The Doctor walked into the library hoping to find his companion. Luckily he was rewarded when he spotted her sitting on one of the pillow couches with her nose in a book. Smiling, he skipped over to her and plopped himself down beside her.
"Hello, Rose!" he said happily and leaned forward give her cheek a peck. Rose, however, brought her hand up and halted him to his dismay.
"Shh!" she hushed him. "I'm reading."
The Doctor frowned against her fingers and mumbled, "Soh? I vant to kish you."
"Kiss me later," Rose said, still not looking at him and engrossed in her book. "I'm at a good part."
The Doctor pulled away from her hand and craned his head to look at her book cover saying, "What are you reading anyways?"
"Heat Wave," Rose replied quickly, "by Richard Castle."
"What's it about?" the Doctor asked. "Is it interesting? There's a woman on the cover with a gun, is it a cop book? Is there romance? Sex? Violence? Mystery? Do you like it?"
Rose sighed heavily and set her book down. She turned to the Doctor with an annoyed expression. He returned with a stupid grin.
"There's no way I'm gonna get you to leave me alone is there?" she said unamusedly.
"Hmm," the Doctor frowned, and then grinned, "Nope!"
Rose rolled her eyes and said, "Then what could I do to get you away?"
"I don't want to leave," he pouted. "I wanna be with you! I don't mean to bother you—"
"You sorta are."
"But," the Doctor gave her a glare. "Can I stay and read with you?"
Rose raised a brow at him and crossed her arms.
"Please?" the Doctor wined and gave her his best puppy-dog face.
"Fine," Rose sighed and put her hands up in surrender. "You can stay."
"Yay!"
"But you have to let me read my book," Rose shook a finger at him. "No interruptions, got it?"
"I can do that," the Doctor smiled and gave Rose a quick kiss. "Promise. Cross my hearts."
Rose smiled as he snuggled up beside her, resting his head on her shoulder while he held one of her hands. With her free hand, Rose picked up her book and started reading again. The two stayed in silence for a few moments before the Doctor spoke up.
"Rose Tyler," he said. "Are you reading porn?"
