The Dying Wish Arc in Cannon and my Untouchable Spider-Man arc are NOT the same thing, in mine the Dying wish had already happened way back in season one when it was revealed that this entire story was a redo of the tournament. This time the conflict was orchestrated by Anansi meaning there was a mind-switch, it's also why Spider-Man's spider sense didn't alert him to the Golden Octobot, because Anansi negated it.
There that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

WTF Fact: Did you know that Talon-2099 might not actually be completely non-cannon? I can't remember which issue of X-Force it was but the idea came to mean when some strange woman appeared to Laura. She seemed to know a lot about the feral and I assumed it was a future version of her. Not sure if they ever explained who the woman was.

Chapter 29: Hero's Gauntlet (Alternate Titles: Dedication of a Servant, The Black Reaper, Spider-Man vs. The World, Don't fuck with Chun-Li, or A father's love.)
-Abandoned Warehouse-
"This is the place right?" Chun-Li asked as her team walked into the warehouse. Spider-Man nodded his head as he looked at the card.
"Yup. This is where it says to go."
"I don't like the feeling of this." Talon muttered as Magik nodded her head in agreement.
"The atmosphere blatantly screams trap." The blonde muttered as she clenched the Soulsword tightly in her hand. It was then that they heard the sound of someone clapping and looked up to find Rebuff approaching them as she applauded.
"I must say I'm glad that you accepted." Rebuff smiled.
"Enough talk, where is Lauren?" Chun-Li bit out making the announcer raise an eyebrow.
"Calm down, your prizes are all safe and sound." Rebuff tried to reassure her before crossing her arms. "To retrieve those important to you, you all need to pass the Hero's Gauntlet."
"And what exactly does that consist of?" Talon questioned with narrowed eyes making the woman smile.
"Two hundred and fifty non-stop battles against other teams with various combinations in timed battles that all have their own win requirements without getting hit one time." Rebuff explained making them all gape at her.
"What the fuck!?" Thatseemed to be the shared thought amongst Team Amazing.
"…At least that was the plan, but you guys took too long getting here and one of the teams got bored and just decided to complete it themselves." Rebuff said sheepishly.
"We are five minutes late." Magik deadpanned. "We would have been here sooner if Spider-Man didn't decide to run down to his lab for a bit." Spider-Man chuckled sheepishly at that.
"Well…shit happens, so now the situation is that you have to defeat the team that passed the Gauntlet." Rebuff revealed making the women of Team Amazing tense as they tried to picture what kind of monsters they were going to have to face. "So how about it? Would you like to face Team Armageddon?"
Well the team name sure as hell didn't help.
"What are the conditions?" Talon finally asked making Rebuff smirk.
"Simple, no one dies permanently and you will not be kicked from the tournament if you lose." Rebuff stated before narrowing her eyes. "But you will be sent back to Tier one should you fail to defeat them." Now this made them pause as they thought about how much crap they had went through in order to get as far as they did.
A tense moment passed before Spider-Man sighed.
"Hey we made it this far once, if we lose we can do it again but we won't get another chance to save them. I say go for it." Spider-Man said as the rest thought his words over.
"You do have a point, besides if something happened to Viper's daughter because I was afraid of losing something like a ranking then I'd be nothing but a coward." Chun-Li said before narrowing her eyes. "And I am not a coward."
"I'll go along with whatever mistress decides." Illyana said with a half-hearted shrug making them turn to a frowning Talon.
"Jubilee and I have finally set a date for the wedding…"Talon trailed off as determination burned in her eyes. "I would like it if my mother could be there." Spider-Man nodded with a visible smile behind his mask before turning to Rebuff.
"Well then, I guess were going for it." Spider-Man said making her grin.
"Great! By the way this will not be broadcasted, so you can go all out if you want." Rebuff said making them look at her in confusion. "Oh please anyone with common sense can tell you were holding back in your last match." Rebuff drawled as she rolled her eyes. "Now let's get started. The first member of Team Armageddon is…"
Augus
Both Talon and Spider-Man looked up in morbid fascination as the man who trained Asura appeared in the room.
"Well, shit just got real." Spider-Man deadpanned. "Not it."
"Not it." Talon added quickly after.
"I guess I'm not either." Magik shrugged since she figured she was sticking with Talon. Chun-Li just stared at them for a moment before turning back to the man who radiated nothing but pure power. Sighing she turned back to her team and gave them the one finger salute with both hands as she stared at them with half-lidded eyes.
"I can't wait for karma to come and bite you all in the ass." Chun-Li muttered before hanging her head.
"Chun-Li has Augus then." Rebuff said with a smile before continuing. "Next up on Team Armageddon is…"
Gaea
"Dibs." Spider-Man spoke up suddenly sending a chill down Talon's spine. Spider-Man had told them about what happened the night before their team split, and if he was willing to fight the Earth itself just who the hell was she stuck with!?
"I hope you prove my faith in you is not misplaced." The Elder God said to Spider-Man who shrugged.
"While I can't say for sure that I'm better than Anansi I still kicked Zeus' ass." Spider-Man pointed out making Gaea sigh.
"Alright, Spider-Man vs. The World…and he's doing it for his Ex…can I call you Scott?" Rebuff asked curiously. (LIAG Helpful Info: Look at Scott Pilgrim vs. The World)
"Please don't." Spider-Man begged making her shrug.
"Guess that leaves Talon and Magik against…" Rebuff trailed off as one final flash occurred.
Galacta!
"I should have taken Augus." Talon muttered as she buried her face in her hands. Chun-Li had an over powered swordsman, Spider-Man was fighting an entire world, but she gets stuck with the damn World Eater that she was sure knew all of her moves.
"Hey Laura!" Gali greeted with a smile. "I've been training with Daddy for the past year so I hope you're ready!" Gali said enthusiastically as she pounded her fist in her hand creating a small shockwave that made everyone stumbled a bit. "Oops"
"Mistress…are…are you crying?" Magik asked perturbed.
"Seeing as this fight will cause collateral damage I can't even fathom, I've taken it upon myself to create a replica of Earth and the Moon for you to fight on. I've also taken it upon myself to make the moon habitable so don't worry about suffocating or freezing." Rebuff continued before turning to Gaea. "You also have as much control over the fake Earth as you do this one. You will fight Spider-Man on the Earth. Augus and Chun-Li will be on the moon, and Galacta will fight Talon in Deep space within her own little realm. Okay now that everything is settled, let's get this shit started!" Rebuff sheered.
And with that they all vanished.
-Chun-Li vs. Augus-
Chun-Li frowned as she looked at her surroundings before her eyes widened slightly when a screen appeared projecting an image of a terrified Lauren.
"[You sure you know what you're getting in to little girl?]" Augus questioned as he hefted his blade on his shoulder. "[Surely you feel my power?]"
"[Am I flinching?]" Chun-Li drawled lazily before glancing towards the screen that showed a fearful Lauren looking at the scene as tears fell down her face. "Oi quit crying." Chun-Li said simply but firmly. "You're your mother's daughter right? Then act like it and be strong. I guarantee you'll be with your mom when everything is done here."
