30. One More Year

TO NON-COMIC READERS I DID NOT MAKE UP THE ONE ABOVE ALL! He is Marvels strongest CANNON character. Yes even stronger than Nemesis.

A reviewer just made me realize this but did anyone else notice that i accidentally made Chrissy Chen's Alpha a Marvel version of Buttercup from the power puff girls? Shit I can't unsee it now.

Also it's time this story got a new summary…but I can't figure one out. Post your own summary for this story, I want to see how creative you all can get hell I might even use one!

Disclaimer: Alright, let's get this crap started! Once again I don't own anything but my own plot.

Honestly I had this chapter finished earlier but the 16th was my 18th birthday and, well let's just say I've been partying for three fucking days and then recovering, damn…I don't even remember wtf happened Sunday but anyway that's what happened.

Before we start, I'm going to try something new to celebrate the third and final season. For some chapters from now on I may open them up with the biggest "WTF" Fun facts that never would have been explained in the story. They are just so damn insane that I just had to inform some of you.

WTF Fun Fact 1: Spider-Man potty trained the Beyonder. The Beyonder is the omnipotent guy who came from outside the Marvel multiverse itself. He's pretty broken and is fond of Peter's work ethic.

WTF Fun Fact 2: The hero Blackbolt actually has a legit canon harem. No bullshit he has five wives due to political reasons. Honestly I feel kind of bad for him since some of them…well let's say I'd have to be drunk, blind, and had lost my sense of touch before a I hit it and I'm not even shallow. Names are: Medusa, Avoe, Aladi Ko Eke, Onomi Whitemane, and Oola Udonta.

WTF Fun Fact 3: In Earth 1078: Scientists wanted to make a perfect "Black Widow" so they cloned Natasha and created Galina Tsarfin but she didn't meet their expectations so they used Spider-Man's DNA to impregnate the clone…Ready for the fucked up part? The genes were too strong and just like a spider she gave birth to 123 children…I shit you not, look it up There's a picture of her with all 123 of her sons and daughters…even she looks like she can't believe the bullshit. She killed the scientists though so that's a plus.

Here's a fact for the story itself. It's mainly told by Spider-Man's perspective making it a hilarious story that has its sad moments, BUT if you imagine the story from Talon's perspective it's been one dark tale with a few humorous moments, and if you imagine it from Chun-Li's point of view it's a survival story.

Chapter 28: One More Year

-New York City-

It had been a year since New York had been destroyed, but thanks to the efforts of our heroes it was once again bustling with life. Every building had not only been repaired but they were also improved! The city was filled with black metallic sky scrapers that had crimson lights. The city had undergone a scientific revolution that quickly spread out not only through the country but the world as a whole. The cause of this change came from the largest building of them all. A piece of industrial art that watched over the fair city. The building had a large crimson 'cog' like shape burning on its front side and inside the cog was a crimson 'A'.

This was the headquarters of Alchemax, the world's leader in clean burning and unlimited energy. From under the pain and despair of New York, a man rose up and revolutionized not just the city but man-kind. For the first time in years, mankind once again had hope and Alchemax had become synonymous with the very ideal of hope. On the north side of the city a man gazed up at the building with pride as he stood on the balcony of his of his apartment.

This man was Peter Benjamin Parker, known by many as the CEO of Alchemax. He was a man that came out of nowhere and gave humanity something to strive for. People have jokingly called him the CEO of humanity. His influence had quite possibly made him the most feared, loved, respected, and wealthiest man in the world. Suddenly a platinum blonde walked up behind him and embraced him from the back.

"Come back to bed…" Felicia mumbled making him roll his eyes good naturedly as he turned around and held her in his arms.

"You know there is a robbery taking place right now, right?" Peter said as he kissed her before pulling away.

"Let someone else get them, today is your day off." Felicia said making Peter think for a moment before nodding his head.

This was also a new development; between Alpha, Spider-Woman, and Spider-Girl Peter had found himself with a lot of free time. It was almost as if the three young heroes went out their way to beat him to a crime scene.

"I swear they are going to make me switch cities soon." Peter joked getting a short laugh from the woman.

"Aww, don't be like that. No matter how many heroes there are, New York will always need Spider-Man."

-With Spider-Girl-

"Really? Tonight was a quiet night and you just had to ruin it?" May questioned as she quickly webbed the mugger up.

"Damn it, you beat me." Andy muttered as he flew in to the scene. He then raised an eyebrow as he looked at her and whistled. "Nice new suit."

"Thanks, Electro totaled my old costume two days ago." May said with a shrug. She was now wearing a new red and black version of Peter's old costume that was obviously tailored for women. (LIAG Helpful Info: Look up Ashley Barton from the old man Logan series to see the costume.)

"Let me go Spider-Bitch!" The mugger shouted before being kicked in his stomach by Spider-Girl.

"Hey! Didn't your mom ever teach you not to irritate a woman that can kick your ass?" Spider-Girl questioned rhetorically. "Though I have to admit, Spider-Bitch does have a ring to it." (LIAG Fun Fact: Spider-Bitch was the alias Ashley Barton-the granddaughter of Spider-Man in an alternate universe went by. She was much more brutal than Peter, and decapitated Kingpin with a shot-gun handle.)

"Use it if you ever go anti-hero or villain." Andy suggested as he levitated off of the ground.

"By the way, what took you so long? I half-expected you to beat me here again." Spider-Girl questioned as she picked the mugger up and webbed him to a street light. Spider-Girl nodded at her handiwork before swinging off with Andy following her.

"I was dealing with some crime lords in China." Alpha explained.

"They weren't working for Kiden were they?" The red-head questioned in concern.

"Nah, they were a rogue syndicate." Alpha said before they both landed on top of a building and gazed at a large screen that had a large picture of Talon. "Wanted: Laura Kinney AKA Talon, International fugitive, bounty is five hundred million and it's expected to rise soon" Alpha read before clenching his fists. "It's not fair; they try to make her out as a villain when all she's doing is helping out."

"She's been spending the better part of the last year eradicating murderers, rapists, and Super villains that have either killed heroes or the innocent." Spider-Girl began. "She's what the villains fear, a powerful hero that actively hunts them down. Unlike Punisher she's not human she has far more power at her disposal. If she hadn't quit the Avengers she wouldn't have a bounty. It doesn't matter though no one ever stands in her way, the police respect her and there has never truly been an active search for her. If anything this whole fugitive thing is just a formality."

"Yeah you're right." Alpha sighed before chuckling. "I remember when I was last in LA; I started a rumor that she was in town." Alpha revealed before chuckling.

"Oh?" Spider-Girl questioned curiously.

"Yeah, all of the criminal activity shut down for a solid week." Alpha snickered. "They fear her, because she doesn't toy with them or give them some kind of heroic speech of why they should be better; she just removes them and moves on."

"I've gotta try spreading that rumor sometime, I could use a vacation." Spider-Girl quipped making him laugh.

"Same here, I can use that time to train my powers some more."

"Train? You're already over powered as hell. Besides the crime rate has never been lower and it doesn't look like it'll rise anytime soon." Spider-Girl stated before shrugging. "I mean what's the worst that could happen?" Spider-Girl asked before slamming her hands over her mouth in horror.

*FLASH*

["Hello citizens of the world! Did you miss me!?"] Rebuff shouted as her face replaced Talon's wanted poster. Alpha and Spider-Girl both gaped at the sight of the announcer. [I'll make this short, but now that New York is as prosperous as ever, it's time to get this show back on the road!]

It wasn't long before Spider-Girl got an alert and quickly pressed her finger to her ear.

["You are so unbelievably grounded!"] Peter shouted making her flinch.

"Oops?" May said sheepishly as Alpha face-palmed. Sometimes it sucked having a father that could see your every action. "Please don't tell mom-"

["The hell I won't!"] Peter said before hanging up. She sighed a moment later when she got an alert and shakily pressed her finger to her ear.

"H…Hello?"

["You have two days to get back to Emora."] MJ stated simply sending a chill down her spine. ["There is no telling what's going to happen, so we have to up your weapons training."] May just slumped her shoulders when the woman hung up as a depressed aura seemed to envelope her. She loved he parents dearly, but not even her Spider-sense could save her from MJ, whose idea of 'training' was going all out in a series of battles until she said stop.

It didn't help that her mom had an inner love for fighting no matter how hard she tried to hide it.

"You're so screwed." Alpha chuckled.

"Shut up." May groaned. "I mean what the hell? It's not like I want to join this insane tournament or anything, I am perfectly content just stopping muggers. I don't get off on Armageddons like all you other super-heroes." May said dryly causing her friend to roll his eyes. It was then that a flash of white light alerted them and they turned around just in time to see someone appear from thin air and fall on their ass.

"[Oww…that hurt, what the hell happened?]" The young woman questioned as she looked at her surroundings in shock. She was a teenager around their age with short brown hair, brown eyes, and she was wearing what looked like a Japanese school girl outfit along with a white bandana. ["Ah! Where the hell am I!?]" The teen shouted as she flipped to her feet.

"…Is that fucking Sakura from Street Fighter?" Alpha just had to ask. Spider-Girl was silent for a second before a smirk graced her lips as she looked from the confused Japanese girl to Alpha. Seeing her look, Andy paled. "No, no, oh hell no."

"Oh hell yes." May corrected. "Welcome to New York, you and I are going to get along just fine. How about you join our team and help us fight." May said to the still confused as hell Sakura.

"Wait what? What tournament? And why should I join you?" Sakura questioned as she was inwardly glad that she paid attention in English class.

"We can take you to Ryu." May piped up. (LIAG Fun fact: Sakura is the world's first and greatest Ryu fan-girl ever.)

And just like that Young Justice was formed, the first team since the tournament restarted.

-Later Shield Base-

"Director Fury, you want to try to bring them back together!? That's insane!" Maria exclaimed as Nick Fury Jr. turned back to her.

"The damn tournament is back and they are the only hero team that has made it passed tier five."

"Hero!?" Maria repeated. "One of them has slaughtered countless humans, another has disappeared off the face of the earth, and their leader hasn't worked with other heroes for over a year!"

"They are our biggest chance." Nick said firmly. "They have no doubt been getting stronger since they split. Whether it was skill, luck, or synergy that got them as far as they did, I have no idea-but whatever it is we need it now. Send out search parties for Talon and Chun-Li, if you find them do not engage I'll talk to them. Also Spider-Man has worked with other heroes, he just hasn't joined any teams."

-Genosha-

(LIAG Helpful Info: Genosha is an island nation off the coast of Africa in the Marvel Universe. Once known for the enslavement of mutants, Genosha was ruled by Magneto before being destroyed by Cassandra Nova.)

BGM: The Asylum- Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines

New York was not the only location that got a major upgrade, the once large graveyard known as Genosha was now flourishing with life…though 'life' was a term used lightly when referring to its new inhabitants. Yes after a year, the Island of Genosha had become the new homeland for Vampire-kind. Every vampire-sect had found their own place within the new homeland from the Siren Sect to the Purebloods. Every building had a dark gothic theme to it, and in the center of the Island was a large castle that overlooked the island. In this castle lived the leaders of each sect, but most importantly it was the home of the one that united them as a race. The one woman who had both the respect of the vampires and the complete and utter fear of mankind.

