Chapter 32: Tier 8: Ballad of Spiders

(Alternate titles: Last Stand! Or The Crimson Empress vs. The Once and Future Queen!)

-One Week later: Emora: With Black Widow-

BGM: Unavoidable Battle- Persona 3 OST

Black Widow shakily forced herself to her feet as her badly damages combat suit began to spark erratically as the red Spider-Emblem burned on her back.

"It's over Natasha, give up." Captain America said as he caught his shield making the red-head glare at him. As skilled as she may be, Captain America still surpassed her even with her new combat suit. It was a newer model than the one she had used against viper. This one increased her strength and speed even further beyond the previous one but it lacked the defense leaving her to fight with her normal pain threshold which was simply nowhere close to Captain America's.

It didn't help that his hand to hand was greater than hers and that his shield blocked anything she could throw at him. She cursed slightly as she fell back to her knee, if she had prepared properly she would have stood a greater chance of victory.

Why was she so unprepared you may ask? Because this was her team's sixth fight…

…today.

They had their second tier fight against Team Sue Your Ass, which was the fight she had planned for seeing as Daredevil was her opponent but the entire team was decimated in seconds by MJ. So the announcer just shrugged and gave them another fight…

Then another…

Then another….

Then another…

All but two of the following fights ended the same way.

The first one was a surprisingly somewhat longer fight against "Team Siphon", a team led by Rogue which consisted of her, Hope, and a woman named Nilin. Truth be told they could have lost that fight if MJ hadn't 'killed' Hope one second after the fight had started thus removing their trump card.

And the current one, which was only lasting as long as it was because MJ had decided to watch them fight from the top of a nearby building after decimating Chris.

"Really you want me to give up? Why? We both know that Mary Jane will kill you." Black Widow pointed out. Steve was about to reply when a voice interrupted them.

"Already did." MJ drawledas she walked passed them while twirling Gae Bolg in her hand with her body garbed in her demonic armor.

*BOOOOM*

Blood showered a wide-eyed Black Widow as a red light speared Captain America through his heart.

Captain America: Dead

The Soldiers: 0

"You two are so weak it actually hurts to watch you." MJ Muttered as she picked up Captain America's shield and slung it at Guile whom was fighting Crimson Viper to a standstill.

The shield decapitated him instantly much to Crimson Viper's horror.

Guile: Dead

"Pathetic…no…not pathetic…they are skilled warriors, but my power…it's just far too vast for the likes of them." MJ Muttered as she gazed down at her left palm before clenching her hand into a fist. "I can't be stopped."

-Meanwhile at Andy's house-

["And there it is ladies and gentlemen, the Crimson Crusade has just reached Tier Seven! One more and they will be eligible for the semi-finals!"] Andy shook his head as he turned off the television in his room.

"Even I'm not as strong as her." Andy said with a shudder. "There should really be a limit to how strong you can be."

*Tap* *Tap*

Andy frowned when he heard someone tap on his window and quickly walked to it. He smiled when he saw it was May and quickly let her in.

"You know you are allowed to use the front door right." Andy pointed out making May roll her eyes behind her mask as she stepped into his room.

"I doubt meeting your parents for the first time in a Spider-Girl costume would be a good idea." May pointed out making Andy shrug.

"Well they aren't here so I really can't say." May was going to respond before pausing as she took in what he was wearing.

"Spider-Man pajamas…really?" May asked as she held back a snort. Indeed Andy was wearing a white T-shirt that had Spider-Man's iconic red mask on the front along with a pair of red and blue web-patterned pajama bottoms.

"Just because we're dating doesn't mean your dad became any less awesome." Andy defended his pajamas that portrayed his favorite hero. "Anyway not that I'm unhappy or anything, but why are you here? Normally you'd call first…or just shout it out from your window."

"Because this is something that needs to be said in person." May said with a surprising amount of seriousness.

"We're breaking up already? It's barely been a week!" Andy said incredulously making May face-palm

"No, not that. I need your help." May said firmly making him frown in confusion. "Mom's lost it, the Emoran citizens are too scared to even walk outside with those robot drones patrolling everywhere. They say it's like Doom all over again. Dad doesn't know how bad things have gotten; at least I don't think so, because he has to focus on Adriana meaning he can't watch all of the things he normally would."

"I see and you want me to go over there and try to knock some sense into her?" Andy wondered. "I mean I'll try but let the record show that your mother scares the hell out of me."

"No, her power is infinite." May stated with a frown. "Even as fast as your strength grows it will take too long before you are a legitimate threat to her. What we need is something that can match her strength…if only for an instant so that I can try to snap her out of her madness."

"Like your Unity!" Andy realized making May nod with a frown as she pulled of her mask.

"Exactly." May said seriously as she gazed up at him making him look back at her perplexed.

"So what does your unity have to do with me?"

"…"

"…"

"…I'm not spelling this out for you."

"What do you-oh…" Andy trailed off as he took a step back. "Oh…"

-Meanwhile: Team Amazing's apartment-

We now find our heroes training for their next fight against Arachnophobia. Chun-Li could be seen beating a training bag mercilessly as if she were trying to put all of her rage and frustration in to every blow as the remains of previous bags we're scattered around her.

Talon on the other hand could be found sitting in a lotus position on the opposite side of the room. Her eyes were closed as she made the souls within her calm down.

Magik could be found lying on the couch lazily as she flipped through an old spell book.

As for Spider-Man…

…actually no one knew where the hell he was at the moment.

"You know…its times like this that makes me wonder how you all have any synergy whatsoever….I mean you're all so different…." A voice spoke getting their attention. Talon opened her eyes, Magik place her book down, and after delivering power kick the knocked the training bag across the room, Chun-Li turned around to see Jessica sitting in a chair that was next to the sofa.

"How do you even see?" Magik questioned curiously as she looked at the Madame web's crimson silk blindfold.

"When you see as much as I do, eyes are irrelevant." Jessica pointed out ominously. "Anyway I came here to let you know that you should not to get too comfortable, the next fight is the one where your chance of defeat is greatest." Jessica informed them before turning to Chun-LI. "Some of you might not even make it out alive. Don't let the fact that you've faced stronger opponents cloud your judgment, they may be weaker but they are far more cunning than you may think."

"Can't Spider-Man just come up with a plan or something? The man out maneuvered Death after all." Magik pointed out.

"Yes, but due to the Queen's presence he can't draw strength from the gems because she possesses one of them and she also severely weakens his connection to the web." Jessica explained to them. "You all will need to be able to finish your fights quickly in order to aid him; please I ask you this not as Madame Web but as a friend. Don't let Peter fight Adriana for too long by himself."

"Why? Is she that much stronger than him?" Talon asked in confusion making the blindfolded woman shake her head.

"Not in the physical sense like you think, you need to understand that thanks to her connection with Ero…she can hurt Peter in ways you can't even fathom. I like to have faith that even Adriana has a limit to how far she's willing to go for her goals, but nobody knows just what they are capable of when backed into a corner. Their relationship is more complex than you can imagine." Jessica was no fool, she knew exactly how complex relationships were for the individuals in front of her and they knew it too. For her to say something like that meant she was either incredibly stupid…

….or she was telling the truth.

-Spider-Temple-

A brown haired woman could be seen wrapping herself in a brown hooded cloak before picking up her bandage covered blade.

"I've finally finished my training." The woman muttered as she walked away from the temple. "Don't worry Spider-Man I will do my part."

-Meanwhile with Spider-Man-

BGM: Dark Horse-Katy Perry

Spider-Man could now be found standing both shirtless and mask-less on a balcony of an apartment that did not belong to him. He leaned forward on the rail and released a tired sigh as he stared out at the New York lights. He tensed slightly as two arms circled around him and brought him back into a warm embrace.

"You should get back to bed; you will want to be well rested for our fight tomorrow." Adriana whispered in his ear huskily before placing a kiss on his neck.

"You know, we can just make this easy for the both us. I don't know how…but I will win, just drop your hatred and help me strengthen our species peacefully." Peter said as he felt her smirk against his neck.

"If you want me to change my views, you'll have to fight for it." Adriana stated with a small laugh though she didn't deny that he probably would find a way to pull off a win. "It should be interesting though, seeing how you are afraid of me."

"Me? Afraid of you? Haha! Adriana, I'm not sure if you realized it yet but I have no reason to be afraid to fight you." Peter chuckled as he turned around to face her.

"Oh? What about the fact that the first time we fought I made you give birth to yourself albeit it was an accident but that changes nothing. The second time I nearly took over the city, I'm sorry my mate but you've never taken me down alone before." Adriana pointed out before smirking as she raised his face with her right index finger. "Though even then Spider-Man doesn't fear me…Peter doesn't fear me…but Ero does. I've given you pleasure you didn't even think was possible and know you more intimately than even the closest of your lovers." Adriana stated knowingly as the image of a whimpering blonde flashed through her mind.

"I'll admit that in hindsight, Ero may have told you more about us than I would have liked…" Peter trailed off before smirking. "But don't forget I know quite a few things about you as well, so I'd hold off any declarations of psychological warfare. For the first time in over a year, tomorrow we are going to be enemies again…despite how much I'd like us not to." Peter pointed out making Adriana look down slightly feeling a little sad. She loved the non-hostile relationship she had with her mate…part of her wanted to forfeit but she had to do what was best for her people.

"But until then…?"

"Until then, you get your beautiful ass back in the bed." Peter chuckled as he lifted her up bridal style and ran back into her apartment.

For once neither of them knew what tomorrow would bring and because of that they realized just how much they took blissful ignorance for granted as sounds of passion rung throughout the apartment.

-The Next morning-

Rebuff blinked owlishly as she stared at the two teams that were staring at each other, she swore she could almost choke on the tension. They hadn't even said anything but it looked as if everyone had picked their opponents long before the match had even begun…hell maybe before it was even announced.

"Okay seeing how all of you obviously want to kick each other's ass…" Rebuff trailed off awkwardly as she continued to glance between the two teams in concern. Spider-Man clenched his fist making Adriana smirk coldly, Cammy and Talon simply stared at each other emotionlessly but Rebuff could tell that both women were prepared to end the other if it came to it, Rebuff could literally see the killing intent between Chun-Li and Juri, and as for Magik and Alice…

"Hi!" Alice smiled brightly making Illyana blink.

"Err…hello?" Illyana said making Alice smile even wider at the fact she used her newest word correctly.

"Okay almost all of you anyway." Rebuff conceded as Alice was seemingly overflowing with childish innocence.

"Do I have to fight her? I actually feel kind of bad…" Magik said as she turned to Rebuff making Alice tilt her head…she could almost see the question mark that would be floating over the experiment's head. "Oh come on! Look at her; it's like fighting an innocent puppy!"

"Sorry, someone has to do it and seeing how Ero is gone, you have no choice-"

"That's enough talking, start the fight." Chun-Li interrupted calmly, but everyone could hear the steel in her voice.

"Alright, alright damn…" Rebuff muttered to herself. "This will be a four on four battle, all deaths are permanent so please try not to kill each other many of you have large fanbases and are the only reason ratings are as high as they are for this damn show. I've evacuated everyone from the city so go wild! Alright and…start." Rebuff said as she faded away. As soon as the last word was said both Juri and Chun-Li dashed towards each other at incredible speeds before releasing two devastating high-kicks.

*BOOOOOOM!*

Their legs collided with each other's creating a powerful shockwave that caused the top two floors of the building to explode. The spiders expertly leapt away and both Magik and Talon teleported to the safety of a nearby building. Cammy simply leapt through the explosion after the feral.

"Son of a bitch! My office! I just got it how I wanted it!" Spider-Man thought incredulously as he saw his office get decimated.

"My, my, aren't they eager?" Adriana drawled simply as she fell backwards only to catch herself by firing a web-line on a nearby building and swinging off into the city with Spider-Man right behind her.

"Hahahahaha!" Alice laughed as she somersaulted and landed on her rear in front of Magik. "Ow." Alice pouted as she looked up at Magik innocently.

"You're…a little touched in the head aren't you?" Magik asked carefully. Alice just made a few clicking noises before springing to her feet, head-butting Magik in the process. "You bitch!" Magik muttered as she held her jaw. Alice just groaned as she held the top of her head. She sniffed slightly and glared up at the blonde with her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "Why are you mad at me? It was your fault!" Alice simply hissed and leapt at her fellow blonde.

-With Talon-

"I have to admit, I'm actually honored to fight someone with as much skill as you." Cammy said calmly.

"Likewise." Talon agreed before sighing. "Is there really a point in this, you don't care one way or the other about this tournament. Why not surrender?"

"I would if it was that simple." Cammy admitted. "However, the universe is at stake and if there is even a chance that your team isn't strong enough to win then you might as well be removed now."

"So you're testing me?" Talon inquired curiously.

"Precisely." Cammy answered before sliding into a fighting stance and closing her eyes. "Word of advice though…your teeth…"

"What about them?" Talon asked with a frown as she tensed for battle. Cammy simply smirked before opening her eyes, revealing her irises to be glowing red.

"Grit them." As if having a moment of foresight, Talon quickly fired countless black tendrils from her body.

*BAM!*

"What!?" Talon wondered as she found her head whipping to the side as Cammy's fist found itself rammed into the side of her face, she barely got a chance to register that all of the tendrils had apparently missed the blonde before she was sent blasting away. Recovering in mid-air, Talon landed on her feet and stumbled back slightly before stopping on the edge of the roof. "That speed…that strength…if it weren't for the vibranium that would have taken my head right off…How…how the hell did she even knock me back in the first place?"

"Amazing isn't it?" Cammy questioned curiously as she looked down at her right hand and slowly clenched into a first from her pinky finger to her thumb. "The effects Adriana's venom has on the body is unbelievable, though I wouldn't recommend it it…the survival rate is apparently non-existent. It felt like lava was flowing through my veins"

"So, you've accepted the Queen's embrace." Talon muttered in realization that she was no longer fighting a human opponent. "Though how did you survive? The venom should have killed you."

"I ask myself that every day." Cammy mused. "I suppose that I just wanted to live. I agreed to protect Ero's legacy and she gave me the power to do so…when I was on my bed dying with her venom flowing through me, I felt something in my mind...crack...and it was then that I understood the truth." Cammy said with a serene smile as Talon felt a bead of sweat slide down her face as realization hit her like a pissed off Thor's hammer. Just like Chun-Li when she fought Akuma a little over a year ago…

…Cammy's mind had shattered.