"[Don't make promises you can't keep. Many men have fallen to this blade]" Augus trailed off as he lazily hoisted the blade onto his shoulder. The two held each other's stare before the man smirked. Chun-Li narrowed her eyes before shooting her hand out towards him
"[Monkey's Palm!] " Augus raised an eyebrow as the saw an invisible force rip through the ground from in front of her hand and slam in to him. Chun-Li frowned slightly when she noticed he didn't even look remotely fazed.
"[I almost felt that, impressive.]" Augus complimented as Chun-LI took a step back and slid into a fighting stance.
"[Even Master couldn't shrug that off. Just what the hell am I about to fight!?]" Chun-Li wondered in astonishment.
-Spider-Man vs. Gaea-
Spider-Man stood in a large open plain and crossed his arms as he stared at Gaea.
"A copy of Earth was created just for our fight?" Spider-Man began skeptically. "Don't you think that is a bit much?"
"Not at all." Gaea denied as she shook her head. "After all, I am technically the battlefield." Gaea reminded him, making the web-head pause as he realized that he was talking to Earth itself, which pretty much meant she had absolute control over his surroundings.
"Well fuck me."
"Perhaps at a later time."
-Talon & Magik vs. Galacta-
"Galactus had a damn daughter!?" Magik repeated in disbelief as the cosmic entity floated in front of her and her mistress. "Better, yet how in the hell do you know her mistress?"
"I'm her daughter's Godmother." Talon answered as if that answered all of the blonde's questions; when all it truly did was create countless more. "Gali, I just want my mother. Please just surrender." Talon pleaded making Galacta sigh before holding up three fingers.
"I want to, but there are three things stopping me from doing that." Gali began confusing them greatly. "Daddy has tolerated a lot from me and my feelings towards Earth, but if I even think of surrendering to 'food' even I won't be able to stop him from tearing Earth apart for 'weakening his legacy'."
"He's been stopped before." Talon challenged making the woman shake her head.
"Yes but this won't be the same. There will be no preparation or goal for him to achieve, hell, he won't even attempt to consume Earth. He'll just show up to Earth unannounced one day and blow it up before continuing his day. He'll probably whistle a small tune as he does it." Gali said dryly.
*ROOOOOAARRRRRRR*
Magik and Talon held their ears as the ground shook from the large noise.
"Second reason…" Gali began with a small blush as she held her stomach. "I'm hungry, and when I get hungry I get aggressive. Hopefully you two can at least distract me from my hunger because I know you can't beat me."
"Don't be arrogant-"Magik was cut off when she suddenly felt a hand grabbing the top of her head tightly. Illyana gritted her teeth as she was forced to turn around and meet Gali's perplexed expression.
"You are nothing but fifteen Giga calories of food, just how do you expect to beat me oh herald of my herald?" Gali inquired before releasing her grip and flicking the blonde on her forehead sending the mutant crashing away.
"So what's the third reason?" Talon questioned with a frown as she watched her servant land flat on her back.
"Now that…you'll just have to find out if by some miracle you manage to defeat me." Galacta said with a smile before steeling her expression as Illyana struggled to her feet. "You've grown powerful Laura but you are simply no match for me alone. Both of you come show me your power. Fight smart, because one misstep means your death." Galacta raised an eyebrow when neither of them moved to attack her. "What? Don't say you're afraid to fight me." Gali questioned making Talon shake her head.
"There is only one woman I'm even close to fearing to fight…"
-With Chun-Li-
…And you are not her.
BGM: The Hangman- D.R.U.G.S
Chun-Li descended with a powerful heel drop, but her legs was grabbed tightly by Augus whom proceeded to throw her away sending her crashing flying through the mountains of moon rock.
"[D-damn!]" Chun-Li thought with a wince as she recovered and flipped to her feet. She slid back a few more feet before finally stopping. Wasting no time, Chun-Li slammed her right foot into the ground as a pulse of chi ripped from her body. "Chou Ryu Kyaku!" Chun-Li glared at the man as the Chinese dragon encircled her body. Instantly Chun-Li blasted forward, destroying the ground as she did so, and delivered a powerful roundhouse kick to the side of Augus' head that didn't make him budge at all. The dragon roared as an explosion of chi ripped from her foot which then made him stumble to the side. A bead of sweat slid down Chun-Li's face before she gritted her teeth and released the attack at point blank range.
*ROOOOOOOOARRR*
*BOOOOOOM!*
Augus was engulfed by a large golden dragon as Chun-Li back flipped away and landed in a crouch before glaring back up at her opponent who was pushed back by the attack but otherwise looked completely unharmed.
"[Is that it?]" Augus wondered out loud.
"[His eyes didn't even close! He saw my attack through until the end! Just what the hell am I fighting!?]" Chun-Li wondered as a feeling of dread began to course through her when Augus suddenly left her field of vision.
"[Don't let your opponent dictate the battle.]" Augus stated as he stood next to her, not even glancing in her direction before slamming a powerful blow into the woman sending her crashing through the battlefield. Chun-Li's body rag dolled as she crashed into the ground.
"[This is insane; he hasn't even drawn his blade yet hell he doesn't even blink when I attack him-wait a second…]" Chun-Li thought with a frown as she recalled the completely one-sided battle so far as she shakily stood up. It didn't matter how strong you were, if an unknown attack shining as bright as hers did was released that close to your face, not blinking was impossible. She allowed her jaw to drop slightly as realization dawned on her. "[You're…you're blind aren't you?]" Chun-Li questioned making Augus smirk.
"Oh? Just realized that? Ha! What? You feel sorry for hitting an old blind man? HAHA!" Augus laughed as Chun-Li crossed her arms in front of her with a small grin.
"[I'm sorry alright…sorry that I didn't come at you with everything from the start…an opponent that will never blink at my attacks? Now that's interesting.]" Chun-Li muttered as the ground trembled and cracked as she called upon the same power she used to face down the demonic Talon.
"[Oh?]" Augus questioned curiously as he place a hand on the hilt of his katana while Chun-Li released a long steadying breath. Augus grinned at the power he felt flowing from her. The woman snapped her eyes open reveling them to be glowing white not unlike his eyes as she gritted her teeth
"[Serenity: Achieved.]" Chun-Li muttered quietly as a feeling of both calmness and wrath flowed throughout the battlefield. Augus' grin grew wider as he unsheathed his blade.
"[AHAHAHA! You might be more entertaining than I thought!]" Augus boomed as he stabbed the katana forward towards Chun-Li before the blade extended towards her at unfathomable speeds.
*BOOOOM!*
Augus' muscles tensed when he realized that his blade had completely missed. His head snapped up suddenly when he heard the powerful cry of an eagle. Above him a large eagle with glowing eyes descended upon him at breakneck speeds.
*SLASH!*
Augus grunted slightly in pain as ten moderately deep cuts appeared on his chest as Chun-Li crouched on the ground behind him with her back towards him with her hands clenched like claws.
["Eagle Drop!"] Chun-Li muttered before smirking as blood dripped from her nails. "[So you can bleed. Get ready, the real fight starts now.]"
Augus simply grinned.

