Welcome to chapter 9. Sorry for the delay. Hope you enjoy.
Rheya had to admit to herself, for the past few days she had been ignoring a lot of people. The very notion of speaking to anyone at work churned her stomach and made her head hurt. The impending feeling of not being a good person loomed within her very being. Because it was a very adamant fact, she wasn't a good person after all. As much as she tried, she just wasn't.
The feeling spoke to her in many ways, but one of them was loud and clear and was in the form of the two women who just left her apartment.
She had been out of town for a few days, working on her own problems and responsibilities. Clicking the little 'x' on her email browser when a new message came through from anyone from the M.W.P.S.B. … especially Sho.
She was out at a bar last night, the first time she went out in her entire trip. Two girls seemed happy with her presence, offering her drinks and soon enough they were all making out. Rheya remembered taking one of them to the bathroom, and soon enough they were all kicked out for the noise coming from stall number three. Rheya remembered then taking them to her apartment, where she was shown sex toys from their bags and soon enough, more noise ensued. Rheya remembered that they were up for a very long time, to the point that dawn started to creep upon them. Soon she was too exhausted to carry on, the girls seemed to want to carry on for a while longer, soon enough they passed out too.
When Rheya awoke, she made them coffee and asked them to leave when they'd finished. Now it was midday and cold to the point that her apartment's floor was like ice when you stepped on it. The girls were now gone, and Rheya felt dirty.
She didn't even ask for the women's names.
After showering several times, Rheya made food and thought for a while whilst eating her tomato and cheese roll. She should tell Sho, he deserved to know. He loved her, apparently. He praised the floor she walked on. It showed in the way he made love to her, how he touched her and made sure she was pleasured equally and if not more to himself.
Why did she hurt people who cared for her, who she cared for?
Because the unfortunate thing was, she was in love with Sho. She just knew that deep down, she couldn't have him.
Because one day - she'll die. And that day was looming over her a lot more closely these days.
Her phone buzzing snapped her from her reality filled thoughts, she frowned and picked it up and stared at the screen.
FOUR EYES IS CALLING YOU…
Rheya sighed deeply and waited a second before answering. "Ginoza."
"Where have you been?" He asked instantly, his voice cold.
She looked at her motel room bed and winced, "I've been busy."
He grumbled something softly before speaking in a whisper, "Mika is on your ass right now, asking the Kasei to fire you from helping us. You and I both know that is a dumb move, since you and Tsunemori are needed right now, and you're the only one who can get in contact with her." He sighed, "Come home… Sho is missing you too."
Rheya's heart thudded loudly, she stared at the floor and nodded to herself. "I will get the first train home… I have to stop by somewhere first, but I will be at the HQ by midnight tomorrow." She bit her lip, "Tell Sho I miss him too…" She hung up quickly.
Sitting there for a few moments, her mind suddenly raced with many different emotions. She had never felt such emotions before. The emotion of being accepted - she was accepted, not by Mika, but by the rest of the team…
She grinned to herself, feeling tears threaten her eyes.
If I die, I die happy…
Standing up, she rushed to her suitcase and started to pack her things together.
She was going home.
Akane knew that she had been asleep for a long time. The fact that she had gone through several different dreams and all of them being long and tedious, told her that it had been a long time since she'd been awake.
The first thing she notice when she awoke, was that she was somewhere safe and warm. She was no longer in the snow. She was safe… The second thing she knew was that she was dressed in thin fabric and laid under even softer fabric. She realised that she was in a bed, a soft and comfortable bed. And the third thing… she could smell coffee.
When her eyes opened at last, she took a moment to look at her surroundings. The walls were completely wooden, the ceiling was arched like a lodge or cabin of sorts. The smell of pine was also quite prominent to her sense of smell, it was actually quite relaxing. She could smell many other scents and smells as well.
She could smell him… all around her was him. His cologne, which was just as musky and masculine as before. His brand of cigarettes, his natural scent also floated through the air.
She sat up slowly, her body aching and protesting in her fight to be able to investigate her surroundings more. The walls further along what she could only describe as an overly tidy bedroom, had pictures of mountains covered in snow on them. She could only gather that he didn't change them for when he moved in… maybe he didn't see a point in changing them. They were pretty after all. She could see a chest of draws, which unlike her home, had no underwear thrown on it.
Everything was so clean, she had to double check it was his home. Kogami was clean, that she knew. He liked fitted suits, nice cologne and good looking things. However she didn't peg him for a OCD clean type. It confused her, but intrigued her all the same.
