Hey..Hi! You remember me? OMG AWESOME!

So...yeah I went MIA and to be quite frank, this chapter is awefully short and not my best work but it's a bit of a bridge because I literally had no idea where to go without this short bit. I mean, there is a bit I could add to the end of this but I wasn't sure I wanted it here. So it won't be here.

I will be updating this story every 2 weeks though. That seems doable with exactly how busy life has been so that's the plan. If I can get my chapter completed before 2 weeks, I'll read it over and fix her up!

Speaking of fixing her up...the following is not beta-read...I know, don't kill me.

So...Disclaimer time: I don't own FT, ok? OK.

Much much love 3 xoxox

After everything that happened last night, Lucy wasn't even sure she wanted to even see Sting again. The humiliation, the random, perverted remarks, the kiss, the second kiss. Remembering the kiss, Lucy unconsciously touched her lips, filled with a strange sense of giddiness at the thought of it.

Was he thinking about her too? She couldn't help but wonder. As she slowly rose out of bed, she looked out the window, noticing the sun was high. As she stared out at the streets of Magnolia, she stretched out her muscles, recalling the events of the light before: again.

For whatever reason, thoughts of the white dragon slayer seemed to completely absorb her. She couldn't help it. It was the first kiss she had since she met Natsu. A damn good kiss, at that. Probably one of the best she's ever had—not that she's kissed that many people to compare to.

She turned back around to her bed to make it. In the process, she looked at the clock, noting that it was noon and that it would probably be a good idea to get ready for the day and head towards the guild.

And at that thought, she did just that. Taking a shower and then getting dressed, she wore a denim skirt with a plain white tank top. The summer heat was definitely starting to peep in, as Lucy felt her apartment heat up. After finishing her makeup, she picked up her keys and started making her way towards the guild.

And like a song on repeat, she started thinking about the night again. More and more of the memories coming back to her, replaying the events over and over again.

Suddenly, she had a moment of realization that there was more to that night than just an incredible kiss, although that was definitely her favorite part.

"I wonder what he meant by the Great Magic Games," she thought aloud, as she entered the guild.

Just as she was about to approach Max to ask him, she noticed the hostile feeling completely fill the guild.

"I cannot believe he said that!" She heard Natsu roaring, in pure fury.

"How did things get to this?" Gray asked, with the distaste in his voice as Erza proceeded to calm Natsu down.

"Well, when you were trapped on Tenroujima," Macao began, "It was hard on Fairy Tail. We weren't strong enough to take on any jobs, and as a result we fell into debt, trying to keep the guild running. So Twlight Ogre came into Magnolia and gave us loan after loan. We became the laughing stock of Fiore. But we never gave up because deep down, we knew in our heart that you would return to us. We knew our friends were out there and we didn't want to give up on Fairy Tail."

"I'm so sorry you had to go through that," Lucy finally said in a soft voice. "What if we do something with the games coming up? Y'know, build a reputation?"

"Winning the games would build a lot more than a reputation," Macao started, still sounding quite upset. "The prize money is 30,000,000 Jewels."

"And we'd be the best guild in Fiore," Max added.

"I'm all fired up!" Natsu's eyes blazed at the very thought of a competition. It absolutely exhilarated him.

"It would be a great way to help Fairy Tail out, after everything you've done for us," Erza noddein agreement.

Makarov's eyes completely lit up, when he added, "And that prize money!" followed by him clearing his throat and correcting himself, "I mean, restoring our reputation."

It was completely decided from that second forward that Fairy Tail was, in fact participating in the Games. They were going to participate and there wasn't a single person who could stop them. What with Natsu's excitement and Erza's desire to help restore Fairy Tail's reputation, nothing that was said could stop them. It was because of the guild's excitement that no one noticed the amount of knowledge Lucy had about the Games.

Well…almost no one. Lucy's knowledge wasn't overlooked by a certain silver haired take-over sibling. And Lisanna was about to approach her about it, too but just as she was about to ask, Natsu came to Lucy's side, linking his arm with hers and making the announcement that he was going to train with Lucy.