Jubilation Lee, The Vampire Queen.

Rumor quickly spread about the one who drunk the blood of Dracula and that she was seeking to unite the Vampires. This of course was a goal that was not easily achieved. Vampires were cunning, proud, and most of all stubborn. To get the leaders to fall in line, Jubilee had to appeal to all their needs without compromise and the use of under-handed tactics was not a rare occasion. Many of her 'I'll nevers' completely went up in flames but eventually even throughout all of the pain and heart–ache, she succeeded.

-Genosha: Castle: Council Chambers-

"Mistress, we have gone through countless applicants." Alyssa muttered with a sigh. "The people want a symbol of love; as long as you remain single the world as a whole will continue to view you as a dictator rather than a Queen." (LIAG Helpful Info: Alyssa is the leader of the Siren Sect)

"I've given them a place to live that has eternal night and a fountain that will flow with blood for eternity. I have given some of them their humanity back, and you tell me that they still want more?" Jubilee questioned. "The sacrifices I've made for them are staggering and you want me to give up one of the few remaining things I have left?" Jubilee questioned making the woman and the other sect leaders flinch, they knew it was unfair, hell they didn't agree either. Lilith and Blade frowned further as they stood on both sides of her throne. She had placed the island inside its own dimension that was still accessible by the outside world. In this dimension It was always night, it was tricky to pull off at first but with MJ's power gem back her she succeeded.

"Mistress…"

"We won't need another purge will we?" Jubilee questioned as her gem reappeared on her forehead making them shrink back.

Ah yes the purge; the event where all of the traitors and most of the previous sect leaders that tried to usurp her power attempted to destroy Jubilee in the hopes of preventing another Dracula. The vampires thought that Dracula was the pinnacle of Vampirism and thought they knew what to expect when fighting Jubilee.

They were so very wrong.

"N-No, that's not necessary." Alyssa stuttered out in fear. It was the first time Jubilee had ever entered her true form…and it was unholy. In return for following her, Jubilee had promised she would try her best to never use that form again. Negotiations were harsh, but in return for a stable vampire government, Jubilee agreed to starve herself to keep herself from transforming. This made her out to be a martyr for the citizens.

"Or maybe we have another tournament." Jubilee added making them flinch even more. That was another high level punishment in Genosha where prisoners of war were locked up in a small chamber with Lilith. Lilith was easily the second strongest and most feared vampire in the country with being able to lift over one thousand tons. Lilith's eyes seemed to glint at the suggestion the last tournament was fun; it was also when the Vampires realized that while Jubes was kind she was not one to be fucked with.

*Sigh*

Jubilee shook her head as she stood up and softened her gaze. She really hated threatening them but if it was for Laura she would gladly do whatever needed to be done…even if it meant turning back into that…monster. Lilith thought that she may have accidentally consumed some of Mephisto's blood while Blade guessed that Talon's blood that was rapidly mutating her vampirism may have sent her to a completely higher state than even Dracula had achieved. Neither knew what triggered her horrible transformation, but both gladly stood by her…though Blade was considerably much more cautious now.

"Listen, I know you all mean well. Especially you Alyssa you are the only original sect leader left in this room, but I am engaged." Jubilee said as she showed them her ring. "When my mate returns to me then we can act like that lovey-dovey couple you want the world to see to prove that we're not monsters, but until then we'll just have to deal with them thinking I'm an evil dictator." Alyssa released a sigh and nodded.

"Yes Mistress." Jubilee was going to say something else when a new no-named vampire rushed in to the area holding a letter.

"Your highness, I have another letter for you!" Jubilee frowned and accepted it. Jubilee sat back down in her throne and opened it up. The vampires watched in awe as her cold expression softened considerably making her look her age for once. This was a phenomenon to the council as she had looked as though she were on the verge of tears while a small smile graced her lips.

[Dear Jubilee

If you are reading this then know that I have finished my journey and should be returning to you shortly. Honestly I have been so caught up in what I have been doing for the last year to even know what has happened in the world. I even saw a few people riding around in flying cars…I was only gone for one year right? Imagine my surprise when I found you on the front page of a Newspaper last week.]

-Flashback-

"Mistress?" Magik called out from inside their temporary apartment as Talon looked at the blueprints of one of the Purifier headquarters. Talon raised an eye-brow at her when she saw that she had a newspaper.

"Yes?" The feral asked as she took a sip of her coffee.

"You might want to have a look at this." Illyana muttered as she sat it down. Talon shrugged and looked at the headline. And for once in her life she found herself doing a spit-take.

["Atlantis No More?: Wakandian Queen Shuri, Emoran High Empress Mary Jane Watson, and Jubilation Lee, Genosha's Vampire Queen, unite to destroy the underwater kingdom. In exchange for an alliance with the world's leading providers of stealth technology and Vibranium, the Vampire legion has agreed to help Wakanda exact revenge for Atlantian Ruler Namor's involvement in its destruction during the conflict between the X-Men and Avengers.

There was a staggering lack of actual deaths but the rulers say that this was to exact revenge on Namor, not Atlantis. With the kingdom is in shambles and Namor missing, it is up to the new ruler of Atlantis, Namora-Namor's cousin-to pick up the pieces. The three countries have agreed to help her rebuild Atlantis to show that there was infact no ill intent towards the underwater kingdom.]

"What the hell is going on?" Talon muttered in confusion.

-Flashback: End-

Jubilee felt slightly embarrassed at that. She didn't really want to attack the unsuspecting Kingdom, but it was politics and the Vibranium and stealth tech would be perfect for her people since their main market was mercenary work. They were supernatural super soldiers and made a lot of profit for black ops missions. There were rules though. No Vampire could hurt another vampire that was part of their nation and once they left Genosha they only had a week of immunity to sunlight, this was so her citizens could actually go on vacation while at the same time be kept in check. Shaking her head she continued reading.

[…As you probably know I've been eradicating some of the evil of this world, I know that I can't remove everyone by myself but I will at least remove the purifiers like I did with the remainder of the Weapon X program. By the time you've gotten this letter I would have attacked their last remaining base…}

-Flashback-

"Scum." Magik muttered with a scowl as she approached Talon.

"I told them…if they didn't leave me the hell alone, I'd kill them all." Talon said as she looked at the burning remains of the purifier headquarters while Magik kneeled next to her as wolves at the burning corpses that surrounded them. "Illyana…just how black has my soul become?

"Pitch." Magik answered simply before gazing up at her. "But it's so beautiful. You're a hero just instead of making the world better; you make sure it doesn't become worse. You remove the limb to save the body. You may be seen as evil by some…but you're seen as greater by most."

"I'm a monster."

"And I wouldn't have it any other way." Magik smiled making Talon smirk before they were wrapped in darkness.

-Flashback: End-

[…Then I'll be on the first plane to Genosha. You will see me soon.

"Oh…shit. What the hell did you do Logan!?" Jubilee thought as she shook her head. Before turning to Alyssa. "Looks like my mate is returning sooner than I thought, now call off the damn suitors!" Jubilee said making the sect leader nod with a smile.

BGM: END

-Meanwhile: With Talon-

"This might take longer than I thought." Talon thought with an eye twitch as she stood in nothing but her underwear in the middle of an airport as she was strip searched for any concealed weapons. She should have known that she would set off the metal detectors and she could feel Illyana staring at her as if to say 'I told you so.'

"I told you I should have just teleported us there, but no, you thought that Erista should have his first airport experience." Magik muttered as she held a toddler that was looking at the feral with wide-eyes as he ate an ice-cream cone. He had tan skin, short black hair, and blue eyes.

"Shut up." Laura growled out, though she was more surprised that none of the people searching her recognized who she was…

…especially since she had a wanted poster not even ten feet away from them.

"We'll have to do a cavity search." One of them men said making her eyes widen in shock while Magik burst out laughing. The blonde was her loyal servant, she really was…but that didn't mean she didn't take every opportunity she had to laugh at the feral's expense.

*SNICKT!*

"The hell you are!" Talon roared making them leap back in surprise.

"Oh shit its Talon!" Another guard screamed as he pulled out his gun.

"Don't worry Erista; I'll take you to an airport one day." Magik promised as the little boy finished his treat.

"Oh God someone help! *SHING*" The guard paled as his gun was cut through effortlessly.

-Meanwhile: Hell: Capital City: Monkey King's dojo-

Chun-Li dodged to the side as a crimson humanoid demon with four eyes and blood red-skin breathed fire at her. The demon's arm extended towards her like a bullet, but it was easily ducked. Standing up, Chun-Li grabbed its arm and with a mighty heave, yanked it towards her.

"[Get over here!]" Chun-Li shouted in Chinese before burying her fist into his face. The demon howled in pain as it stumbled back, obviously dazed.

"[Finish him.]" Wukong demanded making her nod. Chun-Li spun the demon around and grabbed both of his arms in each of her hands while placing her right foot in the middle of his back. With a glare she pulled back roughly.

*CRUNCH!*

The demon howled in pain as both of its arms were ripped off as he crashed down into the ground, but Chun-Li wasn't done yet. Tossing both of the limbs to the side she stalked forward and rammed her right hand through his back effortlessly and clenched her hand around his spine. Lifting him above her head, she pumped chi into her fist.

"CHOU-KIKOSHO!" Chun-Li roared before the demon suddenly blew apart as a large orb of chi ripped it apart from the inside, showering the room in blood. Chun-Li stood covered in burning blood that did not belong to her. Her combat outfit was nothing but rags at this point. She gazed at the Monkey King firmly making him grin.

"[There is nothing more I can teach you. An unbreakable sword with an edge that shall never dull again. You truly are undefeatable.]" The man said as he tossed her some new equipment. "[Put that on and you can leave. Never lose again.]"

"[Thank you master.]" Chun-Li said with a bow before grabbing her new clothes. Like with Talon, in Hell she had no idea how much time had passed. All she knew for certain was that her training had ended.

"[Her power has grown immensely, when she first came down here she couldn't even use chi due to the oppressive nature of Hell, now she's perform such techniques of high caliber effortlessly. Once she steps back into the mortal realm, the world will know the power of the Grandmaster. She's a prodigy; she can force me to a stalemate, down here…on Earth who knows the limits of her power.]"

-Meanwhile: Deep Space-

"I'm done here, you're not half bad as a teacher but it's time for me to go." Juri drawled as Gamora stood up shakily and held her side with a nod. Juri looked the same but her outfit was tattered and she now was sporting a bloody bandage over her left eye.

"Such power from a human…her growth rate is unnatural, just what is she!?" Gamora thought with frown before walking towards a briefcase that was a few feet away from them on the desolate planet. They had been training on planets that provided a stronger gravitational pull than Earth. Once one planet got too easy to fight on they left for another. Juri caught the suit case and looked at Gamora perturbed. "Open it." Shrugging Juri did just that, and her one free eye widened at its contents. There was new combat gear, but what made her gasp was a familiar spherical object.

"My Feng-Shui engine?" Juri asked softly as she touched her bloody bandage. "I saw you destroy it with Godslayer because I became too dependent on it, making my body and chi suffer."

