Evil Hill: Trahahahahahahaahahhaahahahahahahaha!

As Chris and his team went down the stairs, the man brewed silently. Marco had to be okay. He was one of his toughest and there's no way…He just had to be alive. Marco had to. He actually had a family to get back to people depending on him. Waiting for him to come home after saving the day.

"It's alright Captain. Marco's one of the toughest guys I know." Piers said reassuring him. He always seemed to know what Chris thinking.

"I know, I don't need you to tell me." Chris said not wanting to think about it, just get down there and get him back.

"Okay…" Piers said with a nod. He slowed, letting Chris take on the lead with Williams. This put him in the back with McKenzie, which made the man uneasy.

"So this why you were so eager to come along? To get us all killed?" Piers whispered harshly.

"It wasn't my fault…" McKenzie said coldly in return.

"Really? Because running off ahead was just what you intended to do and go against the Captain's orders?" Piers stopped him as the other two went on ahead.

"Listen. Why don't you crawl out of the Captain's ass sometimes? Standing around waiting on him wasn't going to get anything done." McKenzie growled.

"You two boys done with your drama?" Williams asked. "You're gonna piss him off even more if you keep that up." She was then back to following Chris.

"Piers! Come look at this!" Chris called from downstairs.

"Your masters calling…" McKenzie gave Piers a glare and the man ignored him, going to see what Chris had found.

"Blood trail, seems fresh." He said seeing the trail of blood leading from the elevator down the hall. "It's gotta be Marco's right?"

"Yeah, let's go." Piers nodded and the two of them followed the trail. They went down the halls cautiously soon coming to a stop. At the end there were two blood trails breaking off into both the left and the right.

Williams inspected. "They're both fresh. Should we split?" She asked.

"Yeah. You come with me again, Piers you watch McKenzie." Chris said and the man huffed.

"I don't need the babysitter." McKenzie added.

"Apparently you do. Now c'mon." Piers said and the two of them took the trail to the right, as Chris and Williams went left.

They had to turn their lights on again as they trekked down the murky, dark hallways. They couldn't see in the darkness and from all the floating debris the lights seemed to only make it worse.

"It's so hard to breath in this damn place…" McKenzie cursed kicking a gurney out of his way.

"Aren't you wearing a mask?"

"Well yeah, but it's only getting stuck up in there." He said and the short haired blonde took it off. "And it doesn't get any better."

"Get used to it." Piers said quietly as he found where the trail ended. He gave McKenzie a signal and the man got into position. Piers opened the door slowly and McKenzie took point.

"Nothing…It looks empty." He said shining his light around inside. The room did appear empty.

"After you." Piers said and McKenzie rolled his eyes and went on in the room. As soon as Piers moved to follow, McKenzie fell back out of the room.

"What?! What is it!?" Piers said checking if he was okay.

"M-Marco…" He said pointing into the room. Piers looked off into the room, he got up prepared for whatever was inside and went in.

He almost gagged seeing the scene. It wasn't all of him but it was Marco. Half of him anyway. The body looked like it was ripped in half as his entrails spilled out to the side. Piers wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt, then saw the dog tags. Thank god…It wasn't Marco…But something was still strange about the scene. Piers stood and went outside to McKenzie.

"McKenzie, it wasn't Marco it-" Piers looked around and saw that McKenzie was gone. "Dammit! McKenzie!? McKenzie!" Piers yelled running off to find the man.

Meanwhile, Williams and Chris found the other half. Chris was upset once again to see another one of his men down. But there were no dog tags.

"Maybe it's not him." Williams said standing behind him, watching him with a frown through her mask.

"There was no else here! Who else could it be…His tags must be on his other half." Chris said and stood.

"I get you want to go get them. But Piers and McKenzie are handling that. We should worry about the mission." She reminded him and started back off down the hall.

Chris knew she was right, but also too frustrated to listen. He eventually followed after her then stopped as his headaches started again. Images and scenes of Wesker invading his mind.

"Ngh!" He fell to a knee, Williams running back to him.

"You okay?!"

"Y-Yeah, just- Agh!" Again more of Wesker, starting from the volcano, and going back all the way to the mansion. What? Why? What was so important there?

