Evil Hill: AHAHAHAHAHAHA
The med soldier was examining the injured soldier while in the tank.
"Finn, stay here and help with the injured." Chris ordered and Finn nodded. "Piers, you come with me." He finished and Piers walked over to him and they started off into the town.
"Maybe, there are some supplies at that hospital that'll help?" Piers suggested as a hospital came into view.
"Hopefully it won't hurt to look…" Chris said.
"By yourself?" A man said glancing at Piers walking over with two other soldiers behind him. One was obviously Marco and the other a female.
"He's not by his self…" Piers said turning to face him with a slight glare.
"Oh right because you're his knight in shining armor and you'll keep him safe from everything." The soldier said snidely.
"I've done more than you've e-" Piers was cut off.
"Oh please-" Then the man was cut off.
"McKenzie! Piers! Cool it now or you're both staying behind." Chris said roughly and hand on each of their chests keeping them apart. Piers like the good little boy he was, nodded.
"This isn't an Easter egg hunt. There's no prize so keep your selves in check, alright!?" He finished.
"Okay." Piers nodded snatching away from the captain's grip and turning away and starting off again.
"Yeah….." McKenzie said.
The woman shook her head. "What he mea-" Chris cut her off.
"I know what he meant. I don't mind the extra company, but you all better play nice…" Chris said catching up with Piers. "Quit acting like kids…" He added.
McKenzie started off after him grumbling, Marco and thefemalesoldier shared a look before following after the others through the 'fog'.
Piers and Chris walked ahead of the others that followed.
"He's not going to do anything but try to cause trouble captain." Piers said quietly meaning McKenzie.
"You're both gonna cause trouble if you just don't ignore him Piers." Chris said. "I thought you were better than that…" He added harshly.
He was better than that. But how could he be working with that jerk McKenzie always messing with Claire. Sure Piers knew Claire wouldn't go for that, but he still didn't like it.
Piers looked back at McKenzie, who blew him a kiss and laughed afterwards. Piers just shook his head and looked away.
"Never knew you were a part of that life McKenzie." The female soldier said and Marco chuckled.
"What? No, you know what I meant…" He said. "Why are you always turning my stuff against me?"
"Haven't you heard? What goes around comes around." She answered.
McKenzie snorted. "So what, you're lady karma now?" He said looking over at her.
"Maybe." She said in a smooth tone walking past him as he glared at her.
Piers approached the hospital first seeing the front entrance having been boarded up.
"I'll help you out with those." Marco said walking over and he and Piers started prying them loose.
" McKenzie you stay here with them, Williams you come with me." Chris said and the female soldier addressed as Williams nodded.
"Where are you going?" Piers asked.
"I'm gonna take a look around. You wait for me before going inside." Chris told him and he and Williams started off around Alchemilla hospital going down KOONTZ St.
Him and Williams walked down the street cautiously as it seemed to get darker and darker as they advanced. They crept up slowly, clicking on the small tactical flashlights by their temples and kept their guns at the ready.
The two heard a low growl making them stop right outside WILSON St. turning to there left, guns now pointed down the foggy dark street and they waited for the noise again as everything got quiet…Just then another growl was heard, but coming from where they were heading and as soon as Williams turned back to her right, a huge dog-like beast jumped her knocking her gun out of her hands and pinning her to the ground. On contact Chris went to fire but missed, as the one on WILSON St. leaped out hooking its mouth onto his arm and pulled him down and slammed him into the ground.
Chris let out a loud grunt as he hit and as the 'dog' let go of his arm trying to go for his throat, he gave it his arm again and clenched his jaw at the pain and grabbed his knife with his free hand. He then lodged it into the beast's skull so far it came out through the other side and the dog-like beast soon went limp. He quickly pushed it off and got up and turned around to see Williams holding a foot on the beast's throat that attacked her, and then put three bullets in its skull.
"What the hell we-" Chris started as he walked over picking up his gun, but stopped as he looked back at Williams seeing her standing with her gun pointed at him.
"Williams!?" Chris said glaring at her slightly, and she then fired.
Chris just stood then turned just in time to see another one of the beasts fall. Obviously it was attempting to attack him from behind.
"Sorry if I came off the wrong way." Williams said jokingly putting her MP-AF away and grabbing her AK off the ground as Piers came running down the street.
"Piers? What are you doing I told you to wait for me." Chris said demandingly.
"I know, but that dumbass McKenzie ran in and Marco went after him!" Piers said.
"Damn it!" Chris cursed. "Alright let's go after them, be-" Chris said already starting off exiting the street, but was cut off as a yell was heard making him stop.
"Can't ever get a break!" Piers said and the three of them ran off again turning left out of the KOONTZ St. and into the hospital.
"Which way did he go!?" Chris asked hurriedly.
"This way!" Piers said breaking left running into the open door, and in the elevator just ahead of him, a woman it looked like, tackled Marco into the elevator and as soon as Piers fired the doors shut.
"Get this bitch off of me!" Marco yelled getting pressed against the elevator door by the rabid nurse who was stronger than she looked. The woman was constantly trying to plunge a rusty knife into his throat. Chris and Williams watched the door in case of any attack from behind.
"I can't get a clear shot!" Piers yelled his gun still aimed, and just then as the nurse tackled Marco to the floor, Piers fired and took her down.
Marco laid there breathing heavily as she fell off. "Thanks…" He breathed out going to get up as Chris and Piers were now trying get the door open.
Piers nodded at him then looked over to his right to see McKenzie fall back out of a room, and two nurses came stumbling out on top of him with needles.
"Williams!" Chris said her name glaring slightly at her.
"You don't have to tell me twice." She said already shooting the nurses on McKenzie.