"I did destroy it." Gamora said truthfully. "I then sent the parts back to Spider-Man, who fixed it and made it better with stronger parts. He sent it back with a message that he said you would understand." Juri looked at her curiously while she took off her bandage. "The message was 'I'm still alive and I'm still looking out for you.'" Gamora quoted making Juri shake her head with a small smirk.

"[They really did become one.]" Juri thought as she re-attached her eye. It spun around creating a yin-yang symbol for the iris before it returned to looking like her normal eye though she still had a small scar over her eye now due to how it was cut from her. "Take me back."

-Chicago-

Chun-Li was stepped out of a portal in a Chicago park with a sigh. It had been a long time since she smelt fresh air that didn't have the scent of blood in it. She now wore a simple silver china dress that had a large Yin-Yang symbol embroidered on the back. Her black ribbons were now replaced with silver ones and her golden wristbands were replaced with what looked like her former spiked bracelets only slightly smaller and completely made out of a silver metal. She also had a pair strapped around her ankles and had forgone any footwear. She frowned suddenly when she felt a spike of chi coming from somewhere in the country and gazed in the general direction with narrowed eyes.

-California-

Juri stood in a forest and smirked when she felt Chun-Li's chi. Juri's hair was down now and she was now wearing a tight black and light purple one-piece outfit that exposed her sides. Around her hips was a light purple sash that had and embroidered yin-yang symbol on it. The one-piece was held together by eight light purple straps connecting to a silver ring on her back, making it vaguely look like a spider. She finished this with a pair of black and purple martial arts footwear. (LIAG Helpful Info: Fuck it I did my best, it's her second alternate outfit in Super Street Fighter Four. I swear some costumes just can't be described with human language alone.)

"[Anytime you're ready China-girl.]" Juri smirked as her left eye shone brightly. "[Now I just have to find my damn team. I felt their presence around here somewhere.]" No one but Deadpool knew what would happen when the two rivals finally clashed, and if he were to say anything about the fight it would be…

That it was the greatest catfight of all time.

-One hour Later: Genosha: Castle Courtyard-

Jubilee was resting on her knees in front of a pond with her eyes closed as she was bathed by the moonlight. Clenched tightly in her left hand was her katana. Over the past year, her trusty blade had saved her life countless times in battle. Slowly she grabbed the hilt of her blade with her right hand as her ruby eyes opened. She sniffed the air and a small smirk graced her lips while her eyes began to glow.

"You've really gotten better if you can get within ten feet of me without me noticing." Jubilee murmured without turning around.

"You too, I honestly wasn't expecting you to notice me." A voice answered before a small silence hung in the air. "So what now? I hope you understand why I had to leave."

"I do, Kiden explained it to me. That doesn't mean have to like it, however." Jubilee said truthfully. "I want you to show me that you didn't waste your time for the last year. Prove to me that my heartache wasn't for nothing." Jubilee said as she narrowed her gaze as she watched he mate's talons slowly slide out.

"Are you sure we have to do this?" Talon asked softly.

"I told you that I will be your equal, last time we fought you took both myself and Kiden down." Jubilee muttered. "I've been getting stronger as well; I've lost whatever humanity I had left in order to be able to stand next to you." Jubilee trailed off as she gazed up at the moon as twin trails of blood fell from her eyes and slid down her face. "Now let's do this."

For the first time in over a year two mates once again gazed at each other, and they did so in battle. Jubilee's own wavering blade met her mate's unmovable talons. Jubilee suddenly turned into her mist form, causing Talon to stumble forward as Jubilee slipped behind her. Talon wasted no time and quickly stabbed her right foot back.

*SNICKT!*

*SCHLICK!*

Jubilee hopped back and held her side as blood dripped from her cold blade. The cut wasn't deep but it wasn't healing either. Laura frowned when she found herself with an identical cut, but unlike Jubilee's hers healed nearly instantly.

"That's the first time I've bled in a year." Talon muttered as Jubilee licked her blood from the blade.

"Delicious." Jubilee stated with a small smile before narrowing her eyes. The two suddenly blurred away and parried each other's blades causing a crater to appear under them.

"What the hell is going on out here!?" Alyssa questioned as she appeared on a large stone pillar that overlooked the courtyard.

"Her mate's back." Lilith spoke up as she landed on the castle's roof with Blade. Suddenly a light alerted them and they turned to see Magik appear on the roof with Erista. Instantly, Magik spun around with her soul sword and placed it on Lilith's neck, whom had sped towards her and grabbed her by her neck.

"Who are you?" Lilith asked coldly not at all deterred by the sword

"I'm with Talon. Now let me go before I do something I definitely won't regret." Magik muttered. The two held each other's gaze before Lilith nodded and stepped back as Magik put away her blade. "I'm here to make sure your precious country doesn't end up destroyed by these two."

Talon and Jubilee glared at each other as they continued to slash at each other. Suddenly Talon back flipped away from Jubilee as her hands suddenly ignited with harsh flames before she began sending out a vicious barrage of fire blasts, all of which were expertly dodged by Jubilee. Talon then extended her arm causing a tendril of darkness to rip out towards Jubilee. The Vampire Queen turned into mist just before it made contact. Jubilee's eyes widened when she noticed Talon's eyes were filled with a harsh blue light.

"I see, she's taking it up another level. I can't lose even if…I have to turn back into that." Jubilee thought as her sclera bled black. Her gem reappeared on her forehead as a second katana appeared in her left hand. At this point it had become obvious that the fight had definitely escalated. "I can't use the gem on her directly, but it can still affect her indirectly." Jubilee thought before dashing forward, she slashed through all of the tendrils Talon sent her way.

"What is she up to?" Talon wondered as she suddenly blocked both of the blades creating a small shockwave that ripped through the ground. Talon's eyes widened as they were suddenly surrounded by dozens of crimson sparking orbs.

"Scarlet surge." The orbs all suddenly slammed into both women.

*KRACKA-BOOOOOM!*

A red explosion covered the courtyard as the red energy blasted high into the sky. Lilith's eyes narrowed at the attack.

"This is why Jubilee is so feared. During the battles with the rogue sects, her mental block on her mutant powers was completely removed. Her control over the explosions is terrifying, she can release an explosion equal to that of a nuclear war-head and have it only damage one person…and her explosions don't even hurt her anymore." Lilith thought as the light died down. "For one of her explosions to actually cover the courtyard at this point means that she used an immense amount of power behind that last attack…but why? Is Talon really that strong?"

Lilith would soon find out why Talon was called unbreakable.

Jubilee flew up from the smoke with her pitch black bat wings. She was completely unscathed and gazed down at the smoke. With a wave of her hand a mighty gust of wind blew the smoke away.

"That was enough force to put even Logan down for a week…but of course…it didn't even faze her." Jubilee thought as she saw that Talon was still standing, though now she was once again in her goddess form. Light blue cracks appeared on her pitch black foot as her bright blue Muramasa blade popped out. With a powerful skyward kick, a light blue crescent shaped blast of energy fired off at Jubilee who barely dodged in time.

"Let's just stop this now, Jubilee you've gotten strong, I understand that….please I don't want to hurt you." Talon said as her gaze seemed to have softened. "I've fallen much too far into the darkness for you to stop me, now that I think about it…you're probably better off without me, you should leave me while you still have some sort of light in you."

"Bullshit. I am done with your attitude Laura; quit being so damn selfish and let those who care about you in." Jubilee seemed to growl out. "You have no idea how much I've given up to be with you. If you really think I'm better off without you, then why did you even bother showing up!?"

"…"

"Say it Laura!"

"Because I love you." Talon answered truthfully making her smile softly.

"And I love you. It's a love that I believe is worth fighting for…but Laura I can't be the only one doing the fighting." Jubilee said firmly. "You say I still have some light in me? I'll gladly get rid of that to be with you." Suddenly Jubilee wrapped herself in her wings and closed her eyes. She then simply felly back and dove into the pond. After bit the Water was slowly replaced by blood.

BGM: END

"She's doing it again." Lilith muttered to Blade and Alyssa making them nod and shiver respectively.

"Doing what?" Magik questioned in confusion.

"You need to understand before Jubilee Dracula was the pinnacle of Vampirism. We all thought that he was the final level and thought that Jubilee's powers would finally stop after she killed him and took his place…but we were wrong." Lilith muttered. "She kept evolving; Talon's blood mixed with her X-gene and had taken her to an entirely new level of Vampire. She is afraid, hell I am afraid of what she's become."

"She even became able to feed from vampires without turning them human. The venom in their veins became nothing but a minor nuisance and only served to make her stronger." Blade continued as he clenched his fists.

"You can't blame yourself for what she's become Blade." Lilith said softly. "She was badly injured and needed blood; you can't blame your rule on no human drinking for making her turn to rogue vampires for prey. She wouldn't have drunken mortal blood anyway." Lilith stated before sighing as she noticed Alyssa still shuddering. "You need to relax, she's still our Queen."

"I understand…but I just wished that I never had to see that form again. Once was enough." Alyssa stated as the screams of the former leaders of the other sects rang throughout her mind. She flinched as a blood red hand sprung out from the pool of blood.

"Well to finish, she starves herself in order to keep herself weak, too weak to ever accidently turn back into that monster." Lilith said as a second hand joined the first one. "It's been months since she's drunk any blood…for her to turn the water in the pond into blood and then drink from it…she must really love that woman."

"Poetic." Magik muttered. "Two lovers one fears to love the other again due to her believing she's a monster and the other willingly becomes a monster in order to regain their former love. As loyal as I am to my mistress, I kind of want to see your queen win this one."

"What?" Talon muttered as Jubilee stepped out of the pool. She looked mostly the same, but her body seemed to have filled out a bit more and her skin was blood red. Her claws turned black and he has two small back horns protruding from her forehead, finally her two now red wings were slightly bigger. The oddest thing was that the body seemed to give off a feeling of complete dread and lust.

"I hate this form, I hate it so much…but like I said, you have no idea how much I've given up for you…but if it's you, then I'll give up everything." Jubilee swore before blasting forward and grabbing Talon by her face. The feral growled as blue cracks began to appear on her face before she four black spikes erupted from her body towards Jubilee, making the Vampire turn into a blood red mist. Talon used that moment to jump away before blitzing forward as Jubilee materialized. On the outside, Talon was calm and collected but on the inside she was a storm of emotions.

"I remember when she was afraid to even drink blood." Talon thought as they viciously attacked each other as an image of her and Jubilee in Paris flashed through her mind. "She's become this thing just for me?" Talon was floored by the very thought.

BGM: Paradise Lost- Hollywood Undead

"Enough it ends now." Jubilee said as she flew back with the moon shining behind her, raising her hands a crimson orb of pyrokinetic energy, easily five times bigger than herself appeared before it suddenly condensed in size. With a frown she clenched the orb tightly in her hand. Talons glowing blue eyes narrowed at the sight.

-Flashback-

"Tell me do you understand just what that roar of yours is?" Ameterasu questioned as she sat with a meditating Talon on a mountain. "It's what signifies you as alpha, with your voice alone you make everyone submit to your will. For all intents and purposes it is your very being itself that you send crashing into your foes. This is why you need to be at peace with yourself for it to truly work to its maximum strength."

"So what are you saying?" Talon asked with closed eyes.