Meanwhile…

Claire stopped with a sigh looking around the town. "All this fog…Whatever this is, it's everywhere."

"Yeah, I noticed." Sheva said coming up to her. "You okay?" She asked, starting to take off her mask.

"Yeah I'm fine-Wait don't do that." Claire went to stop her.

"I think she's gonna be okay..." Chad said and took his off. "It's just ash. Plus it keeps mucking up the goggles."

"He's right." Sheva said removing her mask, catching some of the filth in her hand. "It's just ash…"

"But what's burning?" Claire looked around.

"It has to be from Silent Hill. Where Chris and the others are." Chad said. "It's a fire all under the city."

"So you think the fire's just spread?" Claire asked him knowingly.

"Yes."

"Well then okay, isn't it strange how the fire spread with the outbreak?" Claire said taking lead again.

"You think the fire has something to do with it?" Sheva asked following, and keeping her mask on, Chad quickly put his back on.

"Yeah, don't you?" Claire asked.

"I wouldn't put it past Wesker…There's no telling what all he's done to this place…Let alone the fact he even had anything to do with it." She said looking around taking in the scenery.

"Wesker was twisted and evil. There's not anything his sick mind wouldn't try to do." Claire said and the three of them continued their scouting.

"I can second that." Sheva said agreeably.

"He must've been really bad." Chad said following them along carefully.

Luckily, there wasn't much going on and they were pretty much free to explore. They place had seemed so empty and scarce…It seemed to quiet. Claire and Sheva both ended up splitting up. Chad looked back and forth at both of them, and followed after Claire.

"You're going to let her go on by herself?" Chad asked following Claire to an old gas station.

"Shh. She can handle herself. I saw someone in there." She said creeping up to the building…And that she did see someone.

"O-Okay." Chad followed after her. She gave him the signal to go around back and nodded.

She entered the front door, following where she saw the person move.

"Show yourself! If there are any survivors in here, we're here to help." She said still looking around. Nothing.

"Maybe it was your imagination?" Chad said with a shrug. Claire still had a strange feeling…

"No…I saw someone in here. It was a woman I'm sure of it." She said looking around still…As the blonde woman stood amongst them. She looked sullen, yet like she understood something.

"Let's go." She said leaving and Chad following after again.

She started after them, until another blonde woman grabbed her by the arm. She was in a plice uniform with a very short haircut.

"What are you doing?" She asked sternly.

"She was me, maybe we can help them! They have no idea what they're dealing with. Do you know anything about a Wesker?" The woman asked looking very concerned. She'd never seen or heard the man's name before and it made her curious.

The police woman shook her head. "Not a clue."

"Think we could check the archives?" She asked and the police woman shrugged.

"Maybe we should just leave it alone…"

"Well I'm going to try to warn them!" She said and the long-skirt wearing woman ran out after Claire and Chad. The police woman groaned and ran after her.

"Dammit!" Stark cursed storming out of the classroom. "She's gone! I knew we shouldn't have split up!"

"Stark-"

"This is your fault! If I hadn't of been-"

"Kyle! She was here!" Cal said holding up the key and file, the pointed to the door. "This is the only door she didn't mark. This had to be the last place she was at."

Stark took the key and file from Cal. "She wouldn't leave these behind either would she?"

"no." Cal shook his head. "So you think someone took her?" Cal asked worriedly.

"Or something." Stark said looking back at the condition of the room. "C'mon, we gotta find her."

"Wait- Which way do you think they would've gone?" Cal asked stopping him.

"No, idea but we can't just not look for her! Follow me and stay close." Stark told himand the two of them went back to retrace Jill's steps.

They lurked quickly and quietly down the murky halls, checking all the marked classroom doors. There was nothing in the old ruins of classrooms. They then searched the rest of the school, inspecting any other room. They krept down the halls, Cal pushing the doors open quickly and Stark ready to fire.

"You still want me to mark these right?" Cal asked taking out a small spray can.

"Yeah." HE groaned frustratedly, and snatched off his mask. "dammit! Can't believe we can't find her…"

"We'll find her. Besides, I'm sure she's fine. Valentine can handle herself. She was Chris' partner after all." Cal said and Stark snorted.

"Chris…" He said looking down at the floor.

