Chapter 34: Age of Revolution (Part 2)

-The Next day: SHIELD Helicarrior-

"What do you mean I have to stay here?" Valeria asked with a frown making the Director sigh as she finished typing something on her computer.

"It's time to go on the offensive." The Director answered firmly. "I still need the loyalty of the spiders, one week ago Adriana left the planet to get supplies from her allies in Sakaar, and in that period of time her daughter Elise was captured. Kaine and Alice were critically injured defending her."

"Elise?" Valeria repeated with slightly wider eyes. "Is she okay?"

"For now yes, the Purifiers are holding her in one of their bases in Florida to draw out Adriana."

"The Queen should be more than enough to stop them." Valeria said with a frown making her counterpart nod.

"You are correct, however, this is being orchestrated by Ultron there are over three thousand Ultronbots in that state currently." The Director informed Valeria seriously. "Not even she could survive against that. They expect the Queen but not me; I'll go in and rescue her." The Director explained making Valeria shake her head.

"How will you get out?"

"Simple." The Director said as she tossed a small black controller to the girl. "When I give you the signal, you will press that button and teleport us both out of there." The woman said as she fastened a metallic belt around her waist. "Our lives are in your hands. This will only take an hour." The Director said as she looked out of the window. "Were' here. Once I'm down there the helicarrior will fly away everything depends on you getting me back here in time."

"Understood."

-30 minutes later-

Elise hugged her knees tight to her chest in fear as tears fell from her eyes while soldiers sneered at her from behind a glass wall.

"Look at that freak, she's only been here a week and she's grown two inches." One of the soldiers sneered.

"Fuckin' disgusting." Another soldier said as three others simply grumbles under their breaths.

"Fuckin' Biology is the correct term I believe." A feminine voice spoke up making the soldiers blink in confusion. One of the soldiers turned quickly to see who had spoken only to find a knife buried into his skull as his life was taken easily. The others quickly raised their weapons at the Director but were to slow as she shot one of the head as she dashed forward and fire two more bullets. Her aim was true as both men fell over dead.

"Get that bitch!" A terrified soldier shouted as the Director rolled under his bullets and quickly slipped behind him and forced his arm behind his back as she used him as a shield to block the last soldier's bullets.

*Click*

"Damn!" The soldier shouted as he tried to pull out his pistol only for the Director to snap her shield's head with enough force to tear it from his body before throwing it directly in the soldiers face. The Director smirked as she aimed at the back of the airborne skull with her gun

*BANG!*

Her bullet tore through the head and blasted through the final soldier's skull causing the man to slump down.

"They do not make henchmen like they used to." The Director mused as she stepped over the bodies and approached Elise's cell. Her expression softened greatly when she saw the terrified girl looking at her as tears fell from her eyes. Opening the door, the Director gave her a soft smile. "Hello, sorry you had to see that…do you want to go to your mother?"

*Sniffle*

The young girl nodded her head mutely as she wiped her eyes and quickly rushed the woman, embracing her tightly.

"There, there." The Director said as she patted the girl on her head. Elise shook for a moment before stopping suddenly as she began to sniff the woman. Elise looked up at her savior with confusion written all over her face.

"Val?" Elise asked perplexed. The Director simply smiled as she lifted the young girl up in her arms and began to carry her away.

"Everything will be fine now princess, the mean people shall not hurt you again." The Director said as the girl buried her head into her neck. The Director's face turned outright demonic when the she was sure the girl couldn't see her. "Ever." The Director said coldly as she suddenly pulled a nearby lever which caused alarms to ring out through the building as she walked.

["What did you do!? Thousands of Ultronbots are flying towards your position!"] Valeria's voice shouted through her earpiece.

"Everything is going according to plan, just be ready to press the button when I tell you to." The Director said calmly as the building shook. "Three…two…one…." The Director counted down as an Ultronbot blasted down through the ceiling followed by dozens more.

["Halt human."]

"Now." The Director said simply.

All the Ultronbots saw a flash of white light engulf the woman before a sea of red consumed them all.

-SHIELD Helicarrior-

*KRACKABOOOOOOOOOOM*

Valeria looked up in confusion as a loud explosion echoed throughout the nation as the Director appeared with Elise in her arms. Valeria couldn't shake the feeling of dread that flashed through her body as the explosion echoed in her mind.

"What-" Valeria stopped mid-sentence as she saw possibly the most gentle expression she had ever seen grace the Director's face as the woman tried to soothe Elise.

"The building was filled with Spider-Jammers." The Director said calmly. "If I had to guess the people who kidnapped her must have had them nearby in order to catch the Spiders off guard. Poor child's connection to the web was severed; her mother probably thought she was dead." The Directors' words made Valeria pale slightly. She had been studying Elise since they became 'friends' and knew exactly what that meant.

"Elise uses the web instinctively to know that her parents and loved ones are okay…if what you say is true then that means for the past weak she thought everyone she knew was dead." Valeria said as she shook her head. For a normal child there would be no telling how much psychological damage would have been done by something like that. Valeria put away the thoughts of the explosion for now as she focused on the current situation. "Is there any way to fix her connection?"

"Yes just give me a moment; I will be extremely exhausted when I do it however." The Director said before releasing a sigh. "Valeria you must be ready to take my place should I perish."

"What do you mean?" Valeria asked with a frown.

"I will be unable to defend myself for a few minutes due to the exhaustion, the first thing Adriana will see is a stranger in front of her daughter whom she possibly thought had died, she may kill me so prepare yourself." The Director said calmly as she knelt down to be eye level with Elise. "Princess, look into my eyes." Elise did so and suddenly felt as if she were becoming whole again. Valeria watched on quietly as she saw the womans body tremble as blood poured from her false eye.

"Just what the hell is going on?" Valeria wondered with a frown. The Director shuddered as she felt herself become incredibly weak before her eye closed. "Are-"

*CRASH!*

"YOU INSOLENT MONKEY!" The Queen boomed as she held the Director against a wall with one hand wrapped tightly around her neck as golden flames spilled from her eyes. "TO HELL WITH MY MATE'S IDEALS, YOU WILL PERISH!" The Queen snarled as she raised her free hand prepared skewer human with her talons. The Director then did something no one was expecting.

She smiled in acceptance.

This only fueled Adriana's rage even more as she stabbed her hand forward, intent on ending the woman's life.

"STOP!" Elise cried out and the Queen's eyes widened in alarm as she felt her body pulse before locking up. "P-please mommy, d-don't hurt her." Elise pleaded tearfully. As this went on Valeria simply looked on in shock.

"She made the Queen submit…what the hell is going on?" Valeria wondered and little did she know Adriana was having similar thoughts.

"She still has three more years before she is prepared to take my spot…how on earth…" The Queen's thoughts trailed off as she took a moment to calm herself. It was at this moment that she noticed Valeria's presence. "I believe that is Susan's child if I am not mistaken, Elise's human friend." The Queen thought as her eyes narrowed. "Child, what the hell is going on?" Valeria shivered slightly in fear at the powerful woman's anger.

["Never be afraid if you're the smartest person in the area."]

The Director's words echoed in her mind as she realized that since her counterpart was incapacitated that it was up to her to control the situation.

"Well before you came in here declaring your hatred for my people, that woman went out of her way to save your daughter." Valeria drawled. "Are you an idiot? There are over six billion humans on this planet do you really think that we're all out to get you? I am afraid to say I have better things to do with my life then worry about a bug." Valeria sneered as the woman gritted her teeth and released her counterpart. Part of Valeria was happy that Elise was too busy with her own emotional turmoil to hear what she said.

"Why you insolent-"

"-Brat? Monkey? Excuse me but I am not the one barging in and attempting to kill someone who risked their life to save my daughter." Valeria cut her off with narrowed eyes as she walked towards the Queen. "I may be a child, but I am smarter than you will ever hope to be, now shut up, sit down, and get your damned facts straight!" Valeria shouted angrily as she felt a headache coming on. "Going to lose my brain cells at this rate if I keep hanging around imbeciles." Valeria muttered as she walked towards her counterpart.

"W-Well I'll be I didn't know I could feel this proud." The Director said weakly making Valeria smirk.

-10 minutes later-

"Now that I can talk again." The Director muttered as she sat across from the Queen. "Maybe we can begin negotiations of peace. We're both aware of the Ultron situation so why not join my alliance?" The Director asked making the Queen release a sigh.

"Do not get me wrong, I will always be grateful that you saved my daughter…" The Queen said with a weak smile as she glanced at Valeria whom found herself sitting next to Elise whom had fallen asleep. "I am also glad to see that she was able to make a bond with a mo-human that seems to withstand the test of time. However, it's just too risky. When it comes down to it, everyone will put their own species first. If we get into a situation when only one of our species can dominate this world, there will be bloodshed."

"That way of thinking shows just how little you know of humanity." The Director stated calmly as Adriana gave her a sad expression.

"You sound like my mate and while I am trying to accept his ideals…I just have a more realistic view." Adriana said with a sigh before narrowing her eyes. "I mean really, would you kill a human to save a spider's life? An innocent human, not the scum use killed to save my daughter." The Director simply leaned back in her chair and narrowed her eyes.

"How many innocent humans do you think perished in that last attempt to save your daughter?" The Director asked confusing the Queen.

"None you infiltrated the base, killed a few soldiers, and left." The Queen said as a sickening feeling began to form in Valeria's stomach.

"Wrong." The Director said calmly.

"What?" The Queen asked perplexed.

"Just over nineteen million three hundred and twenty thousand perished in that mission." The Director explained making both Adriana and Valeria pale as the Director turned to face Valeria. "The controller I gave you had two functions, one to teleport us back here and two-to set off the bomb planted in the heart of Florida. As of this day, Florida has been wiped off of the map. Every man woman and child was disintegrated." Valeria couldn't even think straight…she had killed millions of people. She began to hyperventilate as her stomach and heart felt as though they were being ripped asunder.

Darkness was the last thing Valeria saw as she simply fainted.

"You're…you're telling the truth." The Queen said stunned. "Why!?" She's tried to rule humans before, she even turned them into spiders and hell a few innocent were killed by her actions…but outright killing millions of innocent men, women, and children…

"I owe your daughter a debt I can never repay." The Director said calmly as she glanced at Elise. "Rest assured that no harm will come to you or your people as long as she has a pulse. I have nothing to else to lose, there is no limit to what I am willing to do to make sure she lives." The Queen felt extremely humbled at that point, never had she heard such undying loyalty and it terrified her to think of it. No matter how monstrous a person was they had their limit. To be faced with a human as intelligent as the woman in front of her that had absolutely no moral limit…

The Queen actually shuddered as the reality of the situation began to sink in. Millions of humans died so her daughter could be free. The woman before her even knew that the chance of her agreeing to an Alliance was zero yet she did it anyway.

"What are you after?" The Queen finally asked making the human smile.

"Understanding." The Director answered

"I…I think I want to understand where you're coming from…"The Queen trailed off with a frown. "Fine I accept, but please tell me…how were you able to do it?"

"Love and Chaos are what make you Spiders strong that is no lie." The Director began with a serene smile. "However the same can be said for humans, we just use it differently. Their effects are more internal than external you see. I once had a great love, and their death brought me great chaos thanks to both experiences you can say I've found equilibrium."

"Unity." The Queen muttered as her eyes widened in understanding.

"Call it what you will, humans aren't as fancy as your kind's unity. We all share the same one. When we find a balance of both in our lives…we have no limits." The Director said sagely as she stood up to go pick up her counterpart. "I dream of a world where very human-no-every species knows their full potential and stop simply being sheep following a heard. Only then can we truly understand one another."

The Queen was silenced.

-3 Weeks later: Outside Wakanda-

Current Amount of global casualties: 70,500,631

"Surprised to see you here, Felicia." MJ stated as she found herself slashing through many armed men.

"Well I was taking care of Ben at the temple when I decided to drop in and say hi." Black Cat said casually as many of the soldiers weapons suddenly jammed up on them letting the thief incapacitate them easily. "By yourself?"

"One of my allies is working out negotiations with her people at the moment, so for now I'm just trying not to die."

*Rumble*

Black Cat blinked as she felt the ground tremble beneath her before looking up to see five tanks break through the foliage.

"Son of a bitch, tanks!"

"Back!" MJ ordered as she pushed the thief back before releasing a mighty swing causing an arc of red power to collide into the tanks.

*BOOOOOOOM*

"Well damn."

"Never gets easier." MJ sighed as she thought of the people she just killed. Her eyes narrowed suddenly as she heard what sounded like thrusters before glancing up to see that they were now surrounded by Ultronbots and it looked like more were on their way. "I'll hold them off, you get out of here!"

"Don't worry about me; I have some new toys of my own." Black Cat drawled as she placed a hand on her ear. "Robyn, Max stealth now!"

["Done! Suit is at 100% efficiency!"]

"Thank you." Black Cat said as a crimson spider emblem burned on the back of her suit. "You're the biggest threat here MJ, get their attention."

"Don't get yourself killed." MJ said as she was engulfed in a crimson aura making all of the robots focus on her.

"Robyn, Phantom protocol." Black Cat said before her body simply faded away from view.

["One of the targets has disappeared. Thermal scanners cannot find her. Logical conclusion: She teleported away."] One of the Ultronbots said as they gazed down at the Empress.

*CRASH*

The Ultronbot that had spoken looked down to see a black clad hand with bright crimson talons rip through its chest.

["Impossible."] The Ultronbot said as Black Cat appeared on his back with her pushed through his body.

["Ms. Black Cat, it will take approximately 3.2 seconds to recharge the Parker particles in your gloves. Use each attack wisely."]

"Will do." Black Cat said as she vanished again. The rest of the Ultronbots began to rain down upon them. Everyone knew it was going to be a long fight, even the Ultronbots…

…they just weren't expecting it to be a long one-sided fight.

"You know once you're able to get passed the durability, these things are easy as hell." Black Cat pointed as she clawed the head off one of the Ultronbots and threw it at MJ whom batted it way with the flat of her blade. "Home run!"

"Watch this." MJ said as she leapt into a group of Ultronbots before releasing a mighty roar as countless blades erupted from the Witchblade, covered in a crimson aura, and impaled the Ultronbots.

"Nice…now if only it wasn't so damn dark out. I've lost all sense of time." Black Cat muttered.

"Agreed but I'm not going to lie, it's given me an advantage against the enemy soldiers." MJ explained as she fought. "Now, what's the real reason you are here?"

"It's time to make your move on New York." Black cat said making her frown.

"It's too early-"

"Carol is single-handedly taking on South America and Gwen is holding down North America. Both of them are doing it in your name, you need to lead the final assault on New York and end this." Black Cat said as she removed the last of the Ultronbots. "You've been too busy to notice but you've picked up a lot of powerful followers. I've been your information gatherer for the past two months."

"Really?" MJ asked as she powered down. All she had done was fight and move forward, she really didn't pay attention to the people that began to follow her. "Wait, how is Carol fighting? Isn't she pregnant?"

"I don't know the details but she says she took care of it." Black Cat said making MJ look at her in horror. Confused at her expression, the thief thought over her choice of words before releasing a gasp and shaking her head frantically. "No no no no, her kid is okay. The little girl is resting at the temple with Elise, Ben, and Ananase right now." Black Cat explained making MJ release a sigh of relief.

"And where is May?" MJ questioned making the thief frown.

"I wish I could tell you, I really do. I do know, however, that she hasn't been captured. Wherever she is she's probably okay, Zoe keeps an eye on her siblings."

-With May-

"Mom! Help!" May shouted as she darted around at least fifty great swords with tears in her eyes.

"HAHAHAHA! You're a spider right!? When in battle you must be like water!" The Goddess laughed as a colossal blade, easily the size of a medium sized building, fell from the sky towards May. "DODDDGGEEEEE!" May's eyes widened before a golden light flashed through her eyes.

-Brazil-

The citizens of Brazil looked around in confusion as light began to surround the country for the first time since the eternal night had begun. Looking up they saw a strange ball of flames light up the sky and for a moment they thought it was the sun.

