Okay...I guess I kinda lied yesterday...SURPRISE! I decided to post ONE more chapter before I go on another 2-4 week hiatus to write more *facepalm* ...Before that though...EMOTIONAL ALERT LOL Yeah sorry if I've made certain characters over the top emotional but then again if YOU were in their position I think most of us may not care how we appear to everyone else :) Anyway Enjoy Chapter 15 ^.^
Days later…..
I felt like crap, the protest of my stomach CONSTANTLY bugging me, as only TWICE a day THREE if I was LUCKY would one of Bowser's lackeys or Even KAMEK come in and throw a SINGLE piece of fruit at me. Not EVEN fulfilling me even halfway. Even mocking me more by making sure of the constant refilling of the bowl daily. Occasionally Kamek would EVEN throw another blow of his Staff at me, agonizing my already tormented body. And he would cackle at my misfortune and suffering then leave, mocking me of how he couldn't wait to DESTROY the Brethren that I had descended from. I was starving and I had NO IDEA on how to cope with it. It became obvious to me that Bowser and Kamek were giving me food JUST enough to keep me ALIVE Nothing More NOTHING Less, which in it's toll weakened my already disintegrating body. Most of the time I would just curl up in a ball on the floor and struggle to force myself to sleep, in a desperate attempt to keep my mind off the agonizing pain I was forced to endure.
"Mama…..Dada….where ARE you? T.T" *
Back at the Mushroom Kingdom. Birdo's eyes suddenly opened as she sat herself up. She glanced next to her, Yoshi was still fast asleep however he seemed uneasy. At that moment Birdo became envious of her Husband she wanted to be fast asleep. Where she wouldn't have to think or FEELon how much she missed and longed for her Daughter. She wanted to fall into an endless sleep so she could see and be with her Daughter, be back EMBRACING the moments when Shelly was just a Baby…..a Toddler, Oh how she missed those moments of Happiness. Birdo's eyes suddenly filled with tears she just wanted to HEARher Daughter's voice again, to hold her Again….but this time Birdo was determined that she would NEVER let go again.
"Shelly…." Birdo sniffed, suddenly bursting into tears. Yoshi was suddenly awakened from his restless sleep, he quickly turned to see his Wife hunched over on her hands and knees sobbing. Yoshi immediately got up off the bed and embraced his Wife in a vain attempt to comfort her. "….I…I….Just want to see Shelly AGAIN!" Birdo wept, Yoshi felt a tightness in his chest. "I Want MY BABY!" Yoshi squeezed his eyes tightly, it took EVERYTHING that he had not to burst into tears as well.
Several hours went by and Yoshi had been able to comfort Birdo enough that he was able to get her out of the room however she remained mute the entire time.
"It's been a week….I…I don't think I can do this anymore….."
As Yoshi walked with his Wife he couldn't hide the overwhelming sorrow he felt. His entire life had always been full of Joy and Happiness, despite the occasional misadventures that came with life Yoshi had NEVER felt the overwhelming feelings of Sadness, Fear and Anger…NEVER did he have to be in constant custody of these feeling in those day to day things…But NOW…his Daughter…his ONLY Child had been taken from him and his wife, TAKEN Not knowing if they would EVER see her again. At that moment Yoshi's eyes began to water, what if he NEVER saw Shelly again…What would happen to Birdo? Before Shelly had been brought into their World, Birdo had ALWAYS been his ENTIRE World. If they Didn't find Shelly….Birdo would…..Yoshi couldn't BEAR to think what would happen to his Wife. Yoshi's thoughts were interrupted when he realized that they had made it to the Throne Room. Mario and the rest of the Royals gave reassuring smiles when they caught sight of their two Friends.
"Yoshi, Birdo we were about to go out to the Garden will you join us?" Peach asked gently. Birdo didn't respond however Yoshi glanced at Birdo and nodded. Getting outside could do Birdo some good and possibly ease some of her unhappiness. As Yoshi and Birdo fallowed Mario and the others, outside a commotion was getting underway…
* Alright QUICK note...WHENEVER Shelly appears to talk more child-like (for example the end of her POV the first Paragraph...what you're hearing is a very young Shelly's voice...this is gonna mean something later on in the story but for now just keep that in mind, It's Shelly, but then again it's "not" ^.^ what does this mean? You'll all find out later)
Anyway THIS time it's for real, this will be the last chapter for 2-4 weeks, I know it's a pain having to wait but I really don't wanna get stuck to a point where you'll all end up waiting months instead of weeks...so PLEASE bear with me ^.^ THANKS AGAIN! SEE YA ALL NEXT CHAPTER! :D