"Just…how long have you been like this?" Talon asked apprehensively. "If she broke like Chun-Li then logic has no meaning to her!"

"About a year give or take a few weeks." Cammy said with a shrug. "Now as for the truth… the balance between light and darkness…are irrelevant, both have been used for good and evil. The forces which truly need to be balanced are love and chaos. Balance those…and you can do anything. Defeat the undefeatable, touch the untouchable, but more importantly…" Cammy trailed of before disappearing and reappearing in front of the feral. "Break…the unbreakable." Cammy finished as she rammed her fist into Talon's ribs, making the feral gasp in pain as she felt her ribs tremble in protest before being launched off of the building.

-With Spider-Man-

BGM: Beautiful Nightmare -

"Honestly Spider-Man, you can't win this one." Adriana drawled as she web-swung after her mate. "I don't want to hurt you over some damn monkeys, you're too important to both the web and myself."

"I've protected these people too long to give up now!" Spider-Man shouted back as he back flipped off of his web-line and maneuvered in mid-air so that he could descend upon Adriana with a vicious drop kick. The Queen released her web-line and blocked the attack by crossing her forearms in front of her. Spider-Man used this moment to leap off of her and land on the side of a nearby building while Adriana landed on the side of the opposite building. Both lovers glared at each other before leaping towards each other with their fists cocked back.

*BOOOOOM!*

When the two blows met each other, they released a shockwave that sent the Spiders blasting back. Spider-man landed on the street on his hands before flipping back to his feet as Adriana mirrored his actions. Spider-Man crossed his arms as the Queen placed her hands over her heart, both released a small gasp when they felt a wave of ecstasy rip though their bodies before blasting off at each other like bullets, in fact they shot off so fast that no one could see them until they met each other half way with their fists buried into each other's faces. They appeared to be frozen in that position as their surroundings began to randomly explode.

-Avenger's Tower-

"So can anyone please explain to me just what's going on with those two?" Tony asked in confusion as every non-human narrowed their eyes at the screen.

"Look closer tin head." Logan growled out before sipping his beer.

"He's right; if you look closer you'll be able to tell." Carol added as she went to grab a beer.

*SNICKT!*

Carol blinked in confusion as Logan's claws suddenly blocked her path to his beer.

"Sorry darlin' but we both know how the web-head would react if he found out I let you drink." Logan said gruffly. "I don't wanna be neck deep in cement again, so if you don't mind backing up and drinking your water this doesn't need to get complicated."

"Damn it…" Carol said as her shoulders slumped in defeat, she was so focused on the fight that she completely forgot about her current…condition.

"Don't worry you'll get the chance to make his life hell when the cravings kick in." Black Cat said knowingly as she sat next to Logan and grabbed a beer.

"Hey, I still don't see-oh wait never mind there it is." Tony said as he stared at the screen. Slowly but surely he could make out various after-images of Spider-Man and the Queen in different fighting positions. Every time a new one would appear that part of the battlefield would explode.

"Go dad-mom-dad-" Elise stopped cheering as she stared at her hands with a pout as May held back a snicker. The poor girl didn't know who to cheer for. Her expression suddenly brightened as she turned to Valeria whom was sitting next to her reading a book on super symmetric quantum mechanics. "Valeria! Cheer for daddy so I can cheer for mom." Elise said making the other girl slowly lower her book and stare at her…friend…acquaintance…with a raised eyebrow.

"You must have lost your-"

-Cue puppy look-

"Of all the unmitigated…" Valeria trailed off with a glare before sighing and closing her book. "Go Spider-Man." Valeria said boredly making both May and Sue laugh, which made the genius girl glare at them.

"Now I see what you are talking about, that is hilarious." Sue said as she wiped a tear from her eye.

"Told you." May snickered.

-With Spider-Man and the Queen-

The two broke apart after a particularly power blow separated them. They panted tiredly as the current battlefield looked like nothing but pure unadulterated destruction.

"The hell did you learn to fight like that!?" Spider-Man panted out incredulously.

"I was the first female marine to see combat in World War II, you didn't honestly think I had no hand-to-hand experience did you?" The Queen asked dryly.

"For a second…yeah…I kinda did." Spider-Man said as he rubbed his sore jaw. "Damn getting hit hurts." Spider-Man rolled his shoulders before dashing at her a gain.

"Enough! This ends now!" Adriana shouted as she released a powerful sonic scream at the hero.

"Robyn! Now!" Spider-Man shouted as his lenses shone red for a second. The scream collided in to him, but didn't detour him in the slightest as he fired two web-lines passed Adriana which connected to an abandoned building behind her. Spider-Man used some of the strength from Nemesis' power gem and ripped the building down upon the Queen. "Just because I can't use Nemesis' power directly doesn't mean I can't use it indirectly!"

"Tsk." Adriana gritted her teeth as she caught the building and was quickly forced to a knee as her muscles tensed from the sheer weight. Her irises blazed red as her fangs elongated. "You underestimate the power of your Queen!" Spider-Man watched in a stunned disbelief as Adriana regained her footing and lifted the building above her before throwing it at Spider-Man. Spider-Man took a second to blatantly gape at his lover before running his ass off down the street. The shadow of the building covered him as he fired a web-line.

"Oh…Shi-"

-Meanwhile: With Chun-Li-

*BOOOOOM*

Chun-Li didn't bat an eye as she heard the building collapse from where she supposed Spider-Man was fighting the Queen. Glaring at the smirking Juri, Chun-Li clapped her hands together as her opponent crouched down and let her arms hang limply. Both women were slightly damaged but nothing even close to life threatening could be seen.

"[Serenity: Achieved.]" Chun-Li muttered as her body erupted in a blazing white chi.

"[Dark Clarity.]" Juri stated as her power exploded in pitch black chi with two dragons originating from her feet spiraling around her body.

BGM: You Don't Know Me: MadWorld OST

"[You wanna play with the big girls, China-girl? Fine. No more Mercy, this time it's for keeps!]" Juri shouted as she dashed forward viciously.

"Kikosho!" Chun-Li shouted as a large orb of chi appeared before her. Juri smirked and spun on her left heel before slamming her right leg into the attack, making it shatter like glass. Wasting no time, Juri spun on her heel one more time before springing forward with a devastating round house kick which Chun-Li expertly blocked with her left forearm. Chun-Li gritted her teeth when Juri's right leg tightened around her arm. "[Shit, it was a diversion!]" Juri tightened her leg some more before she used it to lift herself up and slam her left foot into the side of Chun-Li's head.

"[Your power means nothing against my skill!]" Juri shouted as she released the woman's arm and back flipped onto her hands before springing up and slamming both of her feet into the woman's chin sending her flying up into the sky. Landing in a crouch, Juri glared up at Chun-Li. "[You aren't the only one who can learn from their teammates.]" Juri said as her left eye shone brightly as an Image of a smirking Ero flashed through her mind. "Juri Han Original: Ultimate Spider!" Juri shouted before disappearing in a purple flash.

"AHHHH!" Chun-Li shouted as a purple flash of light slammed into her from multiple directions. Juri landed on Chun-Li's back with a smirk as they both began to descend back towards the streets of New York. Juri gripped the back of Chun-Li's top tightly with the toes on her right foot and began to somersault o the ground at increasing speeds.

"[Here comes the finale!]" Juri shouted as she slammed the woman into the street "Taiji!" A blue bolt of lightning slammed into the woman creating an explosion that took out most of the block. "[Over all ready? Tsk, disappointing.]" Juri muttered as she began to walk away leaving Chun-Li in a spider shaped crater.

"[That definitely wasn't bad…not bad at all.]" Chun-Li's voice spoke up making Juri stop and turn back with a smirk. Chun-Li slowly stood up as her chi began to mend her bones back in place.

*CRACK*

*CRACK*

*CRACK*

"[Oh really?]" Juri asked in amusement. Chun-Li glanced down at her right bracelet to see that it was cracked. Chun-Li clenched her right fist tightly, releasing a small amount of chi that shattered the bracelet. Chun-Li did the same with her left bracelet and the two on her ankles though instead of shattering they just opened up and fell to the ground, shattering the pavement with their weight when they landed.

"[Yes, but you need to put more feeling into your blows, like this.]" Chun-Li began as she suddenly appeared before Juri with her fist buried into the woman's face. "Yin…" Chun-Li began as a black bolt of chi collided into to Juri sending her flying away.

-Brooklyn: With Magik-

Illyana kicked the blonde woman off of her after Alice sunk her fangs into her neck. Before Magik could continue her assault Chun-Li appeared between them in a flash of speed as Juri began to fall towards them.

"Yang…" Chun-Li muttered as she leapt up and delivered a powerful uppercut to the falling Juri. A white bolt of energy accompanied the blow sending her blasting away again. Chun-Li simply blurred away leaving both Magik and Alice standing awkwardly for a moment.

-Queens: With Spider-Man-

Spider-Man dodged the Queen's web-lines and flipped behind a nearby car before picking it up. It was at that moment when Chun-Li appeared between both of them and caught a falling Juri by her face before slamming her down into the ground.

"WUJI!"

A crimson bolt of energy slammed into the women before Chun-Li blasted forward in a blaze of crimson energy while dragging Juri along with her through the streets.

"…" The Queen blinked owlishly at where the two women had blasted off to and noticed that various explosions accompanied them as Chun-Li dragged Juri's head through the ground. She then ducked as a car went sailing just over her head making her glare at Spider-Man.

"You can't blame me for trying."

-Manhattan: With Talon-

A pitch black Talon panted tiredly on her knees as countless bright blue cracks could be seen over her body. A battle scarred Cammy walked forward calmly before pausing as Chun-Li suddenly blasted through the battle field, dragging Juri along with her as she did so.

"Wow…Juri really pissed her off." Cammy mused before turning back to her opponent whom had used her distraction as a perfect chance to disappear. "Damn."

-New York: Bronx-

Chun-Li finally released the woman near at the shore of Bronx before releasing her and kicking her into the water.

-Meanwhile: With Talon-

"Unbelievable…" A heavily wounded Talon thought tiredly as blood pooled underneath her. "Am I…actually dying?" Talon wondered as she looked up at a slightly wounded but still standing Cammy. "Such power…how is it possible?"

"Do you know why you lost today?" Cammy questioned as she wiped blood from her lip. "You doubt yourself too much. As soon as she realized your skeleton wouldn't help you against me…you began to fear me, and that's what led you to your downfall. Your lack of faith made you sloppy quite a sad end for someone whose made it this far." Cammy said as she clenched her right fist tightly. "Unity."

"What?" Talon looked up in shock as Cammy's right arm was covered in a hard pitch black organic substance. Looking closer she realized that her arm looked quite similar to Peter's when he used Anansi's exoskeleton.

"Bonds are important you know? The stronger they are the more you have…they all strengthen who you are as a person tremendously. When you have faith in these bonds…it is then…only then that you know what true power feels like." Cammy began as she raised her arm to the side and seemed to grab at nothing. "With this hand of mine, I reach out and grab these bonds that I have collected over the course of my life…" Talon's eyes widened more when she saw Cammy grabbing a multitude of golden web-lines. "And I take their power for myself." Cammy finished as she ripped her hand down causing her arm to explode in a harsh golden light.

*BOOOOM*

Cammy's pitch black arm was surrounded in a golden flame like energy.

"In my hand is the combined might of everyone I've ever known. This is it Talon, I'm sorry but I guess you weren't meant to win this tournament." Cammy said as she walked forward calmly.

BGM: Defeated- Anastacia

"Damn…if I could reach my full power this wouldn't be a problem but I have no idea where Illyana is." Talon thought in frustration as she closed her eyes.

Just stay by my side Laura, that's all I ask.

"Wait…I made a promise…one that I can never go back on…" Talon realized as her eyes snapped open. She weakly pushed herself up and glared at Cammy tiredly. "Too many people put their faith in me for me to go down now…I refuse to be the reason my team doesn't win this tournament."

"Oh? So you still have some fight left in you." Cammy said with a little amount of surprise.

"Everyone's trust in me is what made me who I am today, if the current me falls I would have betrayed all their trust. I've gone through so much…too much…to get where I am now…"

*SNICKT!*

Talon gritted her teeth and glared at the blonde as her talons erupted from her hands.

"You've exhausted so many of your powers…and you think your claws will help you right now?' Cammy asked skeptically as she continued forward. Despite the situation, Talon found herself smirking even as blood spilled form her mouth.

"They have not failed me yet, if everything else doesn't work why not go back to the basics?" Cammy's eyes narrowed when Talon suddenly froze after saying that sentence. The feral revealed a vicious grin as she seemed to have come to some sort of epiphany.

"Let's finish this quickly; I have some place I need to be." Talon stated as she weakly stood up with her arms hanging limply by her sides.

"So be it." Cammy said before dashing forward with her arm cocked back, Talon quickly ran forward as well and when they met each other half way, Cammy released her punch while Talon spit out some of her blood.

"Bye. Bye."

*BOOOOOOOOOOM*

What looked like a golden wave of flaming energy shot throughout the city, practically splitting it in two.

When the light died down, we could now find Cammy stand with her right arm outstretched in front of her. Instantly the Exo-skeleton on her arm shattered. She smirked as her face was covered with blood that did not belong to her.

"You used your own blood to blind me?" Cammy questioned as she weakly wiped the blood form her eyes so she could look down at the adamantium blades that exited through her stomach. Talon panted weakly from behind her as she ripped her talons free, sending Cammy crashing to her knees. Half of Talon's vibranium clad skull was visible as she stared down at her opponent.

"I realized that even as powerful as you have become, you must have been neglecting your hand to hand skills in order to control the power…its then I realized that after I stopped fearing you…that you were full of openings." Talon stated tiredly as her face began to heal. "I blinded you with my blood, and finished you."

"Amazing…you really are unbreakable." Cammy chuckled before falling forward as a well-welcomed darkness engulfed her vision. Talon panted breathlessly as she gazed up at the sky before kneeling down to mend the woman's wound.

Talon's eyes widened as she felt the ground tremble underneath her forcing her to catch her balance.

-With Chun-Li-

Chun-Li was now standing in a golden blaze of power as her eyes shone completely white with power. She gritted her teeth as she felt the same power she used against Augus flow through her, still it wasn't enough and she realized that as she glared up at Juri who was hundreds of feet in the air and descending quickly. The woman was now completely engulfed in a black aura as her left eye shone like a brilliant purple flame.