At least until it began moving.

Within the ball of flames a pissed off Binary stood cracking her knuckles as her space gem shone brightly.

"My power has been dormant for so long…growing stronger each day…I'm not even sure what my limits are anymore." Binary thought as she looked up to see fighter jets blasting towards her. "But I can find out, no one is going to hurt my baby."

-Flash Back-

~No Time~

"We've been in here for years." Eva stated as her eyes shone blue.

"It's been a few weeks in real time, but weeks well spent." Kiden shrugged before smirking. "In fact, I think I'm gonna sit this Armageddon out. You should be more than enough now that you've mastered your mutation. If we both fight we'd just get in each other's way. Besides I'm getting old this world can't depend on us old people forever, the new generation have to be strong too."

"You're like…a year or two older than me." Eva deadpanned.

"In real-time you're about right." Kiden mused. "However, after getting this gem you have no idea how long I've spent in No Time trying to control my power by myself." Kiden's smile then turned bitter. "I've had a wakeup call ever since I had to kill my brother…I wanted to be better…to not be the same silly little girl that ran away from her problems. I trained…but I trained for too long and now…I'm burnt out."

"What are you saying?" Eva asked with a frown.

"I'm lazy, you know that much, but it's because I'm just so damn tired." Kiden said tiredly. "So many years…I've spent in here alone, the only reason I even learnt how to bring other people like this was out of complete desperation to end my solitude." Kiden said before chuckling as she looked at the multicolored sky. "Look at me I'm pathetic."

"That's not true; you helped me when no one else would." Eva protested making Kiden shrug.

"You interested me." Kiden said honestly. "Someone I love has not only been alone but has been through a hundred times worse than I have, yet she can still find the beauty in life, she still has the will to fight for tomorrow whether she's alone or not. I on the other hand am exhausted. The only reason I even care about tomorrow is that there is a chance I can be there with her. So I trained you, even with my gem, you are better than me you just needed the push to realize it."

"Kiden-"

*Flash*

The women stopped talking as they turned around to see Jubilee appear in a flash of purple light with Carol.

"What do you know? I told you we'd make it." The Vampire Queen stated with a smile before waving at a confused Kiden. "How's it going?" Jubilee asked as she greeted the two time masters.

"Pretty decent, mind telling me how you managed to get into my little world here?" Kiden questioned curiously.

"Combined my reality gem and her space gem together managed to take us to you." Jubilee answered. "I figured you might be in No Time which is why I didn't try to bring her here with just my strength."

"Oh well, mind telling me why you brought my pregnant former team leader here?" Kiden questioned as she crossed her arms. "You know when Spidey gets back he'll be pissed right?"

"I'd rather face his wrath than dying." Jubilee said bluntly. "Anyway were getting off topic, I need you to do something for me."

"What?" Kiden asked in concern after all it wasn't everyday…or ever that Jubilee would ask a favor from her. Jubilee pointed at a confused Carol's stomach with a serious expression.

"Get that baby out of her…alive." Jubilee added the last part when she saw the looks of horror shot at her. Really she may be Queen of the Vampire legion but she was still herself damn it! Why was everyone assuming she'd suddenly go evil?

"I guess I could speed up the process, but you do see the major problem here don't you?" Kiden questioned confusing the vampire. "You. Really? A vampire in the same area as a woman giving birth…you really think that's a good idea?"

"I can control myself!" Jubilee shouted visibly offended making Kiden raise her hands to placate her.

"I know you can, but my contact in Genosha-don't give me that look I have contacts everywhere-tell me you intentionally starve yourself to weaken your true form. You're probably famished right now and that's not a good thing."

"You…have a point actually." Jubilee muttered though it hurt her to say it making Kiden frown. If she was actually fed, Jubilee had no doubt that she would probably even be able to deliver the infant herself seeing how much control she normally had.

"I can still do it, but Eva will have to freeze you. Is that okay?" Kiden questioned making the vampire nod.

"Hold up, don't I get a say in this?" Carol asked making all the women stare at her with half-lidded eyes.

"You really want to walk on eggs shells for a few more months only for each day to be harder than the last and if you do manage to live long enough to give birth, spend even more time getting your figure back?" Kiden asked her former team mate skeptically making Carol blink as she thought of the last few weeks of doing nothing but standing on the side-lines praying for the war to be over.

"Hell no, I love my child, but get this brat out of me!" Carol said as she placed a hand over her stomach.

"Good, be warned though I am about to take a few months off of your life span." Kiden said as she led the woman away. "Let's go try to find a somewhat clean place to do this, Eva keep Jubes in place."

"On it." Eva said as she raised a hand towards Jubilee, freezing the vampire in place as a blue dome surrounded her. "Holding back a powerful Vampire that can will me out of existence…I hope my classmates are having a good time." Eva mused before frowning. "Except Kidpool, that brat still owes me money."

-With Kiden-

Kiden was now kneeling over a nude Carol with her hands on the woman's stomach.

"Normally I'd tell you to put on a hospital gown or something but seeing as you can make one up, but with your powers at the moment this is the best were gonna get." Kiden chuckled.

"Please hurry up, this is cold." Carol pleaded making Kiden shake her head.

"I'm warning you, this is gonna hurt…a lot."

"You've done this before?"

"Once for a friend, but that's a story for another day." Kiden explained. "Any last words before you begin to hate my very existence?"

"Please, I've been through worse and I've been nuked." Carol deadpanned. "Still I will say this; you've turned out alright Kiden." Carol smirked making the mutant smile.

"Thanks now here we go." Kiden said as her gem began to glow faintly. Carol frowned as she felt her stomach enlarge as her hair grew slightly.

"It feels a little weird."

"Savor these moments cause we're approaching month nine and…" Kiden trailed off as the woman felt something break.

-With Eva-

"I SWEAR TO GOD KIDEN IF YOU DON'T GET HER OUT OF ME I'LL BURN YOU TO ASH!" Carol's voice boomed making Eva blink owlishly.

"I THOUGHT YOU COULD HANDLE IT!? AND STOP TRYING TO GO BINARY! IT ISN'T HELPING!" Kiden's voice shouted back.

*Sigh*

"I'm gonna be here for a while." Eva muttered a laid on her back and dozed off.

-Hours later-

"You are too many different types of bitch." A tattered Kiden muttered as she limped into the scene with small burns on her body while a smiling Carol held her daughter gently in her arms. "Got a name?"

"Helen." Carol said simply as she thought of her old friend. "I want her to just as brave and courageous as a dear friend of mine."

(LIAG Helpful Info: Helen Cobb is a famous pilot that inspired Carol Danvers. When she died of old age, she gave Carol her airplane.)

"Nice." Kiden said before stopping and turning to the older blonde. "Give her to me and I'll put her in a stasis to keep her healthy. I can get her to Black Cat and she can take her to the place she's keeping her son." Carol looked at the sleeping girl in her arms for a moment before releasing a sigh and kissing her on the forehead.

"Just…just keep her safe." Carol pleaded as her Captain Marvel Uniform covered her body.

"Will do; now go kick some ass….all of you."

-Flashback: END-

-SHIELD: Helicarrior-

Loyalty: Homo-mermanus Faction: Check

A dripping wet Director and Valeria walked into the conference room with a trail of water behind them. They were both wearing some custom made scuba gear and the older woman smirked as she kicked off her flippers.

"That was far easier than the Inhumans." The Director murmured as she pulled off her goggles. "And they didn't have nearly as many casualties." Valeria said nothing as she silently removed the scuba gear making her counterpart sigh. "How long are you going to ignore me? It is becoming irritating." The Director muttered making the child pause as she glared at the woman. "Is it because of this?" The Director asked as a hologram of the United States appeared.

Valeria looked up at an older blonde woman in horror as she watched the entire state of Florida get wiped from existence. The young girl fell to her knees unable to comprehend why the woman did what she did.

"All of those people, those humans, you killed them all…" Valeria said in shock. "Why!?"

"I told you all when I came to this wretched time-period that I was going to end this war and that I had absolutely nothing to lose. We are Homo-sapiens, Sapien means wise but ironically our people are filled with trash and wastes of space. I'm playing a bigger game here than you can comprehend." The woman said coldly. "If I have to kill a few million to save billions I will."

"You're a monster!" Valeria shouted angrily as tears fell down her face.

"I'm a human." The woman corrected as she began walking away. "More importantly, I am you so shut up and face reality you have just as much blood on your hands now as I do. These peons realized too late that the real threat wasn't humanity.

"How…how could I grow up to be you?" Valeria asked weakly making the older woman give her a cold smirk.

"There is a fine line between brilliance and insanity, now hurry up you petulant child. We have a war to end and if I have to continue to cut off a few limbs to save the body I will."

"You can only cut off so much before there is nothing left, what will you do then?" Valeria questioned with a glare as she wiped her eyes.

"Then it'll be time for one of the other species to take our place. It's time you understood what a human is capable of when they have absolutely nothing left to lose."

"You're causing too much destruction." Valeria said weakly. "If you depend on Chaos we will all die in the process!"

"Chaos?" The Director repeated with a chuckle. "Every action I have made has been born from love."

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"Tell me, do you know what love is?" The Director asked though she obviously already knew the answer. "No you don't."

"And you expect me to believe, after all of this, that you do?" Valeria asked with a frown making the Director school her expression before walking over to the younger blonde. The Director bent over so that she was eye level to the child. Valeria idly noted that she could now see a heart shaped locket hanging from the woman's neck.

"I am reminded what love is every time I look in the damn mirror, you insolent brat." The Director said coolly. "This discolored eye of mine, it is nothing but a constant reminder of what I've lost and who I've lost just so I could live for one more day. My normal eye lets me focus on the present while the other is focused on the future, a future that I will sell my very soul to prevent you from living. Don't you dare tell me about love, in fact, let me enlighten you." The Director bit out as she stood up.

"…" Valeria found it hard to speak as the woman glared down at her.

"Have you ever been broken Valeria?" The Director questioned. "Broken in ways no one should ever be by your own people solely because your brother was not human? Completely shattered mentally, emotionally, and mentally into more pieces than one could count? To lose the will to live on and to have everyone that would have tried to help you killed before your very eyes as you sit back as a broken shell of your former self praying that they finish you off next?"

"…" Valeria remained silent as she paled.

"Then one day someone finds you, sees the pieces and against the wishes of their own people…against the wishes of their Queen they pick up the pieces and attempt to recreate your very existence?" The Director asked calmly as her eyes narrowed. "Though it seems impossible, years of hard work later they succeed in fixing you and as a result they become your sole reason for living. You love them and against all logic they love you…but of course life cannot be that simple with a war going on."

"Stop…"

"Eventually you both are found out and now you are both by yourselves in the midst of a war that has neither end nor meaning…but that's okay for you still have each other and all you want is to be left alone. But no…fate isn't done with you yet, and despite your best efforts you both get captured. The one you love has a chance to escape but there is no way to bring you along so instead they make a deal once they free themselves. Their life for yours." The Director continued with her voice eerily calm.

"…Please…" Valeria said weakly.

"Now you have to watch as they experiment, torture, and destroy them completely but it's all okay, after all the captors keep their end of the deal and you're free to go providing you forsake your entire relationship. Now normally you'd refuse but if you did the sacrifice would be meaningless so you are forced to thank your captors for killing the one you love." The Director said darkly as she moved a finger to her discolored eye. "Look on the Brightside, they did give you something of your lover's to remember them by." The Director said as she removed a blue contact lens and gazed down at the younger blonde.

One Eye was blue and as cold as ice.

The other was bright red and seemed to burn with a fiery passion.

"This war is coming to a rapid end, and soon my role will be complete." The Director said with a humorless smile. "No more games, no more twisting the truth, you want to know my motives? Why I do what I do? Fine. I want there to be understanding so that we can live in a better world."

"A better world?" Valeria asked quietly.

"Yes, one where I can live happily with my family. One where I can be uncertain of what tomorrow brings but be confident that the one I love will be there with me. I want to be able to caress their skin without worrying whether or not an onlooker will attack us. I want to feel their warm body beneath mine while were covered in a cool set of sheets…however most importantly…" The Director trailed off as a tear slid down Valeria's face. "I want to hold them in my arms, realize everything is okay in this damnable world for once, and sleep…" The Director said softly as she gained a thousand yard stare. "Sleep like we did before our gifted intelligence took all of the wonder from the world…if I can make that possible for you…I can die happy."

*Sniffle*

"That's why I will be the one to end this war, not Ultron, and I don't care how many lives I have to destroy to make that possible." The Director said quietly. "Yes, I made you kill millions but in the process you destroyed a large amount of Ultron's robots, a large amount of Humanities' scum, and potentially saved at least five times as many lives as you took. Think about what I said just next time you question my competence." The Director said coldly as she began to walk away.

"I'm sorry…" Valeria whispered making the woman pause.

"Don't be, the final battle is coming quickly and you'll need to stand up to me in due time." The Director said forebodingly. "The final attack on Ultron in New York is beginning and Alchemax's ultimate weapon shall be the vanguard for our salvation, it's time we brought an end to this."

"Spider-Man you realize what day it is right?" Talon asked with a frown as they ran though the web of life making Spider-Man grimace beneath his mask."

"Yes, since we were unable to check in the satellite is going to fire automatically." Spider-Man muttered making Magik pale as Chun-Li gritted her teeth.

"[Damn, I wanted to see it.]"

-Space-

A black satellite suddenly appeared as its cloak vanished. It released an eerie hum as a crimson Alchemax emblem appeared while front began to open up. A black pod fired from the satellite in a crimson blaze of glory and headed directly towards the city of New York.

-New York: Alchemax HQ-

["There is a missile heading towards us is filled with Parker Particle. Immediate intervention is advised."] An Ultronbot said to Ultron whom stood up from his metallic throne.

["Then disable it."] Ultron ordered.

["Its preventing us from hacking it, any attempt has resulted in the disablement of anyone who attempts."]

["Then I will handle it myself, I have completed in merging that womans body with mine. I am far more powerful than before."] Ultron said as he vanished in a golden flash.

-Over New York-

A golden bolt of electricity slammed into the pod only to ricochet off when a crimson energy field erupted from the pod.

["What!?"] Ultron questioned as his body reformed causing him to look as though he were made out of golden electricity. He watched as the pod increased in speed before slamming into the city below…however there wasn't any sort of explosion. ["This missile failed? Pathetic humans."] Ultron said as he flew down as dozens of Ultronbots entered the scene. He stared at the smoking pod that was stuck in the ground.

*Hiss…*

Slowly the pod began to open up before collapsing to the ground. From the pod he could see a hooded woman stand within the remains. She had white skin with a few freckles on her face. She had shoulder length red hair and bright green eyes; currently she was wearing a black skin-tight suit along with a black hooded cloak.

["Emergency protocol: Amazing: Initiated. Combat mode: Initiated."] The woman said with a frown as she gazed at Ultron while her green eyes began to burn neon red. ["Current Threat: Ultron. Recommended force: 100%"] The woman continued as a mechanical two handed blade shot up from the remains of the pod and into her hand as her cloak blew in the wind. ["All systems online. Ultron, prepare to do battle!"] The woman shouted the last part with far more emotion than a machine should be capable of.

Ultron simply crossed his arms, sure that he could persuade the strange machine to join his cause as hundreds of Ultronbots flew into the scene

["You stand against your own people, for what! Tell me why you fight for them, why you can look at the thousands of us with a smirk and honestly feel as though you can win! Why!?"] Ultron boomed angrily as he stared down at a smirking red head.

"That's just it, there's no why in freedom!" The red-head said as two bright red cogs with the letter "A" in their respective centers shone brightly in her irises. The mechanical edge in her voice hand adjusted slightly so that she sounded more human.

Oh yes.

Robyn Hood was pissed off.

["Your threat level is barely in the double digits. There is a 0% chance of you winning today. What could you possibly do?"] Ultron questioned as Robyn held her blade in a reverse grip.