"You have a million souls inside you now, find harmony between them all. Make your body a worthy vessel for their final resting place. Once they are at peace, then you will know your true power my cub."

-Flashback: End-

"Find peace." Talon muttered before talking a calming breath and closing her eyes, making Magik's eyes widen in shock.

"Shit! I have to get them away from here." The blond muttered as Talons eyes snapped open. The fereal took a deep breath just as Jubilee fired off the attack and Magik barely moved her hands towards them in time.

*FLASH*

Jubilee and Talon didn't even realize it when they were suddenly teleported over the ocean near the island.

"Talon, Breaker!" Jubilee roared as she released the orb.

"GRAHHHHHHHH." Came the unearthly roared that was filled with the screams of a million lost souls. The sound wave crashed into the orb causing it to detonate.

*FA-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!*

Both Talon and Jubilee were blinded by the harsh light and the last thing they saw were each other's eyes.

Jubilee looked around to find herself standing in a plane of white, once again back in her normal form. She widened her eyes when she turned around and saw that half of the plane was covered in darkness, and inside the darkness, Talon sat with her knees to her chest. Jubilee wasted no time and quickly ran towards her mate.

"Laura? Come here." Jubilee called out as she extended a hand into the darkness making Talon shake her head sadly.

"I can't, I'm not like you, I'm too far gone." Laura said tiredly making the Vampire-Queen frown before releasing a long breath. Jubilee stepped into the darkness and helped the feral up. Jubilee held her hand and began to walk even further in to the darkness. "Stop! You can still go back; it's not too late for you."

"I don't care." Jubilee said simply without looking back as they continued to walk into the void. "If this is where you are, if this is your home-then it's mine too." And with that simple statement, Talon found the strength to smile as she noticed the faint light around the vampire. No matter how far she fell into the darkness of her own heart, Jubilee would always be her light.

-Later-

Jubilee opened her eyes with a groan as she found herself sitting up in her bedroom.

"Damn, what happened?" Jubilee groaned as she looked up to see Talon and Magik sitting by her bed. Feeling something move next to her, she raised an eyebrow to find Erista sprawled out on his back snoring lightly.

"Glad to see you're up." Talon smirked making the Vampire sigh.

"Let me guess; I lost didn't I?" Jubilee questioned tiredly making both mutants glance at each other.

"Actually you managed to tie, mistress just heals faster." Magik shrugged making the vampire's shoulders sag in relief.

-Flashback: Coast of Genosha-

Using her teleportation, Magik managed to get to the beach far faster than any of the other vampires. She frowned when she saw Talon in her goddess form walk onto shore with Jubilee in her arms, unconscious. The darkness shattered like glass when Talon made it to her.

"Knock me out." Talon said firmly making Magik look at her in confusion. "Jubilee has gotten so strong, and given up so much to remain my equal. Under no circumstances shall she ever find out that she lost. Now do it quickly, the vampires and getting closer." Unable to disobey a direct order, Magik pulled out her soul sword and struck her mistress down. She just managed to put it away before Lilith landed at the scene.

-Flashback: Over-

"Well how about that." Jubilee said with a smile. "So have you found what you were looking for…are you coming back to the public now?" Jubilee questioned making the feral nod.

"For the most part, though I doubt I can really leave this country with so many bounties on my head. Thanks for not having me hunted down by the way." Talon added making Jubilee smirk.

"Any international laws you've broken don't really concern Genosha, in fact you've been helping us out by eradicating the Purifiers. Now we just need to deal with the Friends of Humanity." Jubilee added. "Don't worry I think we can figure out something to get you back in to New York to see Webs and Kiden again, I've been contacted by Director Fury on how to get you a full pardon, both of you." Now this got their attention.

"What do we have to do? Mercenary work? And why would Fury of all people want to help me?" Talon asked with a frown.

"Nothing like that and this is the old Fury's son. Pretty cool guy, he's really revolutionized how SHIELD handles their business now. When shit hits the fan they seem more efficient than before when they were nothing but cannon fodder in whatever Armageddon was going on." Jubilee shrugged. "They want you to agree to reform Team Amazing for the tournament. They figured you would contact me first, seeing as you can't really move around freely in the US."

"I wouldn't mind, but how do Peter and Chun-Li feel about it?" Talon inquired making Jubilee shrug.

"I don't know you're the only one of the team that I have had contact with in over a year. As far as I know Chun-Li is still missing and Peter…well…" Jubilee trailed off making Talon raise an eyebrow.

"Yes?"

"Okay you really don't know, let's say he's been busy it's been hard for anyone to get in contact with him, and seeing as I had an entire species to bring together I didn't exactly have any time to stop in and say hi."

"Busy? I can imagine last I heard from him he said he was going to fix New York before our team split. I can only imagine how much work he has to do. Knowing him he probably hates his life right now." Talon said as she shook her head,

"Oh…I wouldn't be so sure…"

-New York-

"Sunday's coming to an end…" Peter thought with a mental sigh before a small smirk graced his lips. "Time to start the week."

Monday

BGM: I'm Lovin' it- Justin Timberlake

Peter finished putting on his suit as he walked into his Kitchen where he saw Felicia getting a baby bag ready.

"I'm about to leave." Peter called out as he grabbed a piece of toast of the table.

"Alright, have a good day. I'll be taking Ben to May's then I'm off to court…still can't believe I'm being called in as a witness." Felicia muttered making him laugh before he gave her a kiss. As soon as the kiss ended his phone rang, Peter answered it as he walked out of the door.

["Mr. Spider-Man! Mommy wants to know what you want to do with your shares of Stark Industries."] Robyn questioned making Peter frown as he used his trusty Spider-Sense.

"Short-sell the hell out of them, and then invest the money from them into our mutual funds."

["On it!"] Robyn said happily. Peter nodded as he stepped into the back of his car.

Tuesday

-Temple of the Great Weaver-

"How's going Taran?" Peter questioned curiously as he passed the bowing priestesses. "I thought I told you to get them to stop bowing."

"Yes, but they choose to. It's out of my control." Taran said with a smile before sighing tiredly.

"What's wrong?" Peter asked in concern.

"Your son finally learned how to crawl." Taran answered dryly making him raise an eyebrow.

"Babies crawl all of the time; Ben does it every time I go home." Peter chuckled making her shake her head as she pointed at the ceiling.

"Wall crawl." Taran said dryly as Peter looked up to see a giggling Ananase on the ceiling.

"Oh…" Peter muttered before laughing. "That's my boy." Peter said before leaping up and grabbing his son from the ceiling.

"I hope he grows out of this phase soon, seeing as I can't exactly crawl after him," Taran said making Peter frown in thought before smirking. Seeing his expression she raised an eyebrow at him. "What-"Taran stopped as she release a startled gasp when Peter nipped her neck.

"Give it a few hours; you'll be wall crawling like a pro." Peter said with a wink as she trembled at the feeling of his venom coursing through her.

Wednesday

Peter was now standing on the Web of Life with Julia and Jessica.

"Well that's awkward…" Peter muttered getting their attention as he stared off into the distance as if watching something they couldn't see.

"What?" Jessica wondered.

"Well…it's just…remember that reality where we were married? Looks like Julia was added to the mix." Peter said as he tilted his head to the side. "I know I should look away…but damn that's kinky."

"You're so full of it-"Jessica stopped when she looked at where Peter was staring and tilted her head. "W-wow…I had no idea Julia was in to that kind of thing…"

"It's always the quiet ones." Peter added making Julia roll her eyes.

"Would you too please try to focus-Oh….well damn." Julia muttered as she tilted her head at the sight as well. "I had no idea Jessica could bend that way."

"Me either." Jessica added. It was then that Mayday entered the realm.

"What are you two- Oh come on!" Mayday shouted in disgust as she saw far more of her father than she ever wanted to. "Every time I come in here you three are always watching some version of my Dad have sex!"

"Well now you know how I felt when I accidently saw you and Felicity last week!" Peter said making her pale and step back in horror. Felicity and April had tricked her into getting drunk and when she woke up…let's just say she was prepared to take what happened to the grave.

"She didn't know about that Peter." Jessica said dryly as she rubbed the bridge of her nose.

"Oh…" Peter said feeling extremely uncomfortable. Looks like a topic change was in order. "So who wants to make that earth's reality our reality? Mayday you've got the day off." Peter said as the two eldest Madame Webs looked at him in disbelief.

Thursday

Peter was now walking through an apartment with a giggling black haired toddler on his back. It wasn't long before he walked into the living room where Adriana was watching television.

"Mommy!" The girl cheered as she leapt of her father's back. "I had so much fun!" Elise cheered as she began explaining her day at the zoo to her mother as Peter watched on with a smile, it was only at these moments when Adriana could be seen with something other than her cold expression.

"Sounds like you had a good time." Adriana said with a small smile.

"I did, here daddy got you something too!" Now this made Peter pause as he wanted to be out of the apartment before Adriana saw her souvenir.

"Oh?" Adriana asked seeing his now nervous expression.

"Yeah, look!" Elise said enthusiastically as she reached into her plastic bag and pulled out a stuffed monkey. Adriana gaped at the gift before shaking her head as Peter tried to stealthily escape.

"Princess, why don't you go upstairs and get changed into something more comfortable. I promised I would play with you today right?" Adriana asked making the girl look up at her with wide red eyes.

"But what about the lessons?" Elise asked carefully. It had been explained to her early why she couldn't have normal schools or friends around her age just yet. She knew it was for her own good, but that didn't mean she had to like it.

"Today's a special day." Adriana smiled making Elise beam up at her before running to get changed. When she was gone, Adriana's expression morphed back into her usual one as she stood up and walked towards Peter with a scowl as she held monkey angrily.

"N-Now Adriana…I-It was a joke." Peter got out as he backed up slightly. Adriana's eyes were replaced by golden flames as he tensed for a fight.

But it never came.

Instead, Adriana kissed him hard, making his eyes widen in shock. Releasing him Adriana laughed slightly at his expression before walking away.

"You know you should get going, you wouldn't want to be late for your date with your wives would you?" Adriana questioned snapping Peter from his shock.

"That's why it's good to be the Great Weaver; I can be at multiple places at once." Peter said nonchalantly.

"Then why don't you stay for the day?" Adriana offered making Peter stare at her softly before nodding.

-Meanwhile: Emora: Restaurant-

"So what do you plan to do now that the Tournament is back?" Silver wondered as she sat with Spider-Man as they drank some wine.

"No idea." Spider-Man shrugged. "I already made a promise to myself not to check in on Chun-Li and Talon. I have absolutely no idea where they are or what they're doing. Though I think May's team should be able to pull through. Alpha alone can probably solo almost everyone in it…at the same time."

"You said he's surpassed Sentry correct?" Silver implored making Spider-Man snort.

"He did that in his first week as Alpha." Spider-Man said as he shook his head. "He's already countless times stronger than the Alpha that took out New York."

"God I hope he doesn't go rogue." Silver muttered as she shook her head.

"Don't worry, I always have contingency plans but he should he be okay." Spider-Man said simply. By contingency plans he meant May and the gun he had stashed back at the Temple that could zap away Andy's powers instantly. (LIAG Fun Fact: Using some of Terminus' technology in Cannon, Spider-Man was able to remove the majority Alpha's powers.)