"[Juri Han Original: Falling Black Dragon Spear!]" Juri shouted as a black dragon covered her right foot as she attempted to drop kick Chun-Li

"[Monkey King's Pole!]" Chun-Li shouted as her right foot shone with a brilliant flame. When the attacks collided the shockwave completely disintegrated their surroundings. Gritting her teeth, Chun-Li pumped out more power shattering the black dragon and sending Juri blasting off into the sky. Chun-Li quickly crouched to the ground and released a pulse of chi from her feet. "[Rising Eagle Strike!]" Suddenly Chun-I's body changed into that of a Golden Eagle and blasted off into the sky at blinding speeds. The Eagle released a powerful cry as it flew.

-Space-

Juri glared as she saw the Eagle coming straight towards her and quickly released the maximum output of her Feng-Shui engine which released a purple pulse of chi that slammed into the bird making it fall back with a silent cry and revert into a slightly dazed Chun-Li. Juri grabbed the woman by her hair and tossed her at the moon before releasing a pulse of chi from her feet and blasting after her.

-Moon-

Chun-Li recovered and landed in a handstand before springing up and releasing a devastating kick to Juri's face, sending her flying back. Chu-Li dashed forward as the woman recovered and the two began trading powerful blows, which made the ground shatter every time their attacks met. Chun-Li flipped forward just as Juri crouched and failed to land a sweep kick. Landing on the opposite side of Juri, Chun-Li spun around just as Juri did the same and released a punch which was expertly dodge by Juri.

"[Fangs!]" Juri shouted as she slammed both of her elbows down on Chun-Li's shoulders and smirked when she felt her opponent's shoulders snap. "[3rd Stance Hwechook]" Juri shouted as she spun on her right heel and slammed her left leg into the side of Chun-Li's head before rapidly spinning in the opposite direction on the same heel and slamming her left leg into the right side of Chun-Li s head. Chun-Li coughed up blood as Juri slammed her right foot into her chest causing a torrent of chi to flow through her chest and out her back. There were no visible wounds besides the gaping hole she now had in the back and front of her shirt.

*BOOOOOOM*

Juri's foot exploded with power sending Chun-Li crashing back to Earth.

-New York-

Chun-Li's body flew towards the unforgiving concrete. She gritted her teeth as she forced herself to straighten herself in order to land.

A large crater was formed when Chun-Li impacted into the ground feet first. Water began to fill the crater as she powered down and fell to her knees. She had never felt so exhausted in her life. She lurched forward as she coughed up more blood before weakly looking at her reflection in the growing puddle of water.

I just hope you two take a good long look at yourselves before you do something you regret.

She was sure that the last time she was even closed to looking this devastated from a fight was ironically the last time she had fought Juri. It had been so very long since the last time she was able to get such a thrill from a fight. She knew not many people could challenge her this much…she shuddered at the thought of one day ending up like Akuma after she got her revenge on Bison. Wandering around aimlessly looking for a worthy opponent becoming more and more of a monster as time went on. She knew that she would never be able to give up fighting but what scared her was never finding a good opponent ever again.

Still so much was at stake…

What exactly could she do?

Kill or be killed and leave Juri to that inevitable hell?

She could die how she was to day or live and watch herself become a monster.

…There is ALWAYS another choice…

Chun-Li's eyes widened slightly as Talon 2099's words rung through her mind.

Chun-Li narrowed her eyes when she saw Juri descending upon her, and by the looks of it seemed as though the other woman's own power was beginning to disappear.

"Kaisen Dankairaku!" Juri shouted as she began to perform multiple helicopter kicks as she fell which allowed her to build up a lot of momentum. She noticed her power disappearing and decided it was time to end the fight once and for all.

She did her best to ignore what felt like…guilt?

"Shichisei Ranka!" Chun-Li shouted as she leapt up and spun around and meeting Juri's kick with a high kick of her own. Both rivals were forced to close their eyes as they were engulfed in a white light.

-New York-

A dome of bright white light began to grow in size decimating everything in its path.

-With Talon-

Talon limped her way down the street before turning around when she heard an explosion. Her eyes widened as a growing dome of white light quickly engulfed her.

-With Magik-

Illyana, now transformed into Darkchilde, descended upon the now colossal spider form of Alice with her sword held high above her head. Just before she could make contact, they were engulfed in a white light.

-With Spider-Man-

Spider-Man and the Queen both stopped mid-fight when they saw the approaching dome of destruction. They nodded at each other and made a temporary truce so that they could run and escape it.

-?-

A young Chun-Li could now be seen crying in front of her father's grave. She stopped when she heard someone else crying. She wiped her eyes before turning around to see a young badly injured Juri weeping over the mutilated forms of her parents as blood fell from her wounded left eyes almost like red tears.

Juri stopped crying when she noticed she was being stared at and turned to see Chun-Li staring at her emotionlessly. Juri's lifeless expression was mirrored by Chun-Li's and she realized that the other girl could understand her better than anyone. A moment passed before Juri stood up and held Chun-Li's stare before both young women dashed towards each other and released two powerful high kicks.

*BOOOM*

An older Chun-Li who was now wearing her signature blue outfit glared at an older and now smirking Juri whose left eye shone with pure ill intent. The two women traded blows for a moment before Chun-Li ducked under a kick from Juri and rammed her fist in to the woman's face, but before Juri fell she planted her left foot into Chun-Li's stomach sending her crashing down. Juri stumbled back a few steps before falling down as well.

"Come on Chun-Li, you can't lose yet!" A voice spoke up and Chun-Li looked up to see smiling Peter holding a hand out to her. She grabbed his hand and he lifted her up back to her feet, she looked down to see that she was now in her silver china dress. Juri glared at Chun-Li as she found it hard to stand up.

"That can't be the best you've got. No wonder I kicked your ass." Juri blinked in confusion before looking up to see a smirking Ero leaning down to help her up. Just like with Chun-Li, when she stood up she found herself in her latest outfit. "That's better, now don't disappoint me." Ero said with a chuckle. Juri and Chun-Li both glared at each other before dashing at each other with their fists cocked back.

*BAM!*

-New York-

When the light died down we could both Juri and Chun-Li groaning on their backs with large red marks on their foreheads.

"[Y-you bitch…why the hell did you put your fist down? I ran right into you!]" Juri groaned in pain as she held her head.

"[I decided that this was pointless…I'd rather die than kill the only one who can give me a good challenge. I want revenge…but it was turning me into a completely different person…I'd rather you kill Bison than watch myself turn into a monster.]" Chun-Li winced out. "[A better question is why did you put yours down-damn it your head is hard!]"

"[W-who k-knows? If there w-was no China-Girl for me to torment, I'd probably die of b-boredom way before I even g-get to kill Bison.]" Juri grumbled.

*Snort*

Chun-Li began to chuckle and before long Juri found herself smiling before joining her. Both women began to laugh loudly.

"[I-I can't believe we completely fucked this city up just to pussy out in the end.]" Juri laughed before wincing in pain from her injuries. "[You dragged me face first miles throughout the city…I was sure you were going to follow through with killing me after that!]"

"[Me!? You're the one who tried to crack my skull before kicking me over two hundred and thirty eight thousand miles back to Earth. I honestly thought I was dead!]" Chun-Li laughed before wincing in pain. She glanced around the completely obliterated battle ground. "[Guess we had more power left in us then we thought.]"

"[Understatement…damn… I'm done for. I want to go home and sleep the rest of the day away.]" Juri muttered before rolling over to her chest. She gritted her teeth as she began to drag herself to the downed Chun-Li. Her left eye was closed as blood slid down her cheek. Chun-Li looked up in confusion when she saw Juri's face hovering over hers.

"[What are you doing?]" Chun-Li asked with a frown as she watched the woman strain herself to remain conscious much like she herself was doing.

"[Listen I don't know much, but Spider-Man is in trouble.]" Juri said with a visible frown. "[Queenie said something about being able to beat him because she found out how to truly use something called the Web of Life before him. Whatever that thing is, Spider-Man still doesn't know how to truly use it…you need to get to him now.]"

"[Thanks for the information, but I'm in the same shape as you right now.]" Chun-Li said with a frown making Juri smirk tiredly before placing her forehead to Chun-Li's with her eyes closed.

"[I can't give you much without killing myself, but I can at least get you to your feet.]" Juri said confusing the hell out of Chun-Li. Suddenly Juri's left eye snapped open in a purple blaze making Chun-Li release a startled gasp as she felt a foreign chi course through her body. It wasn't long before she felt the power cut off, but when it did her still sore body somehow had a feeling of completeness. Chun-Li winced slightly as she shakily stood up. Juri collapsed and rolled to her back before looking up at Chun-Li weakly.

"[Juri…]"

"[Sorry I couldn't give you more but you took a lot out of me.]" Juri said with a small smile. "[You probably feel weak as hell right now.]"

"[No.]" Chun-Li said as she shook her head before looking at her right hand with a smile before clenching it tightly. "[I honestly don't think I've felt better.]"

"[Don't lose.]" Juri said with a weak glare. "[I'm the only one allowed to defeat you you.]"

"[Of course.]" Chun-Li said with a wry smile which was returned by Juri before she finally closed her eyes and fell into blissful unconsciousness.

"[This fight might be the toughest we've had …they may not be strong but they can definitely play on both Spider-Man's weaknesses and my own.]" Chun-Li thought with a frown. "[Still, we need to overcome it like we always do.]"

With that, Chun-Li limped off to her next battle she was apprehensive at first but as she felt the power of her most bitter rival-turned ally course through her she found herself positive that she could handle whatever else was left to come.

-A few minutes later: With Spider-Man

"I am not going to lie, you've impressed me with how long you've lasted but this act is coming to an end." Adriana said as she stood a few feet away from a kneeling Spider-Man. "You've exhausted your reserves and are too tired to even hope to defeat me. Give up so that I may do what's right for our people."

"You know what tends to happen to people who tell me to give up?" Spider-Man asked curiously as he shakily stood up. "They lose." Spider-Man said knowingly making Adriana scoff. "I've always beaten you in the end and now is no different!"

"You've always had help; you can't beat me alone, Spider-Man." The Queen said as she narrowed her eyes.

"Then it's a good thing he's not alone then isn't it?" A voice spoke up and they looked up to see a battle scarred Talon leap off the roof of a nearby building and land next to Spider-Man in a crouch. "Guess history is going to repeat itself." Talon said as she stood up with a weak smirk making Adriana glare at her. It was then that Chun-Li appeared next to them in a blur of speed.

"Damn, I'm late aren't I?" Chun-Li muttered as she brushed her long hair back out of her eyes.

"No, in fact you are just in time." Talon answered truthfully.

"Glad to see you Chun-Li...but does that mean that-" Spider-Man stopped when the woman held up her hand to silence him.

"No, she's alive too…in the end we just couldn't go through with it." Chun-Li said with a small smile making Spider-Man sigh in relief and making Talon tsk.

"Damn, I owe Daken five grand."

"What? You betted on me killing Juri?" Chun-Li asked curiously making Talon avert her eyes. "Wait…you betted on Juri didn't you? What the hell Laura!?"

"I figured I was overdue for a tragedy…seemed like a safe bet." Talon said seriously before returning her glare to Adriana. "Now how about you give up, we all know how this is going to end."

"Hey aren't we missing Illyana?" Chun-Li suddenly asked and as if hearing her, a stepping disk suddenly appeared on the ground. Slowly a tired Magik rose from the portal with an unconscious Alice impaled on her blade. Magik was covered in what looked like bite wounds of varying sizes. She weakly removed her blade from the young woman, leaving no wound in the process, and let her body fall to the ground.

"What do you know Adriana; I guess when you have a team like mine you don't have to worry about backup." Spider-Man quipped as Magik weakly walked over to Talon.

"Illy-"Talon was cut off when the blonde woman suddenly shoved the Soulsword into her hands. "What?"

"I have enough venom running through me to take out Hulk." Magik muttered with an eye twitch as a steaming purple liquid seeped from her wounds. "The only reason I'm even alive right now is due to some mixture of a miracle and some powerful healing magic." With that Magik raised her hands. "I'm only a liability at this point and you need all the power you can get. I'm out." Talon had to close her eyes as Magik suddenly disappeared in a bright light.

"Huh…well…at least her priorities are straight." Spider-Man said as he scratched the side of his head.

"Three on one…" Adriana muttered with narrowed eyes before smirking. "Fine, allow me to even it out then!" Adriana shouted as she cupped her hands over her heart.

*Ba-dump*

Golden flames erupted from her eyes as she was cocooned by golden webs.

*KA-BOOOOOOOM*

Team Amazing shut their eyes when the cocoon suddenly exploded as a harsh light blinded them. When it died down, the three heroes rubbed their eyes as a large shadow was sat over them.

HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER!

The Spider-Queen!

"YOU SHALL ALL FALL BEFORE THE MIGHT OF THE SPIDER-QUEEN!" The Queen boomed as she towered over Team Amazing in her colossal form which she had used to fight Mephisto. Her body had easily risen above the nearby buildings and the mask-less members of Team Amazing blinked owlishly at her.

"I've fought bigger." Chun-Li muttered as she stood with her team mates and gazed at the large form of the Queen.

"I've killed scarier." Talon piped up.

"I've had sex with her." Spider-Man added making his team mates turn to him curiously.

"Like that?" Chun-Li asked in concern as she gestured towards the colossal Spider-Queen making Spider-Man shudder.

"I don't like to talk about it."

"[That poor bastard…]" Chun-Li muttered to herself before clenching her fist and releasing a glare at Adriana. "[Her energy is focusing at a single point within her body…I understand.]" Chun-Li glanced at Talon to see her frowning in thought as well. "Laura…you feel it too don't you?"

"Yes, can't say I'm surprised." Talon muttered before glancing back at Spider-Man. "Spider-Man, rest. We'll take over for a bit."

"What!? You two are even more damaged than me!" Spidey said incredulously.

"HA!" Chun-Li barked out a laugh even as blood spilt from the various cuts on her body as she gave Adriana a vicious grin. "I'm just getting started!" Chun-Li said as she clapped her hands together as Talon spun the Soulsword in her right hand.

"Don't underestimate us." Talon said simply as she kneeled to the ground and stabbed the blade into it.