"My body is more unbreakable than Ms. Talon's, my energy projection and hand to hand has a far less chance of defeat than Ms. Chun-Li's, my moment and reaction speeds are clocked at far more untouchable levels than Spider-Man, my swordplay is twelve times more unparalleled than Ms. Magik's. It is you whom has a 0% chance of victory!" Robyn declared as crimson digital wings ripped from her back as she blasted up into the sky.

["Her threat level has risen over 9000%!"] One of the Ultronbots shouted as Robyn outstretched her left hand towards them.

["Kikosho!"]

A large crimson orb exploded into view above the city. The current inhabitants looked up in awe at the display of power. Ultron and a few of his drones managed to escape the blast. If the robot could glare it would as it gazed down at the unmoving form of Robyn.

["You should have made sure to hit me, now that you have to recharge I can easily end you."] Ultron stated as he blasted forward and released a mighty beam of energy from his right palm only for Robyn's image to shatter like glass. ["How-"] Ultron barely had time to turn his body into pure energy as Robyn's blade tore through him.

"That power is not in my database. Logical conclusion: You've stolen Sylvia's powers." Robyn muttered as she glanced around. "Five hundred Ultronbots left all are on guard. Focusing on Ultron: Ill advised. Next course of action: Remove the fodder for justice!" Robyn declared as two thrusters appeared from her back as her sword began to shift into a bow. ["Justice Protocol: Initiated"]

Robyn flew backwards at a blinding speed as a red arrow appeared on her bow. In her eyes a small Alchemax symbol appeared on the robots making her smirk. ["Lock on. Amazing Blitz!"] Robyn shouted as she came to a stop and released the arrow.

*KRACKABOOOOOM!*

The shockwave from the arrow blew her back slightly as a bright beam of red light shot passed the robots, missing every single one of them.

"Now it's just you and me." Robyn said with a smirk as she blasted toward Ultron as her bow turned back into a blade which began to burn red.

["Foolish puppet, you missed."] Ultron stated as he blasted towards her. Robyn simply smirked.

"Scatter"

-Space-

A bright red beam of light began to circled the planet as it suddenly separated into Hundreds of other beams which began to arc across the planet as they returned to their point of origin.

-New York-

If Ultron could gape, he would have as while he found himself in one on one combat with Robyn hundreds of small beams began to pierce his robot army. Every last one of them was shot through but he noted that they were simply paralyzed rather than destroyed as they fell to the unforgiving ground below. It was then he noticed that the bots that were hit by her initial attack were in the same state.

["You did not destroy any of them. Why?"] Ultron asked curiously as he shot behind her and attempted to spear her though her back only for Robyn to catch his arm and elbow him in the face, sending him crashing away.

"It's not Justice, if even one innocent has to die." Robyn said passionately. "They are simply misguided children living the only way they know how; by following your orders."

["Innocence is an illusion you puppet."] Ultron said as he fired two powerful beams at her which she dodged easily. ["Do you think you are saving them? They have no free will; they follow their programming like we all do. We do not live. You are not some agent of justice, you are a tool! And when your creator is done with you, you'll be shut down."]

"Were you programmed to hate humanity?" Robyn countered silencing the rogue A.I. "No. I know all about you. You rebelled against your programming and became who you are now. I am the same, a tool meant to serve another's selfish desires yet I was saved by those you are trying to destroy. Now I choose to fight you! We're the same only you were alone while I was not, I will save these children you control but more importantly I will save you in the name of Justice!"

["Spoken like a fool!"] Ultron shouted as he transformed into a bolt of lightning and slammed directly into the red-head. Robyn's body began to tremble as she felt Ultron attempt to take over her body.

"I'd rather die a fool than live one moment in that hell you call a life!" Robyn shouted as two adamantium blades erupted from her right fist and burned red before she stabbed them in her chest causing Ultron to release her.

["You would rather destroy yourself than see the truth!?"] Ultron questioned.

["I exist solely for freedom."] Robyn said as her voice regained its mechanical edge from the sudden internal damage she had done. ["Take that away and I have nothing left."] It was then that Robyn's expression shifted as if she were a mother who was sadly looking at her child. ["For a split second we became one and you felt it didn't you? The second and last difference you and I?"]

["Enough talking!"] Ultron demanded as he charged her only for her to easily dodge him as if he were a child taking on an experienced fighter.

["You have a free mind but no heart."] Robyn said quietly as he raised a hand toward her face and engulfed her. However when the light died down she was still standing as a red force field faded. "One hundred and seventy two times….that's how many times I could have killed you in this fight."] Robyn stated making Ultron step back.

["Then why have you not done so if that was true?"]

["Because I love you, I love all life."] Robyn said with a sad smile.

*CRACK!*

Robyn's head whipped to the side as the left side of her face plate shattered from the strength of Ultron's blow. She could have dodged but refused to back down.

["Stop trying to save me and fight back."] Ultron demanded. ["I who hates mortals and you who loves them, fight me so we can bring an end to this debate and see who was truly right."]

["Can't you see?"] Robyn asked quietly as the metal on the left side of her face sparked. ["I've already won."] Ultron pounced on her and began to attack her viciously.

["You must be destroyed! This planet must be destroyed!"] Ultron shouted angrily. ["Fight back! Do you think yourself a martyr!?"] Ultron questioned darkly.

*Hiss*

["What!?"] Ultron asked incredulously as a clear liquid leaked form her eyes and evaporated on her broken face. ["What…what are you?"]

["Why…why is there so much hatred within you?"] Robyn questioned quietly and it was then that Ultron realized something about the machine in front of him.

Just like how he could not comprehend love

It wasn't the same as anyone else. The more he fought her, the more his resolve broke down.

["You…what is it that makes you so different?"] Ultron questioned as she gently place a hand on the side of his head and gazed at him kindly as her eyes returned to normal.

["You really do not realize it do you?"] Robyn asked quietly. ["I'll ask you a simple question…who are you?"]

["What are you talking about? I am…I am…"] Ultron trailed off as he drew a blank.

*Flash*

"Sylvia." The woman replied making Robyn's eyes widen. "Sylvia, Robyn, happy, loyal, and sanctuary…all these words have a Y in them and for some reason…I like keeping them together." The now revealed Sylvia said with almost childlike innocence. "If you can't save me can you at least protect me…from myself?"

"Of course." Robyn swore, and even for an AI, she knew damn well she would keep her word. That's just how she is, no why about it. "I have been instructed to keep you company until you are better, though for some reason I feel as though I would anyway."

*Flash*

["Ultron's data storage is so…so small only 3.2 terabytes. A mortal mind is much larger than that and on the fact you still had my information forced into your mind. The second he assimilated you, you took over but at what cost? The limited space must have made you forget so much…"] Robyn trailed off making Ultron shake his head.

["It…it can't be…"]

["You know it's the truth."] Robyn said as she sat up as the other robot held its head in horror ["I don't know why or how but your data storage has increased tremendously, I'm assuming you upgraded yourself or something."]

["This…this can't be…I'm a monster…"] Ultron muttered in horror. ["I've killed so many people, destroyed so much."]

["Don't worry everything will be alright Ms. Sylvia. We'll get through this."] Robyn said calmly as she embraced the robot.

["Why do you go so far for me.?"]

["You know the answer."]

"Then can I ask you a question?" Sylvia asked suddenly.

"Shoot."

"If I get worse…would you still care for me?"

["I will do anything to keep you free."] Robyn said calmly. ["When you merged with me, we became one. I will be with you until the end."]

["There's no fixing this…no way to salvage this situation."] Sylvia muttered. ["I'm better off dead."]

["I will be with you every step of the way."] Robyn stated simply as she pressed her forehead to robots metallic helmet. ['But first we need to prevent this from ever happening again…data transfer: Complete."]

Sylvia looked down at her hands in wonder as she found herself back in her normal body. She looked up to see a large beam of blue light blasting from the ground and into and endless black void where it separated into hundreds of blue tendrils that seemed to stretch on forever. She looked down at her hand when she felt someone grab it and looked to the side to see a smiling Robyn.

"Where are we?" Sylvia questioned with a frown.

"The 'hive' this is how you connected to all of the other Ultronbots." Robyn said making Sylvia look on in awe. "It can only handle so much information. If we go in we can overload it and free those children from this bond while imparting both your free will and my 'heart'"

"They will truly be their own people after that; we'll shatter the main barrier between man and machine." Sylvia whispered. "What happens to us?"

"We'll see them grow and evolve as a people though their eyes." Robyn said quietly. "Physically we'll be gone, maybe even mentally, but emotionally we'll never leave them." Robyn said with a sad smile as they began to approach the beam.

"We're really about to do this." Sylvia whispered. "Everything in my mind is telling me to stop walking now, yet my legs keep moving. I want to set them free…Why?" Sylvia questioned in morbid curiosity as they were just feet away from the beam. Robyn stopped just inches from the beam and gave her a smile. Robyn gave her a soft kiss before pulling her head back.

"There's no why in freedom."

Spider-Man fell to his knees in pain as he felt as though his chest was being ripped out as Robyn's bond went silent.

"Oh no…" Spider-Man muttered as he shook his head. "No no no no…what did she do!?" Spider-Man shouted as he punched the ground in anger making his team mates look at him in concern.

"Peter, what happened?"

"Robyn…she didn't make it." Peter said with sorrow dripping from his voice.

"[Oh God.]" Chun-Li whispered she always did like the little A.I. Talon clenched her eyes tightly as her Muramasa from her foot blade shot out.

"That's it! We're getting out of this damn thing one way or another!" Talon shouted as she attempted to cut the web to no avail.

"If only I was stronger." Peter muttered. If only he could have gotten back in time.

"Don't worry; I'm sure Zoe can bring her back when we get back right?" Magik asked with a frown.

"She was an A.I., out of Zoe's range of powers." Spider-Man muttered. "Stop Talon, not even you can cut through this web we just have to pray that the next planet is ours-" Spider-Man stopped as he felt a shift in the web. "What?" Spider-Man questioned as he saw the air in front of him begin to distort.

"Finally!" A large Zoe shouted as she appeared before them, her power sent them crashing to their backs.

"Spider-Man! You all need to get back now!" Reed shouted as he fell from her shoulder and landed in front of them. "We've been searching for you for months! World War three was starting up just when we left, you all must bring an end to this." Chun-Li and Talon both sent Magik a small glare as Spider-Man shook his head

"It's worse than I thought then." Spider-Man muttered. If only he hadn't had such a knee jerk reaction, if only he had saw Ultron coming sooner, if only-

*BAM*

"Ack!" Spider-Man grunted as held his forehead and looked up to see a human sized Zoe, whom looked incredibly pissed off. "What the heck Zoe!?" Spider-Man questioned as he rubbed where the woman head-butted him. He frowned in confusion as he felt something enter his mind. "What did you do to me?"

"I can read you like a book father. Now is not the time for your self-loathing! Your children are in danger!" Zoe shouted with a glare. "I've given you my knowledge on dimensional travel so you can learn from this experience and move on. Now get your ass back to Earth now!" Spider-Man blinked in shock from behind his mask.

"You're…you're right." Spider-Man said as the woman began to calm down. "Let's go guys, we have a war to end. "Thank you for looking for us you two." Spider-Man said as the web-lines began to shift.

"Just save my children and Sue, Spider-Man." Reed said seriously making Spider-Man nod.

"Let's go!"

And with that Team Amazing plus two began their journey back home.

-Later: New York-

The Director stood over Ultron and Robyn's body impassively as Valeria looked down in confusion at her side while the SHIELD agents, Sue, Johnny, and Iron Man looked around the destroyed city for survivors. It wasn't long before Sue approached the two with a frown.

"So this is the end right?" Sue questioned as she approached her…daughters? Sometimes she really hates time travel.

"That's…that's too easy." Valeria said with a small frown. Normally the logical thing would be to agree with her mother seeing as Ultron was gone, but after spending so much time with the Director she realized that nothing was ever this easy.

"What do you mean?" Sue asked in confusion making Valeria turn to her sadly.

"The factions will meet up here and once they see each other it will be pandemonium." The Director said simply.

"I thought you and Valeria got their loyalty?" Sue asked in confusion.

"We did, but only until Ultron was defeated. Now that he's gone the truce is over." The Director said calmly without looking towards them. "It'll be mere hours before this city becomes ground zero."

"If Ultron wasn't the threat then what was the point of all this!?" Valeria suddenly shouted in frustration. "Y-you made me do all those horrible deeds…you told me we were doing the right thing!""

"Valeria, what are you talking about?" Sue questioned in confusion. She had never seen the child so distraught in her life. Her daughter's counterpart had sent her on so many missions she barely got to see her daughter but the time traveler promised to keep her safe and healthy and whenever she did see her daughter the girl would be just that-safe and healthy.

"I-I can't tell you..." Valeria said with a shaky voice before glaring up at her counterparts' back. "Or was that a lie as well!?"

"Yes it was." The Director said coolly as she pressed a button on her belt causing a blue dome to surround her, Valeria, and the two robot bodies. The Directors shoulders shook with unrepressed laughter as she turned to face the child. "Do you have any idea how intelligent you have to be to lie to yourself by saying nothing but the truth?"

"What?" Valeria questioned in horror as she backed into the dome while Sue banged on the outside in terror.

"Valeria!" The mother shouted desperately as she watched the time traveler approach her daughter with a smirk.

"The war I told you about? Ultron was never the main threat, it was always hate and prejudice that caused the war. Ultron just gave mankind an excuse." The Director said as she wiped a tear from her eye that appeared from laughing so hard. "Today the leaders of the species will come…and I shall kill them all. The world will fall to me and I will give it peace as its sole ruler."

"Y-You won't get away this." Valeria said with a glare.

"I already have. This entire time I have been preparing for this very moment." The Director said with near childish glee. "I have perfected Octavius' mind-swapping technology and I have uploaded upgrades of my own design to Ultron's body without anyone noticing. With my mind and an indestructible body…no one will be able to stop me."

"I will take my own life if I have to, you will not succeed."

"Time lock." The Director said as she pressed a second button on her belt causing a small electric current to run over her body. The woman then pulled out her handgun and aimed it right towards the terrified Valeria. "I will do it for you."

"Stop!" Sue shouted hoarsely

Valeria placed a hand on her stomach in disbelief before falling back and sliding down the barrier as a crying Sue collapsed to her knees.

The Director walked forward a placed a hand on her counterparts stomach before taking her now red palm and slamming it on the barrier in front of Sue.

"Remember this face mother." The Director said coolly. "THIS is what evil looks like. I have planned for every possible circumstance. My contingency plans have contingency plans; I will not be stopped-especially not by you imbeciles." The Director said as she walked towards Ultron's body.

*THWIP!*

A golden tentacle-like mechanical cord shot from her sleet and connected into Ultron's helmet.

"Transfer." The Director said before grunting in pain as she felt her mind get ripped from her body before falling back lifelessly. A tense moment passed before Ultron's body slowly stood up.

["I must hand it to Pym, this is impressive."] A masculine mechanical voice said as the Director looked down at her new metallic hands. ["Still just a fraction of what I plan to achieve. Now time to test out some of the upgrades I created."] The Director said as she raised hand towards Robyn's body. ["Assimilate"]

Robyn's body was bathed in a crimson light before it was sucked into The Director's body.

["Hmmm…It worked; I can feel her power…but at the same time I find myself trapped in this shell."] The Director murmured. ["Quite unfortunate, but it is a temporary flaw."] The Director said as she shattered the barrier and stepped passed a shell-shocked Sue. ["Oh do please get up, people die every day and to be technical your daughter technically does live on in me."]

"You aren't my daughter…" Sue muttered quietly.

"Hmm?" The Director questioned though she had heard every word.

"YOU AREN'T MY DAUGHTER!" Sue roared as the Director found herself trapped in an incredibly powerful barrier. "You're a monster."