She managed to get out of bed, her body almost screaming at her. When she stood she looked down at her body and blushed.
She had been changed…
Someone had taken off her cold and wet clothes, and replaced them in a large shirt that buttoned up. Sniffing the collar confirmed that it was Kogami's…
He had seen her naked. That she knew from the lack of bra, luckily she had her panties on, whether or not they were clean or the ones from her trek up to the cabin, she had no idea. She however hoped for the latter.
She walked around the room, finding a mirror behind the wardrobe door. She winced at the sight of herself. She had managed some cuts and bruises from her run from the gunmen, which she was still confused about. Her hair was ruffled and several thick strands were up in different directions. She failed to flatten it down, sighing to herself in defeat.
She then caught a glimpse of her eyes. They were tired, but what shocked her more was that they also looked so - alive. For a long time now, she had seen no life in her eyes. Every day, she would look at her dark brown orbs and wonder when something would make them look alive again. And now, here she was. She had just awoke from a long sleep after being shot at, she was saved by Kogami, and now she was semi-naked in one of his shirts.
Her life, as odd as it felt, was alive again.
Smiling to herself, she turned away from the mirror and looked back to the bed. There was something that she hadn't spotted until that moment, and it was a piece of paper. Picking it up, she unfolded it and read the small message inside.
I dried your clothes that were in your bag, they're in the chest of draws in the top draw. There's a spare toothbrush in the bathroom cupboard, and a towel. The bathroom door is on the right side of the bed. Take your time, breakfast will be ready when you're done. - K
Akane felt a small burst of nerves fill her body. He knew she would wake up today, he made sure that her clothes were ready to wear if she needed to wear them…
She felt her body warm and her heart squeeze.
Shaking herself from such childish thoughts, she walked to the chest of draws in question and got out some clean comfortable clothes. She brought them with her to the bathroom, which in itself was simple yet clean. Finding a toothbrush, she scrubbed her teeth twice before washing the brush out and turned on the shower. She found a towel and undressed. Searching for some toiletries, she found her own toiletry bag placed peacefully on top of another…
Another squeeze attacked her heart warmly.
What is going on, Akane? He is just being… Kogami.
Sighing deeply she undressed from Kogami's shirt and let it fall the floor. Dread filled through her when she realised she was indeed wearing clean panties… which meant Kogami saw her completely naked.
Gulping, she thought for a moment if it really bothered her if Kogami saw her naked. She was old enough to have men look at her in such ways, and she was old enough to reply the stares and romantic gestures maturely, albeit not exactly like an expert.
Kogami seeing me naked though… She bit her lip in thought, it isn't exactly a bad thing. It was only a few days ago that I was thinking whether or not Kogami and I would've been lovers if the Makishima case didn't end so tragically. She bit her lip harder, However, it doesn't mean I wouldn't have liked to wait until I was conscious for him to do so. I wonder what his reaction was?
She showered away her dirty thoughts, scrubbing her greasy hair several times before adding conditioner and letting it soak for a few minutes. She scrubbed her sore body, too. Which felt great. Her body was so sore and achy from her run in with those shooters that a good wash is just what the doctor ordered.
Finally washing out her hair, she turned off the shower and stepped out. Looking into the mirror of the bathroom and wiping away the fog and condensation, she inspected her face once more. The cuts were washed and seemingly looked less disgusting than they had done beforehand, however the bruises were just as bad as before. Sighing in defeat, she dried her body off and hung the towel on the small radiator to dry.
Finally she dressed in some clean clothes, she walked out of the bathroom and was welcomed with the smell of cooking. Sighing peacefully, she opened the bedroom door slowly and peeped outside. The door led to an open panned living room, though small in size, the cozy feel didn't falter. There wasn't a TV, however there was a large bookcase, radio, a small two seater sofa and a coffee table.
It looked very Kogami-esque to say the least.
Walking through the living room, she turned her head the left to see the kitchen, where he stood in front of a small stove frying and cooking breakfast. Peaceful music played from another radio he had in the kitchen, Akane noticed it was Tchaikovsky, something she hadn't heard in a long while.
She watched for a moment. He seemed calm, even though his back was too her, she could tell that he was completely relaxed at that moment in time.
She walked closer to him, her feet lightly clicked against the floor. Her heart sped up slowly due to the intense nervous feeling that ran through her. After all this time, all of this effort, she was finally seeing him again. It wasn't a dream, nor a hallucination. It was really him, and he had saved her.