-With Spider-Man-
Both Spider-Man and Gaea looked up and saw a large explosion erupt on the surface of the partially visible moon.
"Looks like our teammates have begun, let us finish this quickly." Gaea stated as Spider-Man lowered into a crouching stance. Spider-Man chuckled as he looked at the peaceful grassland that surrounded them.
"You know this place doesn't really seem fit for a battle ground you know?" Spider- Quipped making Gaea smile.
"I can easily fix that." The goddess said as she raised her foot a few inches off of the ground. "Quake."
"Shit." Spider-Man muttered as he leapt into the air and faded away just as her foot gently touched the ground.
-Space-
*BOOOOOOOM*
A large ripple course throughout the entire planet completely and utterly decimating the surface.
-Ground-zero-
Gaea stood alone in a large crater, the entire planet become one large waste land as lava pooled to the surface.

"Dear God…" Spider-Man whispered quietly at the display of power when he reappeared behind her. Gaea was easily the most dangerous opponent he had ever had. "This is not just her home turf…this IS her…still I can't lose." Spider-Man thought with resolve before slamming his fist into the side of her head, however she didn't so much as blink as the ground shattered from the force of his blow.
"Do you understand now little weaver? I am an Elder God and mother of Earth, to fight me would be to fight the very planet itself. Not even my wisest son could defeat me." Gaea said as she referred to Anansi. "It is foolish to fight me, especially on behalf of some young woman who betrayed you for your worst enemy."
"That may be, but Great Weavers have a tendency to be a bit foolish don'tcha know." Spidey quipped before back flipping as two spikes of earth ripped up from the ground just barely missing him.
"Then so be it." Gaea said before snapping her fingers sending Spider-Man crashing to his hands and knees as the planet's gravity suddenly intensified to unimaginable levels. "Insects are annoying to kill, but when you remove their speed they are completely helpless."
"T-that's true…but you forgot one t-thing." Spider-Man grunted.
"Oh? And what's that?" Gaea questioned curiously as she finally glanced back to look at him.
"Spiders are Arachnids!" Spidey shouted as he suddenly blasted forward, making her eyes widen slightly before he slammed his fist towards her face. Just as his fist made contact, however, she suddenly transfigured into a group of thorn covered vines that shot towards him at blinding speeds from all angles. Spider-Man teleported just out their reach, only to find himself surrounded by five twisters.
-Miles away-
Gaea narrowed her eyes towards the twisters that she could see from the distance before raising her right hand causing the earth around them to rise up and form a colossal volcano. Snapping her fingers, it erupted sending a large torrent of lava firing hundreds of feet into the sky.
"He unknowingly tapped into Nemesis' power just then…" Gaea thought with a frown before turning into air just as Spider-Man's stinger ripped through her body. "You just don't understand do you? You can't defeat me. Give up."
"Wow…you really must not know who I am." Spider-Man said with a tired laugh before sliding back into his fighting stance. "You see, I've already seen the all of the possible outcomes and there is only one where I win. So you can bet your ass that I'll make that ending the reality. I have this entire fight planned out." Gaea narrowed her eyes at him as he spoke.
"Your friends are separated and you alone do not have the power to defeat an Elder God. I'll call your bluff." Gaea said before floating above Spider-Man and solidifying.
"Robyn Initiate the Armageddon Protocol." Spider-Man muttered as he gazed up at Gaea.
["But Mister Spider-Man you said that was an absolute last resort-"]
"I know but it's necessary to win this fight, remember this Earth is completely empty." Spider-Man said seriously.
["…Understood. Armageddon protocol: Initiated…self-destruct…one percent"] Spider-Man's suit began releasing erratic red sparks of energy.
"What are you planning?" Gaea murmured before shrugging.
"That's for me to know and for you to be amazed by later." Spider-Man quipped as he raised his shirt and pulled out a small metallic rectangle from his belt. Spider-Man pressed a button on the object's surface causing it to levitate from his hand and fly off into the sky.
"Doesn't matter; It's about time I stopped holding back. Feel the wrath of Earth." Gaea said before she simply fell from the air and dove into the ground as if it were made of water. Spider-Man bit back a curse as he felt the ground shift.
It looked like he really was about to fight Earth.