"Enough talk, you two are in the way." The Spider-Queen said imperiously before slamming her right arm towards them, intent on knocking them out so that she could deal with her mate.

*BOOOOM!*

"What!?" The Spider-Queen questioned as she was forced to step back as twin pillars of golden light and fire erupted in front of her.

-With Chun-Li-

"[Yin…Yang…Wuji…]" Chun-Li muttered from within the pillar of light as she felt power explode with each word. She smirked as she felt Juri's chi rush throughout her body and glanced up at the Spider-Queen. "[Taiji! Body of the Monkey King!]" Her irises faded away as her eyes shone bright white with chi as she reached an entirely new level of serenity.

-Talon's mindscape-

A violet eyed Talon stood surrounded by three ebony haired women that were lying on their backs with their eyes closed. Talon's eyes were completely engulfed by a bright blue light as all three of the women snapped their eyes open.

-With The Avengers-

"How can Laura keep fighting?" Sarah asked incredulously. To say that she was floored by her daughter's power would be an understatement.

"She's a monster." Daken said with a feral grin gaining her attention.

"Not only her but Chun-Li too." Deadpool piped up. "They're the people's choice, a team solely created by their popularity. No matter what the obstacle, no matter how big, together they can't be stopped! Though the Queen is still no pushover, in the end Spidey will probably have to step up to deal with her." Deadpool explained making the woman turn back to the screen with a worried expression.

"I know I don't have the right to ask this Laura, but please be okay…" Sarah thought in concern before she felt a strong arm wrap around her.

"Why do you look so concerned?" Daken asked with laugh before smirking. "Clone or not, she's still my little sister and she beat me. If she lost now I'd find a way to kick her ass myself!"

-With Talon & Chun-LI-

Talon's body turned pitch black as bright blue sparks of energy erupted from it as her armor began to appear on her body. Suddenly her body began to increase in size as the energy sparked more erratically. Spider-Man had to shield his eyes from the intense light his team mates were giving off.

*BOOOOOOM*

When the light died down, Spider-Man gaped from behind his mask as he stared at a colossal pitch black and armored Talon whom now had pitch black horns coming out of the sides of her head. Next to her was a giant golden ethereal armored monkey that had shining white eyes. The monkey could be seen grinning in anticipation for a fight as it clenched a golden poled tightly in its left hand. In the monkey's chest, Spider-Man could make out the form of a white eyed Chun-Li.

Here Comes Some New Challengers!

Talon: Last Stand! By finding synergy between her souls and Magik's power, Combatant Talon has shattered her limit!

Chun-Li: Last Stand! By utilizing all four aspects of chi within her body, combatant Chun-Li has shattered her limit!

Spider-Man actually took a step back as he felt their power wash over him. For a second the colossal beings seemed to be replaced by the images of Talon and Chun-Li when team Amazing was first formed. Spider-Man shook his head as the images returned to normal.

"They've grown….and not just physically…They never did need me to protect them with my plans…" Spider-Man mused before swinging off to a safer place. A ring of hell fire surrounded the city as Talon pointed a colossal Soulsword at the Spider-Queen.

"THERE IS NO ESCAPE!" Talon said coldly. Chun-Li pounded her right fist on her chest causing the armored monkey to mimic her actions, creating a small shock wave. Both Chun-Li and the Monkey smirked before the fighter disappeared in a blur of speed. The Spider-Queen ducked as a colossal golden fist of pure chi sailed over her head.

"Fast!" The Spider-Queen thought in anger before crouching and leaping miles into the air. Chun-Li frowned and followed leapt into the air with the Spider-Queen.

*CRACK!*

The back of Talon's armor cracked open as tendrils of darkness freed themselves before turning into a pair of demonic wings. With a mighty flap that sent Spider-Man, who was now on top of a nearby building, crashing back Talon flew up after them.

"SPINNING BIRD KICK!" Chun-Li shouted as she spun rapidly towards the Spider-Queen whom barely maneuvered out of the way when a colossal Talon flew behind her and attempted to cleave through her with her large blade only to miss when the giant queen leaned back slightly in midair.

"WEB OF LIFE!" The Queen boomed as an enormous golden Spider web appeared over the city. The Spider-Queen landed on the giant web and glared at a now floating Talon and Chun-Li who was also crouching on the golden construct. The fighter wasted no time and quickly dashed towards the Spider-Queen. Leaping high into the sky, the monkey twirled its staff before flipping forward and slamming it down on the Spider-Queen.

"[MONKEY KING'S STAFF!]"

*CRACK*

"DO YOU THINK THAT YOU CAN FACE ME!?" Adriana questioned in anger as she parried the staff with her giant arms. She gritted her teeth in rage as she felt her Exo-skeleton begin to crack. Her eyes burned gold as she began to push back the fighter's attack. "YOU CANNOT DEFEAT THE POWER OF MY BONDS!" The Spider-Queen boomed as she pushed Chun-Li back with a mighty shove. As Chun-Li tried to recover, the Spider-Queen took a deep breath and released the most powerful screech she could at Chun-Li. Luckily for the fighter, Talon swooped down and intercepted the screech with a powerful roar of her own.

*KRACKA-BOOOOOOOM*

Every window in the city shattered from the explosion that resulted from the two sonic attacks colliding. Though angered by the fact her attack was intercepted, the Queen quickly took a deep breath before releasing a large golden ball from her mouth towards Talon at unmatchable speeds.

"WEB BALL OF LIFE!" The Spider-Queen roared as the large attack slammed into the feral, cocooning her from her neck down in golden webbing, which sent her slamming to the side of the Alchemax building. The Spider-Queen rushed forward to knock the woman out only for Talon to take a deep breath and released a powerful stream of hell fire that actually managed to take out Adriana's left arm. Howling in pain, the Spider-Queen leapt back only for her spider-sense to go haywire.

*Rumble*

Looking up Adriana watched in confusion as the entire sky turned pitch black with the darkest storm clouds she had ever seen while sparks of electricity shot throughout them. She glanced to the east to find Chun-Li standing on top of the Daily Bugle spinning her huge staff wildly.

"I WON'T LET YOU FINISH!" Adriana boomed as she shot towards the fighter. Talon struggled to free herself but her bindings held strong.

"Web Swing!" A very familiar voice shouted and she looked up to see Spider-Man free fall from his web-line towards her with his stingers unsheathed. Spider-Man landed on her shoulder in a crouch as he stabbed his right stinger into the webbing. With a roar, Spider-Man ran down her body as fast as he could, destroying the webbing as he did so. "Talon!"

"ON IT!" Talon shouted as she blasted off towards the Queen when she was freed. The Queen growled when she felt her spider-sense blaze and turned around just in time to see Talon attempt to spear her with the Soulsword. Time slowed down as Adriana stepped to the side to avoid the slash and prepared to spear the woman with her remaining arm. "Damn even this body isn't strong enough to overcome her Spider-sense…what can I do?" Talon thought in desperation.

It was then that she could very faintly hear the familiar howl of a wolf in the distance.

["To make stronger you must first destroy."]

The feral's eyes narrowed in determination as Ameterasu's words rung throughout her very being.

"WEAPON X: OKAMI!" Talon shouted just as the Queen's arm reached her throat. The Queen watched in horror as the feral's body suddenly exploded into hundreds, if not thousands, of pitch black wolves that ran over her body. All of the wolves snarled, bit, and clawed at the Spider-Queen. One wolf, however, that was garbed in armor that ran towards the Queen's face with the Soulsword clenched tightly in its mouth. The wolf leapt towards the woman and turned back into a humanoid Talon, whom stabbed the Soulsword through the Queen's forehead.

*SLAM!*

Chun-Li suddenly slammed the bottom of the pole into the roof of the building causing the clouds to part to reveal a bright light.

"[WRATH OF THE MONKEY KING!]" Chun-Li said coldly as a single bolt of lightning fell from the sky and slammed into the Spider-Queen.

*KRACKA-BOOOOM*

The pain was mind boggling for Adriana but it wasn't enough to take her out. The Soulsword had affected her just enough to prevent her to dodge the attack, she was sure that once she regained her bearings-

*KRACKA-BOOOOM*

"WHAT!?" Adriana thought in confusion as a second bolt slammed into her.

*KRACKA-BOOOOM*

The onslaught continued for minutes as each bolt began to descend at a quicker pace and twice the power of the previous one.

-Minutes later-

"I…I've never fought this hard in my life." Chun-Li said weakly as she limped towards the smoking form of the queen that was showing no signs of life.

"I hurt in ways I didn't know were possible." Talon muttered as she supported herself against a nearby building.

"Oh my God…did you two kill her!?" Spider-Man asked in horror as he landed on the scene. There were absolutely no signs of life coming from the downed Queen.

"N-no…she was going through a change, we could sense it." Chun-Li answered.

"We dealt with her colossal form for you…but you have to be the one to finish this fight…I don't think I can recover any energy fast enough to aid you." Talon said as her vision blurred. Despite knowing they couldn't fight, however, both women still stood ready to help fight for as long as they could.

*CRACK*

A large vertical crack appeared on the Queen's large head as a hand covered in a black bone like substance ripped free followed by another. The fingers on the hands looked as though they were miniature daggers dipped in blood. Soon the head shattered, and a figured walked out that made Team Amazing widen their eyes in apprehension.

The Queen gazed at them as her body was covered in a pitch black and red Exo-skeleton that left little to the imagination. Her irises were blood red and the black markings that were under each of her eyes were now the same color as her eyes and extended down each of her cheeks. In contrast to her eyes, her mind gem was still shining a vibrant blue on her forehead. (LIAG Helpful info: Look I'm going to level with you, my vocabulary isn't expansive enough to even attempt to describe her Exo-skeleton in less than a page so I'm just going to make our lives easier and tell you it looks like Elise's from League of Legends.)

HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER!

The Spider-Queen: Last Stand! Combatant Adriana Soria has evolved into a true Spider-Queen and shattered her limit!

"So this is the power Elise will have one day…" Adriana muttered as she felt herself become intoxicated by Tantric energy. "My bonds are causing so much love to flow through me that it hurts…but in a good way."

"Don't let her appearance fool you; she's much stronger than before be careful." Chun-Li muttered. Adriana's lips parted slightly as she ran her tongue over her incredibly sharp fangs while two long black spikes slowly slid from her wrists.

"Do you know what's interesting?" Adriana questioned as she kept her eyes trained on Spider-Man as she walked towards Team Amazing. "Despite everything I've gone through because of the monkeys, the pain of giving birth to Elise, and all of the powerful attacks I have endured…the thing that causes me the most pain and agony…"Adriana trailed off as she suddenly vanished.

Spider-Man tensed as he felt someone embrace him from behind.

"…is your love." Adriana whispered into his ear. Talon and Chun-Li turned around in shock only to cough up blood when a stab wound appeared on their side along with an after-image of Adriana. Soon more and more after-images appeared around them as more wounds opened on their bodies.

"No!" Spider-Man shouted in horror.

"Do not mourn, they'll survive…I love you far too much to cause you that sort of pain." Adriana said softly. "But you need to learn, people are going to be hurt no matter which one of us wins today…so why not go along with my plan? Sure a few humans will die in the process but that's better than hurting those closest to you."

"Our people don't need to cause death to the innocent in order to be left alone!" Adriana snorted as she released her mate.

"Look at the mutants my king, if you think for a second that I will let our daughter endure even a second of that hatred then you truly are a foolish spider. Though I suppose this talking is wasted on you, my words alone cannot convey my feelings accurately so I will let my actions do so." Adriana said coldly as Spider-Man leapt back away from her. "It's time we finished this struggle."

"I understand your feelings all too well Adriana…" Spider-Man trailed off as he slid into his fighting stance. "It's you who cannot understand mine! We live in a world where expecting the worst is the most realistic outcome. You need to take a leap of faith Adriana. No it won't be easy, but we can get through this as a race without bloodshed! Don't let the sins of the past cloud your vision and prevent you from seeing a brighter future!" Spider-Man shouted righteously as his Exo-Skeleton appeared on him.

"You're naïve." Adriana said coldly.

"And you're blind!" Spider-Man countered angrily as his golden Spider-emblem began to pulse with bright flashes of light.

"The Web is reacting to him; he's starting to gain power from his bonds…" Adriana thought with a frown as Spider-Man looked down at his hands to find two gold web-lines in his hands. "Still he doesn't know how to use it." Glancing back he saw that they we're connected to the chests of the downed Talon and Chun-LI. Chun-Li groaned in pain as Talon forced her body to roll onto her back. The feral lifted her head weakly and Spider-Man could see a look of realization appear on her face.

*Flash back*

"With this hand of mine, I reach out and grab these bonds that I have collected over the course of my life…" Talon's eyes widened more when she saw Cammy grabbing a multitude of golden web-lines. "And I take their power for myself." Cammy finished as she ripped her hand down causing her arm to explode in a harsh golden light.

*Flashback End*

"Spider-Man! Pull it out!" Talon shouted making Adriana widen her eyes in shock.

"How-"Adriana wondered in confusion before remembering that Cammy was the feral's opponent. The Queen gritted her teeth in anger. "I won't let you!"

~Web-Rush!~

"Shit!" Spider-Man cursed mentally as he tried to decide his next course of action. Even with time moving incredibly slow to him, Adriana's stingers were already merely inches from his body. "If I go left, she'll get me, I can't duck, and if I even attempt to side step I lose…" Spider-Man thought quickly before gritting his teeth and tightening his grip on the web lines. "Here goes nothing!" Spider-Man thought finally before ripping the lines towards him with all of his might.

Both Talon and Chun-Li saw a flash of white flash through their minds as a wave of ecstasy coursed through their very souls that was so powerful that I rendered them completely unconscious.

*FLASH!*

Adriana was forced to leap back as a harsh light erupted from Spider-Man and blinded her.

As her vision returned, Adriana shook her head and gazed at Spider-Man with narrowed eyes. His black armored body was surrounded by a harsh golden light and golden flames seemed to be spilling from his eyes and mouth. A bead of sweat slid down her face as she felt his power.

Here comes a new challenger…

The Great Weaver!

"Such power…just from two bonds!?" Adriana thought incredulously. "Is…is this the strength of true love?" The woman wondered with a frown before glaring at her mate as crimson web -lines appeared in her hands. "It doesn't matter; the strength of their love will never match the hatred I have for humanity!" Adriana shouted as she ripped the web-lines down. Her body felt as though it were on fire as the hatred she shared which each of her enemies burned her very being.