And suddenly, she did not know how to react. Should she ask if she could help prepare breakfast? Should she say that she was there, give an indication that she was awake and feeling healthy… well somewhat healthy to say the least?
She swallowed hard and ran her fingers nervously through her still damp hair. "Kogami…" She mumbled softly.
He stilled and looked over his shoulder at her. Akane was pleased to see that he hadn't changed much in the time she hadn't seen him. His hair was a little longer, some crows feet crinkling at the corners of his eyes, and seemingly he was taller as well. But he looked healthy, and out of everything, that was what Akane had been hoping for the most. That he was healthy.
His face was blank for a moment, but suddenly a smirk spread across his mouth as he gestured to a draw to his right. "Care to lay the table?"
She didn't know what she had been expecting, but it wasn't that, that was for sure. She however, smirked. Satisfied to know that he was as relaxed around her as he had always been. She nodded and walked to the draw he gestured to, retrieving some table mats, cutlery and plates.
"I hope eggs and bacon is ok with you?" He said as he scraped the pan with his spatula.
"Yes, it sounds good." She smiled as she walked to the table, "And it smells divine."
Though she could not see his face, she knew that he smiled at her reaction.
His only response however was, "Sit." A command that she complied with. Sitting at the table, she waited for him to finish their food. She didn't say a word, though she didn't mind the silence. It was comfortable, just like it had always been like. Kogami wasn't a man of words when there wasn't a point behind it, and what she had learnt in her time with him before the Makishima case concluded, was that like her; he was an awkward man sometimes.
He came over with the pan, scraping some eggs into her selected plate before doing the same to his own. Bacon followed the same way, and when he came over with coffee, she was suddenly very happy. Taking the mug off him, she took a long sip, feeling the caffein soak her blood stream and wake her up. Something that she desperately needed.
He sat down, saying his thanks and then tucked in. They ate for a few minutes in total silence, Akane did not mind. She ate her food with gratitude, her stomach content that finally after a couple of days, she was eating something.
Half way through their breakfast, Kogami put down his cutlery and stared at her, chin resting on his clasped hands. "What do you remember?"
She looked at him and sighed, putting her own cutlery down and resting her chin on her hands in similar way to his. "All I remember… is walking through the forest and suddenly hearing gun shots. I ran, got cut a few times from twigs and falling down. And then suddenly, I felt tired. Really tired. And then, there you were." She glanced to him, "And then you shot a green flare, I passed out after that."
He nodded, "It was dangerous for you to come through the forest that way. Understandably however, it is the best way to come through the town undiscovered, if you know how to get by the guards that is." He sighed, "However, that isn't what is bothering me."
"You're wondering why I came." She smiled to him, amusedly. "Do you honestly think I wouldn't?"
He paused and then sat back in his chair lazily, "Sphinx gave you clues to see me, didn't they?"
"You know about Sphinx?" She widened her eyes.
"I know that for the past few days I have been getting letters about you and pictures of you." He glanced at her, glad that he wasn't easily embarrassed. "So could you please start by telling me who this person, or person, is?"
Akane felt herself slump in her chair, peering up at Kogami she told him everything she could muster. From the murders, to Rheya, she told him. She left out some things, of course. The fact that she hallucinated him in the shower, lit his cigarettes to think of him and somewhat like him. She however, told him about seeing Saiga and how she fainted in his room, and how Saiga actually was the one who pointed out Pinewood to her.
When she had mentioned that, he smirked and scoffed under his breath. "That old coot." He looked up at her, "He is correct however about their message, or at least, it is the best bet into really understanding their motivations. Everybody sins, you and I are the most knowledgable of such a statement. However, that is not their message to you, nor to myself. I do not think, at least for now, that we're the ones that they wish to hurt in this process." He sighed, "Of course, if the rest of your team knew the whole detailed synopsis of this case, it would first seem that way. That Sphinx is targeting the both of us. Nevertheless, I do not think that is the case at all." He sipped his coffee and looked at her, "They want us to see through the true evil of their victims, see what damage they truly inflict on their unfortunate targets. They want us to understand and to pursue them." He then tapped his lips, "And the religious aspect of their attacks seems to also fuel that logic also."
Akane leaned in, suddenly intrigued. "How so?"
"God." He said, "You give a person a gun and they suddenly have the power and righteousness of a God." He looked at her, "The person believes that also. They believe that if you give the power to someone to take action, that they suddenly have every right to act with the highest judgement imaginable."