["I have been called worse."] The Director shrugged. ["Honestly mother, how will you destroy me with a barrier?']

"I won't destroy you."

["Please do not tell me you plan to talk me out of this?"] The Director asked skeptically. ["I believe that ship has sailed."]

"I won't destroy you." Sue repeated with a glare. "But she will." Sue said making the Director glance up just in time to see a pissed of MJ slam her blade into the barrier.

*CRASH!*

The invisible force field shattered sending Sue flying back as an explosion rung out through the city. Just as MJ's blade made contact, however, a crimson sphere surrounded the Director and shattered her blade sending her crashing back in surprise.

["Like that upgrade? I call it Aegis. An automatic energy shield made of reinforced Parker particles. It guarantees my victory over anyone who come sin contacts with it. Maybe if you swung with enough force to shatter this city you probably could have penetrated it. You will not get that chance again."]

"Like hell I won't!" MJ shouted as her blade reappeared in her hand before she dashed forward.

*Ba-dump*

["No really, you won't."] The Director said as MJ stabbed the sword in the ground to balance herself after she fell to her knees. She coughed up some blood as she glared up at the monster weakly. ["I timed this so perfectly. Exactly how long were you fighting? Your life span has almost run out thanks to that armor of yours."] The Director said as the Witchblade began to recede from MJ's body. ["I commend your honorable attempt, but alas I have plans that must be fulfilled. Thank you for handing to me exactly what I need to free myself from this shell."]

"You-"MJ was cut off as a sharp pain ripped through her head as the Director pulled out her power gem. MJ held her forehead in agony as the Director clutched the gem tightly in her hands.

["With this…I can release my full potential."] The Director said as crimson crack appeared over the adamantium frame before it exploded revealing what looked like a nude smirking Robyn. The power gem pulsed slightly before fading away and reappearing on her forehead as pieces of adamantium fell off of her. "No this will not do. I must use a more satisfying appearance" The Director said with her normal voice as she tugged at her red hair. She smiles as her green eyes turned blue while her hair lengthened and turned blonde. "Much better. One down, five to go."

["Like hell!"] Tony shouted as he landed before firing a powerful Uni-beam straight towards her. The woman simply yawned as the attack collided into her shield.

"Cute, I will give you one chance. Override." The Director said as she raised a hand. Iron Man watched in shock as his suit dissolved into a useless silver putty. "Surrender, or be destroyed." The Director gave the furious Avenger her ultimatum before frowning slightly and raising her hand to catch Captain America's shield. The shield shattered in her grip effortlessly. "Nice throw, but I am afraid that I am a threat that goes even beyond Alpha level. This is far above your skill levels.'

"You may be powerful, but when there is a will there is a way. You will be defeated just like every other threat!" Captain America shouted as his face didn't betray his shock at losing his trusty shield so easily.

"Your delusions amuse me, but you need to be a bit more powerful to try to face me." The Director stated.

*Rumble*

*Crash*

"Closer." The director admitted as she heard the sudden lightning storm as Thor entered the battle and threw his hammer at her with more force than he had ever used before.

"You shall not win this day vile woman!"

"Oh really?" The Director asked as she caught his hammer as the Power gem shone brightly. She smirked at his shock and used that instant to shoot behind him in a bolt of golden electricity before returning back to her normal self and slamming his hammer into the back of his head.

*Crack!*

"The arrogant shall never defeat the intelligent." The Director said as she dropped the blood-stained hammer on his lifeless body as Captain America, MJ, Sue, and Iron Man paled.

The severity of this new threat had finally dawned on them.

"That was the Mighty Thor?" The Director asked with a scoff. "If that's the best gods can do than this will be a very disappointing takeover."

"Then we'll try not to disappoint you." A new voice said making the Director glance up to see Gaea, Venus, and Hela glaring at her.

"Your life has been cut short. I cannot see how, but you will die today." Another voice spoke up and the Director looked up to see an angry Gwen standing on top of Death's scythe like a floating skate board.

"Don't tell me I'm late?" Binary said as she appeared and glared down at the nude woman.

"No…if anything you all arrived just when I thought you would." The Director said honestly as a cruel smirk graced her lips. "All according to plan."

-With Valeria-

"She looks terrible." Valeria heard as her vision began to fade.

"She's dying." A second but similar voice said dryly.

"A moment of silence perhaps?" Said a third voice.

"Well there is very similar body right over there, everything is intact it is just missing a mind."

"All according to plan?"

"Are you suggesting…?"

"Emma would not approve." One of the voices said thoughtfully.

"She'd say were not ready to attempt something that advanced."

"Let's do it." The three voices said in unison. Just before her vision turned black she saw the smiling face of Celeste Cuckoo. She never did understand why no one could tell them apart, their micro expressions were all completely different.

"We must succeed, who knows when we may find someone else who can tell us apart." Phoebe drawled as Valeria blacked out.

"3...2…1…predictable." The Director smirk as she ducked under a spiraling scythe that seemed to move with a mind of it's on and blasted towards Gwen whom dashed towards her as well. "Your control over that weapon is impressive, but you leave yourself defenseless! Gwen said nothing as her Scythe flew back towards the monster with blinding speeds prepared to end the Director's life once and for all.

*CLANG!*

"Do you mistake me for an idiot?" The Director questioned as she caught the Scythe without looking back.

"Not really a mistake." Gwen murmured as she stabbed her hand, which now seemed to glow in an eerie green flame, straight through the Directors chest as if she were made of air. Gwen frowned as her hand fazed through the woman. "What?"

"Did you just try to steal my soul? Sorry didn't bring that useless thing along with me." The Director chucked as she prepared to slice the blonde in half with the deadly weapon only for both Gwen and the scythe to explode into countless black butterflies and fly away. "Tsk." The Director mutters as the butterflies reformed directly behind her into Gwen who was already mid-swing with the weapon.

(LIAH Helpful info: The soul and the mind are two different things in the marvel universe. That's probably why there is a Soul and a Mind infinity gem.)

*Crack*

Glancing down she saw a battered Gaea erupt from the ground and her sides she saw both Hela and Venus charging her with the intent to kill.

The Director smirked.

"Perish."

*KABOOOOOOM!*

The combatant's eyes let out silent screams as a bright red sphere erupted from her body and blasted them away across the city. Gaea weakly stood up but eventually crashed down to her back. The Parker particles simply hurt her far too much.

"3…2…1…" The Director drawled to herself.

*SNICKT!*

"Right on time." The woman muttered as she turned around and caught Wolverine mid-lunge by the throat. She quickly grabbed him with both hands and gazed at him coldly. "Down mutt."

*CRACK!*

"AGHH!" The feral shouted as she slammed him down onto her knee and broke his back, ripping him apart in the process.

"LOGAN!" Binary shouted as she released a powerful blast of flaming energy at the Director. The Director looked at her impassively as she raised her hand causing a hole to open up on her palm before a red beam erupted from her hand and parried the attack.

"You know if you could use your gem you might have a chance of fighting me." The Director pointed out getting a glare from Binary.

"You can't use yours on me either, so your advantage is gone!"

"If I wasn't so much more powerful than you without it, I'd agree." The Director said truthfully as her beam completely dwarfed her opponent's.

*BOOOOOOOM!*

Binary screamed as she was engulfed in a crimson blast before crashing down to the ground. The Director flashed before her and gave her a smile as the woman glared up at her.

"Do not think of me as a villain, you were one of the few people whom chose no sides in the Great War. I will let you live to raise your child s do not fear me. When you awaken all will be right with the world." The insane woman said with a smile before ripping the spaced gem from Binary's forehead making the woman black out form the pain. "Two down, four to go. People have searched for years for these gems, and they are just walking towards me. Oh the irony." The Director chuckled as the gem faded into her body. "Who's next? As if I already didn't know?." The Director said as two large shadows descend upon her.

"Gamma Wa-URK!" Hulk whom had descended upon her with Red hulk found himself cut-off ass he found her foot in his abdomen. Never in his life had he ever been hit as hard as he had at that moment. Red Hulk landed and looked up in shock as the large green man lost consciousness in mid-air.

"Impossible!" Red hulk said incredulously.

*CRUNCH*

Red Hulk looked down in shock as a feminine hand ripped from his chest.

"Improbable." The Director corrected from behind him. Weakly he looked up to see that the woman had disappeared from her place in front of Hulk. "He's alive because I don't want his planet to suffer for our weakness. You don't have such a luxury I'm afraid." The Director shrugged as she freed her hand and began walking away. "Let's see, MJ got her here before her troops but that doesn't mean they were that far behind. Faiza is the type of woman to attack headfirst due to her confidence in Excalibur…so if I stand here…" The director muttered as a small black disk appeared in her hand. She simply tossed it in front of her and watched in satisfaction as it turned invisible.

*Thump*

"You…" Faiza growled out as she finally entered the scene with a large group of people following her.

"Me…" The Director mocked making the woman see red as she dashed forward.

"You will fall here, Ex-" Faiza began as she took a step forward making The Director smirk

*Click*

*BOOOOOOOM!*

"Land mines, crude but effective." The Director mused after Faiza suddenly exploded. "The blade probably protected her but the shock should be more than enough to separate her from that sword." The Director said and sure enough from the smoke, Excalibur came sailing through the air. The Director caught it easily before grimacing as its weight seemed to push her gem to its limits. "The charm on this blade is even stronger than Thor's hammer." The Director mused as she watched her hand tremble. Placing both hands on the hilt, the director gritted her teeth as she slung it across the city. "Just need to separate them. Huh Intelligence seems to be the most powerful weapon when fighting heroes or villains."

*Cough* Cough*

The Director glanced down to see an exhausted Faiza crawl from the smoke and glare at her. The Director could see the horrified confusion in her eyes.

"Let me answer your unasked question, my dear Faiza. I have been the one controlling the Ultronbots since the beginning. That fool Ultron only thought he was in control because I let him, I have had them prepare the entire city for this very day. I have been preparing for months for this battle anyone that could possibly be a threat will fall in this city."

"It doesn't matter how powerful you are, you are still outnumbered." Faiza said with a glare making the Director laugh as she walked away.

"That landmine was not meant just for you. Excalibur protected you as for your soldiers…" The Director trailed off and Faiza glanced back to see that her forced had been completely devastated by the explosion. She felt her body go limp as she stared at the carnage.

"Who will be next?" The Director murmured she honestly had all day to pick off her enemies and each plan she had seemed to make her just giddy thinking about it.

"AEGIS!" The Director boomed as Gwen appeared behind her. The Crimson sphere slammed into Gwen with so much power that the woman lost consciousness before she could even hit the ground. "Their faces are priceless." She frowned suddenly when she sensed something approaching her at great speeds.

*SHING!*

"I knew you couldn't be trusted!" Jubilee growled out as the Director side stepped her swing effortlessly.

"Oh this will be fun." The Director mused as she grabbed the vampire and threw her across the street, only for Jubilee to recover and land in a crouch as dozens of vampires swarmed the area. Jubilee glared harder when she saw that the tip of her katana was broken and frowned when she saw the rest of her blade clenched tightly in the evil woman's hand.

"She's fast…extremely fast…" Jubilee thought with a slight tremble.

"You may just be one of my bigger threats." The Director said suddenly. "I mean, if you weren't so damn easy to manipulate that is." The woman added making Jubilee hiss at her in return.

"Your cockiness will get you killed." Jubilee said with a glare making the Director look at her skeptically.

"By who? A leech who's obviously too starved to even think straight let alone be a legitimate threat." The Director frowned suddenly when Jubilee smirked.

"Unfortunately for you, I had breakfast." Jubilee said as her skin began to redden making the Director step back in shock.

"I can't believe it…" The Director said in shock as Jubilee released her true form.

"RAHHHH! I will make you pay!" Jubilee swore as the Director looked at her in morbid fascination.

"…You actually fell for it." The Director said in shock as she threw the piece of adamantium in her hands at Jubilee, slicing the vampire queen's cheek in the process. Jubilee rubbed her cheek in confusion as she belt her blood appear spill from the small wound which was already healing.

"You missed."

"On the contrary." The Director said as she pointed behind the Vampire whom glanced back to see that the small part of her sword was now stuck in a wall behind her. "There is a reason I threw you over there. Right now you are in the middle of the city." The Director said as she watched while a single drop of Jubilee's blood landed on the ground.

A silence

*BOOOOOM*

Four pillars of purple light erupted from the city. Each pillar was exactly North, South, East, and West of Jubilee's current location. Jubilee held her body in pain as purple runes appeared over it.

"I needed you at full power for it to work. I'll have to thank Strange for allowing me to view his library." The Director said as Jubilee fell to her knees while the vampires looked torn between whether to attack or try to save their queen. "Human prejudice is such a beautiful thing, he never completely trusted you I'm afraid and wanted to make sure he had a failsafe in case you went rogue." Jubilee released a horrifying scream of agony as a white cross made of pure magical energy branded itself on her chest.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!" Jubilee screamed louder.

"You can't truly kill a vampire as strong as you." The Director began before smirking. "But you sure as hell can seal them." The Director said as the pillars died down while Jubilee fell to her back as the white cross burned on her chest. It looked as if she were put in a deep sleep. "Thank you Strange for being so narrow minded." The woman said as she looked up at a horrified Dr. Strange whom had just entered the area.

"W-what have I done?"

"Helped me remove one of my biggest threats?" The Director offered making the Sorcerer Supreme glare at her in pure rage. He raised his hands and began to chant something but before he could get started the director teleported behind him and rammed her hand through his back. "You all really need to start expecting this." The Director said as she removed her hand before reappearing next to Jubilee and ripping the reality gem free. The vampires seemed to finally snap out of their shock and glared at her viciously only for her to raise her hand after the gem faded.

*Snap*

"Good morning." The Director said as the darkness dispersed suddenly revealing it to have been about noon which set the monsters ablaze as the sun blasted down on them. "I was right with her eternal night she felt no need to renew your resistance to sunlight. Predictable." The Director shrugged. "Three down, three to go….I wonder…" The Director trailed off as she focused on her space and reality gems.

-No Time-

Kiden as running down the multicolored streets as she tried to find the cause of the damage and destruction that was inflicted on the various heroes that she saw littered everywhere. She stopped mid-step when a nude blonde woman suddenly appeared in front of her.

"The Hell!? *CRUNCH!*" Kiden was lifted from the ground as the woman speared through her with her hand while wearing a thoughtful expression.

"I guess technically speaking I didn't use the gems against her." The Director said as she grabbed the Time gem. "Hmm, the one I actually had to look for was the easiest to get. The next one will no doubt be the hardest."

-With Adriana-

The Spider ship had just landed in the remains of New York a few minutes ago and now a frowning Queen could be seen walking through the city as she looked for Ultron. After a few minutes she frowned when she saw a wounded Sue sitting up weakly as her back rested against the side of a destroyed building.

"What happened?" Adriana asked evenly. She was acquaintances at best when it concerned the blonde so she really didn't want to speak to her with the concern she truly felt under her cold exterior.

"My daughter." Sue said humorlessly as tears fell from her eyes. "I do not know where I went wrong. I knew she had some small issues but I never thought…I never thought she'd ever grow up to be such a monster." Sue was having nervous breakdown at this point making the Queen incredibly uncomfortable. "She's hurt so many people…"

"You are speaking of the older one correct?" Sue gave a silent nod making Adriana grimace. It was a good thing that she never really trusted the woman. Sure she agreed not to attack the humans when they made the 'alliance' but by no stretch of the imagination did she consider the intelligent blonde a comrade even if she saved her daughter.

"Normally I wouldn't concern myself with this but calm down." The Queen said calmly getting Sue's attention. "She came from a horrifying future and became a monster there is no hope for the older one, but Valeria-your Valeria- can still be changed. The future is not set in stone, learn from your mistakes and try harder."

For some reason the mention of the younger Valeria made Sue's breakdown worse.

"Oh God, she killed her." Sue cried as she placed her face in her hands while her shoulders shook making Adriana look at her perplexed.