"I hope so, by the way when you get the chance make sure to tell Natasha to put the charges at full power." Silver said suddenly making Spidey frown.

"Won't that vaporize everything in a fifteen mile radius?" Spider-Man questioned making Silver roll her eyes.

"Doom is planning a coup; he's already created a small army of Doombots. He doesn't know that we know this, so we are going to nip this situation in the bud now." Silver said dryly. "You do remember what happened last time you didn't listen to me, right?" Silver questioned referring the entire Doc Ock fiasco. When everything had finally calmed down, she was sure to remind Peter that she had told him to kill Octavius when he had the chance or at least let her do it.

"Yes…" Spidey sighed.

"So you're going to tell her right?"

"Yes, dear…" Spidey sighed again as she leaned over and kissed him. "I'm so whipped."

"Good boy."

-Meanwhile: With Natasha-

"Put them at Maximum power!" Spider-Man shouted as he ran from a large building with Natasha over his shoulders like a sack of potatoes, much to her annoyance.

"Isn't that over kill?" Black Widow questioned in confusion, it wasn't every day that Spider-Man of all people would suggest excessive force.

"Silver said leave nothing to chance." Spider-Man answered making her nod her head knowingly.

"Well the last time someone didn't listen to her, existence almost ended so she's probably right." Widow said dryly as she pressed the hourglass on her belt buckle, remotely increasing the force of the charges. "Let's get the hell out of here!"

"On it!"

-With Doom-

Doom chuckled as he sat on his makeshift throne.

"Once I reclaim my country, I shall further increase my forces, and then the world shall know Doom-"

*KA-BOOOOOOM!*

-With Spider-Man-

Natasha and Spider-Man were both surrounded by golden webs just as a red flash was about to collide in to them. Diving forward through the webs, they both found themselves teleporting just over a pool in the back of Emora's castle.

*SPLASH!*

"And that's why I have Robyn destroy anyone's attempts to make weapons from Parker particles." Spider-Man said dryly as he and Natasha floated in the pool. The two floated there for a moment before someone cleared their throat. Turning around they saw MJ sitting on a chair shaped pool float with an eyebrow raised as she sipped her drink.

"Can't you two just go to the park or something for your dates? Like normal people?" MJ questioned dryly as she shook her head. "I swear every single time you two go out you end up doing some sort of James Bond crap."

"Hey it was her idea! I said to go to the movies." Spidey deflected.

"Keeps life interesting." Natasha said with a shrug and a small smile. "Why go watch someone do this kind of thing when we can do it for real?"

"Because we can die?" Spider-Man said slowly as if talking to a child making Natasha shake her head slowly.

"You wouldn't last a day in my home country." Natasha said as Peter climbed out of the pool.

"Whatever you say, heavy weapons girl." Spidey muttered in a fake Russian accent as his mask peeled back. (LIAG Fun Fact: Look up heavy weapons guy.)

"All I'm asking is would a few marigolds hurt?" Spider-Man questioned Hela as he watched a soul scream in agony. The goddess of death simply rolled her eyes as she sat on her throne next to Spider-Man who sat on his own.

"No dear, that would throw off the entire theme I'm going for." Hela reminded before kissing him on his cheek and patting his head. "Now just sit back and watched the poor souls scream for salvation."

"You're…really a piece of work you know that?" Spidey said dryly before flinching as one soul suddenly combusted into a hellish fireball. Normally he'd have a problem with the torture thing but Hela decided she would desensitize him from such horrors seeing as he would have to see a lot more of it.

"AHAHAHA! He actually tried to run!" Hela laughed as she wiped a tear from her eyes.

"Damn woman, at least let me get you a TV!" Spidey said incredulously as another poor soul imploded on itself. If he wasn't so sure that they did something that deserved the torment he'd have tried to help. Everything about Hela may have screamed evil, but she was a fair goddess when it came to this kind of thing. "I can't tell whose worse, Hela or Venus. I mean Hela gives me nightmares that last weeks, but Venus…"

-Meanwhile Olympus-

-Venus' chamber-

"Ah, I needed that!" Venus smiled as she lay naked on her bed while an exhausted Peter was crawling on the floor towards the door in nothing but his boxers. "Ready for round two?" Peter's eyes widened in horror as he began to frantically crawl away. If he wasn't part spider his fingers probably would have bled form the effort.

-Outside Venus' chambers-

A visibly upset Hebe was walking through the halls of Olympus. Her eyes widened in shock when she saw the withered form of Peter crawling on the floor while Ares laughed at him.

She possesses superhuman strength (Class 25), stamina, durability, vitality, healing and functional immortality. Since reaching early adulthood she has not aged; she is immune to harm from conventional means of injury and cannot suffer from any terrestrial disease. Should she indeed incur a wound her godly metabolism enables her to regenerate at a superhuman rate of speed. She also possesses the innate ability to manipulate magic as all Olympians do, but she has yet to show any proficiency in this area. Prior to the destruction of Olympus, Hebe should have be able to teleport between Olympus and Earth.

In her role as the goddess of youth, she is able to restore the youth and vitality to mortals and animals if they have reached an advanced age. She is also cupbearer to the gods, and the recipes for nectar and ambrosia are hers - the Formulae for Immortality itself.

"F-Food…W-water…A-atmosphere…" Peter gasped out, his voice hoarse from over use and lack of water.

"AHAHAHAHA!" Ares boomed.

"P-Peter!? What happened to you!?" Hebe questioned with wide blue eyes as she ran towards him, her blonde hair flowing as she did so.

"Looks like sister took him for a ride! AHAHAHA!" Ares roared as he walked away.

"K-Kill me…" Peter gasped out before his head hit the floor as she looked on in horror, unsure of what to do next.

-Later-

An exhausted Peter was now lying on his back with his head in Hebe's lap, as said blonde held a golden jar to his lips. The frantic Hebe was now pouring some of her Nectar down his throat. Seeing him open his eyes, Hebe set the jar down as Peter finished swallowing the golden liquid.

"G-God?" Peter asked helplessly making her wonder just what the hell happened to her friend. (LIAG Fun Fact: Aunt May once set them up on a blind date, Peter probably could have gone somewhere with it if Hercules didn't show up when they were kissing.)

"Peter, it's me Hebe come on you have to stay with us, what would your aunt think if you died?" Hebe questioned softly. That seemed to be the right thing as Peter widened his eyes and flipped to his feet.

"It's not my time yet!" Peter shouted heroically. A silence passed before Hebe began to giggle at his antics. "Thank you for your help Hebe! Glad to know I can count on you!" it was then Peter noticed that he was only in his underwear and paled. He didn't pale because he was nearly naked in front of Hercules' wife. Oh no. He beat Zeus, Hercules didn't scare him.

Venus did.

Because he left his suit in her room, which meant he'd have to go back and get it. Peter shuddered at the thought of his wife.

"Peter, what exactly happened to you?" Hebe inquired making him shiver. "I know you stopped by a week ago but no one has seen you until today."

"I made the mistake of telling Venus I could be at multiple places at once." Peter said with a shudder as his face reddened slightly. "We've been…getting acquainted ever since." Hebe was confused at first, until realization began to dawn on her as she covered her mouth in shock. "I haven't slept, eaten, nor did I drink anything since."

"Oh but surely she let you have breaks…between… each time, correct?" Hebe asked making Peter shake his head.

"No you don't understand." Peter said as he shook his head. "The last week was all one time."Peter explained making her gasp as her face reddened even more than his did.

"That's unheard of for even Gods, I didn't know mortals were able to last that long. A few hours maybe, but days?" Hebe questioned as Peter trembled.

"We can't." Peter added with another shudder. "But her powers…they did something to my body. I was just living off of the Tantra being released and-oh God." Peter shook as he had flashbacks. It was official; he was going to need counseling. "I think something broke as well."

"You had multiple hairline fractures on your pelvis." Hebe stated as she looked away from him. "From the way Ares was laughing, I had assumed it was a sparring match gone wrong…but I didn't think it was that. My Nectar should have healed them though." Peter nodded before gaining a faraway look in his eyes.

"If you excuse me, I have to go attempt to retrieve my suit, mind if I have some Nectar?"

"Of course." Hebe nodded as she poured some in a golden cup and handed it to Peter. Peter gave his thanks before limping away, but before he was gone, he glanced back over his shoulder.

"By the way, if you need someone to talk to I'm willing to listen, it's obvious something is bugging you." Peter said as he raised his cup towards her before walking away again, leaving a wide-eyed goddess of youth behind him.

Today we find Peter sitting on a comfortable couch with Carol in their civilian clothes as the music continued to blast throughout the building.

"Gotta admit, you do have some nice dance moves web-head." Carol laughed making Peter chuckle before taking a sip of his drink.

"What can I say? I'm just that awesome." Peter shrugged. "You know in hindsight I'm glad I took Anansi's place."

"I would imagine. The amount of money you managed to acquire is unbelievable. I still can't believe you use your Spider-Sense to gamble and play the stock market." Carol said as she shook her head.

"Now you can't prove that, though technically it's not illegal." Peter pointed out before taking another sip. "But anyway it's not because of the money, the thing I appreciate the most is that I now have the chance to spend time with those I love." Peter said sincerely as he held her gaze. Carol's expression softened greatly at his words.

"You know, throughout our entire relationship that might be the first time you've even implied that?" Carol laughed lightly making Peter frown in thought.

"Is that right?" Peter murmured before grasping the side of her face gently. "Then let me do it the correct way. Carol Danvers you've been one of my closest friends throughout the years, but lately our time together has been more than I could have ever imagined. I love you." Carol stared at him with wide eyes for a moment before a radiant smile grace the powerful woman's lips.

"I love you too." Carol said before kissing him softly. Soon the kiss deepened more and more as the Peter found himself being pushed on to his back. Peter's hand eased up her shirt but before they could go any further someone cleared their throat.

"Yo webs as much as I really hate to be that guy, you know the one that cock-blocks you?" Deadpool began making them break their kiss and turn to him. "You can't get laid in the VIP room; you want the DP's in Alphabet City to do that. Honest mistake I should really make the two clubs look different, you're like the fifth guy I had to stop in two days." Deadpool said making Peter groan. "You could always become a partner in DP corp. and buy this club if you want." Wade added making Peter roll his eyes before pulling out his check book. After a few moments Peter ripped the check out and handed it to the merc.

"That enough?"

"Yup! Have fun partner!" The Merc said before leaving as Carol watched the exchange in disbelief.

"Did…did you just buy a club just so you could have sex with me?" Carol asked in disbelief. "Aren't you being a little irresponsible with your money?"

"I literally have too much." Peter groaned sounding annoyed at that fact. "I'm used to living with the necessities. I only use one percent of my accumulated wealth, I have no idea what to do with the rest. I've given it to charities, Aunt May until she threatened to hurt me if I gave her more, hell not even May will accept it; she says her allowance is enough."

"You can always pull a Tony and waste it on super armors." Carol pointed out making Peter shake his head.

"No offense to Tony, but I can actually fight. The suit I have is enough." Peter sighed. "I don't know maybe I'll turn this place into an orphanage or something, but enough about that….where were we?" Still in disbelief Carol just shook her head with a small smile before descending upon the Spider-hero.