"So what you're implying is that they're testing the M.W. ? To see whether we can truly enforce God's true judgement onto the people that have escaped it for so long?"
"Possibly." He leaned forward as well, "It fits with the information I have at the moment. Sphinx are the Robin Hood of today's society, just like your hacker, Rheya suggested. They simply take from the rich, in this case, Sybil, and give back to the poor… the innocent that were plagued by Sybil's carelessness, or rather Sybil's blank spots." He sighed, "And like Robin Hood, sometimes you have to give to the rich, to finally give the help the poor needs."
The woman did not know where she was. Her head throbbed and her throat parched. Her skin felt sticky and somewhere on her scalp she felt a deep cut that was bleeding terribly. She panted and looked around her in the dark room. She could hardly see anything around her, all that she could figure out about her surroundings was that she was on a bed. Tied up in such a way that she wondered if she was about to be sexually molested.
The ropes were diamond crossed across her torso and chest, her breasts being bitten harshly by the rough, tight ropes. Her arms tightly secured behind her, that particular rope, by what she could figure out, was attached to the rope that was tied to her torso. Her legs were separated, but tied to the railings of the bed. When she attempted to move her legs, she realised that she was tied up so tightly, that most of her circulation was cut of completely. She could hardly feel her legs anymore. If it weren't for the cool breeze tickling her vagina, she wouldn't have even realised the leg separation issue in the first place. Let alone being completely naked.
Panic arose when she heard screams from far away. By the sounds of the echoes velocity, she was in a metal room, and the scream was a few rooms away from her.
She breathed heavily, though she was not bound at the mouth, she could not find the voice to scream. She instead felt the cold rush of dread wash over her. Am I going to die? She wondered hysterically, No. no. no… I can't die, not yet! I have so much to do! She whimpered. I-I can't die… My psycho-pass is clear! It was only thirty this morning!? I do not deserve this punishment!
"I'm not a Latent Criminal… I swear!" She squeaked from her sore, parched throat. It was so feeble that she almost pitied herself. "I-I don't deserve this! My Psycho-Pass is fine!"
"Liniște vă rog," A voice startled her. It was so quiet, so small, that she would've missed it if it weren't for her inner feeling that the voice was right next to her.
"I-I am sorry, I don't… I don't know what you said…"
Silence. She suddenly felt alone again. She hadn't even heart the person come in, in the first place. She didn't know what scared her more, the fact she was naked and tied to a bed, or that someone, who obviously was her captor, didn't know how to speak her language!
She found herself sobbing, hard. She did not know how her body still had fluid, and yet here she was. Sobbing her heart out.
Suddenly something cold brushed her back, she yelped. "Wh-who is there?" she sobbed, "P-please, I have money! Let my husband pay you, I can leave as soon as dawn rises! I am no used to you…" She broke into hysterics, her head suddenly spinning. "Please, just let me go, I do not know what you look like, so just let me go! I won't say anything! Please!"
"I don't care." The voice said. It sent chills all the way through her body. It was so cold, so spiteful… and yet, it was so quiet. So… calm.
"Wh-why me?"
"Desmond Comperland." The voice responded, the cold thing traced her back again.
The woman widened her eyes, "H-He sent you!?" She gulped, "I-I told him I wouldn't tell anyone, I swear I didn't! It was just one night of fun that went too far, for no reason!"
"If you want to die with no pain, you have to tell the truth."
The woman gasped as suddenly some sharp and painful went into her calf muscle. She screamed and jolted against her bonds, she shook the bed and thrived. "Please, let me go I don't know… I don't know anything!"
"Desmond Comperland paid you for sex six years ago, didn't he?" The voice said, their voice was like a calm river.
"Y-yes… I used to be a prostitute… I-I stopped, I don't do that anymore!"
"I know. Because I know how you got out of your profession. By using it to your best advantage."
The woman shook her head, "No-No! I just did what my clients told me to do!" She sobbed, "Fucking hell I even got fucked in the ass by three men in one night because of one of them, do you think that is using my former job to my advantage?"
"That is what I know you did, yes."
The woman strained against the ropes, "N-no I am just a business woman now!"
"And how did you get to that point?"
She sniffed, "Desmond… Desmond Comperland asked me to marry him several months after he paid for my profession…" She shook her head, "I- I said yes after a few dates, he was… nice."
"But your profession did not end after you married him." The voice mumbled.
"Yes, it did!" She gasped as she felt that cold blade, now wet with only what she could guess to be her own blood, run against her other calf muscle.