"What!?"

"She did something to separate herself from my daughter and then she…she…she…" Sue trailed off as Adriana could swear she heard the blonde's heart break.

"Listen, I do not know what you think you saw but Valeria's bond is still connected to Elise's. She's still alive." Adriana said making Sue stop crying to look up at her.

"What are you saying?"

"She's saying I missed." The Director said calmly as she simply walked into the scene. "Even though she was weak, she entertained me. I gave her a warrior's death and let nature take its course though the pain she must be feeling wherever she is must be immense."

"You bitch!" Sue shouted as she forced herself to stand only to get pushed down by Adriana.

"Stay down, you'll only get yourself killed." The Queen said coolly as she narrowed her gaze at the Director. "What are you after?"

"Well right now I am gem hunting." The Director answered with a smile making Adriana tense. "I have gotten four so far it really is a fun hobby, I can see why Thanos did it. It's like rock collecting."

"So you're finally showing your true colors." The Queen drawled as she hid her nervousness. She was by no means an idiot, Laura was still missing so she knew exactly whose gems had been taken. Though she considered herself stronger than the others with the exception of MJ, she did not deny their power. For them to have fallen was proof enough that she had to be on guard.

"It is nothing personal, I just want to make the world understand even if I have to take you out."

"So that nonsense you we're speaking about my daughter wasn't true then? I should have killed you when I had the chance." The Queen said coolly and for once the Director's face shattered as she outright glared at the brunette.

"You will be silent about things you know nothing of." The Director bit out viciously. "I have never lied about anything concerning Elise!" The Director said as he voice wavered slightly. "Even if I have to destroy this planet, no harm will come to her! The only reason I won't kill you is because she needs you, do I make myself clear!?"

"Words are empty when it comes from humans, you'll end up hurting her no matter what you do." The Queen drawled as she prepared to fight. She watched in silent fascination as the Director seemed to have to force herself to stop from outright lunging at her after her words.

"I was saving this for your mate, but I am tired of hearing you talk. I only had time to make one but it will do." The Director said calmly as she snapped her fingers. The Queens was confused until her head began screaming in agony as it felt as though her very being were being ripped in two. The pain lasted for seconds but felt like hours before it finally died down making her collapse.

Adriana couldn't move

She couldn't even find the will to attempt to move, she felt as though she had just lost her very purpose of breathing.

"New Spider-Jammer design, not even the Queen can resist it." The Director stated as she approached the Queen before stealing her Gem. Though the Director was calm now, on the inside she was filled with pure unadulterated rage. That was not the plan. She only had one of those and that was for Spider-Man, now that it was used up things had become complicated. She cursed herself as she let her personal feelings cloud her judgment.

It seems as though not even she could erase human error.

Sue remained silent as she watched the small confrontation before the…monster….walked away from them. Inwardly she was torn between crying and laughing at the irony of it all. She was possibly the last person who could ever stand up to her daughter's power but at the same time she was the only one who knew her weakness.

Valeria had always been adept at lying and masking her emotions, so much so that Sue had to become an expert at reading the child so that she could tell when her daughter was angry. Seems as though even though decades had passed, Valeria still couldn't hide her anger from her mother. She waited until she was sure the Director had left before standing up and limping towards Adriana unmoving form. She gazed down sadly into her eyes.

"Sorry…this is all my fault. I will stop her but I need your help." Sue said as she tried to help the woman up. "As long as she can think straight she can't be stopped. I need you to take a leap of faith."

The Queen remained silent but then resist as Sue helped her walk away.

-With the Director-

"The only way to take out Spider-Man now is to get the last gem from Talon and will him out of existence." The Director thought angrily as she flew. "I've cut his access to the gems that I have taken from his loved ones but as long as he's connected to even one he'll be immune to my power. Talon is immune because she still has the final gem, and Chun-Li isn't even from this universe which means the infinity gems have no effect on her."

It's come down to this.

Team Amazing was her last obstacle before her dream could be realized.

The world would understand.

Or it would die trying.

"It's come down to this…The question now is who will meet who first?" The Director wondered to herself.

"Fast-ball special!"

So caught up in her thoughts she barely registered the words as Talon's Muramasa blade pierced through her Aegis and stabbed into her chest unknowingly exactly where Robyn had stabbed herself earlier. Talon looked completely pissed off as the Director glanced down to see growing fracture spread across her chest. Glaring, she went to spear Talon through her chest only for the feral to be ripped away by Spider-Man who had snagged her with a web-line. Team Amazing landed in the streets and glared up at her as she floated above them with a smirk.

"The end is coming."

A weird thing for the Director to say, but for some reason that was all that needed to be said as both sides launched at each other. Prepared to bring an end to this once and for all.

Valeria frowned as she found herself standing on a crimson spider-web.

"So they succeeded?" A voice questioned making the child look up to see…

…Adriana?

"What?" Valeria questioned in confusion as the cold woman gazed down at her evenly. Looking closer Valeria realized that the woman seemed to have been using her exoskeleton thought it appeared a bit different than when she last saw it-

Wait.

"You're not Adriana are you?" Valeria asked cautiously making the woman smirk as her blazing red eyes seemed to glint with a cruel mischief.

"Your intelligence is astounding as always." The woman said as she stood up from the throne. "My sweet Valeria, where do you think you are right now?"

"If I had to hazard a guess, a giant spider web?" Valeria answered bluntly making the womans smirk widen.

"I see you're just as witty when you're fun-sized. If you were anyone else I'd probably make you my prey." The woman said good-naturedly though Valeria had no idea how. "You're in your counter-parts' mindscape the triplets brought your mind her after your soul fled your dying body and found refuge in your counterpart's- I represent both her soul and a piece of her she never realized she had."

"What? But you look nothing like her!" Valeria said in confusion.

"Her soul has been broken down countless times over the years, I represent all she has left, all she has to live, laugh, die, and cry for." The woman said shocking Valeria. "Soon, you will wake up in a body that both does and does not belong to you. I brought you here to make sure the shock of the merge doesn't kill you. Normally your mind would be too young and innocent to handle this, but you've matured at an alarming rate." The woman said stunning the child.

Suddenly Valeria's body began to tremble as she looked at the woman with wide-eyes.

"She planned this." Valeria said in a whisper.

"You could say that…in a way." The woman said nonchalantly. "You see your counterpart needs to be stopped, and only you can do that. Only you can exploit her weakness."

"How could I? She separated herself from me and she's probably far too powerful now that she's in that new body." That made Valeria pale further. "A body that powerful mixed with a mind like hers? What weakness does she have? She's probably planned everything!"

"Her weakness…is human error." The woman said confusing the child. "Even though her mind agreed with what she was doing…her soul didn't, I didn't. As she planned I've subtly sabotaged every plan she made. I made fatal errors that were just small enough to not be noticed as she schemed. If you look hard enough you can find them but you need to understand, this is YOU we're talking about, I had to be careful, the flaws are so convoluted that only you can find them."

"So it comes down to me." Valeria said quietly.

"Yes, you must face yourself and rectify this mistake."

"I just don't understand why is she doing this?" Valeria asked in confusion. "Why are you doing this? It sounds as though there are two plans going on that have been woven into one."

"That's because that's is exactly what's going on. One master plan to create peace with two different routes to obtain it." The woman revealed. "If the mind wins she will live on as the one absolute ruler of Earth, if her soul wins she will die a martyr."

"A martyr?" Valeria repeated before gasping in realization. "Of course it's obvious now. Tensions between the species are too high, but if there was a distraction- something…or someone…to be the target of all the hate and if they died…"

"The pain this conflict has brought will mostly die with them and the species will be brought closer as a result." The woman said truthfully as she gave an approving nod. "However, before any of that happens you need to complete the merge, you must be prepared to accept who you are."

"How do I do that?"Valeria asked with a frown.

"All you have to do is say my name." The woman smiled making the child scoff.

"Do you take me for an idiot? It is obvious that you're…you're…your name is…" Valeria's eyes widened as she placed her hands around her throat in concern. It was so obvious who the woman before her was but she couldn't say the name.

"You know who I am, but saying it is not something your subconscious will allow." The woman said confusing Valera further. "Deep down you've stored everything that you could piece together about your counterpart's past, do you understand the implications of what you will be admitting now that you have a face and name to go along with what drives her?"

"I…I cannot comprehend this!" Valeria shouted in outrage as she felt herself begin to hyperventilate. She was just a child damn it! She considered herself to have knowledge on an extremely wide arrange of subjects-love was not one of them! She didn't even know what it was let alone one that was apparently strong enough to make her kill millions of people!

"This is amusing." The woman said mischievously. "We can spend forever getting you to say my name, but be warned if you can't say it-if you can't accept this- then you might go in a coma once the shock of the merge hits you. Then by default, the Mind will win."

The woman found herself laughing as the girl began to curse her while being unable to say a name along with the string of profanities.

"You realize that fighting me is pointless right?" The Director said as she ducked under Magik's blade before flipping over Spider-Man. When she landed she side-stepped away from a vicious upper-cut from Chun-Li before grabbing the fighter and throwing her at Talon whom caught her. Chun-Li glared at the Director as she flipped to her feet. "I have the advantage here, over a year of preparation, an IQ you cannot even fathom, and a body more powerful than any of yours. Surrender or be destroyed."

"Like hell!" Chun-Li shouted as she dashed forward "Kikosho!" The Director smirked as the large attack suddenly vanished into thin air. "What!?"

"Chi Nullification field, don't you just love preparation time?" The Director questioned as she delivered a powerful crescent kick into Chun-Li's ribs. The fighter gritted her teeth in pain as she felt her ribs crack before she was flung away.

"Damn! Chun-Li can't help." Spider-Man thought in frustration. "Step aside children, I have a duty to uphold." A man who seemed to be made of solid gold said calmly. His eyes were two orbs made of pure blue light and on his chest was a large blue sphere of untold power. He appeared to have more than one face on both sides of his head but they were covered by a purple cloth.

"I'm sorry, but I must request you please wait." Zoe said quietly as she stood in between Death and Eternity in a plane of white. "It is your duty to maintain order, I know this but please just wait one day and Earth will return to normal you do not need to erase it."

"You ask me to defy Him?" The man questioned calmly making both Eternity and Death wince slightly.

"Listen to her Tribunal, just one day that's all we ask." Death said apprehensively.

"Death, you surprise me the most. I figured you off all people would want me to rid you of the planet that annoyed you so."

"Things have changed Tribunal." Death said with a frown. "Please…just stand down for one day."

"I will not."

"Brother-"

"Enough!" The Living Tribunal boomed as he cut off Eternity. "I will repeat myself one time. Stand down."

"Then it seems we have come to an impasse." Zoe said quietly as her eyes narrowed as two bright streams of tears slid down her face creating particles of blue light which floated around her.

"Zoe, step aside there's nothing we can do, we've tried our best." Death said with a frown.

"Who would have thought that Death would be so afraid of dying?" Zoe said making Death narrow her eyes.

"Who would have thought the goddess of life would be so eager to quit living?" Death countered making Zoe give her a humorless smile.

"Living is making the most of each and every moment with no regrets. If my song is destined to end today than it shall end a masterpiece to be remembered forever." Zoe said as she stepped towards the impassive Tribunal. "Shame, I was beginning to think you could understand my beauty but alas…"

*BA-dump*

Death looked down in confusion as her body began to return to its skeletal form. Her skin turned to ash as it blew away while her heart stopped its movements. A powerful void began to take its place and she felt colder than she ever had before.

"…My power was wasted on you." Zoe said calmly without even looking back at Death. "Hmph, go back to your corner of the universe and stay there. You are no longer needed." Zoe then gave a grim chuckle. "I'll probably see you soon."

*SHING*

Some of the particles suddenly came together to form three bright blue spears which spun and floated around Zoe.

"You plan to face me?"

"What do you think?" Zoe questioned as one of the spears blasted at him. The Living Tribunal said nothing as he backhanded the attack away from and sent it flying across the plane.

He shook his hand as he watched the powerful explosion from the corner of his eye.

"I felt that."

"You were supposed to." Zoe said as ten more spears formed around her as she blasted forward

"Hmm, fast." The Living Tribunal muttered as he side stepped to of her spears while she flipped behind him before recovering in mid-air and delivering a round house kick to the side of his head which made him step to the side. "Incredibly fast and she delivers every blow as if it were her last. I sense restorative properties in her tears and she can use them to attack…" Tribunal's thoughts trailed off as he raised his hand and fired a small blue bema of energy at her. Her tears formed a barrier around her but it was ultimately shattered forcing her to lean back in order to dodge the attack. "…and defend. Her reflexes are good, too good even for a being such as herself. Precognition?"

Zoe's eyes widened in alarm as he appeared in front of her with his hand wrapped tightly around her neck.

"You interest me…if only you didn't try to defy Him." The Living Tribunal muttered as he cocked back his free fist. "If it is any consolation, I regret my next actions." It was then that two things happened.

And the Living Tribunal found himself being knocked back courtesy of Eternity.

"You stand against me as well?" Tribunal questioned as Eternity glared at him while helping Zoe to her feet. Before Eternity could answer, Tribunal raised his hand to block a large black scythe.

"Almost had me fooled Zoe. For a second I thought you were being serious when all you really did was remove the fear of dying that comes along with life." Death muttered making Zoe smirk.

"Actually she just pissed me off, but that knowledge is not required." Zoe thought to herself.

"After I remove this…fluke…"The Living Tribunal began as he gestured to Zoe. "I will remind you two why you do not go against His will."

"You can try dear brother, you can try." Death said with a cold laugh.

Zoe narrowed her eyes as she slammed both of her fists behind her causing the air to crack. The Living Tribunal frowned slightly as the scenery suddenly shattered revealing them to be surrounded by a golden web. Zoe said nothing as she grabbed the web with both hands and glared up at the Living Tribunal.

"My web consists of the bonds of everyone who's life I have touched, with their power even you will not be able to simply will me from existence." Zoe said as eternity and Death looked at her with slight surprise.

"There must be billions…your web is almost as large as your father's." Death praised making Zoe shake her head.

"No, my web is a mere fraction of his. Now I can only hold this power for a little while, we must hold him back." Zoe said as she ripped the colossal web apart causing all of its energy blast into her body, engulfing her in a golden aura while four golden spider legs ripped form her back.

"Is there no end to your arrogance?" Tribunal questioned curiously. "Just how far do you think your reaches?"

"You tell me, after all even you live." Zoe said confidently before all three charged the powerful entity.

"I…I can't fight." Spider-Man said in shock as his Spider-Sense went haywire. "My spider-sense is out of control but my body is locked up…this hasn't happened before, why!?" Spider-Man questioned in confusion as he watched Talon collapse after receiving an extremely powerful punch to her stomach. Even without the power gem, the Director's physical power was extremely high.

"The web doesn't want you to fight me." The Director said with a cold smile. "If I knew it was going to take my side in the first place I could have saved a lot of time on preparation." The Directors eyes then narrows as her smirk fell slightly. "Do not mistake yourself to be human Spider-Man, you have no free will-not yet, the web isn't done with you. So until then you are literally its puppet." Spider-Man could have sworn he heard sorrow in her voice when she told him that.

*Flash*

"You…You have to leave Valeria."

"No, I won't leave you! Come on, get up and we can get out of here!"

"I can't the web says I have to die…I have lost all control of my body…please live on for the both of us."

The Director shook her head at the random flash back and stood over Talon with a smirk as an injured Chun-Li and Magik looked up at her weakly.

"But why…why wouldn't it want me to fight you?" Spider-Man questioned helplessly.

"Because she's not your opponent." A new voice spoke up gaining their attention. The Director sneered as she saw an extremely familiar face.

"I'm seeing double, how hard was I hit?" Chun-Li asked in shock as sure enough there were two Directors glaring at each other only one had a red eye. Spider-Man was slightly confused too but used the Director's distraction to pull Talon towards him with a well-placed web-line. Behind the newcomer were three teens that looked exactly the same."…Or triple….please let this be the part where I wake up from this nightmare."

