CHAPTER 24! It's great to be back ^.^ nothing much needs to be said :) ENJOY THE CHAPTER EVERYONE :D

"Well I got here as fast as I could Youngsters" E Gadd replied as he entered the Throne room where Mario and the others waited.

"I'm sorry we called you all the way down here Professor" Mario apologized, E Gadd simply shook his head.

"It's nothing, Sonny" E Gadd replied. Mario and the others smiled. "Now what exactly can I do for you?" he asked, looking at the 6 people that stood before him.

"We need you to transport us to Star Temple Professor" Mario replied giving a glance at his 5 Friends. The Professor stared at the group of 6.

"All 6 of you?" Professor asked. All 6 nodded quickly.

"Yes, we need to speak to the Star Gate" Mario answered. The Professor stared at the group confused for a second.

"It's been quite a while since You, Luigi and Yoshi were there last….y'all need to go there?"

"Yes, we REALLY need to speak to the Star Gate" this time it was Birdo who had spoken, her eyes seemed to be watering. Yoshi glanced at Birdo and grabbed her hand. The Professor stared at her for a moment then nodded.

"Alright, I can send you all" the Professor replied, all 6 of the Friends smiled. "Meet me at my Lab in an hour and I'll have everything ready" Mario in fact everyone nodded.

"Thank You Professor" Peach thanked, the Professor nodded and without another word left the room.

In only 55 minutes time Mario and the others arrived at E Gadd's lab. E Gadd took several minutes to prepare his Teleport Panel. Finally the Teleport Panel was ready, E Gadd turned to the 6 Friends.

"Okay Youngsters the Teleport panel is ready, are you all ready?" Mario and the others turned to each other, they turned back to E Gadd and nodded. "Okay, well you all just step onto the panel here and we'll get this Adventure Started" E Gadd pointed at a large glowing panel on the floor. Mario and the others stepped onto the panel. "When you all are finished at Star Temple just return back to the panel it should automatically send you all back here to the lab" All 6 Friends nodded.

"Got it Professor, Thank you" Mario answered, as the panel's light suddenly grew brighter.

"Good luck, Youngsters" E Gadd replied as suddenly the 6 Friends disappeared in a flash of light.

The 6 Friends were shocked as they suddenly found themselves standing before a glimmering blue trail covered in glowing blue stars. Mario, Luigi and Yoshi recognized this place immediately so they weren't as astonished by the sight as their wives were.

"Star hill" Mario said aloud as everyone else looked around at the marvelous sight before them. "We just need to fallow this path until we reach Star shrine" Luigi nodded in agreement.

"That's where we should find Star Gate" The 6 Friends looked ahead to see a large building in the distance. Mario, Luigi and Yoshi leading the way the 6 Friends made their way up the path. The path itself wasn't long however a few enemies wandered the path, forcing Mario and the others to defeat them thus slowing their progress a bit. Finally the 6 Friends were standing in front of a huge temple.

"So this is Star Shrine?" Birdo asked out loud. Yoshi nodded in response.

"Yep, we basically take a straight path and that'll lead us to Star Gate."

"You 3 remember the layout of this place after over 10 years?" Daisy asked clearly impressed by the boys' memory. All 3 males nodded.

"After the events we went through coming here, it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to forget the layout of this place" Luigi responded, looking somewhat unnerved at reliving the memories of his and Mario's first visit to Star Shrine.

"Alright lets get a move on" Mario's voice suddenly came into view, as the 6 Friends continued on their way. As they began walking Yoshi couldn't help but look at the walls. Everywhere he looked there were pictures engraved on the walls. One in particular caught Yoshi's attention. The picture seemed to be of 6 large golden stars that formed the shape of a circle, while in the center of them where 4 smaller stars, one of which seemed to lack the glowing radiance of the other 3. Yoshi couldn't help but feel something wasn't right with that 4th small star. Staring more closely at the engravings he could see that 4 of the larger stars seemed to have a radiance glowing off of them, 3 of them brighter than the 4th, however at the corner of his eye Yoshi caught a glance of what seemed to be a 7th large star however this one was not in the other 6 stars' formation not only that but it seemed to be surrounded by a dark mist. Yoshi couldn't help but gulp as he stared at the 7th star and he felt a cold feeling run down his spine. Yoshi was suddenly driven out of his thoughts by Birdo's arm as she suddenly locked his arm with hers. Causing him to move a bit closer to her, as he looked back he could no longer see the engravings on the wall and simply gave his attention back to the path the group was walking on. However Yoshi couldn't help but feel a sense of importance of the engraving, as if he'd somehow seen or heard about it before. Not to the groups' surprise the Star Shrine's layout hadn't changed since the last time Mario, Luigi and Yoshi had come. So it wasn't long before the group stopped at a large door.

"Alright this is it guys" Yoshi suddenly replied, jumping startled as his voice echoed throughout the room. Yoshi felt Birdo take a hold of his arm. "This is where we meet Star Gate" he replied turning to her.

"Lets-a-go guys" Mario's voice sounded as he and Luigi pushed the doors open. The group of 6 stood in place in awe of the presence that was before them, the Godly and Almighty Star Gate.