"Desmond Comperland was a perverted twenty six year old billionaire, who liked seeing you… help him." She said softly, "He asked you to fuck all of his colleagues at office parties, and you had to make sure they fucked hard… right?"
"N…No…AGH!" She screamed as the supposed blade plunged into her other calf.
Suddenly a harsh light went in her face, she strained to see anything past her nose. Suddenly a picture went right up against her face. Blurriness disappeared, and suddenly she was presented with a picture of her own bruised body. Bleeding buttocks, burnt skin in various places, nipples almost skinned and bite marks around them. She thought those days… those memories were controlled. She thought everything was her construction of normal now. Her little baby… her dogs, her new life… her husband, she thought that those things were the only things she'd have to worry about now.
She apparently dreadfully wrong.
"What… do you- what do you want me to say?"
"You took these photographs - or better yet, your second husband did. Emilio De Aguila, right?"
The woman sniffed, "F-fine. Ok. My ex-husband took them, bu-but it was for a good reason. D-Desmond- he-he was crazy! He married a woman before me and made her do the same as I had to…But she died, ok? Unexpectedly, and her body was never buried. So I went to an undercover detective, like the old ones that still roam the rougher streets of this country. And… Well, he told me that we could bring him down. I just had to keep doing what he told me, and record it in anyway I could." She sniffed.
"But you fell in love, the motive went from one thing to another. Justice to Lust."
"Emilio was… so nice. One time I was beaten so badly that I had to go to a hospital. Desmond was out of town… I called Emilio and he looked after me. It started from there."
"And yet, when you finally went to the M.W.P.S.B with these claims, it did not stop there did it?"
The woman suddenly snapped, writhing under the ropes and screaming. "And so fucking what! So what if I fell in love with another man besides Emilio! I deserved it! I deserved the good shit for once. I deserved to be made love to, I deserved to have two men lust over me like I was Cleopatra or some shit! I deserved it! I don't give a shit if I ruined a stupid cop's life over it. I don't care, because I deserve the best! I deserve it!"
"Desmond Comperland is now in a high security institution. His Psycho-Pass is over 300, he is now so far gone I hear they're thinking of executing him. His colleagues that abused you joined gangs soon after the arrests, because of your lust… your… misguided desires, those men's psycho-passes got so high that the M.W.P.S.B shot them with exterminators. Emilio De Aguila committed suicide not long after your affair with your current husband, Derek Comperland… Desmond's brother, was made public…" The voice muttered, as if the information wasn't all that interesting at all. "Their punishments have already been done. It is only you that has been let go, able to run free wherever you please."
The person sighed, "There is one thing defines the difference between Greed and Lust. And it is the only difference between you and the other woman I killed… she was Greed by the way, just incase you did not understand." She trailed the knife up her spine, and mumbled. "Greed wanted nothing more than money, and did not care who she hurt in the process to get it. However… she covered her tracks well. She did not want to be caught. She did not want people to know."
She paused the knife above her shoulder blade. The woman flinched. "You, however, made sure that you were as public as possible. You brought the incident to papers, got interviews, sympathy from helplines and fellow abused men and women. You weren't doing this for materialistic reasons, you were doing it for intimacy. The love and desire you got from the public fuelled you to do more. To get more attention. You lusted over it. That's even why you had a baby right? Not because you wanted a child, but because you wanted the attention from the press. 'Look at the recovering victim finally settling down,' is what people thought."
"You did not care who you hurt, you just wanted more intimacy from people. The lusting feeling of being craved. But you were sloppy. Your past is too easily accessed. A smart person wouldn't take long to figure out your game. Heck you married the brother of your first husband, your abuser. How simplistic could you be? You don't love, madame. You lust. That is what all of your persona is. Lust. And Lust should be punished."
And then, before she knew what was happening, a black bag was wrapped around her head and everything went black.
She was outside again, in a large abandoned field that was a thirty minute hike from Kogami's cabin. The hike was long and tedious, but it was for a good reason. The offer Kogami made was too good to refuse. Which is why she did not complain the whole way there. She didn't accept his help until the last leg of the steep path, where she almost slipped and almost hit her head. From there, Kogami held her hand.
He said he didn't mind decreasing her chances of blacking out on him again. As much as his comment was cocky, Akane was however thankful.
The offer Kogami made was a good one. Since Akane had come to a village where people like to abuse and fight consistently, she had to know how to protect herself in other ways than her self defence skills. Akane had said that her skills in defending herself had improved greatly since they had last laid eyes on each other.