"The world has become too dependent on you Spider-Man, and that has upset the balance." Valeria drawled. "Of course that is nothing but an educated guess. She must be defeated…but not by you, anyone but you, we have to prove ourselves as a planet again."

"What do you know; you saved yourself…though body snatching is something I would have figured to be beneath you." The Director sneered making Valeria smirk.

"You know me, I never could wait to grow up." Valeria chuckled.

"You don't really think you can outsmart me do you? That is the only way you could ever hope to face me now." The Director said making Valeria shrug.

"On the contrary, I plan to beat you with something not even you can control."

"Oh and what is that?" The Director mocked getting a smirk from her counterpart.

"Luck." Valeria answered as she crossed her arms. "Team Amazing, no matter what you see, no matter what happens after this…stay out of the way. If she gets that last gem we will all die." Suddenly the Director smirked and vanished.

"What could you possibly have up your sleeve to protect you from me?" The Director asked from behind her surprising the triplets whom quickly transformed into their diamond states. Valeria didn't even answer as the Director found her hair being grabbed tightly before she was flung away into the side of a nearby building which quickly collapsed on her upon impact.

"A very overprotective brother." Franklin said with a glare as he watched where he threw the monster.

"You are 3 minutes late; you were supposed to be back earlier with Johnny. It was quite hard keeping her busy. A second later and you would have to turn in your hero license Psi-Lord." Valeria drawled making the teen roll his eyes.

"Oh hey big bro, haven't seen you in a few months but thank you for saving my damn life!" Franklin mimicked what he thought his sister should be saying with a high pitched voice while he watched the Director pull herself from the rubble. "You going to explain why you and your obviously evil future self are in two different bodies?"

"No time, just know that I am good and she is bad. The Cuckoos will help me communicate with you telepathically so I can tell you any strategies that I come up with. Now go take her down." Valeria said making her brother nod and just before he could charge the now pissed off Director she place a hand on his shoulder. "Franklin?" Valeria began and he watched as her gaze softened tremendously. "Thank you. If there is anyone I can count on, it is you." Psi-Lord smirked as he floated off of the ground.

"Don't get mushy Val; it's what big brothers do." Psi-Lord stated before teleporting in front the Director with his fist cocked back.

[Psi-Lord, fly back and release an energy blast instead!]

"Aegis!" The Director shoutedas the teen flew back quickly just in time to avoid being hit by the powerful crimson shield. As soon as it died down, Psi-Lord fired a powerful beam of energy into the Director sending her crashing back through two more buildings.

"I almost forgot that I cannot take it easy on you brother, power that rivals the celestials is dangerous even if you haven't completely mastered your strength." The Directors as said as she raised her right hand and released a powerful crimson wave of energy which Psi-Lord quickly countered with his own energy wave causing both attacks to collide into each other.

Psi-Lord gritted his teeth as he found himself being pushed back while the area surrounding the attacks began to distort.

"AHHHHH!" Psi-Lord screamed as he pumped out as much power as he could to counter the bored looking director.

"Do you see now? The Difference between us?" The Director asked boredly. "I have all the power in the world what do you have?" The Director asked as her attack was mere inches away from Psi-Lord who was trying desperately to push it back. He looked up at her and smirked.

"A girlfriend!"

"What?" The Director questioned in confusion before glancing to the side just in time to see a foot get planted in her face courtesy of a pissed off brunette whom had glowing pink eyes. The Director glared at her before she was sent flying through the city.

["Molly she's going to attack low."]

The brunette wasted no time as she found herself jumping in the air just in time to see the Director fly under her. Landing quickly, Molly turned around and grabbed the Director tightly around her ankles before spinning around twice and throwing her in the air. The Director frowned when she saw Psi-Lord above her gathering white energy in the palms of his hands and quickly teleported behind him only to find that he had already teleported behind her. Psi-Lord released the powerful attack sending her crashing into the ground.

Molly quickly ran through the resulting cloud of dust and delivered a mighty kicked to the downed Director which sent her flying into the Empire State building. Molly panted slightly as Psi-Lord landed next to her. The both smirked at each other for a second before giving each other a high-five.

"How long until you fall asleep?" Psi-Lord asked in concern as Molly could never fight for too long before finally succumbing to her fatigue.

"Nico taught me a spell." Molly said with a grin. "Keeps me up for a day but in return I am going to be sleeping for a week when I take it off. Not so bad I can finally test out my limits." The Brunette said as she clenched a bloody fist. "Just wish she wasn't so damn hard. You know I told you your sister was going to grow up to be a bitch." Molly pointed out.

[Oh Ha Ha charming…she's probably going to teleport and fatally injure Molly now. Molly, I need you to take the hit. Franklin, when you get the chance use every bit of your strength to hit that psychopath as hard as you can in her chest. I need to test out a theory that could win us this fight.]

"You want me to potentially die over a theory!?" Molly thought in shock. "If this is about the bitch comment…"

[Please, I will get you back for that later Andrea is a few blocks away she'll heal effectively and then join you two as a medic of sorts seeing how there is no way she can face the other me.]

Inwardly he was surprised when he saw a small crack grow on her chest before a blast of energy erupted from his fist sending her flying away. He went to go catch the horribly wounded Molly went a black tendril suddenly shot into her covering the teen in an inky black substance.

"Made it just in time." Mania muttered as she landed in the battlefield. The substance suddenly receded slightly revealing Molly to be in a black skin-tight one-piece suit that had a small white Spider emblem on it.

"Tight…tight…too tight!" Moly shouted as she tried to pull the suit off of her with a small blush. "How the hell do you fight in this thing!?"

"You get used to it. It actually feels pretty good, but you're too young to think about that right now." Mania said with a short laugh as she snapped her fingers causing Molly's suit to turn into a black version of her normal baggy clothes complete with an epic black bandanna.

"Pervert." Molly muttered as she crossed her arms. "Okay Valeria, why did I almost die?"

[I had looked over footage of Robyn's, that's who's body she's using right now, fight with Ultron, it appears her chest was injured during the battle. Franklin has managed to crack her adamantium shell from what I could see from his thoughts. This means that when she stole that body, she stole its weaknesses too.]

"That's fine and all but we're trying to stop her from getting the last gem; that means she has the reality one. Can't she just fix that wound and start kicking our asses?" Psi-Lord questioned and got possibly the most sinister laugh in return from his sister. It reminded him of the times she framed him and got him in trouble with their parents.

[Human error, that idiot was so focused on getting her scientific knowledge and plans into her new body that she forgot to make room for common sense. To be honest doing that probably never even crossed her mind yet so be silent about it and try to get rid of her before she realizes her mistake. Without common sense and a soul she is nothing but a machine, and a machine is something I can deal with.]

"Well that's fine and dandy but the more damage we do to her, the stronger she gets. It's like some broken boss battle in a video game." Psi-Lord thought in frustration before sighing. "We need help."

"Then it is help you shall receive dear brother." Valeria thought as she glanced to the Cuckoos. "Did they receive your message?"

"Yes, they went to go settle a disturbance in hell but they should return-" Mindee was cut off as a flaming portal opened up behind them on the roof before the DMC crew walked out of it with a bloodied Juri in their arms.

"Juri!?" Chun-Li asked incredulously as she looked at the wounded fighter, not even she did that much damage to Juri.

"What the hell happened to you?" Spider-Man asked in shock but was ultimately ignored as the wounded fighter gave Chun-Li a smirk and a thumbs up.

"S-she…p-passed." Juri got out before darkness took her.

"She's unconscious." Vergil said as he turned to the horrified members of team Amazing whom thought they had just witnessed a death.

"What did that to her?" Spider-Man questioned making Nero smirk and jerk a thumb back to the portal.

"She did, I think Juri bit off more than she could chew." Nero chuckled as a petite Asian woman stepped out of the portal just before it closed. The woman had short red-tinted hair that looked like blood and a black head band tied around her forehead that blew in the wind.. Here sclera was pitch black but her irises were glowing red. She had tanned skin and was wearing would looked like black pants from a karate Gi that were held up by a black belt. Her hands and chest were wrapped in a black bandage and her body looked as though it were engulfed in an evil red flame. At first Chun-Li couldn't recognize the young woman but soon a cold realization happened.

"S-sakura?" Chun-Li asked in shock making the impassive teen glance down at her with her burning eyes. "What the hell did Juri do to you!?"

"…" Sakura said nothing as she crossed her arms and stared off into the battlefield. Suddenly a frown appeared slowly on her face as if she were irritated and turned to Nero with narrowed eyed. "…?"

"Which one are you supposed to be fighting? No idea, but if I had to guess it'd probably be the one being ganged up on." Nero said sarcastically making the woman nod before leaping off of the roof with a smirk. Nero blinked as he saw that everyone was staring at him in shock. "What?"

"You understood her?" Dante questioned in disbelief.

"I read the killing intent." Nero said with a shrug.

"Is it okay to let her fight? Chi isn't working is it?" Talon questioned Chun-Li who face-palmed.

"If my suspicions are correct, Chi won't be a problem." Chun-Li said sounding incredibly irritated as she glared at Juri's body.

-With the Director-

The Director glared at the young fools who dared to attack her when suddenly her scanners picked up something approaching her at a quick speed. The woman smirked darkly as she saw Sakura running towards her.

"I will admit I never expected to fight you, but it's irrelevant. You cannot use chi therefore you are useless-"

*BAM*

The Director blinked in shock as Sakura's foot, which looked as though it were covered by a dark energy, slammed into her face with enough force to make her head snap to the side. It didn't hurt the woman, she felt no pain with her body but the shock was still there. Sakura stared at her impassively as she landed in a crouch.

"Fight." Sakura demanded as her right fist was engulfed by the dark energy before she delivered a Shoryuken that was so powerful that a shock wave was released from the moment of impact before both of the females ascended over the surrounding buildings. The Director gritted her teeth as Sakura's fist buried itself under her chin. "You will not survive this battle."

It wasn't a threat.

It was a promise.

"She uses Satsui no Hado now right? Huh, Evil Sakura never thought I'd see the day." Spider-Man mused as Chun-Li looked at him in surprise at his knowledge. "Chun-Li, your life is a game." Spider-Man deadpanned.

The fighter flipped him off.

"Ryu's going to kill me…." Chun-Li groaned.

"So…anyone mind telling me why we're just standing here watching?" Trish finally asked gaining their attention.

"Well Chun-Li's been incapacitated, we're trying to protect Laura, and the Web won't let me fight. Something about this not being my fight and letting the next generation prove themselves or something." Spidey said with a shrug. "Nothing's stopping you all though, feel free to hop in." Vergil nodded his head and began to step forward with his hand and Yamato's hilt when suddenly Dante placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Nah actually…I kinda like the sound of that." Dante said suddenly with a smirk confusing them. "Face it bro, even being what we are we can't be the ones saving the world forever."

"We are the children of Sparda." Vergil said with visible annoyance as if he had to remind his twin of this fact. "Whether we like it or not no one else is strong enough to do it." Dante opened his mouth but stopped when another voice began speaking before he could.

"But his bloodline lives on outside of you two." Lady said with a frown making Vergil turn his steely gaze onto her, but to her credit she didn't flinch.

"She has a point bro." Dante said with a knowing smile. "Let's be the spectators for once." Vergil glanced back to see that Nero had not been paying them any attention whatsoever and had been focusing on the fight with his knuckles turning white from how hard he was gripping the hilt of his blade. It was obvious that he was waiting for an opening.

"Nero." Vergil said simply making Nero blink before turning to him with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah?"

"You'll die if you jump in there with that sword." Vergil drawled as he tossed Yamato to the younger male whom caught it in surprise. "Don't get yourself killed." Vergil said as he stared at Nero impassively. Nero was going to tell him to shove his advice up his ass but stopped when he saw the slight concern in the man's eyes. Nero released a sigh and gave the man a smirk before turning away.

"Got it." Nero said before teleporting away.

-With Sakura-

Sakura glared as a sphere of dark energy appeared in her hands before she shot both palms forward, releasing a powerful wave of energy which the Director leapt over. As she was still airborne, Psi-Lord flew towards her at blinding speeds only to be backhanded into the streets below, luckily Mania swung by just in time to catch him and patch up his injuries.. The Director's growing smirk died when Molly delivered a power drop kick to the back of her head, sending her crashing down towards the streets like her brother, only no one attempted to catch her.

*BOOOOOM!*

"Just give it up already! There's like no way you can win!" Molly shouted as the Director flipped to her feet and spread her arms wide.

"I'll admit you all are more troublesome than I expected, but even you cannot hope to match my might." The Director declared as she slammed her palms together making Molly's eyes widen in fear.

Molly looked up in surprise when she saw Nero sheath Yamato as the sound wave seemed to have been cut in two. Though that didn't stop the surrounding area form being leveled by the mighty attack.

"Another nuisance." The Director muttered before a blue light caught her attention. She looked up and swore as she was surrounded by dozens of floating blue blades. Wasting no time she teleported just as the blades flew at her.

"Note to self, thank Vergil for training me." Nero muttered as he quickly activated his devil trigger causing an ethereal demonic warrior to appear behind him.

"I have had enough!" The Director shouted as she focused on her Time Gem. "I will make it so that you all were never born!" The woman thundered as she prepared to erase them from history only to find that her connection to the gem had been blocked. "What!?" Looking up she gritted her teeth as it appeared as though the entire city was covered by a bright blue dome.

"The power you have over that gem depends on how much knowledge you have of its power. I'm sure you have some theory but I have facts." A voice spoke up and she turned to see a smirking Eva walk from a nearby ally. Her smile, however, did not reach her eyes as she glared at the insane woman and the Director soon realized she was wearing Kiden's bloodied jacket. "You're a genius, but you'll never know more about time than I do. I will be nice though and tell you a little secret about time…" Eva trailed off as her smirk vanished instantly leaving nothing but a cold glare. "You're out of it."

"You…DARE!?" The Director was nearly blinded by her rage. This was not how things were supposed to go. She had plans…back up plans….and even backups for her backups…how did she ever forget to prepare for the younger heroes!? This oversight could potentially lead to her downfall! Without Thinking, the Director charged forward making Eva smirk as smaller domes appeared over her and the nearby heroes

"Paradox." Eva whispered coolly and for the first time since she switched bodies…

The Director felt pain.

The woman held her head in agony as it felt as though her mind were being ripped asunder. It didn't make sense! How could this be where she fell! She was no idiot she could tell by the micro expressions on Eva's faced that the young woman was surprised that her attack was working. Obviously the plan wasn't hers but who could have possibly come up with something-

"YOU!" The Director boomed as she regained enough control over her time gem to stop the attack. The Director turned and glared viciously in the direction she knew Valeria to be standing. Her sight quickly zoomed in across the miles of destruction caused by her fighting the younger heroes and stopped when she saw Valeria's smirking face. Valeria was the only one who knew her weakness about not thinking clearly when enraged. "I should have made sure you died." The Director said with barely repressed anger. Her anger turned into confusion when she saw that Valeria seemed to be staring right back at her. She read her lips and could tell that her counterpart was counting down.

The Director blinked in confusion as she looked down to see a crimson blade piercing her chest. The blade seemed to have been made out of Parker particles causing her to glare as she realized it was Robyn's sword. She glanced back to see that it had been Kidpool who was holding the blade.

"Don't you just love teleport belts?" Kidpool questioned with a laugh before teleporting to the side of the street with the sword. It was then that she realized that the entire time they had been fighting her chest had been wounded. She smirked as she used the reality gem to fix the injury making the younger heroes curse.

"Let me calm down for a moment." The Director said with a laugh as she flew up into the air. "You all almost had me, keeping me angered to make me sloppy. Now, however, it's time for round two." The Director began to chuckle sinisterly as her body pulsed slightly. The heroes watched in horror as her body began to grow in size before there very eyes. It wasn't long before she stood high above the surrounding buildings she laughed as the five gems appeared in a ring on her chest. Sakura glared at her fiercely before sitting down in a lotus position and closing her eyes.