It was evening as Peter stepped out of his apartment building. A black limo pulled up in front of the building as he walked down the steps. Peter watched as a large bald man wearing a black suit and sung glasses stepped out from the driver's seat and walked around to open up the back door.

"Good evening sir, the Boss has been expecting you." The man said making Peter nod as he stepped in the back seat. The driver closed the door and Peter turned to face a familiar blonde woman sitting in front of him.

"Felicia's not coming to your party?" Kiden questioned as she lit a cigarette. Kiden looked the same if not a bit more mature as her eyes seemed to have lost whatever small amount of innocence she had left. Her eyes weren't as vibrant as before and instead were now ice cold. She was wearing a strapless black dress and she now wore her hair in a blonde pixie cut.

"Nah she decided to spend some time with Ben." Peter answered as Kiden rolled down the windows and stared outside at the city as they drove through the New York streets. Releasing a stream of smoke, Kiden sighed.

"Shame, I wanted to thank her for being a witness for me."

"That reminds me…who tried to rat you out?" Peter questioned making the young woman frown.

"A member of the Maggia crime syndicate." Kiden muttered as her cigarette was crushed in her hand, making Peter frown.

"Maggia?" Peter repeated with narrowed eyes. (LIAG Helpful Info: The Maggia Crime syndicate is a group of crime families that are very powerful. They are mainly based in New York; their toughest competitor has been Kingpin, who at his peak is stronger than them all.)

"Those bastards think they can take me down, they don't know just who they are fucking with. Kingpin is gone and they think they can take over our city?" Kiden questioned rhetorically with a glare.

"Who could they have sent to testify against you though? Many people have been trying to build a case against you since Robyn forged a will for Fisk leaving you as his sole inheritor."

"I told you no one would buy that sob story about him saving me from the streets." Kiden said dryly.

"The majority did, and that's what we're going for. As long as you have a good public image and continue to help me with the charity work then you're safe. Robyn is making it so that no solid evidence can be stacked against you, but you have to act the part of the young woman the world thinks you are." Peter said firmly making her nod. Peter then softened his gaze. "Kiden I know its personal, I can tell by how you're acting….just who was it?"

"Tyler Nixon." Kiden spit out the name as if it were venom.

"Wait, Nixon?" Peter repeated in shock.

"Yes, my idiot older brother got his dumbass mixed up with the Maggia. He sold heroine for them and as soon the leader actually paid attention to his last name, there was a surprise character witness. That's why my lawyers asked for Felicia." Kiden revealed before closing her eyes. "Peter you've already done so much for me to help me keep my promises, I'm sorry for getting your family mixed up in this."

"Kiden, listen, it's okay-"

"It's not okay at all Peter." Kiden said as she shook her head. "Just…just why are you helping me? It can't just be because you want to keep me safe for Laura."

"…" Peter leaned back and sighed. "A little while back, I heard about what you did when you first met Laura. I was angry at Zebra daddy for the crimes he committed against you all, but worst of all I was angry at myself. I realized that I wasn't helping out as much as I thought I did. It's so easy to help does who are calling for help, but when it comes to the ones who are silently suffering I feel helpless."

"Pete, you ain't God, there is no way you could have helped us if you didn't know about it. I never once even thought about blaming you. You helped out more than you could have known; you gave us hope. Hope that one day we might be able to be whisked away from our troubles by the Amazing Spider-Man."

"But I didn't help you." Peter protested.

"But sometimes giving us just the idea that we can be saved is enough to get us through to the next day instead of refusing to live on." Kiden said knowingly.

"Leah." Peter finally said confusing her. The name alone made his heart ache, in hindsight this might have been the first time he even revealed this story to another person.

"Who?" Kiden asked perplexed.

"A little homeless girl, couldn't have been more than eight…damn I must have passed over where she had made her shelter at least a hundred times. Day after day I went on saving everyone except that one little girl who I never noticed. There's no telling how many times she must have seen me passing overhead." Peter said as he shut his eyes tight.

"Peter-"

"One day, however, I did find her." Peter continued as Kiden frowned. "She was so happy to see me, but by this time she had fallen sick and into a coma. The doctors said she wouldn't make it, that I was too late. You know what makes it even worse though?"

"What?" Kiden asked carefully.

"The shelter she made was covered with hundreds of Spider-Man clippings. She was quite honestly my biggest fan." Peter finished a she looked at her. "When I look at you I can't help but wonder if she would have been like you if she was just a little older and not sick. That's why I help you. I take out super villains and criminals, but when it comes to entire crime syndicates…that's only something you can destroy. So you can bet your ass I'll have your back."

(LIAG Helpful Info: Leah was from a short Spider-Man comic that was published, it was inspired by the little match girl. It was a very sad read.)

The two were silent for a moment before Kiden's eyes hardened as she came to a silent resolve.

"One week." Kiden said suddenly confusing Peter. "I've been letting the Maggia dictate the terms of the silent war for too long. I'm done with their games, they will be crushed in one week and it'll start with my idiot brother."

"What are you going to do to him?" Peter asked although he had a feeling he already knew the answer. He could have simply just looked into the future to see Tyler's fate but he wanted to hear it from Kiden's mouth.

"Simple, I'm going to make him a message. The Maggia are cocky, over confident in thinking that they've found my weakness so they are going to send him as their representative to this party of yours to unnerve me. Destroy the weakness, send the remains to their door step, and while they are scurrying around in confusion; they'll be no more."

"You can't really be thinking about killing your own brother, could you really do something like that to family?" Peter asked with a frown making Kiden snort.

"My family died with my father. Make sure yours doesn't end up the same way." Kiden said seriously. "With as many kids as you're probably going to have crawling around with so many different women. It is far too easy for a sibling rivalry to get taken too far. Keep an eye on them, and don't die. We're here, show time." Kiden finished as their door was opened Peter quickly stashed her advice away for later as he stepped out of the limo and helped Kiden out for the cameras. They both pasted large smiles on their faces and gave absolutely no sign of their previous conversation.

"Mr. Parker, Mr. Parker-"

"Ms. Nixon is it true that-"

"Did you two bang?'

"Shut the fuck up Dave!"

The two quickly made it passed the paparazzi and entered the Alchemax HQ.

-One hour later-

"Mr. Stark, Glad you could make it." Peter said with practiced ease making smile and shake his hand as a flash went off. Both men stepped off to the side once the cameras finished taking pictures.

"Now Pete, what's up with the sudden party? I know you; you're working an angle aren't you?" Tony questioned making Peter laugh.

"Who me? What gave you that idea?" Peter asked with mock innocence.

"Well we're in a room with some of the nation's most powerful criminals or genius men and women, and if my data is correct at least half of them are criminals under the guise of a wealthy philanthropist." Tony deadpanned. "I understand gathering the crime lords, but why invite the nation's smartest people? So that it wouldn't be too obvious what you're doing?"

"Well there's that…and I just didn't want to be bored with the conversation." Peter added sheepishly making Tony snort.

"So why invite me? Thinking of joining back with the Avengers?" Tony questioned curiously.

"Hell no. I invited you because I need a wing man." Peter deadpanned.

"What?" Tony asked incredulously

"I have a trap, and you're going to help me spring it." Peter said simply. "3...2…1…"

"Peter, I've got a visual on Tyler. With us both here there is no way I'll get a chance to sneak away with him if the cameras keep hounding us." Kiden said as she stood next to the CEO.

"Got it, I'll distract them and you…go do what you have to." Peter said making her nod her head.

"I meant what I said, no siblings bonds should ever become as festered as ours. Be better than my parents." Kiden said lowly making him nod.

"Let's go Tony." Peter said as he sat his drink down and began walking towards whom Tony could see was Pepper and another blonde woman. Upon closer inspection, Tony could see that it was none other than Sue Storm Richards. "Ladies would you do us the honor of giving us one dance? Tony has been dying to get one dance in with Pepper all night." Peter chuckled as Pepper looked at Tony in surprise at the oddly romantic gesture. "She's all yours buddy." Peter said before grabbing Sue by her hand and dragging her towards the center of the room.

"W-wait Peter!" Sue said in shock as she was spun around and pulled back into Peter's arms.

"Come on, you've been cooped up in the corner of this room all night, you need to have a little fun." Peter chuckled making her cheeks redden slightly as the cameras began flashing rapidly. "Tell me, how is it that you answered an invitation I sent to Reed? I thought you two we're separated?"

"Still waiting for the divorce to be finalized." Sue admitted. "He's researching right now. Ben is looking after the kids and Johnny is out on a date with Megan so he asked me to come in his place, I had nothing better to do so I agreed. When this divorce happens I still want to keep him as a friend." Sue explained quietly making Peter nod as he danced with her, his smile never leaving his face. "You don't look surprised."

"On the contrary, I was betting on you showing up." Peter admitted.

"When Reed's inability to leave his lab becomes key parts of diabolical plans then you know he has a problem." Sue said dryly making Peter laugh. "Though I guess it wasn't a total waste, I did end up dancing with a billionaire, playboy, philanthropist funny how it isn't Stark though."

"I'll have you know that my taste is much more refined than his." Peter said seriously.

"Oh is that so?" Sue said teasingly.

"It is, I only choose the most beautiful women both inside and out, and even then I don't actively pursue them, they for some strange reason fall for me." Peter said as his hand rested on the small of her back. "Tell me; where you really bored or did you just want to see me again?" Peter teased making Sue glance down shyly. "It's okay, you know, I know I wasn't the only one who felt that forbidden pull between us."

"I shouldn't feel it." Sue argued weakly. "You already have so many commitments along with your children. I'm still technically married and have my own kids to look after."

"There is never a right time for love and life isn't long enough to worry about the future. I stopped and look at me now." Peter said as he noticed a few cameramen still looking ta Kiden, preventing her from getting her brother from the building. Peter leaned in closer making her swallow as her throat felt dry. "The only thing that separates us is the atmosphere, and your fear."

"P-peter…" Sue gasped out as she found herself looking at his lips.

"Wanna make headlines?" Peter asked quietly.

"Yes."

And with that, Sue and Peter both closed the distance as they finally stopped denying the burning desire in their hearts. Every head in the room turned to the pair in shock, and Kiden used that moment to drag her brother into No Time and disappeared.

"…Unbelievable." Tony said in disbelief before raising his hands in surrender. "Parker is insane." Tony said seriously making Pepper laugh.

"Hey now, Peter isn't that bad."

"Yeah-wait- since when was he Peter?" Tony questioned suspiciously making Pepper glance to the side.

"We've become friends over the past few months; he's a really nice guy. Always brings me flowers when he comes to visit you. Hey don't look like that, it's nothing serious." Pepper said as she rolled her eyes. "Though remember you aren't the only one that can have meaningless flings. So would you like to try something a little more serious?" It soon became apparent to Tony that pepper was having no more of his bullshit. With a sigh Tony gave a tired smiled and nodded. Beaming, Pepper embraced Tony and rested her head on his shoulder as they danced. She saw Peter give her a knowing look from across the room before he winked at her. Pepper mouth 'thank you' to him and both couples continued to dance the night away.