*Flash!*

Spider-Man narrowed his eyes slightly as her saw his mate engulfed by a red pillar of pure chaotic energy. He closed his eyes as he felt the very essence of his teammates within him. Mentally he pictured each of them placing a hand on his shoulder and telling him that everything would be alright. Slowly he opened his eyes as he gazed at the woman.

"Don't underestimate my team." Spider-Man said calmly but firmly.

BGM: Dance Dance- Fallout Boy

"You are a fool if you think that the love of two can match the hatred of mankind." Adriana said coldly. "The hatred of every human that wants either myself or our people dead flow through me, thousands upon thousands of bonds are at my control, you can't win! Do not make me hurt you!" Adriana muttered making Spider-Man tilt his head.

"Then let's dance." Spider-Man said with a shrug.

A moment passed.

They both disappeared.

*BOOOOM!*

-With the Avengers-

"What the hell is going on!?" Hawkeye shouted in confusion as countless explosions rung throughout the entire city. The ground was trembling as buildings began to collapse.

"Son of a bitch…" Tony muttered as his eyes widened slightly when he stared at the screen. The entire city was covered with thousands of after-images of both Spider-Man and the queen in various battle positions.

"Even before this tournament Web-head has always been fast and his reflexes were even faster. Seeing as his strength has been boosted even further…" Wolverine trailed off before shaking his head. "I can't believe he's just become even more annoying to fight." Off to the side Valeria frowned when she noticed Elise staring out of the broken window and out towards the city as her crimson irises trembled.

"Wait…is she…watching them?" Valeria wondered as she gazed out the window. "She's imprinted on them…but to think she can keep up with anything going at that speed…she really is a different breed."

-With Spider-Man and Adriana-

The Queen landed on the side of a sky scraper and back flipped just as Spider-Man crashed through where she was standing. She continued to back flip up the building before leaping up and spinning around over the roof. She gritted her teeth as Spider-Man crashed through the roof and shot at her with his stingers drawn.

"You're right their bonds alone don't match yours…" Spider-Man began as she fired a web-line towards the roof and web-zipped towards him with her right stinger ripping free. When she stabbed forward, her eyes widened in disbelief as it phased through him. "They are much stronger!" Spider-Man declared from behind her as ten golden web-lines fired at her from the tips of each of his fingertips, cocooning her in a golden web. "Divine Web!" Spider-Man shouted as he began to somersault backwards at rapid speeds, spinning Adriana around rapidly before releasing her and send her crashing down into the streets below.

*FABOOOOOOOOM*

Just like with the final collision between Juri and Chun-Li, a dome of light erupted from her point of impact and decimated everything around her. Spider-Man crossed his arms in front him as the blast of energy engulfed him.

-Moments later-

"*Cough*" Blood spilled from Adriana's lips as she shakily pulled herself free from the debris. Slowly she stood up before crashing down to a knee when a wave of pain coursed through her body. Her Exo-skeleton was damaged beyond repair and her vision blurred as she saw Spider-Man walk towards her calmly as his body continued to burn with a golden flame. "Why…why am I so weak?"

"You're not…but your views are." Spider-Man stated making her look up towards him in askance. "Your plan was to take out humanity before they could hurt our people. You wanted to fight fire with fire…but what you fail to realize is that's how every conflict occurs on this planet. If you succeeded what would you do when one of the other species challenged our people's right to rule this planet?"

"…"

"Exactly you would do the same thing to them, we'd be no better than the humans because we'll be doing the same thing. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting something to change…Adriana that's called insanity." Spider-Man said softly making her look down sadly. "Adriana you need help…you need to deal with this anger inside of you. I'm willing to stick with you every step of the way but you are going to have to want to change. If not for yourself then do it for Elise."

"How…how are you so sure that your way will work?" Adriana asked quietly.

"There is a universal balance between love and chaos, because of this you made the mistake of thinking that by using more chaotic bonds you would over power me. Love is and has always been countless times stronger than chaos Adriana."

"If that's true then how is there a balance!?"

"Because there is so little love in the universe." Spider-Man said quietly shutting her up. "Imagine how much better we could make this world if we embrace the power of love and apply to our people's survival. We can survive without bloodshed and when the day comes that we can share this planet equally with the other species…I want you by my side, but you have to change." Spider-Man said firmly as he held out his hand. "We need a strong Queen."

Adriana shut her eyes tightly as she thought of all the pain she had endured in her life. Her shoulders trembled as she thought of her daughter and her people's smiling faces. Tears slid down her cheeks as she opened her eyes and slowly grabbed his hand.

"Spider-Man…please…help me." Spider-Man smirked as his power engulfed her and repaired her Exo-skeleton as he helped her to her feet.

"Of course, after all, I'm a super hero. It's kind of my job." Spider-Man chuckled as he embraced his mate. Adriana looked up at him with a small smile and for a moment she actually felt at peace with herself for the first time since the Second World War.

"You win." The Queen said as she buried her head in the crook of his neck as he rubbed her back softly.

"Wow…" A voice spoke up and turned to see rebuff whistling in appreciation at the damage. "I have a lot of shit to fix…" Rebuff muttered as she shook her head. "Well ladies and gentlemen…" Rebuff trailed off as she turned to a screen with a large grin. "I got shit to fix, but we're ending today's fight with Team Amazing moving forward to the semi-finals after a hard fought battle! We still have to wait for another team to finish their eight tiers before we can have the semi-final match but let's hear it for the people's choice!"

Around the world there was much rejoicing…

-The Next Day: Emora: Throne Room-

Mary Jane sat impassively on her throne clad in her demonic armor as Natasha, Silver, and Viper entered the throne room followed by a group of black clad soldiers whom were all aiming black assault rifles at the women. The women glare up at MJ fiercely making the woman roll her eyes before waving the soldiers off.

"You all are dismissed." MJ drawled as the soldiers looked a bit unsure.

"But your majesty-"

"I said you're dismissed." MJ repeated as her Hyrkanian blade appeared in her hands before burning red with a crimson aura. "These three couldn't even hope to hurt me. Now be gone."

They didn't need to be told twice and with a quick salute they evacuated the room. A tense moment passed before MJ snorted and released a small laugh.

"Really…? A coup? You do realize that I can't be beaten right?" MJ questioned curiously as she raised her right index finger as her power gem shone slightly. "I've finally gained an understanding of how this works. I literally have limitless power…can you even comprehend that?" MJ questioned curiously. "I can shatter adamantium like glass with a simple flick of my finger."

"You've lost your mind." Silver muttered with a glare. "Did you forget what Spider-Man said? With great power comes great responsibility!"

"Spider-Man doesn't know what power is." MJ chuckled darkly.

"You're sending this nation to ruin!" Natasha shouted incredulously.

"Regimes fall every day."

"MJ, you need help!" Viper said seriously. "Look at yourself! That thing on your arm has driven you insane!"

"Insane? No I don't think I've ever been saner." MJ said before a cruel smirk graced her lips. "As much as I…care…for you this cannot go unpunished. I need to send a message but I will be merciful, therefore, whoever was in charge of this little rebellion will be executed the rest of you will be banished. Now I will ask once…" MJ trailed off as she stood up. "Who was in charge?" Natasha gave her a glare that would have frozen hell over if given the chance. MJ idly thought she was going to admit it when something unexpected happened.

*THOOOOM*

"Me." A voice spoke up as the large doors fell down. MJ's eyes widened in shock as May strode in while the corridor behind her was littered with the unconscious bodies of the guards. "So, are you going to execute me?" May questioned and despite wearing her mask, MJ swore she could feel her daughter's glare.

"May…"MJ whispered with her voice laced with sorrow and betrayal.

"Mom, look at yourself! You're becoming a monster that's destroying this country and its people!" May shouted in anger. "Don't let that armor control you…fight if off and together we can look for a way to remove it…please I want my mom back." May finished sadly.

"May…you know I love you…" MJ began as something akin to sorrow flash through her eyes. "But this can't go unpunished…"

"I didn't want to believe it but you really are too far gone." May said quietly as she clenched her fists. "I love you mom, but I've only known you for a year don't think I am afraid to do what needs to be done! I was the legacy of the greatest hero ever years before I met you!"

"Then you know what comes next."

"I do." May said firmly as she looked at the other women in the room. "Don't interfere… this is far more than any of you can handle."

"But-"

"She's right." Natasha interrupted Viper with a frown. "We can't do anything to MJ and she's the strongest one out of all of us."

BGM: Stand Up- Yashin

"Let's go!" May shouted as she blasted forward and leapt at her mother whom released a powerful slash at the young hero. May flipped forward and landed on the side of the blade before spinning around and delivering a power roundhouse kick to her mother's head. The Empress didn't budge as her vibranium blade appeared in her left hand. May flipped back and landed in a crouch as she glared at the woman.

*SCHTIK!*

Two stingers sprung from her wrists as a pulse of tantric energy coursed through her body.

"Crawler Assault!" May shouted as she blurred forward and stabbed her right stinger forward towards her mother's stomach only for the witch blade to block before it could make contact. Gritting her teeth, May released more tantric energy and began to attack MJ from all directions causing the older red-head to be surrounded by after-images. MJ growled slightly as she began to slash at her daughter viciously at growing speeds as she attempted to land an attack on the young spider.

"Come on May! That thing can't keep up forever can it!?" May questioned as every time she attempted to attack any of MJ's exposed flesh the armor would grow and block the attack before it could land. Idly she noticed her costume begin to tear as her mother's attacks got closer and closer. May cursed when her mother's body was completely covered by the Witchblade. "Shit, now or never!" May thought as she spun her heel and leaned back just in time for the blade to pass over her head. Seeing her opportunity, May lunged forward and aimed her stinger directly towards MJ's face.

*CRUNCH*

May froze as she looked down to find MJ's fist buried in her stomach. She barely had time to cough up blood before her body found itself catapulting through the walls of the throne room.

"It's over." MJ stated quietly as she turned around to face the horrified women. She took a step before pausing as she felt the castle tremble and crack.

-Outside the castle-

*FABOOOOOM!*

The castle exploded in a harsh light and at its epicenter was May crouching with her fist planted firmly on the ground. The princess gritted her teeth as she glared up at her mother whom had begun screaming in agony as the light seemed to be causing her intense pain.

"Even with my unity I doubt I could defeat her in a single minute but…The darkness in her…it's weak to the light." May realized as the lenses on her mask began to crack. "If that's how it is then…" May trailed off as a golden flaming energy blasted free from her lenses as she smirked making MJ release a scream of pain. "I'll shine even brighter!" May thought in determination as her power increased dramatically.

"AHHHHHHH!"MJ screeched as she was engulfed by May's growing aura which slowly but surely began to grow in size.

"LIFE FLARE!"

*FLASH*

-MJ's mindscape-

Mary Jane could be seen floating on her back in an endless void of darkness as she stared ahead blankly.

*Crack…*

Her eyes widened slightly as a white crack appeared in the void above her.

"May…"

Slowly, she raised her right hand to touch it only for dark tendrils to wrap around her body and drag her further into the abyss. Tears slid down her cheeks as she was pulled further and further away from the light.

"...Forgive me."

-One minute later-

May fell to her back in exhaustion as her power finally faded. The amount of power that had coursed through her was insane and unlike anything she had ever felt before.

"I couldn't even reign it in…I just hope that was enough to remove the darkness-" May's thoughts halted as her spider-sense buzzed wildly.

"That was a good attempt, but all you've done is make me stronger." A cold voice spoke up and may watched with wide eyes as a demonic figure stood over her. It was wearing a heavy suit of pitch black armor and had large black wings ripping from its back. The sky darkened as it began to rain making the figure look up as the droplets landed on its emotionless face. May shut her eyes in despair as she realized that her mother was truly gone.

"I failed…" May realized as Natasha, Silver, and Viper pulled themselves out of the rubble only to find themselves face to face with the horrible scene.

"Such talent…you would have been a perfect host in a few years but it seems you have sided with the light…such a waste." MJ said with a sneer as her armor forged a black sword in her right hand. "Good bye." MJ said as she brought the blade down making May shut her eyes in fear.

*CLANG!*

"Now, don't you think this is going a little far?" A feminine voice spoke and MJ narrowed her eyes to find her blade blocked by a sword that was wrapped in bandages. Looking up she found herself staring at a woman whom was shrouded in a brown hooded cloak which casted a shadow over her face and hid her body from view. MJ's eyes narrowed when she saw the mysterious woman frown slightly. "The darkness really has spread throughout you…but it doesn't matter, I can still stop it." The woman said with her smile returning as she pushed MJ away with her blade nearly effortlessly before kneeling down to help May up.

"Who…who are you?" May asked weakly.

"A friend of your father…or I suppose you could say his student. Either way we're close and he sent me to help you out."

"It's no use…" May muttered as she glared at the monster wearing her mother's skin who was still trying to figure out how she was knocked back so easily. "She has all the power you could ever hope for at her finger-tips."

"Ha!" The woman barked out with a laugh. "Did you forget one of the most important lessons from your father? Never give up! Just go stand aside you've done your part. With this blade I will show this monster the light!"

"Milady!" A voice shouted and everyone turned to see what looked like an extremely short man garbed in silver armor and a taller man wearing black armor race into the scene.

"Don't just run off like that Fa-"

"Honestly Dane, I am more than capable of taking care of myself." The woman interrupted half-heartedly.

"Black Knight?" Natasha wondered to herself as she looked at the black armored man. "Why the hell is he here?" It was then that a flash of white light gained everyone's attention as bemused Rebuff appeared on the scene.

"Well what do you know everyone's here. We might get two semi-finalists this week my ratings are going to sky rocket!" Rebuff cheered. "The Crimson Crusade vs. Team Chivalry ha now this will be something to see!"

"You must have lost your damned mind if you think we're fighting with that thing!" Viper shouted angrily as she pointed at the demonic looking MJ.

"Agreed." Natasha said firmly.

"You don't have to; you're already a registered team so the number requirement doesn't really matter too much for you." Rebuff said simply. "It will just be a three on one battle."

"No it won't" The cloaked woman denied. "One on one, me and her."

"Are you crazy?" Black Knight questioned in disbelief.

"I cannot allow this my fair lady." The shorter man said firmly. "I too shall partake in this battle!"