An armored Magik descended upon Galacta with her soulsword raised high as she glared at the world eater.
"Oh?" Galacta mused as Magik brought the blade down.
*BOOOOOOOOOM*
An invisible burst of energy sent the blonde mutant flying back as an ascended Talon landed behind Galacta with a glare. Throwing her head, back Talon released a vicious roar that slammed straight into the world eater. Once the shock wave died down, a completely unfazed Galacta clenched her fist tightly before slamming it into Talon's stomach.
*CRUNCH*
Talon howled in pain as she was sent flying away as a multitude of bright blue cracks appeared on her torso. Galacta teleported and caught the still air born Magik by her neck as Talon recovered and landed on all fours.
"So you want to fight me over someone from your past?" Galacta murmured before narrowing her eyes slightly. "Fine, if the past matters that much to you then be prepared to face yours." Talon was confused for a second before her eyes widened in shock as the blue ethereal forms of Felicia, Kimura, Ameterasu, Kiden, Reaper, Jubilee, and Daken landed in front of Galacta before instantly speed blitzing her. Talon narrowed her eyes when she noticed that they looked the same as they had when she faced them in the tournament. She didn't ponder too much about it though, for her current goal was to free Magik.
"Weapon X: Alpha." Talon growled out as she charged her incoming opponents wither talons drawn. She slammed her right pair into Felicia's face, before spinning around and beheading Kimura with her Muramasa blade. Keeping her momentum she blasted forward and completely tanked a powerful slash from Ameterasu's blade before slamming her right foot blade through the bottom the goddess' mouth causing it to exit through the top of her head. She managed to make eye contact with Kiden and narrowed her eyes when she noticed Kiden opening her mouth.
"St-"
*CRASH!*
The ethereal copy was unprepared for Talon to teleport behind her slamming her talons through her mid-section as she did so. Talon growled as she spun around a released a paralyzing roar that caused Reaper, Jubilee, and Daken to freeze up. Three black tendrils erupted from the ascended feral's body and stabbed into their stomachs as her gem shone brightly. With a small grunt, Talon reaped their fake souls from their body and lit them aflame. Galacta smirked as the fake opponents shattered like fragil glass causing blue particles of light to float around the feral.
"I remember a time when you would have struggled against the first copy by itself…you have grown. Still that was surprisingly ruthless, how did you know they were puppets and I didn't just pluck them from the time line to torment you?" Galacta mused as Talon's eyes narrowed.
BGM: END
"You're a better person than that." Talon said truthfully. "You're testing me; I don't know what you're trying to find in me but that much is obvious." Talon explained before snapping her fingers, making Magik suddenly become engulfed by fire. Galacta grimaced as she was forced to release the mutant due to the magical flames. The fire died down quickly, and a heavily burned Illyana teleported next to Talon with a grimace.
"Did you really have to set me on fire?" Magik muttered as a black tendril stabbed into her stomach causing her wounds to begin healing.
"She let you go didn't she?" Talon drawled before glaring up at Galacta. "She has too much of an advantage here, she could have killed us both many times by now."
"So what do you want to do?" The blonde questioned as she kept her gaze on the world eater.
"Take her to my castle." Talon muttered making Magik smirk as she spun her soul blade in her hand before tightly grasping the hilt and slamming the blade into the ground. Gali frowned when a large yellow circle of magic appeared underneath them.
"Yes, mistress." Magik said before they all vanished into the ground, leaving no one in the battlefield.

The ground trembled and cracked as Chun-Li and Augus held each other's arms in a mighty grapple, both attempting to overpower the other.
"[Tell me! What is it that you truly fight for! What is it that gives you this drive!]" Augus shouted enthusiastically as Chun-Li glared back up at him.
"[I fight…to protect those important to me!]" Chun-Li declared as her power continued pour from her.
"[That makes you weak!]" Augus shouted as a golden halo appeared behind him causing Chun-Li to feel as though she were suffocated by his power. Chun-Li was soon forced down to her right knee.
"[But that's not all!]" Chun-Li continued. "[I can no longer deny how much I truly love fighting and so while I do fight for others, I also fight to win!] "Chun-Li continued as she regained her footing. "[There is one who exists that I want to fight above all others! The perfect opponent that will help me answer just my place is in this world…and you are in my way!]" Chun-Li shouted before slamming her foot down into the ground, creating a crater in the process.
*BOOOOM*
"Chou-Ryu Kyaku…" Chun-Li began has her right foot began to glow, once again feeling her bod with power. "[…Times two!]"
"[What!?]" Augus demanded as he felt the woman's power continue to rise as she glared deep into his eyes.
"Chou Ryu ken…" Chun-Li continued as her right fist was imbued with the same power she used to bring the demonic Talon long ago. "[Times two!]" Augus gritted his teeth as he felt himself being pushed back as the woman had four ethereal dragons spiraling around her body. Chun-Li suddenly began shouting as they slowly faded back into her body. Augus was confused until he felt the attacks merging with her body.
"[She's adding the power back to herself!]"
*KRACK-BOOOM*
A large yellow bolt of pure chi suddenly struck her body like lightning and soon her white eyes and aura were both now flaring an intense gold as golden sparks of energy sparked around her.
"[I'll never lose again!]" Chun-Li roared as she lifted the surprised man off of his feet and began to spin around while closing her eyes. "Yin…" Chun-Li began as she slowly spun him around one time as she began building momentum, Augus grunted in pain as a black bolt of lightning slammed into him. "Yang…" Chun-Li continued as she spun around faster while trying to balance the light and dark aspects of her chi, this time a white bolt of lightning hit Augus. Chun-Li snapped her eyes opened when she achieved a perfect balance between the two. "Wuji!" Chun-Li roared judo slamming him into the ground. As soon as he made contact a crimson bolt of lightning slammed into them, engulfing them in a large crimson explosion.
*BOOOOOOM!*
From a distance it looked as though a crimson dome of destruction was decimating the moons as it grew and annihilated everything in its path. Far away the once blue orb of Earth was now pitch-black with magma replacing the water.

Slowly the planet of Earth began to morph into a shape that resembled a humanoid woman.