"Uuuh….Oh shit…Not again." He said to himself as the walls started to flake, the paint and everything peeling away. The siren wailed from the distance.

"U-Um…S-Stark?" Cal called to him. "Stark- Shit!" HE looked over then quickly jumped back seeing the man restrained by some stranded.

"Cal, behind you! Run!" He yelled, and as Cal looked around to see, he was hit over the head with something and knocked out.

"Fucking bastards! We're the damn help let us go!" And like that, Stark was knocked out, the stranded not caring about anything they said.

"They've doomed us all. Leave them for the evil, we have to get out of here." One of them said and the group of them took off.

The sirens seemed to begin to wail even louder as the school deformed again. There were the loud thud of heavy boots, followed by strange clicking sounds. It were men in hazmat suits but they were different. Deformed and possessed by the darkness. Especially since they were traveling along the twisted child-like creatures. They group of them closed in around Stark and Cal…

Meanwhile…

Jill groaned as she started to stir. Her entire body, felt heavy, especially her limbs. She went to mover herself but couldn't. She tried again and her clanging. Her eyes fluttered open and she looked to see herself restrained on a bed.

"Ngh! Mmngh! Damn!" She snatched and jerked at the chains and nothing. She looked around for something that could help and the room seemed completely empty.

She then heard heavy footsteps, followed by the sound of something being dragged. It was the man with the helmet again. She swallowed, and with no other option, she pretended to be out again right before he entered. Her body tensed as she heard him get closer, then heard nothing. She was almost tempted to open her eyes and look over but kept still. She suddenly felt a cold hand through her suit and clenched her jaw. The hand slowly went up her leg, and over her abdomen. It went up to the top of her suit and seemed to be inspecting the zipper. She balled her fists.

"Don't! Take her to the church. We need her clean to appease the gods." She heard a voice, distorted by a mask, and her zipper was left alone.

She then heard her chains being broken, and quickly opened her eyes. As soon as the tall helmet man undid her last bind at her arms. She quickly rolled off the other side of the bed. He grunted raising his sword, and came down with it onto the bed, destroying it. Jill wasn't there. She broke and ran out, not sure where she was.

She could hear him coming after her and she stopped looking around quickly. She didn't have any weapons and could either keep running, or hide. She decided to stop, and hide, cloaking herself behind one of the heavy, foul smelling hazmat suits that hung on the wall. They were drenched in something unmentionable and it was hard for her to breath. She stiffened and held her breath as he came through. He stopped, in front of where she was hiding and looked around. She then noticed one of her guns attached to his belt. Would it be stupid to reach for it? Of course it would. She stopped herself, and waited for him to pass.

After he continued on, she let out a sigh of relief. She waited until he couldn't be heard anymore, and stepped out of the suits.

"Now to figure out where I am…But I need my weapons first." She said looking around. This was one of the last places she wanted to be without weapons.

She first went through the hazmat suit for anything and only found a couple of pipes and a baton. Either would do, and she could only carry one at the moment. If she chose the baton, she'd only be able to incapacitate. It'd take forever to kill something with a baton, but not a pipe. She chose the pipe, then went back to inspect the room she was heled in. She looked around the bed for something, anything, and found her knife on the floor in a corner.

"Original." She said to herself and grabbed her knife, now leaving the room. "Hopefully I can find my guns now."

Jill walked out of the room quietly and looked around. She had already checked that area, and there was nothing else she could do there. She proceeded on down the hall, pipe in hand and knife in her boot. She got frustrated seeing there weren't any doors, and put herself against the filthy wall. She peeked around slowly, just in time to NOT see the Trojan man go down another hall. She looked both ways and it appeared clear to her. She went on around the corner and there was a door on the wall to her left, and another one straight ahead of her down the long metal hall.

"Big heavy door, or small bathroom door." She said to herself, thinking that the big one would eventually lead to her freedom. She squinted her eyes then noticed it some strange indention on it. Some kind of keyhole maybe? She'd have to get closer.

She went to inspect the door more closely, and saw some strange insignia on it. Then some odd, disgusting fleshy looking pieces stretched out, at all four corners of the door, with indentions. So she'd need four keys it seemed. And they'd need to be turned.

"Great. As if the key game doesn't get old enough." She said to herself and turned to leave.