"This will be a three on one fight to the finish. No deaths are permanent." Rebuff began as she stepped in between Team Chivalry and MJ. "Before we start, let's get a closer look at Team chivalry. First up we have…"

BLACK KNIGHT!

"A Physicist and master swordsman, he is the latest in a long line of heroes and villains known as the Black Knight. As the modern heroic Black Knight, he has been an Avenger, a Hero for Hire, a member of Excalibur and the Champion of Avalon!" Rebuff explained as she turned to a screen. "Will he continue the legacy of the Black Knight? Find out soon!" Rebuff said with a grin. "Now next we have…"

ARTHUR!

"Don't let his size fool you; Arthur is not to be underestimated! Arthur has gone through the six gates of Hell to save his love and has defeated Satan, his world's Loki, and the Demon Emperor Sardius! All three of them had been the ruler of Hell when he fought them! Seriously, Arthur will fuck you up!"

"Huzzah!" Arthur barked out loudly with a booming laughter looking far too pleased with himself.

"Great…like his ego needed another boost." Black Knight said with a face-palm.

"Finally we have the leader of Team Chivalry-"Rebuff stopped suddenly with wide-eyes. "Uhh…actually…I forgot who the hell their last member is."

"Seriously?" Black Knight questioned incredulously. "Don't you keep a record of this kind of thing? I mean what's preventing someone from re-entering the tournament with a new team if you can't remember who is on which team!?"

"…"

"Unbelievable." Black Knight muttered as he shook his head at the woman's lack of preparation.

"A-anyway the leader of Team Chivalry…" Rebuff continued with a nervous chuckle.

"Wow." The cloaked woman muttered sounding slightly miffed. Rebuff scratched her head sheepishly before stepping back.

"Right well…it'll come to me eventually." Rebuff chuckled. "Anyway…BEGIN!"

"You two stand aside, I'll handle her-"The leader of Team Chivalry was cut off when Arthur suddenly exploded in a flash of light. Gold plating had appeared over his normal suit causing waves of mystical power to flow off of him. With a battle cry, Arthur charged forward with his lance aimed towards the Dark empress. In his eyes she was just another dark overlord and he smirked to himself as he felt the familiar rush of battle flow through his body.

"I shall not fall!" Arthur thought righteously as MJ crossed her arms and watched the little man charge her.

"Damn it Arthur…" The cloaked woman muttered in exasperation.

"He just ran in…" Black Knight said incredulously.

"I do not fear you Dark Empress!" Arthur shouted with a victorious laugh as he leapt into the sky. "I'VE FOUGHT GHOULS AND GOBLIN-"

*CRASH*

Arthur was cut off as his body was speared by countless tendrils of black metal ripping from the Empress' armor.

"This is why I told you two to quit, you two stand no chance." The cloaked woman said dryly before suddenly leaping to the side, confusing the hell out of Black Knight at her sudden departure…

-With Black Widow-

Natasha shook her head in dismay as the other women gaped at the seemingly quick battle. They turned their attention to the side when Black Knight and Arthur-who was only wearing a pair of boxers- suddenly, appeared in a large flash of light.

"Alas! I was beaten, if it weren't for the sun shining in my eyes my attack would have landed!" Arthur shouted in despair.

"Bullshit!" Viper shouted at the short man. "The sun? The sky is covered in storm clouds! Don't try to make an excuse for why you got decimated…where the hell is your armor anyway?" Viper finished looking perturbed when she noticed that the knight was only wearing a pair of boxers. Sadly she was completely ignored as Arthur crossed his arms and gazed at the remaining combatants with narrowed eyes.

"Alas my defeat matters not in the end as long as my legacy continues forward! Let's see if the heir of my counterpart from this dimension can best this vile empress." Arthur muttered to himself, confusing everyone but Black Knight.

-With MJ-

"You'll be the first person besides my master to experience my new power first hand." The mysterious woman said as she raised her blade at MJ. "Bear witness to the results of a year of non-stop training!" The woman shouted before charging MJ with both of her hands clenching her blade tightly.

"Hmph, I just hope you are more entertaining than your companions." MJ said darkly as she charged the woman. When the two were within arm's distance of each other, MJ brought her blade down with enough force wipe out mountains.

*CLANG!*

*BOOOOOM!*

Time seemed to slow as the battle ground slowly imploded on itself due to the might of the Dark empress. Slowly but surely, however, MJ's eyes widened in shock as she released a gasp when her blade found itself being knocked back.

"What!?"

"Do not underestimate me." The mysterious woman said coldly as she planted her foot into MJ's chest, sending the woman crash back slightly. The cloaked woman's blade seemed to glow gold faintly underneath its bandages. "The Weaver chose me for a reason." MJ gritted her teeth in anger as a second blade was formed in her left hand before she blasted forward and began swinging savagely.

MJ spun, jumped and flipped all around the cloaked woman as she swung her blades with a godly amount of force that didn't seem to deter her opponent in the slightest. Though the mysterious woman didn't swing with even a fraction of MJ's force she was still able to somehow parry each attack efficiently with both of her hands still clenched on the blades handle.

-With the onlookers-

The shockwaves being released from the blades caused the onlookers to be hit with strong gusts of wind.

"I don't understand, mom's style is much more advanced and dangerous than the other woman's how is she blocking every blow?" May asked perplexed.

"Her feet." Natasha said as she gazed at the fight intently getting a nod from Viper.

"Yup, look at the other woman's footwork." The fighter began as she crossed her arms. "She's anticipating every one of your mother's attacks before she can release them; she almost looks as if she's dancing.

"I'm surprised May." Silver spoke up confusing the teen. "It's the same fighting style you use only with a two-handed sword." May looked closer and sure enough she could see the similarities between the cloaked woman's fighting style and The Way of the Spider."

"The question is, is she a Spider? The only human I know that has footwork on that level and can anticipate attacks that well is Chun-Li." Viper pointed out as the cloaked woman side stepped eight lethal strikes in a row before stepping forward and cleaving off one of MJ's wings with a mighty swing.

"No, she's just extremely good a reading muscle movements." Black Knight answered as his mouth hung open slightly as if stunned by the mysterious woman's skill as Arthur barked out encouraging laughs. "Unbelievable… I didn't last a second. Is Spider-Man really that good of a teacher?"

"Dad…what are you up to?" May wondered with a frown as she turned her attention back to the fight.

-With MJ-

MJ mentally cursed as her blades fell from her hands and quickly summoned her Hyrkanian and Vibranium blades in her hands before stepping forward and bringing both blades down with enough force to level the country only for the other woman to step forward and release a mighty swing towards her blades.

*CRASH!*

MJ watched in shock as her blades shattered to their hilts as the woman twirled her blade once before stabbing it into the ground and using it to lift her body up to deliver a devastating kick to MJ's face which sent her crashing back. Recovering quickly; MJ dropped both of the hilts before raising her hands into the sky.

"GAE BOLG!" MJ demanded as the spear appeared in her hands. "I've had enough of your insolence!" MJ shouted as she released the weapon high into the sky.

*BOOOOOOM*

The spear exploded into a large crimson seal which release countless red needles of death upon the cloaked woman. The cloaked woman gritted her teeth as she raised her sword high above her head with her right hand.

"AVALON!" The cloaked woman shouted causing her blade to shine once again underneath its bandages and cover her with a golden aura that forced any needle that touched her to shatter upon impact. As the needles rained down upon her, her cloak and clothes began to be shredded.

-With Rebuff-

In the safety of her apartment, the announcer looked on with wide eyes as the cloak disappeared allowing her to see who was underneath it.

"Holy shit, how did I forget about her!? She's a political shit storm waiting to happen!"

Here comes a new challenger…

Faiza Hussain!

"What…What are you!?" MJ wondered as she felt the possibility of her losing for the first time in over a year. She gritted her teeth as she glared at the woman whom was now standing in a suit of silver armor.

-With The onlookers-

"Faiza…you are really something else." Black Knight muttered with a fond smile as he gazed at his lover standing tall against the oppressive weapon.

"Who…who is she?" May wondered in awe.

"That, my fair lady, is Faiza Hussain." Arthur said with a look of pride on his face. "She's the legacy of my counterpart in this world. She will be the one to help see that his-no-our dream of a Utopian England is realized for she is the wielder of the Sword of promised victory…in fact…not even I have seen it wielded that splendidly."

"Sword of promised victory…?" Viper questioned before her eyes widened in shock along with Natasha and Silver's.

"You can't be serious…that's the real…" Black Widow trailed of before she turned back to the fight in a stunned silence.

-With Faiza-

I'm going to tell you something my team mate once told me.

Faiza closed her chocolate eyes as Spider-Man's words rung throughout her mind.

Through action, a man becomes a hero.

Faiza shakily raised her left hand to grab onto the hilt of her blade.

Through death, a hero becomes a legend.

She released gasp as a comforting energy filled her body as the image of a warrior garbed in golden armor flashed through her mind. The man was strong but kind with a large amount of armored followers surrounding him but eventually the armored man was killed by his own power hungry son.

Through time, a legend becomes a myth.

Tears fell down her face as she remembered her father telling her stories of King Arthur and his round table before she went to bed.

And by learning from the myth…

Faiza's eyes snapped open with a glare as she gritted her teeth. Waves of golden energy poured off of her as the bandages of her blade burned off revealing a beautiful sword with various intricate desings engraved onto it. The blade its self was now glowing a bright gold as it was held above its latest master's head. Taking a deep breath, Faiza took a single step towards a horrified MJ.

"No, it can't be!" Faiza heard MJ shout making her smirk.

…a man takes action.

"EX-"Faiza shouted loudly.

-Space-

A small beam of light could be seen erupting from the planet just where the country of Emora could be found.

"What do you know; someone's actually found that old thing again." Stan mused to himself as he raised an eyebrow. "And they're a lot better than the last person. A sword that promises victory a placed on a planet full of humans, oh what will I think of next?"

-Olympus-

Zoe was sitting on her throne talking to Hebe when she suddenly gasped and slid on to the floor as tears slid down her cheeks.

"Zoe!" Hebe shouted in alarm. "Are you okay?"

"So…so sublime…" Zoe whispered faintly with a small smile.

-New York-

"[What the hell!?]" Chun-Li shouted in alarm when she felt the ground shake.

"You can do it Faiza…you can do it." Spider-Man thought to himself.

-More importantly…In the United Kingdom-

Much like with the citizens of Ireland when they saw Gae Bolg, the inhabitants of the UK who were watching the fight-including the Queen- found themselves shouting…

"WHAT THE BLOODY HELL!?"

-Back with Faiza-

"-CALIBUURRRRRR!" Faiza roared as she brought the blade down causing a wave of holy light to race forward. MJ watched on in horror as Gae Bolg's seal was shattered before releasing a scream of pain as she found herself engulfed by the light.

MJ looked on with wide-eyes as the crack of light grew and grew until half of the void was filled with light. A woman with red hair clad in golden armor floated down from the light with a smile and helped MJ to her feet and felt the suffocating sensation of the darkness fade from her being.

"It's time mother, embrace the light and show the world your glory!" The woman said with a smile as she began to guide her mother to the light. "Under your reign all darkness will vanish and the universe shall know everlasting peace."

"Thank you I-"MJ stopped suddenly as a sense of foreboding filled her being a few moments later she felt a tingling sensation in her eyes. "Ahh! What is this!?" MJ shouted as her eyes began to burn.

"Do not worry mother that is just light cleansing you of your mortal flaws. It's conditioning you to be ready mentally for what you have to do."

BGM: END

"What I have to do?" MJ repeated in confusion as she jerked her hand back making angelic woman frown slightly.

"Of course, cleansing the world of darkness is not always black and white. You will be forced to do things you aren't normally comfortable with but fret not, it'll be over soon." The woman smiled again. "It's a shame that father will not stand with us, but even we cannot win all battles. Once you engulf the universe with your light all will be fine and the impure that are filled with 'human' erroneous tendencies will be eradicated."

"That's not peace…that's genocide." MJ muttered in horror as she took a step back before stumbling as she almost fell back into the black void.

"Now mother don't label things as if you are one of them. You are above those mortals now." The Woman said with a soft smiled as she extended her hand.

"So either I be suffocated by darkness or blinded by light!?" MJ asked incredulously. "Where's the option that allows me to go back to being me!?"

"HAHA! Foolish girl." A dark voice spoke up and MJ watched in apprehension as some of the darkness rose up and formed a dark humanoid woman. "You forfeited that right once you put on the Witchblade. It's the child of light and darkness of course you'd have to pick a side eventually."

"As much as I despise that creature, it is correct." The woman said to her mother with a frown as all of the former wielders of the Witchblade appeared behind the dark and light beings while MJ stood in the center. "Every wielder has either chosen a light or dark path when using the Witchblade; you're just the most powerful one and in a world that is devoid of Angelus and the Darkness you can shape the world-no- the universe in your image." (LIAG Helpful info: Angelus and the Darkness are the beings that birthed the Witchblade.)

"Now enough talk. Choose a side and determine the future of your universe." The dark creature growled. MJ looked around in despair as she found herself literally trapped in the boundary of light and dark. "The light side, or the dark side?"

"I choose…" MJ Began before swallowing and releasing a steadying breath as the power gem appeared on her forehead. "My side, the 'human' side."

"WHAT/WHAT!?"

"Humans-no-mortals will always make mistakes and I agree some are so terrible that they need to be erased, but to eradicate all those who do not stand with you. That's wrong no matter which side I choose. I want my God given right to free will intact; I want to be able to choose how I used this power."

"Foolish girl, free will is merely an illusion that those sheep you call human think they have. They are too blind to realize the cage they are in that they forged themselves!" The dark creature shouted angrily.

"Mother, you can't be this selfish…would you really condemn your fellow man to live in such a cage?"

"I'm not condemning anyone!" MJ shouted angrily as her gem pulsed. "I want to help guide them so that they can free themselves but I guess that concept is too hard for an evil bitch and a blind brat to understand though." MJ shouted with a glare.

"I see…" The woman muttered sadly as a blade appeared in her hand. "Then I guess the Witchblade will have to start anew with a new host…I wonder how long it will take to find another as splendid as you."

"Two agreements in the same day…amazing."The dark creature muttered. M J gritted her teeth as her Hyrkanian and Vibranium blades appeared in her hands as the other Witchblade wielders also grabbed their weapons.

"You don't think that you alone can fight all of us do you?" The woman asked incredulously making MJ glare.