"[95% Mr. Spider-Man. Are you sure you want to do this?]" Robyn asked sadly as Spider-Man web-zipped and maneuvered around erupting geysers of magma as the planet began to end before his very eyes.
"Yes, it's the only way. I mean we're facing down Earth itself." Spider-Man said as he suddenly back flipped while large earthly spikes shot up in front of him.
"Give up Spider-Man. You have proven yourself to be just as skilled as your predecessor, but even he couldn't defeat me. There is no shame in surrendering…her life isn't worth all of this." Gaea's voice rung from every direction as the magma began to eat away at the remainder of the earth's surface.
["Mr. Spider-Man there is a ninety-nine percent chance that this woman doesn't know who she's talking to! Shut her up for justice! Self-destruct 100% complete."]
"You're right! Gwen isn't worth all of this!" Spider-Man shouted.
"So you are finally seeing reason unlike your predecessor. No woman is worth the life of the great weaver-"
"She's worth so much more than this! I will do everything in my power to make sure she makes it out of this alive!" Spider-Man interrupted.
"Foolish Spider, you can't save everyone!"
"I can damn well try!" Spider-Man shouted finally fed up with people calling him out on his hero complex. "If I don't at least try, then what's the point of there being a Spider-Man in the first place!?"
"…Fine have it your way…I expected more from you child." Gaea said with her voice laced with disappointment.
"Now Robyn!" Spider-Man shouted as a pulse of energy was released from his suit as it sparked erratically.
"WHAT!?"
Spider-Man closed his eyes as he felt his suit explode, ripping his body asunder.

The fighter stood tiredly in a large crater as she gazed up at the Earth. Chun-Li's eyes snapped open in shock as the entire planet was engulfed in crimson light.
*FABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*
"[W-what?]" Chun-Li stuttered out in shock as the entire planet was wiped from existence once the light died down. The fighter fell to her knees as she gaped at the sight.
-With Chun-Li-
*Rip*
Blinking in confusion, Chun-Li turned around looked on in confusion as she noticed a cocoon of web sitting on the edge of the crater. Blood was pouring from it as a hand ripped free. The hand was shortly followed by another as Peter freed himself from the web prison. The now completely naked hero cracked his neck before leaping down next to her.
"What the hell?" Chun-Li finally asked after a moment.
"Great Weaver's get one freebie from death, and we don't have to worry about making another Other." Peter shrugged. "I was facing Earth itself so I just decided to nuke the planet, I doubt Gaea died but I removed her advantage if anything." It was then that Peter noticed Chun-Li's current stated and face-palmed. "Please tell me you didn't just go Super Sa-"
"Don't say it." Chun-Li warned as she narrowed her eyes. Peter shrugged and crossed his arms behind his head. "Put some clothes on."
"You know you lie what you see." Peter teased making her roll her eyes. "By the way, we still need to talk about you confessing your undying love to me when I was in Ock's body." Peter stated making her raise an eyebrow.
"Really…you're bringing that up now? You just blew up Earth! Plus you're naked!" Chun-Li shouted incredulously. "How the hell did you even do that anyway?" Peter smirked as he raised a hand as the same rectangular container he shot off in to the sky earlier made it to his position in the moon.
"A long time ago Valeria told me about a design flaw in my suit. She said that as soon as my Spider-sense went off my head would blow up due to the wiring…she's was right and wrong." Peter began as a second costume freed itself from the container and covered him. "When I went to fix it, I realized that I had underestimated how much power it was running on-it was basically a doomsday device- but I couldn't fix it so I just scrapped it and made a new one." Peter shrugged.
"Then before we entered this gauntlet you realized that you were facing Gaea and put that suit on instead while keeping your real one in the container?" Chun-Li guessed making Spidey nod.
"Yup! I gotta say; I never expected that I would be the one to blow up the damn planet, but at least I finally managed to get rid of that dangerous thing." Spider-Man grumbled. It was then that a heavily damaged Gaea appeared before him and fell to her knees as she glared up at him.
"Y-you…b-bastard…you actually made me explode?"
"Just walk it off sport." Spider-Man quipped as she fell back and panted tiredly.
"You actually defeated me…you went through all of that for one woman…just tell me why?" Gaea asked weakly.
"You have many children, but have you ever really loved before?" Spider-Man questioned curiously. "That raw emotion will make you do anything for those you care about. I would have done the same thing if it were any of the other people I care about whether it was Chun-Li…" Spider-Man began making the fighter shake her head with a small smile. "…or hell, even you." Spider-Man finished making her eyes widen slightly as he kneeled before her and placed a hand under her chin. "It's a mortal thing." Spidey explained as his mask peeled back allowing her to see the man smiling at her. Gaea shook her head and closed her eyes with a small smile.
"You win child."

Gali frowned as she found herself in what appeared to be the throne room of a large white castle surrounded by suits of armor as Talon stood up from the throne as and stared down at her impassively as Illyana-who had now transformed into Darkchilde- kneeled next to her.
"Now we can fight on even ground." Talon stated as Gali glanced at her surroundings.
"Just where are we and who are these people."
"We're in my realm. It's a mixture between Mephisto's old one and Limbo though we did make some renovations to make it a bit more appealing. As for whom they are, they are former demons who are now my soldiers, every demon here has a place in this kingdom."
"Oh really? Then what about her?" Galacta questioned as she pointed at Darkchilde. She was inwardly surprised when Talon smirked almost as if she was waiting for her to ask. "I can't forget that somewhere in her soul Selene is there as well she is bound to have a few of her old tendencies."
"She's the one who is allowed to hold my sword." Gali watched in disbelief as Darkchilde handed Talon her soulsword, causing her armor to reappear on the ascended feral further increasing her already amazing defensive capabilities. "Now let's begin." The Black Queen, Talon leapt toward her with the blade clenched tightly in her right hand.
"Shit!" Gali thought as she ducked under wide slash and fired two cosmic beams from her eyes and into the feral. The attacks we're completely shrugged off as Talon continued her assault as their audience cheered for their queen. "My cosmic shield can't protect my body or sole completely from her anymore. Still even though I have been watching over her to think I could miss her owning the Soulsword…she must have gotten it when she enslaved Illyana."
"In a world where our powers are equal, it purely comes down to who is more skilled. Despite how much I respect you…you stand no chance against me. On even ground you're just a young woman with a powerful father." Gali grimaced as she realized the truth in the ferals words.
"Cosmic Carnival!" Gali shouted as power concentrated beams of cosmic energy fired from her fingertips. She sliced at the feral viciously.
*BZZZZ*
Talon narrowed her eyes as she raised an armored hand to block the beams as she dashed towards her cosmic master. Gali jumped back just as Talon appeared before her with a vicious swing of the soul blade. Talon wasn't deterred by the miss at all as she used the momentum to do a complete 360 degree spin and hurled the soulsword at Gali.
"Wild…Reaper." Gali shouted in pain as the blade ripped through her body, without physically cutting her. A black tendril ripped from Talon's wrist and caught the blade. With I mighty pull, Talon ripped the blade right back through Gali before stepping forward and slashing Gali across the chest with her Muramasa blade. Gali held her chest in pain as purple energy began leaking from the wound. Gali's eyes widened when she felt something wet land on her face and looked up in shock when she noticed Talon was crying slightly.
"…She really doesn't want to fight me but she has to for her mother. Her resolve to save her mother is unwavering even as she tears through both my body and soul," Gali's eyes closed as she let a small smile grace her lips. "I hope Gala can be as strong as you." Gali thought as more and more purple slashes appeared on her body as Talon continued her assault. "Still I wonder…if my death was permanent, would you still be able to strike the final blow?" Gali wondered before her body went limp as Talon used her clawed hand to rip Gali's soul from her body.