"Don't you think this is a little excessive?" Chun-Li said dryly as she stood in vibranium handcuffs as her body was littered with red laser points as he was surrounded by various SHIELD agents.

"It's just a formality." Coulson said looking slightly amused at the situation. "Your fists are considered weapons of mass destruction. You did send three of our search teams to the hospital." Chun-Li glanced around the room and raised an eyebrow at some of the agents that were visibly shaking, they must have been the new recruits seeing as the older ones were…indisposed. Chun-Li tilted her head as she looked back at Phil.

"[You don't really think these cuffs could stop me from killing everyone in this room if I wanted to do you? Besides I'm not that dangerous…though the teams you've sent after me are the first people to live after fighting me in a year.]" Chun-Li stated in her mother tongue skeptically making the agents tense.

"Coulson, what the hell did she just say!?" One of the terrified agents asked with wide eyes.

"She said she's sorry for the trouble." Coulson answered with a chuckle. "Still your timing could not have been better, the tournament's been back for a week now and your team is the farthest hero team we have."

"[Well I'm game if my team mates are, I can't wait to see how much stronger they've become.]" Chun-Li said simply before she got an odd glint in her eye. "[Besides there is someone I really want to fight.]" Chun-Li said seriously as an image of Juri flashed through her mind. "[She's gotten strong; it will be interesting that much is for sure.]"

-Meanwhile: New York-

"There might be one more thing that should interest you before I drop you off at your final destination." Nick Fury Jr. said as he sat in front of Talon, Magik, and Erista in the SHIELD limo. The little boy had fallen asleep and was now wearing a pair of shorts and a black 'I love NY shirt'.

"Is that so? What is it?" Talon asked curiously.

"Mr. Parker and your friend Kiden put together something special when New York was being rebuilt; I think you might like it. Look out the window." Frowning in confusion, both women did as he said and soon Talon couldn't hold back her gasp at the sight. There was a large white and gold building. It looked as if it were some sort of prestigious academy, and looking closer at the words on the building she could see that, it was in fact such an academy.

[Laura Kinney's Academy for Extraordinary Individuals]

In front of the building there was a fountain that had a golden statue of a smiling Chrissy standing heroically as she held the Earth in her right hand.

"In Memory of Chrissy Chen, Alpha- the first graduate. She lived the rule 'With great Power comes great Responsibility.'" Magik read as Talon was still speechless.

"It's a school for mutants, super powered humans, or even regular young people thinking of having a career in SHIELD. Each student is ranked according to their Power, control, intelligence, leader ship skills, and ability to work with others. Those who are going to have a secret Identity are required to go to school in costume and are forbidden from sharing their identity. The top ten students have a choice of joining the Avengers, X-Men, or SHIELD upon graduation. Ironically the top three students currently are looking in to the three separate organizations."

"Who are they?" Talon asked curiously making Nick smirk.

"Spider-Girl is ranked one; she's like her father only far superior than he was at her age. Andrew Garfield Codename: Alpha is ranked a close second mainly because he loses to her in Academics. Finally Hope Summers Codename: Messiah follows them."

"I thought Hope was in Utopia?" Talon said with a frown.

"She was, but she was inspired by how much you grew once you left the country and soon followed your example after you disappeared. It seems to have done her some good seeing as her mutation has reached entirely new lengths. She can now copy the mutation of any mutant on earth at will. The three of them are good friends. Spider-Girl and Alpha are much farther ahead than the other students their age and will be graduating with Hope this year."

"This is a lot to take in." Talon muttered making Nick raise an eyebrow.

"Well you better hurry up because you're chairman." Nick said bluntly making her look at him incredulously. "The kid can join too once he shows his mutation. I can see the resemblance from here; I'd guess he was yours if I didn't know better. Logan's kid?" Nick questioned making Talon nod. "Oh he'd be an interesting student that's for sure. Where did he come from?"

"I hid out in the Savage lands for a bit and my enemies followed me. His mother was killed in the process though he's too young to understand what happened." Talon began sadly. "At first I didn't notice his connection until I got his scent. Now I'm just trying to make sure he has a better life than Logan or I had but it's already been off to a rocky start."

"All you can do is your best." Nick said seriously making the feral sigh.

"I just hope that's good enough."

-Later: Joan's apartment-

Peter knocked on the door of his agent's apartment and almost instantly the door whipped open.

"Peter darling, if it isn't my favorite client!" the red-head cheered as Peter raised an eyebrow at her. He didn't want to leave her in the dark about why two of her clients disappeared and let her in on his identity. She helped his image and thanks to his success she was even richer than before.

"Is that scotch? Joan do you know how early it is?" Peter asked in shock.

"It's drinking time somewhere, darling." Joan said with a short laugh as Peter followed her into her apartment.

"So what was so important? It must be big if you're this hyper." Peter said with a raised eyebrow.

"What's important is that I am about to be the richest agent in history with this tournament back." Joan smiled. "With your team coming back the cash will pour in!"

"I thought I said to sign Spider-Girl's team? Mine is still missing if you didn't notice." Peter said skeptically.

"Oh I did sign the kids up, but we still have a contract dear. As for your team, look around for a second." Joan laughed. It was then that Peter noticed that he was not alone, looking around he saw the highly amused expression of Talon and Chun-Li; Magik was also there holding a little boy. The little boy turned to Peter with wide eyes, and the web head noticed that the kid looked extremely similar to Talon.

"Papa!" The boy cheered.

A silence.

-Later-

Peter awoke several hours later in a daze to find Chun-Li laughing her ass off as tears fell from her eyes.

"You're evil." Talon said to the woman as she tried to fight back a smile.

"Laura? What? Who? How-"

"Relax, that was just Chun-Li messing with you." Talon said as she picked up the boy. "This is my little brother, Erista."

"Logan?" Peter questioned making her nod. "Oh I am going to have fun with this one." Peter said to himself.

"I have to say Peter, I'm impressed." Chun-Li said. "The last thing I was expecting was for you to be so rich."

"What can I say, I had motivation." Peter said with a shrug as he thought of all the children he had to support along with their mothers before turning back to Joan.

"Your match is later tonight against team Astounding, whose member consist of Four men: Daken, Houston's Scarlet Spider, LA's Scarlet Spider, and Ryu." Joan said as Peter raised an eyebrow. He wasn't expecting Ben to come in from LA to fight his team.

"Three against four…that might be a bit unfair….for them." Chun-Li said with a thoughtful expression.

"Actually that's something I wanted to talk to you two about." Talon began as she turned to her team mates. "You two wouldn't mind if Illyana joins would you? Over the past year she has been a very useful asset to me in battle."

"Sure why not?" Peter shrugged.

"Her chi flows with yours in perfect harmony, she should join." Chun-Li said as she nodded her head.

"Welcome to team Amazing." Peter smiled before frowning as he heard Joan sniffling. "Joan are…are you crying?"

"*Sniff* I…I'm g-going to m-make s-so much f-fucking m-money." Joan wept in joy making all four members of Team Amazing face-palm at their eccentric agent.

-Later that night-

Apparently the battle was going to take place on the roof of Alchemax's HQ, much to Peter's annoyance who didn't want anything to get damaged.

"Alright we're going to get this over with as quickly as possible." Peter said as his Spider-Man mask appeared on his face while they rode the elevator up to the roof. "Laura, you got Daken you've fought him the most so you should be able to handle him the quickest."

"Understood." Talon said with a nod.

"Chun-Li, I've kicked Ryu's ass countless times with you in Street Fighter, he's all yours." Spider-Man continued with a visible smirk.

"[Up yours.]" Chun-LI muttered as she flipped him off.

"That leaves the two Scarlet Spiders. Kaine is physically stronger than Ben but he lacks both a Spider-Sense and any real fighting style. Ben's Spider-sense gives him the edge so I'll deal with him seeing as his is too weak to help him against me. That leaves Kaine to you Magik." Spider-Man finished.

"Your powers are much stronger than they used to be Magik, hold back and don't use that unless you have no other choice. The less our potential opponents know about our new strength the better." Talon said firmly.

"Your will be done." Magik seriously.

"Alright, let's get this over with Joan isn't really good with kids and I'd hate to see what Erista does to her." Spidey chuckled.

With this, Ryu left Gouken and Ken, and headed to fight in the first World Warrior tournament. Which he totally destroyed!" Rebuff shouted enthusiastically.

Although Akihira named him Akihiro, the house servants and other families secretly call him Daken, a slur on his mixed heritage.

Growing up Akihiro was teased by the other boys of the village, his bad treatment over the years caused Akihiro to grow cold and hateful toward everyone except to Akihira whom he loved dearly. Manipulated by Romulus, Daken spent the majority of his life trying to kill his father before a fateful encounter with his father's clone daughter Talon. Talon who was also being manipulated at the time humiliated him in a fight that quickly showed him the error of his ways. Together after she broke free from Romulus' control they teamed up with their father to bring an end to Romulus once and for all. And that's it for Team Astounding." Rebuff cheered before turning to the screen. "But that's not all folks; Team Amazing has actually gotten a new member who is technically a new weapon of Talon's."

Illyana Rasputin

"One of the three children of the Rasputin family, her bloodline was manipulated by Mr. Sinister so that they would produce powerful mutant children. Her and her sibling have immense powers that can affect the world on a global level. Not too long ago, Illyana had followed the mutant terrorist Cyclops, however that would prove to be her own undoing as his actions led to her into a battle against Talon, someone she had accidentally banished to hell. Safe to say once Talon broke free from Hell, shit proceeded to hit the fan and she's now found herself in unholy servitude after having her will shattered." Rebuff finished. "Today will be a four on four fight to the death! Of course the deaths will not be permanent, so go wild!"

"Be safe, mistress." Magik said as she held her soul blade in her right hand and stared Kaine down.

"Alright. Let's see if we still got it." Spider-Man said before web-swinging toward the other group as Chun-Li appeared before Ryu and rammed her palm into his stomach. Spider-Man kicked Kaine in his face before landing and speed blitzing Ben.

"Gah!" Ryu winced.

"[Monkey's palm.]" Chun-Li muttered as Ryu was sent flying towards the edge of the roof. Recovering Ryu flipped to his feet and ran towards Chun-Li, whom charged him head on. Once they were within arm's reach of each other time slowed down as they cocked their fists back and glared at each other. However before Ryu's fist could make contact, Chun-Li ducked under it and placed two well-placed jabs to his chest. Chun-Li then spun around and leapt back towards him in order to ram her elbow into his face before back flipping over him. Landing behind the staggered Ryu in a crouch, she expertly sweep kicked his legs from under him. Grabbing him by the back of his Gi, Chun-Li flipped him and slammed him into the roof.

"Let's go!" Daken growled as he dashed at Talon with his claws drawn. He made it two steps before a black tendril ripped through his stomach. "WHAT!?" Snapping her fingers, Talon set the tendril on fire making the feral howl in pain before being tossed off the building.

"His skeleton is hard…like Logan's." Talon thought with a frown before leaping off of the building and descending upon her elder brother quickly.

*THOOOM!*

Daken coughed up blood as Talon slammed down into his stomach.