"Then it's a good thing she's not alone!" A voice shouted and MJ looked back to see a group of women standing behind her, but the one that caught her eye the most was the one that had spoken.

"S-sonja!?" MJ questioned in shock as her predecessor strode next to her.

"Hmph, I knew this trinket was nothing but trouble." Sonja stated as she crossed her arms before glaring at the light and dark beings. "You are not the only one who believes in what you do Mary Jane…luckily for you, they are all ready to fight to make your 'side' a reality."

"I'll always be willing to help Sonja in her battles and you by extension." A blonde woman said to MJ. "My name is Nissa, and my blade will aid yours today. (LIAG Helpful Info: Nissa was a friend of Sonja's who had exposed her to the Witchblade in the first place.)

"I'll help too." A brunette woman said with a nod. "Sara Pezzini." The woman said as more and more women stepped forward. (LIAG Helpful Info: The current wielder in the Witchblade comics)

"DanieleBaptiste."

"Enola."

"Lara Croft."

"Masane Amaha." (LIAG helpful info: Main character from the anime, I was on the fence about this one to be honest but since the connection between the wielders crosses space and time and because the anime is in the same expanded universe as the comic I said fuck it.)

"Jeanne d'Arc." Said the last woman with a cold French accent.

"Joan?" The being of light said in shock.

"[I will always choose the light over the darkness.]" Joan began before narrowing her eyes. "[But what you are speaking of steps on the very toes of God! It will be an honor to bring you down on this day.]"

"So that's how it is going to be?" The young red-head questioned with a glare. "Fine you will all fall to the light!"

"Darkness will consume you all!"

"Light…Dark…it's doesn't matter in the end you are just power that I will use as I want to!" MJ shouted and with that the three sides charged each other.

-Outside-

When the light died down Faiza-whose armor had shattered from the release of power leaving her standing in a pair of damaged brown pants and some bandages that wrapped up her chest- had to take a step back as she looked at her opponent.

HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER…

Witchblade (Chaos)!

MJ was on her knees holding her head in agony as half of her armor remained the same while the other halve seemed to have been forged from some divine light. MJ released a horrifying scream of agony before blasting forward toward Faiza as she was filled with an unholy madness.

*KRACKA-BOOOOOOM!*

Though MJ's attacks were twice as strong as before, Faiza held her ground as she fought back the deranged woman with renewed vigor. Excalibur shone brightly in her hands as she side stepped and ducked under each blow before delivering a few perfectly timed slashes which made the woman scream in agony.

"Her mind has completely shattered!" Faiza thought as she gritted her teeth. "Is it too late? No I have to save her from this madness I promised Spider-Man and his daughter that I would!" Faiza thought in determination before jamming two fingers into a pressure point on her right arm, causing her right hand to become cemented around the hilt of her blade. Leaping back Faiza raised her blade towards a charging MJ.

*SQUELCH!*

Faiza's arm ripped from her body and flew towards the woman, who even in her deranged state was perplexed when Excalibur stabbed through her stomach.

(LIAG Helpful info: Faiza possesses the ability to disassemble anything, including living beings, into its component parts, to manipulate various portions on an atomic level, and then restore it to its original condition. This is possible due to the fact that she innately knows the composition of anything she affects with her powers. Faiza is also capable of focusing on certain areas in particular.)

MJ stumbled back when the blade ripped free from her stomach and flew back to Faiza where her arm instantly re-attached itself to her body.

A tanned woman collapsed when an arrow pierced her head.

"[Not a bad shot for an English woman!]" Joan laughed as she sheathed her sword as Lara looked on incredulously.

"Did I just kill Cleopatra?" The Tomb Raider questioned incredulously.

"[Don't worry we are called from across time and space, she's still alive in her time these are just our mental projections.]" Masane stated.

"[It's why we can understand each other without knowing each other's native tongue.]" Joan explained before chuckling. "[You didn't think we all spoke the same language did you?]"

"Actually, I'm fluent in all of you all's native tongues. I've just been switching between them the entire time." Lara shrugged making both Masane and Joan look at her in shock. "I will never touch a strange symbiotic weapon again." Lara muttered as she glared at her gauntlet.

"Damn do I know that feeling." Sara muttered as she glared at her own Witchblade.

As everyone continued to fight amongst themselves, MJ found herself charging both her daughter and the dark creature with her Hyrkanian blade held tightly in her right hand.

"Give up mother you cannot beat the both of us." The being of light stated simply.

"You'd really prevent yourself from being born to achieve your goals!?" MJ asked angrily.

"It is for the greater good." The younger woman said simply as she watched her mother leapt above them with her sword raised high.

"MARY JANE!" Sonja's voice boomed. "Catch!" MJ's predecessor shouted as she threw her own Hyrkanian blade to MJ whom caught it in her left hand. MJ landed in between both the darkness and the light in a crouch before rising up and attacking both of them.

*CLANG!*

"You can't win mother!" The woman shouted as she blocked one MJ's swords with her own.

"I can." MJ swore as she back flipped over a tendril of darkness. When she landed her gem began to shine brightly. "And I will."

"Foolish woman."

"Scathach give me strength!" MJ prayed as her eyes bled red while her muscled tensed. "Crimson Assault!"

*CLANG!*

MJ glared up at the two beings as they each parried her blades with their own.

"You are no match for us, mortal."

"Peter…May…Sonja…Natasha…Viper…I can't-no- I won't lose!" MJ thought in defiance as she began to push their blades back, much to their shock. "I will live!"

*Crack*

"And I will forge an even better future for you!" MJ shouted to her daughter as her blades shattered theirs and continued onward until it pierced their chests. "I'll see you later, Sonja." MJ whispered to her wide-eyed daughter before a large dome of crimson energy erupted from them and engulfed everything in sight.

-Outside-

Faiza was knocked back when a pillar of red light erupted from the mad woman.

Here comes a new challenger…

The Crimson Empress: Last Stand! Combatant Mary Jane Watson has overcome the light and darkness and shattered her limits!

"So…it worked." A voice spoke up when the light died down revealing MJ who looked completely unscathed. "Even now this thing still won't take a more modest form." The woman said sounding slightly annoyed as she looked down at her now Crimson armor which still left very little to the imagination, actually it might have gotten even skimpier much to her chagrin.

Her eyes were still black with red irises but they no longer held a dark rage within them. Her blood red hair seem to almost glow slightly brighter and she now had two blades running on the sides of her arms from her wrists to a little bit passed her elbow. Her horns were gone and her power gem pulsed on her forehead like a heartbeat. MJ turned to face the woman lazily.

"Let's finish this quickly; I have people I need to apologize to." MJ stated as making Faiza smirk and place both hands on her blade.

"Then let's end it with this!" Faiza declared making MJ smirk as Gae Bolg appeared in her hands. The crystal in the Witchblade pulsed slightly before the spear began to shine brightly. The two stared at each other intently for a moment before charging each other.

"EXCALIBUR!"

"Gae Bolg."

*FA-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*

Red and gold light struggled for dominance for a few moments before the energies eventually began to merge and engulf everything in a bright white light of pure destruction.

-Space-

Stan watched on with a grin as shockwaves ripped across the planet while a pillar of light erupted from Earth.

"To think that she could pull it off…" Stan muttered before turning away from the planet. "Your plans are becoming more and more advanced young weaver. Not even your closest allies can tell what's underneath that false smile of yours…but I…I can see right through you. You are a few eternities too early to try to pull off what your planning. Still…I will humor you."

"Is that right?" A voice spoke up and Stan glanced back to see Spider-Man standing behind him with his arms crossed as his Exo-Skeleton covered his body.

"Oh yes. You see…you will not get passed the semi-finals, there are more players in this little game of chess than you realize." Stan said wistfully. "But if you do make it to me…it will be an honor to make you watch as I personally destroy your end game."

"You're no different than the rest of the Omni-potent people I've beat. I won't lose!" Spider-Man said firmly making Stan laugh.

"Omni-potent? Haha! Boy can you even comprehend what I am?" Stan questioned as he tilted his head. "Everything you've ever seen…every alternate universe, anything you can see, touch, smell, hear, and taste is in my domain. I created Omni-potency. I'm not a God. To you I am God." Stan revealed with a chuckle. "It's not every day that I go out my way to visit a single person…but you…you've interested me since Anansi began to meddle in your life." Stan said before turning away. "By the way congratulations on becoming a true weaver you've almost got one percent of my true power."

*SHING*

Spider-Man watched as a white line appeared before Stan in the endless void of space before opening up to reveal a white rectangle. Stan stepped into the light and vanished causing his makeshift door to close.

He never saw Spider-Man's smirk.

When the light died down MJ could be seen kneeling with her head bowed as the wind blew her bright red hair back. Excalibur was stabbed into the ground as Faiza held onto it tightly while standing over MJ.

"How?" Faiza finally asked as MJ stood up and stared at her with a softened expression.

"The Witchblade…it's no longer being powered by light or darkness…its feeding off my life force. My will to live, the desire to see the next day. Your blade allows you victory in any battle you want to win…and that's why you lost here today." MJ said as she turned away and began walking back to the stunned onlookers. "You challenged me because Spider-Man wanted you to save me, not so you could defeat me. You never had the drive to win in the first place…so I won…simply because I wanted it more."

"Yes, but it was a splendid battle." Arthur said sagely as Faiza reappeared next to them in a flash of light.

"I'll admit it; my foot is definitely in my mouth right now. You did amazing, spectacular even." Black Knight admitted making Faiza chuckle before pressing her lips to his.

"You weren't so bad yourself…for the three seconds you lasted anyway." Faiza quipped making Black Knight chuckle humorlessly.

"Alright I deserved that."

"So where to now comrades?" Arthur questioned as he crossed his arms.

"Well first you need to get your damn armor back on." Faiza deadpanned. "Now…seeing the political storm I probably just created it is fair to say that our next stop…" Faiza trailed off before turning around raising Excalibur out towards the distance with a smirk. "Is England!"

"Hail to the Once and Future Queen of England!" Arthur shouted boisterously making Black Knight shake his head at the other man's antics before giving Faiza a tired smile.

"Things are never going to be the same after today are they?"

"Nope." Faiza denied with a shake of her head and with that Team Chivalry departed onward to their next adventure…

"May." Mary Jane said as she approached the teen making the other women tense up.

"Mother." May said apprehensively as the woman raised her sword.

*Clank*

May looked on in confusion as Mary Jane dropped her blade before rushing forward and embracing the red-headed teen tightly.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry I never meant to hurt you…I never meant to hurt anyone!" MJ cried out as tears fell from her eyes. May released a gasp when she finally understood that MJ had been freed and quickly hugged the trembling woman back as her own eyes began to glisten.

"*Sniff* Don't worry about it, I know it wasn't you…I'm just glad I didn't lose you after just finding you a year ago. None of the deaths were permanent in any of your fights so you haven't caused any lasting damage."

"Well hopefully things can go back to normal after this." Silver said as she looked at the scene with a small smile.

"*Sniffle*"

"Seriously?" Natasha questioned with a raised eyebrow as she turned to Crimson Viper.

"Sh-shut up. Y-you wouldn't understand!" Viper defended weakly before pulling out her phone and dialing a number. A moment passed before Crimson Viper turned around and began walking away. "Baby? You're okay right? You know mommy loves you…"

"I'm never having kids." Natasha said with a tone of finality making Silver roll her eyes.

"You realize our marriage came with the promise of children right?" Silver reminded her dryly as both women began to walk away.

"Then I am having a boy." Natasha said again as if it were a fact.

"I do not think you will have much control over that." Silver said skeptically with a raised eyebrow making Natasha scoff.

"You obviously don't know who I am." Natasha said seriously. If she said she was having a boy then she was having a boy, it was just that simple after all nobody…

-Alchemax HQ: Peter's office One day later-

A confused Andy stepped into the office and looked towards the desk, Peter's chair was turned away from and facing the window but Andy could feel that the man was in the room.

"Robyn." Peter's voice called out and suddenly the door behind him locked shut as a flash of green light lit up the room for a second before fading. Andy's eyes widened slightly when he felt his powers cut off from him.

"What?" The Blonde questioned in shock.

"Nullification field made with some of the remains of Terminus' tech." Peter said simply as he turned the chair around so he could look at the teen coldly as he scratched a black cat behind it's ears.

"Mr. Spider-Man-Parker-sir….uh….I didn't know you had a cat…"

"It's Felicia's." Peter said simply before leaning back in his chair as his irises bled red. "I've heard some interesting things Mr. Maguire."

"Interesting things sir?" Andy said nervously.

"Yes, about how my daughter was inexplicably able to use her unity against her mother despite being drained of a majority of her Tantric energy for nearly a year." Peter said nonchalantly.

"M-maybe she found another way-"

"-That would mean she used Chaotic energy Mr. Maguire, are you truly calling my daughter a murderer? On this, the day of my daughter's birthday?" Peter asked curiously as he rested his head on his hand. Andy gulped and trembled slightly as golden flames filled the hero's eyes. "What have I done to earn such disrespect Mr. Maguire?"

"N-n-nothing s-sir!"

"You know I really never knew what drove people to kill…to have such a hatred for a single individual that you would want to tear them limb from limb….oh yes I thought I knew what that felt like with Osborn…but then something happened…"

"W…w…what happened sir?"

"You walked into my office just now and when I looked at your face I realized that until this moment, I didn't know what hate was." Peter said truthfully as Andrew took a step back only to run into the locked door. "I'll keep this simple Mr. Maguire, break her heart and I'll break you. So please don't make me do something that I might not actually regret. Do we have an understanding?"

"Yes Mr. Parker-Spider-Man sir!" Andy said with sweat pouring down his face.

"Remember Mr. Maguire, I see all." Peter state coolly, it was then that they heard a knock on the door and suddenly a second flash of light engulfed the room before the door unlocked. Andy looked down at his hands as his strength returned to him as May entered the room.

"There you two are come on Mom's cutting the cake." May said with a small smile as a large grin lit up her father's face. Peter leapt from his seat and landed next to Andy before placing his arm around the boy a little too tightly.

"Good I was waiting for the cake, come on Andy we can't keep your girlfriend waiting." Peter chuckled making May look away from them with a small blush while Andy trembled within the man's grasp.

"What were you two talking about anyway?" May questioned as she began to lead them away.

"Just male hero stuff." Peter said as Andy nodded his head mutely. "Don't say a word." Peter whispered coldly.