As soon as she turned, she was caught by the throat. "Agh!"

The tall Trojan man lifted her up by the throat as she struggled. He dropped his sword, and reach out grabbing the front of her clothes, and left a hell of a scar for later as he dug into her chest.

"Naagh! Agh!" Before he could twist and pull, she wrapped her legs around his arms and spun herself up on them, and pulled out her knife, shanking him in the hands and arms until she ended up cutting off his fingers.

Jill hit the ground gasping for air and holding her chest. She looked up over to the Trojan man with a cough and quickly went around him as he let out angry muffled grunts looking at his fingers that turned into little roaches and scampered away. Jill quickly ran down the hall, and into that first small door she saw. He was pissed, and she was in a hell of a lot of trouble.

"Shit!" She said looking down at her partially bloody chest, her hands becoming covered in it. "I-It's not that bad…Y-you've had worse." She said to herself, then heard the quick, and heavy angry footsteps.

She looked around the, what she now noticed to be a strangely large bathroom, and noticed a hole in the wall. But it was covered in disgusting bugs. She toughed it out and quickly squeezed through, hiding herself in the small, dark closet on the other side…The door was busted down in the other room. She sat back quietly fighting the pain in her chest. She heard him pace the room frantically then stop near the crack.

"hi-" She started to gasp, but covered her mouth, as his arm reached into the crack grabbing around angrily for her. She squeezed herself against the wall as much as she could to stay out of his grasp.

He eventually gave up, and thudded out of the large bathroom. Jill peeked through the crack and watched him leave. She then noticed one of the strange insignia keys attached to him at his belt.

"Ugh…Great." She said to herself in disgust. Of course the big guy with the sword trying to rip her apart would have what she needs to get out of there. "I'll take care of him after I find the others first."

She quickly left the closet, and ended up in a bedroom. She gasped seeing a BSAA soldier tied to one of the beds, bound like she was. She quickly ran over checking for a pulse. He was alive, and luckily started to stir. She also noticed it was Stark, since the man didn't have his mask on.

"Hey? Hey, you okay?" She said smacking him a little and he snapped into it.

"Huh?" HE spazzed a moment. "Jill! Jill you're okay!" H said relieved.

"Yeah, be quiet. There's some psycho around here trying to kill us with a giant sword." Jill said trying to figure out how to get Stark loose.

"I think there's something over there in the corner." He said and Jill looked back to the corner where they was a body that was long expired. She found a pipe on it.

"Guess these guys really like there pipes." Jill said taking it from the corpse, and started breaking the legs of the bed, to slip and unwrap the chains from Stark.

"Oh, thank god! I thought I was dead for sure after those stranded jumped us." Stark said getting up and rubbing his wrists.

"Stranded jumped you? There's actually survivors here?" Jill now thinking to herself.

"Yeah. Don't think they're all friendlies though." He said looking around the room, and Jill handed him the pipe.

"I can second that. I heard a woman talking about, keeping me 'clean' to use me to appease the gods, after bastard tried to unzip my clothes." Jill said looking down at her chest and noticed the scar again.

"Damn! Are you okay, what the hell did he do to you!?" Stark reached out inspecting it. "I don't know much about patching up anything but cars. You'd need Cal to take a look at that."

"Where is Cal?" Jill asked quickly.

"Shit…I don't know. I never saw him when they brought me here." He said frustratedly.

"Well if you're here he should be here too." Jill said looking towards the door. "C'mon." She said and Stark followed after her out the door.

She explained the gun and keys situation to him, and they went on from there.

Sheva had ended up in what seemed to be a circus they had in town. She didn't appreciate the creepy rotten clown faces looking at her out there either. Not for a second did she proceed with her gun un-aimed. She looked around the place, and decided she should regroup back with Claire and Chad. As soon as she turned to leave, everything in the fair came on and started playing their distorted songs. She froze, looking around uickly for the conductor, which seemed to bethe fair itself.

hin…ou!

Sheva could've sworn she heard a voice. She looked out where it was coming from, taking a few cautious steps forward.

Be…hind….you! She heard it yelled again, then suddenly a blonde woman appeared, wearing a sweater and a long skirt.