"You've gotten stronger, I can feel it. Unfortunately for you so have I. I am the worse opponent you could have gotten." Talon said simply as she gazed down at him calmly with bright violet eyes.

"I've picked up a few tricks myself!" Daken growled before his eyes suddenly went red as his muscles pulsed and tightened. Talon widened her eyes slightly before flipping off of him as he leapt to his feet and glared at her viciously. "Astounding what a little mental training can do for you. Huh lil' sis!" Daken roared before rushing at her.

"How does he have this much control over his berserker rage without merging!?" Talon wondered perplexed as she ducked under his wild slashes. "If I didn't merge with Selene he could have easily taken my old self's place as alpha. Though he is Logan's eldest son, this is to be expected at this point." Talon thought before smirking.

*SNICKT!*

*SCHING! *

Talon slashed back at him with her own talons.

"You've worked hard Daken and I will respect that. This will be our last fight, no special powers, just the animals inside of us!" Talon roared. Daken grinned viciously and both brother and sister charged at each other in a way that was eerily similar to Sabretooth and Wolverine. (LIAG Helpful Info: Look I know Logan and Victor aren't siblings in canon but they are both still feral rivals.)

Meanwhile, Magik was having her own problems as she and Chun-Li continued to fight their opponents.

"His reaction speed is incredible." Illyana thought with a glare as she viciously slashed at Kaine who was able to dodge the expertly maneuvered attempts even without a Spider-Sense. "If I can just make contact I win. He has nearly no blind spots, if I can just exploit one…" A few yards away from her Chun-Li glanced back at her with a frown as she kicked Ryu in the air, which simply flipped to his feet and began to prepare his ultimate attack.

"Her form is great, she is definitely strong. She can probably give me a good work out, but she has a terrible matchup, either one of them could end the battle with one attack. Guess I'll help her out." Chun-Li thought as she dashed to the side. As this was going on Ben was surrounded by countless Spider-Man after-images as he was panting tiredly on one knee.

"No matter what I do I can't touch him! My Spider-sense is absolutely useless against him!" Ben thought incredulously. For every punch he failed to land, a single small scratch tore through his costume and skin. Suddenly Peter appeared before him with his back facing the clone.

"Sorry Ben, I just wanted to kill some time but it's time this match ends." Spider-Man said sheepishly. "Those tears on your costume are from my stingers the venom should be setting in shortly. Alright everyone! End this!" Spider-Man shouted to his team mates. Ben was going to say something before his body suddenly locked up in pain. It wasn't long before he collapsed and fell forward; the last thing he saw was Spider-Man walking away from him. Only one thought rung through the clone's head.

"He's literally untouchable…!"

"SHINKU HADOUKEN!" Ryu roared as he fired the beam at Chun-Li, who simply smirked before somersaulting forward over the entire attack. (LIAG Fun Fact: The Monkey King can somersault over miles.)

"Shit!" Kaine shouted as he barely stepped away in time to dodge the beam. "Watch where the hell you're-"

Kaine barely had the time to look down in shock at the soul sword protruding from his chest before he was instantly knocked unconscious.

Magik looked down at her opponent with a frown.

"Even if I held back, it's obvious that I need to further train my melee ability with mistress." Magik thought as she clenched her blade. "Still I do appreciate the help from my…'team mate'." Magik frowned as she glanced at Chun-Li, who leaned back in order to dodge a powerful Shoryuken.

"[Time to end this. Remember, just like Master Wukong taught…]" Chun-Li thought with a calm face as Spider-Man landed on the roof. Time seemed to slow for Chun-Li as she stepped forward just as Ryu landed and jabbed him hard three times in the left side of his chest with her her right hand before jamming all five fingers into his chest and twisting it, before finally slamming one final palm thrust into the same area. Chun-Li nodded her head when she felt his chi get cut off.

"…Did you just do the-"Spider-Man began with his voice filled with shock.

BGM: END

"The battle is over, let's find Talon." Chun-Li cut him off as she walked away.

"That move actually exists!?" Spider-Man said incredulously before turning to Ryu who had already taken four steps towards them. "Stop! One more step and its game over!" Spidey said seriously. "I'm being serious man, just forfeit." Ryu raised an eyebrow at the perceived threat and took another step. Almost instantly he felt his heart clench painfully before exploding making him lurch forward as blood spilled form his lips. Ryu crashed to his knees and fell forward limply.

Ryu: Dead

Chun-Li vs. Ryu

Magik looked on incredulously as Spider-Man shook his head.

"You fucking did the five point palm exploding heart technique on Ryu!?" Spider-Man said aghast. "I swore that crap was only in that movie Kill Bill."

"[*Sigh* Why the hell did you have to land and see that?]" Chun-Li muttered quietly. She knew damn well it would be a long time before a nerd like Peter ever let her live this down.

Seriously seeing Chun-li do the most famous Kill Bill move ever against Ryu would have people blogging for years.

-With Talon-

The two ferals flipped, snarled, slashed at each other viciously. When their blades parried, neither budged.

"This could literally go on for days; it's time to end this." Talon thought as she pushed her brother back and back flipped away as he regained his footing. Talon crouched and charged straight towards him.

"There! She's left herself open!" Daken realized as he stabbed his Muramasa blade forward towards her heart with the intent to kill. However, before it made contact, Talon smirked.

*SCTHIK!*

"He fell for it!" Talon realized as his blade pierced her shoulder due to her stepping to the side at the last moment. Grabbing his outstretched arm, Talon jumped up and swung her right foot towards his temple.

*SNICKT!*

Talon removed her bloody talon as Daken fell forward to the ground lifelessly.

"You ever notice that Laura always seems has the bloodiest fights?" Spider-Man questioned as he, Chun-Li and Magik walked towards their team mate.

"I can imagine. I never knew just how many different ways you could kill someone until I spent this past year with her." Illyana spoke up. Talon was going to say something when a stunned Rebuff entered the area.

"It's understandable, she can't even get laid without having to replace the sheets from being covered in blood." Chun-Li shrugged.

"What?" Magik questioned in confusion making Spidey turn to her.

"You see, Laura's healing factor works a little too well-"

"Fuck you both." Talon muttered with a glare as Illyana looked at her in disbelief.

"So umm well….this has to be the first time a fight has ever ended in five minutes." Rebuff trailed off awkwardly. "Well since you've won so early you get a special prize." Rebuff answered as she snapped her fingers causing three white packages to appear before the original members of Team Amazing. "Open them later. Blondie doesn't get one because like I said she's more of an asset of Talon's than an actual member, no offense." Rebuff shifted awkwardly a bit before shrugging. "Fuck it, see you all later."

And with that she walked away.

We now find Peter opening his eyes as his team's elevator finally made it to the top of the Alchemax building for their tier seven fight.

"Okay if we win in five minutes we get something special, so let's do this quickly but efficiently and let's not reveal too many of our trump cards just yet." Spider-Man said to his team making them nod. It was then that the elevator opened up and they saw Team Astounding standing on the roof with Rebuff. "Let's do this." Spidey said as his team walked out of the elevator.

-Joan's Apartment: Later that night-

"So what's in the packages?" Joan questioned curiously as she walked back into her living room where the team was sitting.

"I don't know, but it's time we found out." Peter muttered as he opened his box. The first thing he was greeted with was a small card. "You are cordially invited to the Hero's Gauntlet; a small sub tournament where members of the most outstanding teams can go to fight to reclaim something precious that was taken from them." Spider-Man read out loud with a frown.

"What was taken from you?" Chun-Li questioned in confusion making him shrug.

"No idea." Spider-Man muttered as he searched through the box and found an envelope and a black hairband. Spidey looked at it with growing apprehension, he didn't know why but it made him feel as though he had seen it somewhere before. "The hell? Where have I seen this before-"

*Flashback*

Spider-Man was on his knees holding the lifeless form of a young woman with long blonde hair that had a black hairband in it.

"Of all the people I could have possibly failed to save…why her!?" Spider-Man thought with self-loathing as he looked up at the Green Goblin in outrage. "You've killed the woman I love!" Spider-Man roared with anger he had never experienced before. "And for that you're going to die!"

*Flashback: End*

"T-that's impossible. Where the hell did she get this!?" Peter questioned frantically as he tightened his grip on the hairband. "What kind of sick game…" Spider-Man shook his head as he sat the hair band down and tore open the envelope. Inside was a photo that was dated a week ago of the woman he held on that horrible the day, the woman he himself probably sent to her grave, his first true love…

Gwen Stacy.

The photo fell from his hand as he leaned back in his seat. Spidey couldn't even say anything at the moment as millions of question went through his mind. Chun-Li and Talon glanced at each other before opening their own packages, like Peter they got the first card and an envelope but Talon found herself holding an old book while Chun-Li pulled out a small brown backpack.

"Pinocchio?" Talon read the title with wide-eye before tearing through the envelope and pulling out a picture of her mother. Just like Peter's it was dated one week ago. "That's impossible, I killed her myself!"

"Lauren." Chun-Li muttered with a frown as she saw the picture of 's daughter. "[Shit!] How the hell? She was back in my world. Peter, just what are we going to do?

"We don't have a choice, we're going to enter this 'Hero's Gauntlet' and get to the bottom of this." Peter muttered. "Just what the hell is going on?"

Nothing was ever easy for Team Amazing.

"Killing him?" Emma interrupted boredly getting a glare from the young Latina. "He's attempted to send his sister to jail for his own petty self-gain. If he had succeeded he would have condemned a lot of people to a fate worse than death if the Maggia took control, this is bigger than them."

"Cat." Kiden interrupted. "She's right; if I don't get rid of him it'll only do more harm than good in the end. Tyler is trash, end of story. Remember Emma may be a complete and utter cold hearted bitch-"

"Thank you." Emma said dryly.

"You're welcome." Kiden said with a small smirk. "But she's not only smart, but has had to deal with her own share of sibling disputes. This is why I kept her from jail she's helpful in her own way. You think I know the first thing about running a school? Hell no, that's why officially she's headmistress of Laura's school and unofficially my own private tutor."

"You really should have attended school in Utopia when you had the chance; you have a lot of potential." Emma pointed out making her snort.

"And end up like one of your lone daughters? No thank you I like my individuality." Kiden said dryly. "Still Cat, if it wasn't for her there's no telling how quick I would have been taken out by now. I can't wear my emotions on my sleeves in this business." Kiden then pulled out her cell phone and called a number.

["Wazzup?"]

"I transferred the money to your account, Wade. Tyler is chained up in a warehouse behind your club. Get rid of him. Tell him I'll send Elizabeth my condolences later." Kiden said seriously. (LIAG Helpful info: Elizabeth Nixon is Kiden and Tyler's mother.)

["hold on I'm checking my account's now-that's waaaaay too many zeroes for one thug. You sure you didn't forget to carry a one or something in your math?"]

"I need you to also join some of my henchmen to eradicate the Maggia tonight. I want to be in complete control of New York's underground by sunrise."

["You got it boss!"]

"And with that, you've finally earned my respect." Emma mused making Kiden roll her eyes.

"Up yours Frosty." Kiden muttered as she leaned back and gazed out the window. "Dad, I'm sorry things ended up this way and I understand if you hate me now, but believe me if I have to damn myself to hell in order to help the lives of the less fortunate I will."