Looks like Zoe took after her father.

I call this next omake…a look into the mind of Rebuke. It's an idea that I just came up with (Like seriously right now after I finished the chapter) And it's basically a plot bunny I haven't had the time to form. Trust me it will blow your fucking mind how well it works.

-Omake 2: Spider-Man training Day part V (Bioshock Infinite)-

(It'll make sense by the end trust me)

New York: Statue of Liberty

"Alright so what's the deal?" Spider-Man questioned curiously as he stood at the base of the large statue. Standing behind him was Cassandra web AKA Madame Web and a tall African male he had never seen before.

"My, he is forgetful isn't he old friend?" The man questioned curiously.

"That he is." Madame Web mused.

"Well excuse me; you did sort of drag me here out of nowhere." Spider-Man pointed out sounding annoyed before turning to the taller man. "And you, I've never even met you before."

"Just call me Anansi young hatchling." Anansi said with a small smile.

"We need you to rescue a young woman." Cassandra said nonchalantly. "She's vital to upholding the Web of Life, should she die we will allow follow her eventually as there will only be chaos with the Web."

"Right…well I'm not so sure about the entire 'Web of Life' thing, but if someone is in danger you better be sure that I will save them." Spider-Man said as he nodded his head making them smile-though their smiles seemed to hide something.

"Excellent, now where you are going will be explained later just know that we have provided you with clothing that you can wear on top of your costume." Anansi said as he handed the hero a brief case.

"Hold up, I'm not taking off my mask! That's the whole point of having a secret ID!" Spider-Man said incredulously. "No offence but I just met you and-"

"Peter Benjamin Parker." Anansi interrupted the hero calmly. "There is nothing about you that I don't know already. Where you are going, you'll draw far too much attention to yourself and you will endanger the girl. You will need stealth on your side, now get changed." Spider-Man just stared at the man firmly for a few more moments before his shoulders slumped.

Whether he liked it or not he, wasn't going to let a young woman die if he could help it.

Spider-Man removed his mask before opening the brief case and putting on his new clothes. After a few moments, Peter finally managed to get his new outfit. He was now wearing a black double breasted jacket along with a pair of black dress slacks and matching dress shoes. On his hands was a pair of black leather gloves. Fastening the Jacket securely, Spider-Man stuffed his mask in his pocket before turning back to the statue of liberty.

"How long do I have?" Peter questioned with a frown.

"As long as you need, just make sure she lives." Cassandra stated making him nod. "You'll find out how to get to her location after you reach the top. You'll see us shortly." Peter nodded and walked inside the monument.

-At the top-

Peter's eyes widened in absolute horror once he reached the top of the monument. There was blood everywhere along with the corpse of a mutilated man. Behind the corpse Peter saw something that made him take a step back.

"The Door to the future? I thought we dismantled that thing back in Horizon!" Peter said in disbelief. Above the door were four words written in blood.

[Think on your sins]

Looking around Peter noticed that there was nowhere to go but through the open gateway into the future and he quickly realized what Cassandra meant by knowing her location once he reached the top.

"Well Spidey, this won't be the strangest thing you've done." Peter muttered to himself as he walked through the portal.

It was then that everything went wrong, for as soon as he step through the door began to collapse in on itself before exploding sending Peter blasting through time screaming in agony as his body felt as though it were being ripped apart.

New York: 2099

BGM: Will the circle be unbroken- Bioshock Infinite OST

Peter groggily woke up to find himself lying in a puddle of water in what looked like a subway. Idly he could swear he heard a choir singing in the distance. But ignored it as he regained is footing. Looking down he saw a picture taped to his jacket and pulled it off to get a better look at it. He frowned when he saw the image of a young red-haired girl on the picture along with the words 'Save her' scribbled on it. Pocketing the Picture, Peter stretched his arms before walking off to explore the new place.

As he walked, Peter passed a corridor before pausing and backtracking to make sure he hadn't gone insane. Looking at the end of the short corridor he saw a large stained glass image of a woman that looked eerily like Felicia that was surrounded by candles. What really caught his attention were the words written under the image

[And in my womb shall hatch the egg of the Weaver.]

"What in the world?" Peter muttered to himself as he walked away.

-Later-

Peter had finally made it outside of the weird subway, but now he had found himself looking at something else to gape at.

"Just what the hell is going on!?" Peter wondered in disbelief as he saw three white garbed men bowing before a large angelic white statue of Captain America. Under the statue were the words 'Father Rogers.' Peter shook his head as he kept walking until he began climbing a set of stairs when a white garbed priest nodded to him as he passed.

"Our CEO fills our lungs with water so that we may better love the air." The man said serenely.

"Uh…good for him?" Peter said awkwardly as he began to walk a little faster.

BGM: END

Peter was sure he was running at this point but stopped when he came upon a large white door. It wasn't the door that made him stop, however, but rather the words on top of it.

[The Egg of the Weaver Shall Spin the Web and With It, Bury the Chaos of Man.]

Peter rushed forward and forced the doors open. The hero stopped and gasped at the sight of the new New York.

"Mother of God." Peter whispered to himself.

BGM: Bioshock Infinite Rap- Dan Bull

The Entire city was suspended in the air by a giant web.

Before him was a large statue of an older man wearing a suit whom looked as if he had come down from heaven itself.

"Just what did I get myself in to?" Peter wondered.

Little did he know, he would lose whatever innocence he had left after the journey he was about to embark on.

*Flash*

Peter was now holding a rock in his hand as a man try to convince him to throw it at a young couple simply because the woman was a mutant. Peter shook his head in disgust and dropped the rock. The man sneered at Peter and attempted to attack him only for the hero to dodge at blinding speeds and knock him down. His quick reflexes, however, caused the buttons of his jack to unfasten thus showing the Spider-Man shirt he wore underneath it.

"The false center…" The man whispered in horror making the surrounding civilians pause as they all stared at his spider-emblem in horror.

! Spider-sense!

Peter ducked under two web-lines and spun around to notice that officers were chasing him down. He mentally cursed when he noticed that somehow they were all equipped with web-shooters. Making quick work of them, Peter leapt up and began swinging away by using the web that had covered the city's sky.

*Flash*

"Who are you!?" A red haired girl asked Peter incredulously as they ran through a large a statue of a woman that looked too similar to Mary Jane for comfort.

"Just call me Spider-Man! What's your name?"

"May!"

"Nice name!" Peter shouted as a loud crashing noise could be heard though out the statue. "Mind telling me what the hell that thing is back there!?" Peter questioned as he glanced back at a large mechanical reverse-colored black widow spider.

"The Red Widow…it's kind of my keeper!" May shouted making Peter groan.

"Great…"

*Flash*

"Damn it I'm out!" Peter shouted as he ran out of web-fluid while large mechanical replicas of Captain America and Iron Man surrounded him along with a group of soldiers.

"Spidey catch!" May shouted and he turned to see her throw him some web-cartridges.

"Thanks!" Spidey called back as he reloaded his web-shooters. It unnerved him that there were so many just lying around.

*Flash*

A wounded Spider-Man fell to his knees and grabbed a downed Johnny by the front of his uniform as May looked on apprehensively.

"Johnny listen to me! The CEO was never in Civil War!" Peter shouted as his one-time friend's eyes glazed over.

"He…was." Johnny said before his last breath left him.

*Flash*

"Rouge listen to me, I know the CEO has done some terrible things but do not kill that boy." Peter said desperately as his pseudo little sister held a young innocent boy hostage and prepared to drain him.

"They must all pay." Anya said coldly, before she could do the deed, however, May fell from the ceiling and impaled the brown-haired woman with her stingers. May took a step back as she stared at her red stained hands while the woman fell lifelessly to the floor. Peter looked on in horror at what had happened.

*Flash*

"Are you kidding me!? She screws me over even as a ghost!?" Peter questioned in shock as both him and May found themselves Felicia's ghost in a cemetery.

"I'm still trying to get over the fact that you dated my mom!" May said in shock.

"And I still say that there is no way she's your mom, you two don't share any features!"

"Well she's a ghost!"

"Not what I meant!"

*Flash*

BGM: END

Peter glared as he watched the CEO walk May over to him.

"All I had to do was tell you the truth about the false Weaver." The CEO chuckled as May looked at him in confusion. "Ask him, child, ask him what happened to his daughter." Peter had enough and quickly grabbed the older man by his throat.

"She's your daughter you fucking bastard!" Peter shouted in rage as he smashed the man through a fountain and banged his head against the ground. "You abandoned her; you locked her away just so you could use her powers for your own goals!

"All…according…to plan." The CEO chuckled as he pressed a pressure point on Peter's wrist which caused a stinger to rip from Peter's wrist and pierce his skull. Peter stepped back aghast as he looked at his blood soaked stinger. He didn't even know his body even contained stingers.

"Your daughter?" May asked apprehensively.

"May…I don't know what he was talking about." Peter muttered as his Spider-sense began to burn. "I swear to you, I don't have a daughter."

"Or….do you just not remember her?" May asked quietly as Peter looked at her in confusion.

*Flash*

Peter was standing in the middle of a large golden web with May looking at him impassively.

"Countless worlds exist." May said softly. "We are at the epicenter of the am all. So many tangents some happy some sad…I understand now. The reason you are here is because you gave up."

"No…May I didn't-"

"You lost me." May said quietly. "Your aunt died and you couldn't be strong anymore you gave up and chose to kill me."

"That's not true May! You had already died before the deal, it was Osborns fault-"

"You told me that those we love will continue to live long after they die as long as we remember them…you gave up your memory and worse you gave up your chance to birth my sister. All because you are weak." May said simply.

"A failure." A second voice spoke up and Peter's eyes widened when he saw a second May dressed in a Spider-Girl outfit step next to the first one.

"A murderer." A third May spoke up followed by more and more.

"No please stop!" Peter shouted weakly as he stepped back only to run into Mephisto.

"Would you like to make a deal?" The devil said darkly as flames surrounded them.

"No!"

"It's too late father." May said quietly. "You've already done so."

"No…May…please!" Peter shouted desperately as he was burned by the flames as Mephisto laughed.

"Goodbye Dad, you will always live in my memories."

"AHHHHHH!" Peter shouted as he sat up in his bed as sweat poured down his face. He shook his head to clear his thoughts before looking around at the room he was in. "Oh thank God, it was just a dream." Peter muttered before looking up to his doorway in confusion when he heard a baby crying.

"Tiger, you okay?" MJ questioned in concern as she approached her husband whom was looking at her with wide eyes. "Are you alright? You're crying." MJ said with a frown making Peter weakly raise his right hand to his cheek and sure enough he was crying. He sniffed a bit before giving her his biggest grin.

"I'm more than okay, it's just that you are so beautiful right now!" Peter shouted as he leapt to his feet and quickly embraced her making the red-head giggle.

"Peter, stop I'm holding May!" MJ said as Peter peppered her with kisses before stopping and grabbing his daughter from her hands.

"May! I'm so glad to see you!" Peter said making the infant giggle as his wife shook her head, perplexed at what could have made him act the way he was.

"Are you sure you are okay?" MJ questioned with a smile.

"Never better! For once, everything in my life just seems to be in order." Peter smiled.

*Gasp *

Peter sat up and began breathing heavily with tears falling from his face. He looked up to find himself sitting in the Web of Life and placed his head in his hands and released a muffled yell.

"Peter!" Jessica shouted as she appeared before him in flash along with Julia. "There you are! " The woman paused when she felt the emotions rolling off of him. "Peter listen we're here to bring you back, you got lost but everything okay and whatever you just dreamt that's all it is a dream." Jessica said as she knelt next to him and placed a hand on his shoulder to comfort him.

"It wasn't…" Peter's voice spoke up, muffled by his hands.

"It wasn't what?" Jessica asked in confusion as Peter raised his face making Julia gasp at his expression. Never would she have ever thought she'd see Spider-Man look as serious as he did in that moment. There was nothing even remotely light-hearted about his cold expression.

"A dream. It's not a dream, it's a goal." Peter said seriously as he stood up and began walking away from them. "I finally have the power to make my dreams reality, the first step is being responsible and gaining control over said power. I appreciate the help, but I must hone my skills on my own. Time is no longer a factor; I can be lost out here for decades and still find my way back to the exact time and place that I left."

"Do you know how long it will take you to get control over traveling through time and space? Years Peter, neither Anansi nor Cassandra could just figure it out it took them a good portion of their lives." Jessica stated. "Cassandra gave me her knowledge that's the only reason I can do it so well, Julia didn't get as much from her but she got enough, and Mayday can only control hers enough to bring her from her reality to ours! We can help you!"

"Then believe in me." Peter said calmly making Jessica go silent. "I'll be back soon enough." And with that Peter vanished.

"I think…I think we just accidentally caught Peter without his mask." Julia murmured.

"Why would he wear his mask when he's alone?" Jessica questioned making Julia raise an eyebrow.

"I wasn't talking about his Spider-Man mask."

"Neither was I."

"Hey Faiza…" Black Knight began as his team continued to walk through the streets of England on their way to the palace.

"Hmm?" Faiza questioned curiously.

"Why do you keep Excalibur wrapped in bandages is it so you don't draw attention to us? Because I don't that will work seeing as we're in costume." Black Knight stated awkwardly. He was completely caught off guard by the look of complete disgust and annoyance that suddenly appeared on both of his teammate's faces.

"There is a reason I do not use that blade." Arthur said with a voice filled with contempt as Faiza glared at her blade.

"Once you succeed in truly accessing the blade's power and awaken it…it talks to you." The Muslim woman stated as she looked as if she were about to throw the sword into the street. "And it doesn't stop…" Faiza shuddered as Arthur's look of contempt and disgust worsened.

"It' can't be that bad." Black Knight said skeptically. Faiza and Arthur shared a look before the woman began to undo the wrappings.

BGM: Excalibur song- Soul Eater

"Excalibur….Excalibur….from the United King, I'm looking for her, I'm going to California~' The sword sung making Black Knight's jaw drop.

-Forty minutes alter-

"MAKE IT STOP!" Black Knight shouted in desperation as a look of disgust and contempt filled his face.

"Excalibur-"

"SHUT THE HELL UP!" Faiza roared as threw the blade on the ground.

"…I'm going to California….Excalibur…" Faiza gritted her teeth and quickly picked the blade back up and wrapped it tightly with the bandages, muffling its' voice.