Talon suddenly frowned when Gali exploded in a pillar of purple light causing he realm to shake and tremble. She watched in confusion as Gali's body stood up.
HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER: WORLD EATER GALACTA!
Gali's eyes snapped open with a glare before she released a tremendous spike of energy and ripped through the very realm itself and escaped.
"Mistress! What just happened!? Where did that power come from!?" Darkchilde asked incredulously. Talon was confused until realization hit her like the hammer of Thor.
"Gali always holds back because she fears her power, since I removed her soul her body can now go on a rampage to attempt to feed her hunger. We have to get back to the other's there is only one place she can satiate that hunger now!" Talon shouted as she handed the Soulsword back to Darkchilde, causing the armor to switch from her to the blonde.
-With Spider-Man and Chun-Li-
Spider-Man and Chun-Li stopped their conversation the masked hero suddenly face-palmed just as Talon and Darkchilde teleported into the area.
"Damn it Laura…" Spidey muttered as the two mutants ran towards them.
"Good we made it here before-"Talon was caught off by an earth shattering roar.
"RAHHHHHHHHH!" Gali roared before slamming into the moon, sending the four heroes crashing away…well three, Spidey just sort of flipped away.
"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO LAURA!?" Chun-Li shouted incredulously as she and her team turned to see a salivating Galacta holding up the downed Gaea by her neck.
"We were fighting and removed her soul in order to effectively end the fight." Talon explained as Spider-Man sighed.
"You mean the only thing that was keeping her from becoming just like her father with a berserker rage?" Spider-Man questioned curiously. "Laura, I love you, but what part of that seemed like a good idea?"
"Well excuse me for not knowing the physiology of World Eaters! Taking the soul from the body has been taking down everyone I've faced pretty efficiently for the past year!" Talon bit out in annoyance. "Let's not forget that of the three opponents, I was facing the strongest one so forgive me if I tried to end it quickly!" It was then that Talon took a good look at Chun-Li, the annoyance on her pitch black face suddenly shifted into an expression of bemusement. "Did you actually turn into a super-"
"[I swear to God I will end you if you finish that sentence.]" Chun-Li muttered with a glare as her power flared.
"Uh guys…" Spider-Man began hesitantly
"That actually sounds a bit fun." Talon challenged as her talons slowly slid out.
"Guys!" Spider-Man shouted.
"WHAT!?" Chun-Li and Talon shouted at their leader.
"She's eating Gaea." Spider-Man deadpanned and the women looked up to see Gaea's life force being sucked from her body and into Gali's mouth. The more energy that went into her body, the larger she grew. Galacta threw down the empty shell of the Elder God and stood hundreds of feet above them. Talon, Chun-Li, and Darkchilde all took a step back when they felt the power radiating from the World Eater whom had devoured its first world. Spider-Man crossed his arms as his mask peeled back, he gazed up at her for a bit before smirking when he saw time come to a stand-still around his team.
"I was wondering what was taking you so long." Peter mused as his team looked around their frozen surroundings in confusion.
"Hmph, you dare speak to me as though we're equals but I shall not deny either your wisdom or power…" A voice began as they all turned to find a human sized Galactus standing behind them. "Perhaps I shall make you a herald."
"No thank you, I have enough on my plate as it is." Peter declined.
"Galactus…" Talon trailed off as she gazed at the powerful World Eater.
"Galacta has grown strong; even now it's hard to manipulate this area with her power fighting against mine." Galactus began. "I shall make this brief. To defeat her you must allow her hunger to weaken her. In order to do that you need to separate the energy she's absorbed from her body and then destroy the body. You will all probably die but I figured you will have at least a fighting chance."
"Why are you telling us how to defeat her? Isn't this what you want?" Talon asked with narrowed eyes.
"The herald of my daughter dares to question Galactus-"
"-It's because he loves her, isn't that right?" Peter questioned as his eyes were replaced by golden flames making his team turn to him in confusion. "Galactus is not evil; on the contrary, he's a natural disaster that happens to be the only thing keeping us alive. Tell me am I in the ball park?" Peter questioned making the World Eater clench his fist angrily.
"You dare-"
"You're damn right I dare. It's called a father's love Galactus, it doesn't make you weak, in fact my respect for you has risen." Peter said simply making the being pause.
"What are you talking about?"
"Abraxas." Peter said making Galactus sneer. "A cosmic entity that sole purpose is the destruction of everything, Abraxas is powerful and is only held back by Galactus' presence. This is literally the only reason he exists." (LIAG Fun Fact: Cannon)
"Silence!" Galactus boomed.
"He exists for one reason; preventing Abraxas from destroying everything, for countless years he's been alone his sole purpose to protect the universe. A sad lonely life, and that loneliness was suffocating wasn't it Galactus?" Peter asked staring at the World Eater as if he could see right through him. "Nemesis couldn't handle it so I don't think any less of you…but eventually a miracle happened to our World Eating friend here. Galacta was born and suddenly the loneliness disappeared. Oh sure you played the part of the estranged father for a bit, but you always had an eye out for her didn't you?" Peter asked making Galactus grit his teeth.
"How…how do you know all of this?" Chun-Li questioned making Peter give her a wry smile.
"I made it my job to know, ever since May re-entered my life with her siblings you can be damned well I made sure to know about anything that could threatened my kids." Peter said firmly. "Galactus never wanted Galacta to be like him, he wanted her not to hate what she was…to accept that one day she might have to destroy the planet she loves the most in order to preserve the universe. Galactus you don't know how lucky you are." Peter said knowingly. "Countless worlds lost to Abraxas because you died, but unlike them you have a legitimate heir. Should you fall she can take after you, her ability to feel for every living creature will make her better than you and that's all you want; the best for your little girl."
"That doesn't explain why he wants us to defeat her." Darkchilde spoke up.
"Simple, to prove to her that she can be defeated…that if she becomes the monster she thinks he is; she can be stopped. He wants her to be able to sleep after she realizes what she's done today." Peter said before chuckling. "If I didn't know better I'd say he himself was actually relieved when he was first defeated. Isn't that right?" Peter questioned but Galactus had already disappeared.
"Peter…just how far did you plan in this fight, you didn't budge to save Gaea but I know you would have seen that coming." Talon said making Peter sigh.
"No one truly dies in this fight so I let Galacta get a taste of devouring a planet." Peter said truthfully. "Because if Galactus does fall one day, I want someone to be there that can hold off Abraxas so that my children can live on happily."
"…Is this the real reason you entered this Gauntlet?" Chun-Li asked quietly.
"All of us entered this thing for our own reasons. One thing the Ero part of me had accepted was that people will always die. I failed to save Gwen and though I am saddened immensely, I am at peace with it. If I can still save my children whom have just begun life…" Peter said before gazing at Chun-Li and Talon knowingly. "…Or not have not been conceived yet, well that's something truly worth fighting for. Though saving Gwen would be a great bonus." It was at this moment that the original members of Team Amazing finally understood; this wasn't the same Peter they had first known who hid his fear and insecurities behind a goofy façade.

