Short chapter, but it does exist. So there is that.

Escape Time

"I am going to die." I said to a tombstone statue.

"Hiss." I heard Nagini. I attempted to run away but Nagini caught up with me. I should have thought this through more, I mean, where was I planning on running to.

"I surrender." I said raising my hands and following Nagini back inside.

"You stunned Wormtail." Voldemort stated.

"Self defense."

"What have you learned?"

"That even though I can outrun Wormtail Nagini is faster and smarter than him."

"Good. What else?" Voldemort agreed.

"That I should believe what you say about what Nagini says because you said so. Sorry for not believing you?" I questioned hoping that was what he wanted to hear.

"That will do for now, reverse the spell on Wormtail and your punishment will be finding food for Nagini."

"No problem, Nagini I have found an ugly baby for you to eat."

"Food that isn't me."

"Nagini I found a stunned rat-man for you to eat." I told Nagini as I walked out into the room where Wormtail was still stunned on the ground.

"Or Wormtail." Voldemort shouted from the other room.

"Foiled again."

"Can I go outside?" I questioned randomly.

"No." Voldemort answered.

"Please."

"No."

"But it's nice and cloudy outside."

"Shouldn't you want to go out in the sun."

"No I don't like the sun; I want to go outside when it's cloudy, which it is."

"Fine. Don't try to run away."

"Where would I go?"

"Watch her Wormtail."

"I just had a dream about Wormtail being punished because of someone taking the Night Bus." A confused and tired Harry Potter informed Ron.

"Yay!" they heard Linda's voice through the wall.

"What?"

"Night Bus equals monkeys jumping on beds."

"I think they were wondering how you heard them." The boys heard Hermione inform her.

"Thin walls."

"Now I would like to know why you said 'yay'." Hermione's voice ordered.

"Candice will probably be taking the Night Bus to come save me from not knowing what happens next because I only remember that there is a dance."

"A dance?"

"Shhhh, it's a secret."

I decided wondering around in a graveyard on a cloudy day was the best idea I ever had. Sadly, there were no ghosts to talk to. In fact there weren't any animals there, either. Not that I blame the nonexistent animals, because of Nagini. If I was a small animal, or rat-like man, I wouldn't want to be where Nagini lives either.

"How can I get away, I don't want to spend the entire book trying to get Nagini to eat the ugly baby?" I questioned a tombstone statue. "You can't help me, you can only stand there with one arm out like you are hailing a cab…wait that's it! The bus!"

"Bus?" Wormtail questioned.

"Stupify." I shouted quickly drawing my wand from my pocket where I like to keep it. "Sorry Wormtail, you are going to be in so much trouble."

I skipped merrily down the road until I was far enough away to summon the bus without Voldemort noticing right away. Wormtail being stunned by me is not as noticeable as a giant bus.

"Linda it was horrible! There was an ugly baby and it liked me. I tried to feed it to a giant snake but the snake didn't want to eat it because it was too ugly." I lamented to Linda.

"I got attacked while you were gone, attacked!" Linda said dramatically.

"A giant snake chased me through a house." I pointed out blandly.

"There was fire."

"But you like fire."

"I didn't get to dance around it or roast marshmallows."

"Blasphemy."

"Plus I was in the woods."

"I was in a creepy house with an ugly baby…" I trailed off realizing that there were many people listening in on our conversation.

"Ugly? Baby?" Fred and George questioned.

"Never mind that, what is this I hear about no marshmallows?" I waved them off.

"I don't think we have any." Mrs. Weasley said.

"Boo."

"I think your lack of marshmallows is the least of our worries currently." Snape drawled entering the room.

"Where did you come from?" Linda questioned pointing rudely at Snape.

"If you hadn't been so busy childishly lamenting over marshmallows you would have seen my entrance."

"Have a cookie." Mrs. Weasley said to Linda hoping to placate the marshmallow-less girl.

"Cookie!" Linda said grabbing the cookie and eating it as if the conversation about marshmallows never happened.

"Let's get back to the list of things I should worry about other than marshmallows." I changed the conversation back to the one before.

"Dumbledore is worried that you came separately this time."

"Why is that a problem?"

"He believes it is unsafe for you to be separated from one another." Snape drawled and if he was anyone else he would have rolled his eyes to show what he thought about Dumbledore's thoughts.

"Like the buddy system?" I questioned after thinking it over for a second.

"Yes."

"What is the buddy system?" Fred questioned.

"It is a muggle saying that means sticking with a partner. You designate a buddy to go places with so that you will not be alone. Two children alone are apparently less likely to be kidnapped. Personally I see it as a two for one deal." I answered.

"Two for one deal?" The twins questioned.

"Two things for the price of one, like you guys." Linda answered finishing her cookie.

"Dumbledore believes that it is integral that you stay together." Snape reiterated.

"Doesn't he know that the buddy system is dead?" Linda questioned.

"Yeah, because you killed it." I added.

"So why are you here and not my philosophical friend Dumbledore?"

"He's busy at the moment." Snape answered.

"Oh yeah, that trial thing." I remembered.

"Where were you?"

"I choose not to answer that."

"Is it something we should not know about?" Mrs. Weasley questioned, having been told about Linda and my awesome skills in divination.

"I think so."

"Dumbledore believes we should allow the girls to censor details due to their nature." Snape added to our conversation.

"And you think?"

"You could change the future in an unknown way, possibly making it worse." Snape admitted.

"That is why I choose not to say anything."

"So what are you going to do with us this time?" Linda questioned looking around the room for more cookies.

"Same as last time, you will be attending Hogwarts."

"To keep an eye on us." I added.

"Indeed." Snape drawled.

"If you already know why did you tell me?"

"Narration? Hey, I know! We should sneak onto the boat and flying carriage thing and pretend to be from there."

"Or we can just steal-borrow a cool blue outfit and staff."

"Yeah that is a better idea. So which one are you going to sneak onto?"

"There are only guys from Durmstrang, so you go there."

"Hey! I am not a dude."

"You are manlier than I am, good luck."

"If we are sneaking it shouldn't matter if we are manly or not."