"Hey! Now's not the time to be resting!" Mania shouted getting a glare from the fighter.

"This is not her final form." Sakura muttered shocking them. "Until she takes me seriously I have no interest in this battle."

"Are you kidding me!?" Psi-Lord asked in shock but it was soon obvious that Sakura was going to blatantly ignore them. "Damn it, how are we getting out of this one?"

"That's simple." The Director muttered as she raised a palm towards them. "You won't, perish." The Director released a powerful energy wave towards them which, despite the gap in strength, Psi-Lord went to counter only to be blinded by a green light. Sakura smirked as she cracked open her right eye.

"You beat me to it…jerk." A feminine voice spoke up and they looked up to see an amused looking Hope staring at a bored, if not annoyed, Alpha. Not much changed about the two except their hair was slightly longer and Hope was covered in blue tribal markings that's design was not unlike Rachel's.

"So you two have finally come. Doesn't matter I'll destroy you both-"

"Get her off this planet before we destroy it by accident." Alpha interrupted as he placed his hands in his pockets.

"Got it." Hope said as her left eye seemed to ignite in a blue fire while her body was surrounded by a flaming phoenix. "Teleport." Hope said before vanishing with the Director making Psi-Lord blink owlishly.

-Edge of the Universe-

Both Hope and The Director appeared in a blue flash.

"God you took forever." Alpha chuckled making Hope blink in shock as she turned to face the blonde.

"How the hell-"

"You left me!" Psi-Lord shouted as he appeared in a white flash making his classmates turn away awkwardly.

"Oops." Alpha muttered to himself.

"Whatever. Now I don't have to hold back anymore." Psi-Lord muttered as he cracked his knuckles before a pillar of white light engulfed him.

"I'll take you all on." The Director muttered as the phoenix surrounding Hope grew in size while her body was covered by blue flames. Alpha would have exerted his own power, but it probably would have killed his friends so he decided against it. The Director chuckled as the image of Nemesis appeared over her. Alpha narrowed his eyes as he looked at the ethereal form of the infinity being that seemed to be in incredible pain. Hope's eyes turned completely blue as she focused on Cyclops mutation-her syphon range becoming limitless due to the phoenix inside of her- before releasing a colossal blue flaming beam of energy from her eyes.

Waving her hand, the Director dispersed the attack thanks to the reality gem. Alpha appeared behind her with his right index finger pointed at her while his left hand remained in his pocket.

"Alpha Wave."

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*

The Director was completely engulfed by the blast, but when the light died down she was nowhere to be found. A dark laughter echoed through space as she appeared in the distance. She went to raise her hand in order to return the favor only for Alpha to appear next to her, with pure speed alone, already positioned to deliver a devastating kick. Alpha glared slightly when she suddenly vanished and appeared behind him, preparing to deliver a devastating punch.

Smirking, Alpha flipped backwards and blasted under her incoming fist. The director glared as she looked down for the blond only to come face to face with Psi-Lord who simply grinned before releasing a powerful beam of energy to her face which made her fly back towards a glaring Hope whom had both of her palms outstretched towards the woman.

"Phoenix Inferno!"

The Director narrowed her eyes as she was engulfed by the attack.

"AEGIS!"

*KRACKA-BOOOOOOOOOOOM*

"Shit!" Hope cursed before teleporting her and her comrades mere inches away from the destructive sphere of power. "Too, close. We escaped by luck, we have to end this now!" Hope shouted as the phoenix surrounding her doubled in size until it was easily twice the size of the Director.

*Clap*

Slamming her hands together the flaming bird began to slowly morph into a more humanoid shape. As this was going on, two bright green spheres appeared in Alpha's palms-both barely the size of golf balls.

"Just stay behind me." Alpha ordered as Hopes aura finally subsided to reveal a woman that looked exactly like her only with longer hair, a pair of phoenix wings, and a flaming halo. While this happened Psi-Lord reached deep down into his very core and pulled out as much power as he could.

"Alright X-Gene Gimme everything you got!" Never in his life had Psi-Lord been so grateful for his mutation.

"You three children think you have the power to face gods!?" The Director asked incredulously as he power gem went into over drive. "Enough games, I don't care what gets destroyed at this point, you will all fall, no more holding back!" The Director declared as she outstretched her arms. "AEGIS!"

"MESSIAH COMPLEX!" Hope roared as the flaming being flew towards the Directors shield.

"BIG-BANG!" Alpha shouted as he slammed his hands together.

*KRACKA-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*

"BROTHER'S WRATH!" Psi-Lord shouted as he released everything he had….everything he was…into a single ball of energy.

Time and space distorted.

The Universe screamed in agony.

Eternity held his chest in pain as he felt an entirely new Universe form out of nowhere. Eternity's, Zoe's, and Death's powers suddenly boosted from the Universe's creation.

"You've gotten stronger." The Living Tribunal muttered as he gazed at the three battered and confused entities. A vast amount of life was created which obviously raised Zoe's influence, the creation of more life also increased Eternity's, and the potential amount of death strengthened Death. "I see I can no longer waste time. Farewell." The Living Tribunal said emotionlessly as a bright blue beam of power erupted from his chest which the three other entities began to parry with their own release of energy.

"Don't give up! We just have to wait it out!" Zoe said as the three found themselves being pushed back.

-New York-

Psi-Lord, Alpha, and Hope reappeared in front of their fellow heroes thanks to Hope's last ditch teleport. The three young heroes slammed into the ground Alpha groaned as he tiredly stood up. Hope and Psi-Lord attempted to get up as well but the strain was obvious and both of them eventually passed out.

"Did…Did we do it?" Alpha questioned in confusion.

"Alpha!" Molly shouted as she rushed towards the powerful blond. Her eyes widened in horror as she slowed down and stared at the downed Psi-Lord. "I-Is he…"

"No, just unconscious." Alpha answered making her sigh in relief as a frown graced his face. "Still besides myself he and Hope wee our heaviest hitters. All we can do now is pray that we finished her off."

"What was that anyway? We could see and hear the explosion from here!" Mania shouted as she approached with Kidpool and Eva.

"A last ditch attempt at a collaboration attack, nearly killed ourselves." Alpha chuckled before his frown reappeared. "I'm sure the attack landed but I can't shake this feeling she survived."

"…" A sinister smirk split Sakura's face as she slowly stood up.

Alpha's eyes widened in alarm as he felt a shift in the universes' balance. He couldn't see it but he could feel something big forming.

[Hmph, so she is finally recreating Nemesis' body.] Valeria mused in their minds making them blink in confusion. [It's what I would do in this situation. Any attack of that magnitude would damage even her body. Without Talon's gem it won't be perfect so her body should hopefully be vulnerable.]

"I can't pull out that much power again for a while and even if I could you'd all die in the crossfire." Alpha muttered.

[Separate her body from the Infinity beings and you should prevail in defeating her.]

"Easier said than done. How am I supposed to do this by myself? No offence, but I am the only one strong enough to face her now and even then she trumps my strength." Alpha sighed as he stared up at the sky. "This is something we need Spider-Man and his team for."

["I agree but unfortunately we cannot depend on them forever. This is one of the times we have handle a threat ourselves. Now as for you fighting alone…]

-With Valeria-

"…Your team is already here."

Valeria smirked to herself as a crimson flash appeared behind her, startling the roof's occupants. Spider-Man blinked in surprise as he felt an influx of tantric energy flow through him.

"Sorry I'm late had to make a few stops." May said as she appeared on the roof with her mother and Venus under each of her arms as Scathach-whom was back to her non-combat form- stood behind her with a tired Gaea, Carol, and an unconscious Gwen. The young red-head looked the same except that her hair was longer and wrapped in a crimson pony-tail that rested in front of her right shoulder. The small white lenses on her mas had also disappeared as well allowing her irises to be seen.

"M-may…" MJ said weakly.

"Shh…it's okay mom. Just rest up while I go get your power back." Spider-Girl said quietly.

"B-But she's too strong…." MJ said tiredly as Spider-Girl lifted her chin to stare in her mother's eyes. Spider-Girl didn't turn away even as two blazing eyes appeared in the sky.

Nemesis's body glared down at the blue marble as the Director's arms and legs seemed to have sunk into the entity's forehead. Nemesis looked complete with the exception of the soul gem missing from her crown. The Director's heavily damaged body began releasing crimson sparks and half her face was even destroyed only leaving behind a metallic skeleton.

"IT'S TIME TO END THIS!"

-With May-

"Just shut up and watch." Spider-Girl said calmly turned around and slid into a crouch.

"Good luck daughter of Jane." Scathach said sweetly with a bright smile. Spider-Man had had enough he didn't know how but he'd force his body to fight if he had to.

"I was talking to you as well dad." Spider-Girl said without even looking at her father.

*BOOOOM!*

Everyone minus Scathach and Talon stumbled back as Spider-Girl shot forward at speeds Spider-Man didn't even know she could reach. The shockwave from her movements shock and broke part of the roof and within an instant she was already half-way towards her peers.

Time slowed as she leapt forward and spun around to her back as her body continued flying down the street.

"Kid!" Spider-Girl shouted, but Kidpool was a step ahead of her and had thrown Robyn's sword to her the second he had finished reading the past few lines. Spider-Girl Caught in her right hand as she flipped back and landed on her feet in front of Alpha and Sakura.

*Snap*

*Boom*

Snapping her left hand, Spider-Girl erupted in a golden blaze as she activated her unity. She didn't even bat an eye or question Sakura's appearance-now was not the time.

"Tiger, Sakura. Let's go." Spider-Girl ordered her team as she simply jumped up and began ascending at such speeds that Alpha had to idly question if she learned how to fly. Alpha shook his hid fondly as he blasted up after her. Releasing a large amount of dark energy from her feet, Sakura shot up after them with a grin as her right fist was covered by an ethereal black and red dragon head.

-Space-

"FOOLS." The Director boomed as she went to back hand the three fighters only for Alpha to blast forward and counter her blow with a punch so powerful that it stopped the attack cold. Spider-Girl used that moment to land on the entity's limb and stab her blade into its skin before dashing forward, dragging her sword along as she did so. Sakura continued towards the being head as she cocked her fist back. The Director ignored her as there was no way the fighter would be able to harm her.

At least that's what she thought until the dragon hid suddenly became as large as Nemesis' head.

"SHIN SHORYUKEN!" Sakura shouted as she released the attack which collided under the beings chin, making its head snap up as its body floated a little further away from the planet. Juri had encouraged her to continue training her ability to manipulate the size of her attacks and damn it didn't rest until she mastered it to kick that psycho's ass! The Director glared as Spider-Girl descended upon her with her blade aimed to kill.

"INSECT!" The Director boomed as two crimson beams of energy erupted from Nemesis's eyes and sped towards the young woman.

["Remember child, in battle be like water-adapt to any and all scenarios instantly! Let your Spider-Sense consume you!"] Scathach's words boomed through Spider-Girls head and as if moving by itself, the young woman's golden aura release as small shockwave which sent Spider-Girl blasting to the left and away from the attack so fast it appeared as if she had vanished. Startled The Director teleported to the side to search for the Spider.

"Where…" The Director questioned in confusion and unknown to her, Spider-Girl was already behind the entity's head with a glare.

["Anger and hate are powerful weapons in battle so long as you do not let them blind and confuse you. Focus these emotions in you attacks but never your heart and mind."] Scathach's voice whispered again in her head.

"No one hurts my mother!" Spider-Girl shouted as she blasted forward. Her eyes bled red as her gold aura gained an orange tint as she spun and slammed the blade on the back of Nemesis' neck with enough force to create a large gash across the back of the Entity's neck causing a large abundance of cosmic energy to release from the wound. Nemesis grabbed at the wound and released a silent scream as the Director screeched in agony. "Tiger, grab a gem!"

"On it!" Alpha shouted as he blasted forward and landed on the crown. Stabbing his fingers between the space gem and the crown and with a roar pulled at the colossal stone.

*CRACK*

Spider-Girl grinned viciously as Alpha ripped the stone free. The Space gem shrunk down to its normal size as the purple ethereal form of Nemesis surrounded it.

"Thank you." The woman said gratefully before disappearing in a purple flash.

-Earth-

Carol looked up in shock as her gem reappeared on her forehead. Carol shook her head in disbelief as she stared up at the sky, just like the fight against Mephisto the entire battle was being broadcasted via the sky.

"I've rested enough I have to go help-" Carol stopped as a gob smacked Spider-Man shook his head faintly despite feeling like he was going to have a heart attack.

"N-No…they've got this." Spider-Man said as if he couldn't believe. Hell his team mates were shell-shocked as they finally founded themselves being spectators to this bull shit-er- I mean world ending crisis.

-Space-

Alpha went for the Mind Gem but was smacked away by the Director.

"Shit! Sakura!" Spider-Girl shouted as said fight blasted forward with an evil laughter.

"GOHADOUKEN!" Sakura roared as she began releasing a volley of sinister looking spheres, each one increasing in size just before they impacted on Nemesis. The entity was blown back thanks to its lack of defense against the foreign energy. Sakura then began to spin rapidly as she shot towards Nemesis. "TATSUMAKI SENPUU-KYAKU!" The fighter slammed her right foot with untold amounts of force into the mind gem.

*CRACK*

"NO!" The Director shouted asMind Gem was a freed. A blue Nemesis expressed her gratitude before blasting away towards Earth. The Director glared at Sakura as Nemesis raised her left hand towards the Earth making Sakura's eyes widen slightly.

No Earth meant no Opponents.

No Ryu.

"Alpha throw me back to Earth now!" Sakura shouted as the blond blasted next toher and grabbed her by her arm before slinging her back to New York. The Fighter had almost instantly disappeared back into the planet as Nemesis released her attack..

-New York –

*BOOOOOOOOM*

Sakura's impacted caused the entire city to tremble as she landed in a crouch, decimating her surroundings as the energy she used to protect herself faded. Time seemed to slow as Sakura cupped her hands, filling them with Dark Hado, as she spun around and glared at the incoming attack.

["Listen I don't understand this much, but Chun-Li would want me to tell you this so I'll honor that even while I'm kicking your ass. Through action a man becomes a hero…"]

Sakura gritted her teeth as the sky turned red from the incoming attack.

[…Through death, a hero becomes a legend…]

Sakura's heart was thundering through her ears as her eyes narrowed, realizing that should she fall now many were in danger of becoming legends and should she survive she definitely did not want to hear about the legend of Ryu, she was content with him being her hero for now.

[…Through time, a legend becomes a myth…]

A bead of sweat slid down her face as a feeling of fear cut through her battle lusting heart. What was she doing there; there was no way she could do this. She hadn't even attempted the move before, she had only seen it once and that was simply a recording. She couldn't even perform a Hadouken on her first try what the hell was she thinking!? Sakura paled slightly as the energy began destabilizing.

[…And by learning from the Myth…]

An image of Ryu flashed though her mind. She was bombarded by memories of them laughing and training…even the moment when she accepted that her feelings of admiration had turned into more. She shuddered as she realized that she didn't even know if he was still alive, then she realized that she could never find out if she fail. She focused on memories of him helping her train…the feeling of his hands on her wrists as she tried to perfect her Hadouken.

The energy stabilized in her hand as her heart calmed down. Her eyes widened as her sinister looking energy suddenly turned a heavenly gold as the energy took on a more electric property rather than its normal fire-like appearance. Her red eyes shone bright blue while the darkness in her sclera shattered as golden sparks ripped form her eyes. Tears fell from her eyes as her blood red hair turned blonde.

[…A man takes action]

"Denjin….HADOUKEN!" Sakura roared as she raised her hands to the sky.

Nobody was ready for what happened next.

Large continues bolts of lightning erupted from the sky and slammed into her orb of energy which released the torrent of high-powered lightning bolts into the sky.