The only thing hidden underneath the façade now was a multitude of far reaching plans that they couldn't even comprehend.
"So what's the plan, oh fearless leader?" Chun-Li questioned with a smirk as time resumed. Peter smirked as he placed a hand on his face and began walking towards the berserk World Eater with Talon and Chun-Li flanking him.
"Galactus, though he wants us to win, is still completely skeptical of our power." Peter said as his began to cause a steam to come from his face.
"So he's a non-believer. That means we have to do the usual then." Talon muttered as Darkchilde glanced at her curiously slightly perturbed that no one seemed to care that they were walking to their deaths.
"For us new members, just what is the usual?" The blonde asked dryly.
"That's simple. We just have to amaze him." Peter said before ripping his face off revealing a black face underneath it as Anansi's Exo-skeleton covered him.
"When the hell did you pick that up!?" Chun-Li asked incredulously as she looked at the ascended Spider-Man.
"What? This old thing?" Spider-Man chuckled.
"Can someone please just tell me who is going to save the heroes?" Darkchilde asked as she held the Soulsword.

"Welcome to our team, we don't need heroes." Talon smirked before dashing forward on all fours as Darkchilde dashed right next to her. "By the way, we're going to get into this kind of situation a lot."
"Joy." Darkchilde muttered as Galacta released a powerful beam cosmic energy which the blonde countered with a stream of pure magic energy. The two forces collided as Talon dashed to the side and leapt on top Galacta's right hand when the World Eater attempted to slap her away.
"You're scaring the poor girl Talon!" Spider-Man said as he slid on his knees and leaned back just in time to dodge a swipe from her left hand before firing a web-Line towards her fore head and web-zipping straight to her face where he delivered a vicious right that caused her head to snap to the side. Chun-Li quickly somersaulted in behind him and cocked her left fist back that was sparking with chi
"[Storm Fist!]" Chun-Li shouted as a powerful vortex of chi ripped from her fist and sent the giant back a bit. "Not going to lie, I am beginning to miss my enemies from my world, I took them for granted. You never know what you have until you fight giant planet busting women."
"What have I gotten myself in to?" Darkchilde muttered as she jumped into one of her stepping disks and re-emerged on top of Galacta's hat just as Talon jumped off of the giant woman's shoulder. "Mistress!" The blonde shouted as she extended her hand to Talon, who quickly grabbed it. Spinning around one time, Illyana built up momentum before throwing her up towards Spider-Man whom caught his lover quickly before throwing her towards Gali's chest with her Muramasa blade aimed to kill. Before she could connect though, a powerful cosmic beam shot her down quickly.
"[Shit!]" Chun-Li cursed as she began to reassess the situation as she landed in a crouch.
"She can't concentrate to put up a cosmic shield, but it's useless if we can't get Mistress to make contact! Even then we don't know how to remove Gaea's power." Darkchilde said as she leapt off of Galacta and was quickly caught by Spider-Man whom swung down towards his team mates.
"Laura's not the one who needs to make contact it's you." Spider-Man said as he sat her down. "We're going to have to use THAT. " Spider-Man said making Chun-Li and Talon turn to him disbelief while Darkchilde had to repress a sudden chill. "Chun-Li find me a weak spot then get those two as high into the sky as you can." Chun-Li nodded as both she and Spider-Man blasted forward, him leaving countless after-mages as he did so."

Both Chun-Li and Spider-Man disappeared in golden flashes and began to flash around Galacta at unmatchable speeds, with Spider-Man binding the giant with golden webs. Chun-Li suddenly reappeared between the mutants with the Kanji for heaven burning behind her.
"The back of her neck!" Chun-Li shouted before grabbing both Talon and Darkchilde tightly by both of their forearms. "[Twin Dragon Throw!]" Chun-Li shouted before spinning and throwing both mutants high into the air, the two had completely left the moon's gravitational pull when Talon idly wondered just how strong Chun-Li had gotten.
"At least I know I can survive in space in this form." Illyana mused before frowning. "Just what the hell are we about to do?" Her question was answered when Spider-Man reappeared above them and caught them effortlessly. Like Chun-Li, he grabbed them both by their forearms before he began spinning at incredible speeds. Somewhere, MJ frowned when her power gem began glowing brightly.
"As soon as you pass through her, make the largest stepping disk you can!" Spider-Man shouted before releasing both of them at break neck speeds.