"Is it that dumbass McKenzie!? I swear when I get outta here I'm gonna kick his a-" Marco was cut off as a pale beast tore through the elevator from the outside and stabbed Marco in the back of the shoulder.
"AAAGH!" He yelled grabbing at the spiked arm that went through his shoulder.
"MARCO!" Chris yelled pulling on the door even more with Williams.
"It's like it's stuck, I can't get it open!" Williams said as Piers was trying to get a clear shot at the monster but couldn't without the bullets ricocheting or the beasts high tolerance for pain.
The beast stabbed it's other arm into Marco's rib cage making him scream out in pain, right before the elevator launched down at a dangerous speed, making Chris and 'Williams' have to let go. Marco's screams echoed all the way down, and then there was a crashing sound followed by silence…
Williams swallowed looking at Chris as she stepped back, as Chris stared down into the dark hole that the elevator went to.
McKenzie got up and looked around at them then swallowed seeing all eyes on him.
"W-what…" He said in a puzzled tone as Chris walked over and shoved him against the wall.
"Captain…!" Piers said not wanting the situation to get out of control.
"Didn't I tell you to wait?" He said inches away from the man's face glaring evilly directly into his eyes.
"Y-yes…" McKenzie said with a swallow.
"Yes, WHAT?" He growled in-between his teeth grimly.
"Yes sir." He said locked into the captain's vicious glare.
Chris let go of the soldier and went back and picked up his gun. "C'mon…we're gonna get mike." He said going to some stairs.
Claire, Sheva and Chad made way back through the park and went to scope out the newly infected town, while Jill, Stark and the dummy that messed with the swings, Cal, were heading back to the school.
"Why're we coming here again?" Stark asked even though he was never there the first time.
"Because, when those things attacked us and the doors closed on us we didn't get to take a look around." She said.
"So you panicked and got scared and forgot about the search 'cause the doors slammed on you?" He joked and gave him a look.
"Shut up…" Was all he got in response as they entered the building and he chuckled to himself.
Cal, in a way to make up for his crew up from earlier, put down the door stops on the doors leaving them open AND put the heaviest pieces of broken concrete from the broken roads that he could lift, in front of each door. HE then caught up with Jill and Stark.
"The hell were you?" Stark whispered giving Jill the signal that the next hall was clear and she moved in.
"Making sure the door don't slam again." He said and Stark just stared at him for a few seconds.
"Yeah, okay." He said and followed after Jill.
"Hey. you gyus think maybe we should split up? I mean, we'll cover more ground that way and it'll just take longer if w-"
"If we stay together to watch each others backs?" Stark finished making Cal stutter trying to fix what he meant.
"He's right Stark." Jill interrupted. "So far everything here's not that bad. I can handle myself through a school." She said.
"Uh, no I'm not letting you go by yourself." Stark said before turning to Cal. "We stick together Cal, you don't need to go running off trying to pl-"
"Stark?" Cal said after looking behind his partner with a swallow.
"What?"
"She's gone…"
Stark whipped around to see that Jill had disappeared.
"Messing with you…" He said glancing at Cal with a sigh.
"Guess we're checking out the other hall then?" Cal said nervously as Stark just started walking in the opposite direction of where Jill had gone and down the other hall.
"Okay…" Cal trailed, following after Stark.
Jill moved through the hall cautiously, searching every room she came across. She came into one classroom slowly and shut the door behind her. She scanned the room before seeing some folders on the teacher's desk with a strange symbol on the front. This got her attention and she went over to them, glancing over to one desk that had strange symbols and "Witch" scribbled all over it.
Once she reached the desk she stopped startled a bit by the severed body on the other side. It was covered in maggots and other unspeakable things. She stepped over the bottom half and behind the desk and opened the file. Her eyes went wide seeing the files inside of the folder…Umbrella files. She closed the folder and went to leave before double taking and seeing the man's upper half holding a key in his hand. It was obviously of old make and had that strange symbol at the top of it with a combination of the umbrella symbol it looked it.
She bent down slowly unaware of the door opening behind her, and slid the key out of the man's hands and as she did his arm fell from his chest to the floor. She stood observing the key wondering what it went to, but seeing that it had the Umbrella logo and this guy had it, it had to be something not good. She turned to leave and her eyes went wide again and she jumped out of the way over the desk from a huge sword that was brought down at her but instead sliced into the dead man's upper half.
"What the hell are you?!" She said looking at the tall shirtless man wielding the large weapon and a strange triangular prism of a helmet on his head.
He never spoke and only walked towards Jill, who shook her head.
"Yeah, Like I'm gonna wait for you." She said sarcastically running for the door and when she reached it she stopped in disbelief.
The walls started talking off as well as the door, and it was now a barb wired, bloody, rusty covered mess, the door now becoming some kind of deformed face that made a horrible mewl as giant bugs flew out of the mouth onto her making her step back dropping the key and file. She swatted frantically snatching the bugs off of her and noticed that one of them…Had a face! A human face! They all had a humans face! This made Jill scream out of disgust and run to the back of the room away from the man and the bugs squirting into the room.
"Did you hear that!?" Stark said putting a hand on Cal's chest stopping him.
"Yeah it's Jill!" Cal said and both took off down the halls.
Jill started to breathe heavily as the tall man got closer to her and more of the insects filled the room.
"You people are seriously messed up." She said as the sword came down at her again.
She rolled out of the way now behind him, and rattled his back with bullets making him stumble forward. The tall man fell and as he did she quickly turned to the door that was now the deformed face and unloaded her gun into it. The face let out another loud mewl and even more bugs flew out of the mouth before it finally stopped, going limp.
The screech was enough to make Jill fall. It had the effect of firing a pistol while in a tank. The bugs crawled onto her covering body the struggled to get them off but they continued to cover her body. She could see the blur of the room start to go back to normal and the tall man coming towards her again, and then there was darkness.
