and have sex with me. Well it never has worked and never will work. You're a fucking piece of shit Fraus."

[Fraus stares at her confused and impressed at the same time.]

Fraus: "You've got guts Ati. I do remember you having guts. I have a question, why did you stay all this time then?"

[Fraus stands up and walks behind the bar, stepping slowly closer and closer to Atimai.]

Fraus: "Is it because deep down inside you know...that you could never leave me?"

[Fraus puts his hands on her hips and slips one hand down to her butt. Atimai screams. She grabs the bottle on the bar and hits him over the head with it.]

Atimai: "NO IT'S BECAUSE YOU HAVE A THOUSAND ARMED GUARDS READY TO DO YOUR BIDDING. I HAVE NO WHERE TO GO YOU FILTHY ANIMAL."

[Hearing the commotion Scarlett and 2 other armed guards run into the game room. They see Fraus bloody on the floor and the 2 guards help him up and take him out of the room.]

Scarlett: "Atimai! What the fuck was that?"

Atimai: "That man could treat me as a slave, call me any name he likes but the moment he touches me without his permission he can take a flying fuck at a creeper."

Scarlett: "He touched you?"

Atimai: "Yeah he fucking touched me, why would I lie about that?"

Scarlett: "I-I don't know. Listen, according to procedure you're going to come with me."

Atimai: "Where?"

Scarlett: "Just follow me."

[Scarlett grabs Atimai's arm and walks her out of the game room.]