To say Illyana was terrified would be an understatement. However the fear dissipated when she felt some grab her hand. She turned to see Talon give her a reassuring nod and quickly steeled her expression as both she and Talon righted themselves into the air with the Soulsword and Muramasa blade drawn respectively. In no time both of the mutants were upon the bound World Eater.

Illyana waited for the pain from impacting on the moon to come, but when it didn't she opened her eyes to find herself being held bridal style by Talon while the moon completely gave in under the force of their impact as Gali floated off with an incredibly large stepping disk extending from her mid-section, sucking in the absorbed cosmic energy into limbo like a vacuum. Try as she might, Illyana couldn't remove her eyes from her mistress' face even as they exited from the opposite side of the moon.
"Good work." Talon smiled as she engulfed them both in darkness and faded away.

-Abandoned Warehouse-
Team Amazing reappeared to find Rebuff blatantly staring at them in open mouthed shock. No one said anything for a bit before she simply snapped her fingers causing two orbs of light to come from the unconscious forms of Galacta and Gaea. After a moment the orbs morphed into the unconscious forms of Gwen and Sarah. Chun-Li was confused until the sound of someone running alerted her causing her to turn just in time to catch a sobbing Lauren, whom was crying into her side.
"Un-fucking-believable…just what the hell have a created, I never expected you to get this strong." Rebuff muttered getting Illyana's attention as her team mates were preoccupied tending to the people they had saved.
"What do you mean?"
"You guys weren't supposed to win, I designed this so that you all would learn the feeling of defeat, go through a little inner turmoil, and grow stronger because of it…but you fucking won. What the hell? Haven't you people ever read an adventure story before?" Rebuff ranted before releasing a long sigh. "Whatever, I'm out."
"Wait! If we weren't supposed to win…what were you going to do with them?" Spider-Man questioned making Rebuff narrow her eyes.
"Isn't that obvious?" The announcer began. "Keep them locked up until you learned from your inner turmoil then I'd give them to you as a reward…but you won so fuck it."
"So you resurrected them just so we could experience a horrible defeat?" Talon questioned in confusion.
"Hold up, I didn't resurrect them…you two did." Rebuff deadpanned shocking them greatly. "Back when you were inside Nemesis did either have any stray thoughts when Sakaar was recreated?"
"…Crap." Spider-Man muttered. "I had thought about how useful she would have been when I failed to save Gwen."
"I did the same concerning my mother; you mean Nemesis actually did it?" Talon questioned incredulously making the announcer point at the supposedly dead women.
"You tell me." Rebuff deadpanned.
"Also what the hell do you mean we need to understand what defeat felt like? The entire reason we're even here is because we lost people precious to us!" Talon continued making Rebuff blink owlishly.
"That's…actually a good point." Rebuff murmured quietly to herself as the team gaped at her. "Oh well, I'm out I'll see you all next time."
"Wait just what are you after?" Spider-Man wondered; he could not see her future at all.
"What I want…is to see just how far you can go." Rebuff said seriously. "A storm's coming and I want you ready." And with that ominous message the woman faded away, leaving Team Amazing to wonder just what was coming.
"By the way, we are never doing that last combination attack again." Magik said seriously.

"Okay Spidey just where the hell did you end up this time?" Spider-Man muttered as he looked around his surroundings. It had been a week since he started training with his powers as the Great Weaver and he had decided to take Deadpool's advice and check in on the DC universe to see how Lois was doing, just a friendly check in.
At least that's what he kept telling himself.
"Okay I have definitely taken the wrong turn at the web; I am nowhere close to the DCU. Way to go Spidey." The Web head groaned before looking at his surroundings one more time. "Wait I'm in medieval times just what universe is this-"
"You there, young weaver, state your business in this realm." A cold feminine voice spoke up making Spidey turn around to come face to face with a woman that made his blood run cold. She had cold glowing blue eyes and hair and skin that were white as snow. Her clothing, if it could even be called that was black and left very little to the imagination. She had on a black cape that seemed to suck the light out of the area.
Which was surprising seeing as it was noon.
"OhshitOhshitohshitohshitOhshit." Spider-Man began sweating behind his mask as he realized he was talking to someone he honestly didn't know if he could beat. Spidey grimaced as he stared up at non-other than Lady Death, the original villainess. "Of all the fucking universes I walked into the Chaos one? Or is this Avatar press? Either way I need to calm down, she could be the not so evil version-"
(LIAG Helpful Info: Listen I could literally go on for pages about this woman but I'll sum it up with this. She's an anti-hero and Avatar of Death, she's so fucking dangerous she was deemed worthy to be confronted by God himself after breaking in to his realm. She's THE anti-hero second only in my opinion to Spawn, but that's a story for another day.)

Spider-Man ducked just in time to prevent being impaled by her sword.
"I said, state your business." It was then that she sneered at him. "Mortal? A mortal is the current Weaver? Tell me what happened to that fool Anansi."
"He died." Spider-Man said with a touch of sadness in his voice.
"And he left you his web?" Lady Death asked dubiously before narrowing her eyes. "There is only one way to test if you're worthy." Spider-Man slid into his fighting stance when he realized a fight was on its way. "Show me your power!" Spider-Man leapt forward as he realized that he was going to have to go all out.
-Hours Later-
"You are more worthy than I realized." Lady Death said with a small smirk as she began to put her clothes back on as an exhausted Spider-Man lay on his back with nothing but his mask on.
"H-how the hell did it end up like this!?" Spidey wondered incredulously, the last few hours had been a complete blur.
"I wish you luck on your endeavors." Lady Death said as she began to walk away. "May our paths cross again." And with that she left the petrified Weaver, who was waiting for feeling to return to the lower half of his body.