Kogami took that opportunity to see how well she had actually improved.
Akane managed to defend herself for a good ten minutes. Kogami was true to his word before they started their friendly duel. He wouldn't let up on her, even if she was still recovering and a female. After all, a man in this village wouldn't stop a fight with her just because she had female genitals.
She managed to finally floor him after the tenth minute, rolling on her front and launching herself forward to the placed gun on the snow and aiming it at Kogami, who put his arms up in surrender. A smirk placed lazily on his mouth.
"Not bad," he said.
"Thank you," She replied sternly. "Now are we actually going to get to the matter at hand?"
He nodded, walking to her and taking the gun. "See those pots and plates I set up? I want you to shoot them." After checking the rounds, he returned the gun to her.
"Be truthful, is a real gun any different than a Dominator?" She queried
He smiled sadly, "Only that you're the one who chooses to pull the trigger."
She looked away for a moment, the cold wind harshly biting her cheek as she eyed up the targets. She stood as she would normally with a Dominator, a strong arm and the gun almost up to eye level. However she realised that must've made a mistake when she took a shot and missed the plate she had aimed for, by several inches. "Hmph…" she frowned.
"Here." He stepped behind her, he was suddenly very close to her. She could feel his heat and smell his cologne over the bitterly cold air. He manoeuvred hers hands to the correct way, and pulled back her arms so that they were lower. He was practically hugging her from behind. Her breath hitched, as she felt his cheek brushed against hers.
She shot again and missed, she was closer but missed. She huffed, "You distracted me."
She could almost feel his smirk against her cheek. She gritted her teeth together, relax Akane…
He sighed, "You can't be so easily distracted if a real fight were to occur, Tsunemori."
"Hard not to be when you're practically hugging me." She mumbled low under breath, unsure whether he heard or not, she aimed another shot. She felt him adjust her slightly again, muttering for her to be prepared for the projecting feeling in her arms. After all the gun was strong, usually a person her weight and height would be flying due to its projecting force.
When she took the next shot, she was happy to see the plate smash and fly into different directions. Kogami told her to do it to all the plates. She managed to get them all. He smiled, Akane swore she saw a tint of pride flutter through his expression.
He went back behind her and muttered, "Okay, now I am going to distract you even more, see if you can still take the shot, Tsunemori."
She blinked as she reloaded, when she went into her previous position, she suddenly felt his hands on her waist. She stilled, "Kogami?"
"Don't get distracted." His hot breath tickled her neck and ear.
She swallowed shakily, "I'll try."
However, she practically lost it when he stepped away from her. Suddenly he was in front of the targets, staring right at her. She froze. "Kogami, what are you doing?" She said, her voice strained.
"One day you're going to have to make the choice of either shooting that bullet at me, or the people trying to also attack me. You will choose to either save me or kill me, Tsunemori." He muttered, "Choose."
Choose? So… that is his idea of a distraction?
She aimed, suddenly her whole body shook with anger. She was pissed off at him. How dare he, after all this time and effort in trying to find him, to be with him even for a little while, make her choose between killing him and saving him.
She would've shot him if she hadn't seen the true point behind his words. Because in reality, one day she might be forced to make that choice. And whether she loved him or hated him, or cushioned somewhere in between, she would have to make that choice eventually. And he, feeling similar emotions, knew that.
It was his way of saying that he forgives her, before she actually had to place judgement onto him.
She sighed and lowered her gun and muttered, "When the day comes I will shoot you, if I see no other way. I will. But for now, you're just being a complete asshole, Kogami." She threw the gun on the snow and started to walk away from him.
I just hope that day doesn't come too quickly, or at all.
I am sorry for the really late update. I have been really busy lately, and have had a lot of personal issues that involve my grandmother and nursing homes, so I have been preoccupied. Thank god though for the Psycho-Pass movie inspiring me to do a chapter.
So Lust has been chosen. Kogami has practically sussed out Sphinx, but why are Sphinx helping Kogami and Akane see each other once again? Akane also isn't going to take any of your shit Kogami, no matter how many bacon and eggs you make her. xD
I also will apologise if if the scene with Sphinx and the victim was disturbing to anyone, and or triggered anyone. That wasn't my intention in the slightest! Also the extra Romanian words is for reviewer Fel who's reviews made me very happy. So thank you very much Fel, if you keep reading I hope you like it, haha. (Also i hope I got it right?)
