"What's your favorite type of ice cream?" The Doctor asked his sick companion.
"Mint chip," Rose sniffed. "Why?"
"No reason," he said. "I'll be right back."
"Wha?" Rose sneezed, and called after him as he left, "Where're you goin'?"
"Be right back," he answered. Rose blew her nose and pulled the thick blanket she had around her tighter. She absolutely hated colds, especially strange alien colds. But of course, she had to get one.
The Doctor came back after a few minutes carrying two bowls in his hands. He sat down at the edge of Rose's bed and offered her one.
"Thought you could do with something tasty," he said. "Since you aren't feelin' so well."
Rose smiled as she saw a large helping of mint chip ice cream resting in the bowl. Eating a spoonful she let out a happy hum.
"Mmm," she smiled as she took another bite. "Dis is great."
"Good," the Doctor said with a smug grin. "Cos it's got some Ilredilitynol in it to make you feel better."
"'S got what?!" Rose said in a horrified tone. "Did you drug me?!"
"That I did," the Doctor smiled and took a bite of his own ice cream. "You need to get better if we're to go to the Yigalt festival tomorrow."
Rose frowned at her ice cream. The Doctor noticed she'd stopped eating and he prompted her, "Oi, finish up."
"You drugged me," Rose glared at him. "How am I suppose' to trust you now?"
"Oh, come on," the Doctor rolled his eyes. "Would you have taken the medicine if I'd come in carrying the bottle with the gross looking green liquid in it?"
"…probably not," Rose agreed and hesitantly took another bite of ice cream. "But still. No need to slippin' it in my dish."
"I want you to get better," the Doctor said. "You're no fun when you're sick."
"Oi," Rose said and slapped his arm playfully. "Watch it."
