Okay...Okay I KNOW I said I'd post on FRIDAY...but since Chapter 19 was SUCH a SHORT chapter ...I decided I'd post Chapter 20 early...SURPRISE! Although...that MAY mean that Chapter 21 may take an extra week to be posted...It's not GUARANTEED but just a warning ^^; ANYWAY before we get to the story I wanna give you all a heads up, the first part of the chapter may be a bit confusing...in an attempt to make it a "little" easier I have put Shelly's dialogue in Italics (at least for at the beginning) there is going to be SEVERAL people talking and I at least wanted to make it a little easier to distinguish which voice is Shelly and which voice is not... (sorry if that made Absolutely NO sense ^^; ) I wanna give a Special Shoutout to Happy Yoshi ^.^ THANK YOU for your continued support and reviews :) It makes posting this story all worthwhile :D Looks like you didn't have to wait for another week for your update ^.^ ENJOY!

ANYWAY enough of my ranting CHAPTER 20 COMMENCE!

"Shelly your Mother and I Love you Very Much"

"Um…..Dad…"

"Yes?"

"Thanks…..Love you"

"I love you too, Shelly"

...

"WAKE UP YOU PATHETIC INSECT!"

"No I WILL NOT wake up"

"I SAID WAKE UP"

"I WILL NOT!"

"Allow me"

BOOM!

"OW!"

"It doesn't seem to be working…?"

"Can't we just take it now?"

"NO she must be conscious for us to EXTRACT it"

"Then GET to it!"

"Yes your Gnarliness"

"…"

"WAKE UP!"

GASP

My body felt numb almost too numb to even move my body, it felt so weak that only my eyelids were willing to open.

"About TIME! Get her and make it SNAPPY"

I was suddenly lifted to my feet, as two pairs of hands had taken both of my arms. As I glanced over one of the figures holding me was a Hammer Bro while the other one was a Boomerang Bro. Glancing down I noticed a Fire Bro knelt next to me as he retrieved a key and used it to unlock my shackle. However immediately after both the Hammer and Boomerang Bro, had retrieved a rope conjured by Kamek and bound me tightly with it, my arms were forced down to my side and tied down. Afterward each of them took an end of the rope. For a second they had released me and for that brief moment my legs did not want to support my weight. However within seconds I was able to keep an unsteady balance. With a sharp tug of my rope I was led out of my cell. At this point I felt a deep sense of hopelessness as I sluggishly fallowed my captures with my head down. My feet and whole body aching in pain with every step that I took. As we walked down a hallway something suddenly caught my attention. My heat leapt as I caught sight of Ilario, he seemed to be leaning against the bars of his cell. I also caught sight of Angela and Azalea they too were leaned up against the bars of their cells. However within seconds Ilario had turned towards me his face was full of terror.

"SHELLY!" he called, Angela and Azalea both turned hearing his yell.

"WHERE ARE YOU TAKING HER!" Azalea yelled angry. I gave a whimper as I made an attempt to resist and get to my Friends. However both my captures gave sharp tugs at my ropes and pulled me forward. Bowser and Kamek laughed.

"BWA HA HA HA!" Bowser chuckled staring into each of the cells that held my Friends, his lackeys pulling me further down the hall.

"Don't you DARE HURT her!" Azalea yelled again. I once again made an attempt to break free and get to my Friends. However this time Bowser after quickly giving a smirk to my 3 Friends came up and gave me a hard shove in my head, stumbling I was led towards a large door. Kamek had also joined in by shoving me hard in the shoulder into the opening of the door.

"SHELLY!"
"SHELLY!"
"SHELLY!"

I could only whimper as they cries of my Friends were ceased by the slamming of the door. Desperate I continued to stare behind me at the door, trying to plant my feet to the ground. However my attempt was a vain one because a simple tug at my rope got me moving again. Quickly looking around I was taken over by both Fear and Astonishment. The room I stood in was dark as night but an unusually large device stood in the center. I was quickly taken out of my thoughts as suddenly two large hands had been placed on my shoulders and with ease forced me down into a chair.

"At last my moment of Triumph BEGINS!" Bowser laughed as both the Hammer Bro and Boomerang Bro tied my rope to the chair I was sitting in. Kamek cackled as well.

"Shall we proceed your Gnarliness?" he asked giving me a cruel smile.

"OF COURSE!" Bowser said rather loudly looking a little irritated. Kamek nodded at the King of the Koopas and lifted his staff. I felt my body tighten as the staff began to generate a ball of light. "NEVER AGAIN shall I be THWARTED! NEVER shall I have to admit defeat to the Likes of Mario, Luigi and ESPECIALLY your GOOD FOR NOTHING FATHER!" Bowser glanced at me at his final words. My attention was again back at Kamek's staff. I winced as the glow grew larger, but was shocked to see that Kamek wasn't pointing at me…he suddenly pointed his staff at the device just overhead and shot the glowing energy into the device. The device grew bright as the power ran through it. I could only stare at it when suddenly Pain beyond ANYTHING I had ever felt pulsed through my body. I became shocked as the pain felt strangely familiar, the excruciating pain….like the pain I had felt in my nightmare. I screamed and writhed in agony as my chest ached heavily. I suddenly began weeping as my body could no longer sustain such effort. I could hear Bowser and Kamek's laughing but could only continue to weep as suddenly I felt as if my heart was being squeezed. I squeezed my eyes shut, tears rolled down my cheeks. Within seconds it felt as if something was being pulled outta me. And with it a tiny voice in my head crying.

"Don't let them take me!"

With one quick tug I felt a sudden deep sense of aloneness and hopelessness. I slowly opened my eyes to see a bright yellow light in front of me, almost star-like. My heart ached for it as it slowly inched farther away from me. And with that Bowser and Kamek laughed insanely. As I stared at the glow, longing filled my heart but seeing the glow suddenly vanish, all will was wipe from my mind. I had no reason for being…I was now useless….an empty shell. Silence ran through my mind, as I suddenly felt two pairs of hands lift me up to my feet. I made no attempt to stop them as they led me towards the exit door, nor did I glance or make a sound as I walked past my 3 terrified Friends…With my head down, my eyes glossed over, emotionless, loss of will. I without a fight allowed my captors to lead me back into my cell….only stared as my ankle was shackled once again to the wall….and only stared as the iron door was slammed, once again condemned….

"I am Useless…..

Lost my Essence of Being…

I am….

…..an EMPTY Shell"

WHEW ...sorry if that chapter only confused you all more ^^; What exactly happened to Shelly? Well hopefully it will all be answered later. As mentioned above Chapter 21 may not come out for 2 weeks...but as I said that may change depending on how busy I am...and if I manage to get more stuff written. So until then HAVE A GREAT WEEK EVERYONE! ^.^