Lucy's eyes met apologetically with Lisanna, as she truly did want to share everything that happened the previous night with her friend and before Lucy could put up a protest, she was dragged away by the pinkette.

"Natsu, slow down!" Lucy finally managed to get out as she was dragged out of the guild.

Natsu frantically shook his head no, "I can't slow down, Luce. You said it yourself, the games start in three months so we have to prepare. We've already lost 7 years' worth of training! We need these 3 months to win the competition!"

And it was next to impossible not to chuckle at his child-like desire to win. It was part of why she found herself developing feelings for him. Not that it mattered anymore since her head was elsewhere.

Looking down at his hand, now holding onto hers and dragging her towards the forest, she felt her cheeks heat up. Old habits die hard, she reminded herself, before she could overthink why it was her cheeks were heating up. She shook her head, and tried to switch it to training mood, because that was what mattered.

"What are you thinking about?" Lisanna heard a strangely deep voice creep up behind her. Turning around she saw Laxus looking at her, his ocean blue eyes reading deep into hers.

And he sure seemed to catch her off guard, as she stammered in response. "Wh-what makes you thi-think I'm thinking ab-about something?" she tried to retort.

"Well, the fact that you're just looking out the window like you're the star of some depressing music video, and you have that..." he tried to come up with the right word, "sad look on your face. And..." Laxus held a finger up before she could say another thing, "You stuttered like a nervous kid."

Well this got Lisanna all riled up, "One, I am most certainly not a kid. Two, I definitely did not have a sad look on my face, as you think you've noticed. Three, I do not look like the star of some depressing music video!" she explained, getting all worked up.

"Sureeeee," Laxus responded, not buying it.

"It's Natsu, isn't it?" Laxus finally said, after a few minutes of an awkward silence.

This definitely got her cheeks to blaze up, "What makes you think that? It's definitely not Natsu. What would the sad look on my face have to do with Natsu. Why is my happiness always linked directly to Natsu?" She went on and on about how it couldn't be Natsu, revealing that of course, she was thinking about Natsu. It took Lisanna a few minutes of rambling to notice that she was making it painfully obvious to the Lightening Dragon Slayer that she was thinking about Natsu.

Sighing in defeat, she realized there was no point in even trying to hide her thoughts from Laxus. "Ok, honestly. You want the truth? About 2 days ago, Lucy comes to me, declaring some sort of truce and like, we talked. You know? We talked about why we would just stop trying to get with him and how we would just put a rest on it. Ok, not put a rest on it, we would drop it. Drop the Natsu war. Become friends...I mean, I considered her a friend. I...I don't know. She seemed like she wasn't into him anymore; she was," Lisanna paused, realizing that she was saying way too much.

"Girl drama," Laxus sighed, realizing that his suspicion was right.
"Don't you think you're over-reacting? I doubt Lucy would use friendship as a decoy. That'd be pretty damn low," Laxus added, awkwardly scratching the back of his head. When he asked her what was wrong, he wasn't expecting a whole story about it. He wasn't good with girl-problems. He always thought they were pretty damn petty. This time however, he knew where Lisanna was coming from. It was a matter of trust.
"You could always just talk to her," He finally resolved. "It's a hell of a lot better than feeling sorry for yourself," he added, ruffling her hair.

"Why do you always do that, Laxus!" Lisanna swatted his hand out of her hair, making a futile attempt to fix it up.

Acting like he had noooo idea what she was talking about, he forged innocence, saying "I have no idea what you're talking about."

He stood up to go back towards his team. As he walked towards them, he turned around and decided to add one last remark, "Open your eyes, Lis'. You're damn hot and just because Natsu can't see it, doesn't mean other guys don't. And I'm not just talking about that Rogue kid."

Ok...I have No Idea what Laxus was talking about!

!

NONE!

OK? OK!