"Behind you!" She yelled and pointed, and Sheva turned to see armless creatures with a very large ribcage.

They were different from the ones before, these ones had a strange glowing center behind their ribcage. Sheva took a step back warning the woman to get out of the way. As she fired at the beast, it seemed to do nothing but irritate them both. It made a screech, and reared back, then leaned forward releasing some kind of fog out of its open chest. Sheva made sure she was clear of it, and fired into the glowing heart. It happened to remind just then of Wesker's glowing heart at the volcano. After she did that she saw that it fell, and knew that was the weak point. The other one hobbled closer and as it went release its gross gas, she pulled out her handgun, finishing it off.

"Well that was easy…" She said and looked back to the blonde woman. "Are you oka-" But saw she was gone. "Hello?"

"Augh!" Suddenly she was grabbed from behind, her arms being restrained. She struggled, then just gave headbutt to whoever it was behind her.

She stepped away turning with her gun pointed at them and saw it was a strange man in a hazmat suit.

"Ow! Dammit!" He said holding his nose.

"Who are you!?" She asked, gun pointed to the man.

"I'm trying to help you!" He said with his hands up immediately.

"By restraining me?" She asked unconvinced, gun still on him.

"L-Look! Okay, I'm the Sheriff here! Well, I used to be! Name's Wheeler!" He said, then they were interrupted by voices in the distance.

'Over there! I heard them over there!' The voices, followed by other footsteps yelled.

"Over here if you want to live!" The man said and took off, Sheva running after him.

"I heard them over there!" The man said, him and his heavy boot squad running over. Sheva and claimed to be Wheeler quickly hid behind a carousel and an old stuffed animal booth.

They stayed there, quietly, waiting to see which way the men in suits went. As they had their backs turned, Sheva snuck over to the farther side where wheeler was. She peeked to see where they were and they were still loitering around. She then saw Claire and Chad hiding off in the distance. Their eyes met, and she signaled for them to go back.

Claire shook her head, not too keen on leaving her people behind. She signaled for Sheva to come over there. She wouldn't be leaving until she did. Sheva had no choice but to obey the Captain's order.

"They with you?" Wheeler whispered.

"Yeah." Sheva nodded, checking to see if the coast was clear. They hazmat men were gogin off to check another area.

She took that opening and took off to Claire and Chad with Wheeler.

"Who the heck are those guys?!" Chad whispered, gun on Wheeler.

"Wiat don't! He says he's that Sheriff. Wheeler." Sheva said stepping away from him and back to Claire's side.

"Take off your mask." Claire said, gun on him.

"What?"

"If you're him, show me your face." She said again.

"Tsk. Okay, okay, I understand." The man said taking off his mask. Age or whatever it may have been had hit him hard, but it was wheeler alright.

"I figured you'd be dead." Claire said lowering her weapon.

"Well that's reassuring. Where's the rest of the help?" He asked. "This scrawny little guy can't be it." He said looking to Chad.

"Hey-"

"The rest of our teams in town, and moved on ahead into Silent Hill." She answered. "C'mon."

The four of them were sneaking off away from the fair and back into town to regroup. It was way past time for that anyway.

"You let them go there!? You better get 'em out as soon as you can! That place screws with your mind, they won't make it a day there." Wheeler warned, starting to worry.

"I'll try radioing Jill and Chris." Sheva said and took out her radio. At first all she got was static. "Chris? Jill? Do you read?"

.

"Nothing. Jill should've at least responded, she not that far away." Sheva said looking up to Claire.

"Let's go, something might be wrong!" The four of them then ran off, ignoring the mewling monsters that started to gather around them. The creatures were moving slow, and they didn't have time to stop and play.

Jill wasn't responding, and was in some place unknown. Cal and Stark were about to undergo their own misfortunes and terror, Williams was stuck with Chris whose headaches were going for the worst, and Piers couldn't find McKenzie, almost tempted to go back without him. But he knew Chris would get mad at him for that so he had to find that 'idiot.'

I am SO sorry for this VERY late update! I hope you guys didn't give up on me! I've just had so much drama and misfortunes going on and school and everything, and just so MUCH. Plus, I have a baby to take care of now so, yeah. I hope this was satisfying! I'll be trying to update my other stories soon!