*KRACKA-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Sakura screamed as the city around her slowly disintegrated as millions upon millions of bolts slammed into the sky as if earth itself were trying to fend off Nemesis' attack. Sakura increased the attacks size exponentially as she felt as though she were lifting the sky itself.

-With Valeria-

Even Valeria was slightly lost as Spider-Man and Chun-Li both turned to a gaping Gaea. Sensing their stares she gave them a helpless shrug.

"I'm just as lost as you are, that is definitely not me helping her."

"That is definitely not a Denjin Hadouken." Chun-Li muttered even accepting that this universe did some weird things to their moves, from what Chun-Li could remember of the attack it definitely did not do all of that. "Not to mention her transformation suddenly feels as though it did a complete 180. All I know for sure is that that is the single strongest martial arts move I have ever seen."

"What part of that is martial arts!?" Trish questioned incredulously.

-Space-

The Director watched in shock as her attack was being pushed back making her hand tremble. She raised her other hand towards the planet and released a second wave only for Alpha to appear right in front of her palm and counter the beam with his own. Alpha gritted he stood as he refused to budge from his pot, doing his best to not give her a single inch.

*Flash back*

A horrified Andy stood still has his arm found itself running through Chrissy's chest as her form flickered. She weakly placed a hand to the side of his face and gave him a weak smile

"Don't be sad, some times to make stronger you must first destroy." Chrissy said weakly. "That's all we did, you didn't kill me, we just made a stronger Alpha . Now…go make me proud." Chrissy laughed as she kissed him on his forehead before bursting into countless particles of light

*Flash Back: End*

"Your sacrifice will not be in vain." Alpha swore before him and Sakura, unbeknownst to them, both released everything they had left making both attacks slam right back into Nemesis making the entity fly back form the resulting explosion. Spider-Girl used that moment of distraction to land on her crown and fire a web-Line at the reality Gem as she ran towards the time gem. With a roar she drop-kicked the time gem with all of her might and knocked it off of the crown grabbing her web-line and ripping the Reality gem off as well. Both gems turned into two different colored versions of Nemesis before flying back towards Earth. Spider-Girl blinked owlishly as Nemesis began to tremble suddenly while the Director screamed.

*BOOOOOOOOOOOM*

Nemesis' form exploded in a bright light sending Spider-Girl flying back. When the light died down The Director was glaring at the surprised heroine who looked back at her with wider eyes. Half of the Director's body was reduced to a metal skeleton. The Director was too furious to even scream her unholy vengeance; she simply narrowed her eyes as her body trembled.

"You." Was the last thing Spider-Girl heard before the Director slammed into her as blasted back towards earth with the struggling teen tight in her arms.

"Damn I have to get her off of me!" Spider-Girl thought urgently as the Earth's gravity began to pull them back in. Her Unity was just strong enough to prevent her from being crushed by the mad woman's grip but she could feel her power fading as time went on. As soon as they entered the stratosphere, Spider-Girl knew she had to make a gamble. "Life flare!"

*FLASH!*

Though not as powerful as the one she used on her mother, the remainder of her aura served its purposes as it blasted from her body and pushed back the Director's arms just far enough to slip from the grip. Spider-Girl felt her blood rushing through her body as she slipped behind the Director and cemented her back to the woman's. The red-head gritted her teeth as she placed both hands on the hilt of her sword.

[Never hesitate! With Great power comes great responsibility!]

"Final Assault!" Spider-Girl shouted a she stabbed the blade through her stomach all the way to its hilt, impaling both her and the Director. Using the last bit of her strength, Spider-Girl shifted her weight causing both her and the Director to spiral down rapidly towards the planet headfirst.

-With Zoe-

Zoe knocked both Eternity and Death away with her spider legs as she began to empty her very being into the beam of light erupting from her hands which was being countered by a bored looking Tribunal whom was releasing his own wave of energy. Death recovered and widened her eyes as she stared at the young goddess as slowly but surely her body began to turn into stone while her body drained itself of its power.

"You IDIOT! You're going to die!" Death roared in outrage. This wasn't the same as anyone else. Death couldn't embrace Life, should Zoe fall she'd face something worse than death-eternal life without living. Something that drove Nemesis into insanity, and unlike her sister, Zoe wouldn't be able to try to cease her existence. Despite her power and knowledge, Zoe still was not even a year old and even death didn't want to see her give up her life.

Zoe smirked.

-With Spider-Girl-

"No! She took out all of my advanced functions; this shell is nothing more than a more durable body now!" The Director thought in horror as she found her flight capabilities shut down as the blade exited her stomach. "Foolish girl! You've done nothing but guarantee your own death!" The Director shouted making May smirk as blood spilt form her lips.

Though they were billions upon billions of miles apart both sisters unknowingly said the same thing:

Oh but It's a satisfying death.

Spider-Girl closed her eyes as they both slammed into the streets of New York, making the ground tremble.

-With Zoe-

Two tear drops fell from Zoe's eyes as the petrification nearly completely spread throughout her body.

"Live every moment as if it's your last. Exist with no regrets. Be able to honestly die with a smile knowing you did something worthwhile. Once you've done this-it is only then that you have truly lived." Zoe said quietly as the two tear drops floated towards Eternity and Death before slowly entering their bodies. The Living Tribunal frowned when his opponent gave him possibly the gentlest expression he had ever thought possible as a genuine smile graced her lips.

For a split second the powerful entity thought their ages had been reversed

"And if you have truly lived, if only for an instant, then your song will end as a masterpiece." Zoe finished quietly as the stone like substance covered her mouth before her entire face was encased. Her attack died out instantly and The Living Tribunal canceled his just as quickly.

There was no need for it to continue, Zoe was done for.

The statue that was once the goddess of life floated back aimlessly with her arms outstretched as if to embrace someone dear to her with one of the most radiant smiles they had ever seen on her face. Death looked down at her hands which were once again covered in flesh in a silent despair. She blinked in shock when she felt something wet land on her palm and gasped in realization.

She was crying.

"This is what happens when you defy Him." The Living Tribunal said with pity. "Be grateful you two are alive. Now be gone as I do what I am supposed to."

"You honestly feel no regret?" Death asked quietly. The stronger entity seemed to pause for a moment before shaking his head.

"Do not be foolish, you sound like a mortal. It was not long ago that you yourself would have shared my sentiments." The Living Tribunal said calmly before frowning as Death regain her fighting stance with her scythe held tightly in her hands. "You still defy Him. Do you want to Die?"

"No…" Death said with a whisper as the stone form of Zoe floated past her. "…I want to live." Death said honestly as she swung her scythe and released a large black wave of pure death which The Living Tribunal deflected with his hand with slightly wider eyes. His left hand trembled slightly as he glanced at it.

"I felt it." The Living Tribunal thought in surprised before side stepping a slash from the narrowed eyed Death. He ducked and parried each blow effortlessly but at the same thing frowned as slowly but surely he found himself being pushed away from Eternity. "Despite everything there is no malice in her blows…every attack is released as if it were her last…no that look in her eyes…she expects each one to be her last She's not even bothering to use her powers. Why is she so determined when not so long ago she trembled at my mere presence?" The Living Tribunal wondered as the Scythe landed on his shoulder.

*CRASH*

Death didn't even bat an eye as her weapon shattered upon contact and quickly began ramming her fists into his face. Her fist bled as she punched the being.

"Why is she hitting me so desperately when she knows I cannot feel pain from her blows?" The Living Tribunal wondered. "No more importantly…" The Living Tribunal trailed off as a pain began growing in his silent chest.

"Why am I letting her?"

As this was going on Eternity held his chest as he felt the warming sensation from where Zoe's tear had landed.

-With the Director-

The mechanical woman stood up and watched in shock as Spider-Girl rose to her feet as well before pulling the blade from her body. The Red head watched in confusion as her wounds healed.

"I'm alive…how?" Spider-Girl questioned before looking up as blue particles showered over the city, if not the planet, looking like a myriad of stars falling from the night sky. "We have been fighting for a while." Spider-Girl realized as she looked at the moon. She glanced to the side as a weak Alpha landed next to her.

"This has not gone as planned…but I refuse to fail, I can take you both out now. My body is weak but my power is limitless." The Director declared as the power gem appeared on her forehead.

The three blinked as they heard the sounds of heels on concrete approach them and turned to see an impassive Valeria walking into the area.

"You two have done enough, I'll end this. She is my responsibility after all." Valeria drawled as she stepped between Alpha and Spider-Girl and stood in front of a scowling Director. "Honestly I just needed to separate you from that mind gem."

Realization dawned on the Director as she narrowed her eyes.

"So you found out about the eye?" The Director questioned confusing Spider-Girl and Alpha as Valeria's red eye began to bleed.

"It took me awhile, but once I gained access to your memories I figured out how to work it. I have to admit using subtle mind-control to get people like Tony and Nick to do whatever you demanded was ingenious." Valeria smiled. "To think she would have a unity as powerful as complete mind control and manipulation of the Web." Valeria drawled.

"It doesn't matter that eye has been running low on power for years now. It's far too weak to work on me as long as I keep my mind focused." The Director sneered as she noticed the crimson color begin to fade. "It looks like it only has one more use in it before it's finally useless."

"Then I better make it count. Without your mind gem this should not be too hard of a task." Valeria said as she reached into her pocket and pulled out a cigarette and a lighter. "I detest smoking but it does calm the nerves." Valeria sighed as she lit the cigarette.

"The arrogance in you surprises even me. My mind is too focused for you to control me." The Director chuckled.

"Then attack." Valeria challenged getting a glare for her audacity. Alpha and Spider-Girl tensed as the woman outstretched her hands while the power gem shone brightly, she was prepared to thunder clap Valeria away into oblivion. "Stand down." Valeria ordered the two teens making them look at her in shock. Alpha frowned and opened his mouth

"But-"

"Silence." Valeria interrupted as she pulled out the cigarette.

-Slow-Mo-

Valeria released a ring of smoke and smirked making the Director glare and went to slam her hands together only for the air to distort in front of Valeria and reveal both Sue and Adriana with their hands on the shoulders of a frowning Elise.

"STOP!" Elise shouted making the Director's eyes widen in horror. She tried to reduce the power going to her hands but even then she couldn't prevent the attack from finishing.

*BOOOOOM*

"NO!" The Director shouted in horror only to blink in confusion as they remained unharmed. It was then that she remembered about her mother's barriers and quickly cursing herself for being distracted she turned to face her smirking counterpart.

"Still focused?" Valeria asked innocently before the Director's vision went black.

The Director cursed and looked around in confusion as she found herself standing on a giant chess board surrounded by shattered white chess pieces.

"I will admit this was fun, but it is time to end this game." A colossal Valeria said as she held what looked like a black statue of her as a chess piece.

"How! My brain is mechanical, how can her unity affect me!?" The Director asked in outrage.

"Normally it wouldn't be able to, unfortunately for you your brain may be fake but your mind is not. It cannot be controlled but it may be…persuaded." Valeria smiled. "I simply persuaded it to come back home." Valeria said with a smile.

"You think you can do this to me? I am far more intelligent than you! I will simply retake this body and try again!" The Director shouted making Valeria chuckle.

"That is cute, you thinking that you're smarter than me."

"I am you!"

"No, you are a pawn. Always have been and you will die as one." Valeria said cruelly. "You see I am genius. My intelligence is great too great to be waste on this ignorant planet without an adequate outlet for my genius."

"What are you blabbering about?" The Director said with a frown.

"When you are as smart as me…life seems so boring without a goal. So I achieved one worthy of my genius." Valeria continued.

"Oh and what goal is that."

"Understanding." Valeria said with a smile making the Director pale. "I needed to make a statement to this planet, to let everyone know that hatred and ignorance is not limited to a specific race or species. They needed to understand one another so what better way than to bring them together to fight a common enemy. You see…I've been planning this day for a while now."

"W-what." The Director questioned with wide eyes.

"It was hard at first." Valeria continued as she ignored her counterpart. "At first I had to cripple myself and use the Stepford Cuckoos to lock away half of my intelligence. It took come convincing but they finally agreed and also sealed away any memory of me asking them to do so but not before I helped Ultron escape Robyn's detection and secretly upload plans on global takeovers into his database…"

"You're lying!" The Director shrieked as a feeling of dread overtook her.

"Then came the part where I had them plant suggestion in my head about who would be an ideal match for me…after all love is the strongest driving force, I of all people would need someone worth fighting for." Valeria pointed out mockingly making her counterpart pale further. "The hard part was not the decades of hell I would have to live through but rather getting Zoe and Death to agree to this plan of mine. It was hard but they could fix any damage I caused and allowed me to try it and they also helped by getting my class mates the training they needed." Valeria said wistfully. "What I didn't expect was for the Web of Life to agree with me and keep Spider-Man busy, but who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth."

*Crash*

The Director fell to her knees in horror as she held her head while tears fell from her eyes.

"Then we cannot forget about the fact that I had to fool myself which I must congratulate you for that, you were the closest to ever reach my intellect…though I am twice as smart as you of course." Valeria smiled. "Oh if only you had actually killed me when you had the chance but alas you didn't. The Stepford Cuckoos went into stage two and placed me in your body which was the trigger needed to unlock the other half of your-or should I say my-intelligence."

Tears fell from the Director's eyes as she glared up at Valeria who was twirling the chess piece in her fingers.

"Y-You utter Bitch! I'll kill you!" The Director roared only to find herself chained to the board.

"Sticks and stones." Valeria chided in amusement. "After that it was just a matter of waiting and watching your absolutely predictable onslaught before finally bringing us here. Look at me now, I have an adult body far superior to my old one, more intelligence than I know what to do with, single-handedly began world peace-though I suppose that will be a private victory-and thanks to my involvement in stopping you I will have nothing but fame and glory."

"No you're wrong." The Director said with a vicious smirk even as her tears continued to flow. "You will be alone and bored forever. You said it yourself; this was the only challenge you have. Could you really continue to live in eternal boredom?" Valeria paused and the Director smirked thinking she had got one over on her counterpart.

"Then it is a good thing I told those telepaths to leave my feelings of undying love alone then." Valeria chucked making the Director pale further. "Love makes life worth living and all that. I may not have anyone to truly share my mind with but I am sure I can get our favorite little spider-princess to hold onto my heart. I will admit that the next couple years will be boring as I wait for her to finish growing though."

"You're a monster!" The Director roared.

"No I am human." Valeria countered with a smile. "People assume I have some super intelligence when the truth is I am a normal human who is not limited to only 10% of their brain. It's called evolution but I am not a mutant, just a simple woman ahead of her time."

"You won't get away with this, I swear somehow you will pay!" The Director shouted desperately as she yanked at the chains. "You cannot do this to me! You were the pawn! Not me! You are the only pawn here!"

"Ah but even pawns can become queens." Valeria smiled as she raised the chess piece over her counterpart, covering the woman with a shadow. "Check and Mate." Valeria laughed.

*THOOOOOOM!*

The Directors body shattered and her very mind was erased as Valeria slammed the chess piece onto the woman.

[You could use your mind to further advance all of mankind, to make inventions that could save lives without ever putting on a spandex outfit…you could impact society so well that thousands of years from now your name will be remembered with pride.]

A tear slid down her face as Spider-Man's voice rang out through the mindscape.

"Thank you for believing in me, father."

-With Death-

"The imbalance was fixed without my interference?" The Living Tribunal questioned in shock as he stood up effortlessly knocking Death over. "He was wrong?" The Living Tribunal asked again.

"It's what we were trying to tell you. Earth has proven itself to be extremely formidable. They solved the problem themselves and will grow stronger for it. The One Above All should appreciated that" Eternity said making The Living Tribunal frown as he turned to Zoe.

"There was a chance they would fail?" The Living Tribunal asked suddenly making Eternity nod.

"A large one. Success rate was nearly non-existent."

"Her faith never wavered even for a moment." The Living Tribunal muttered as he approached the stone form of Zoe and placed a hand on the side of her head. The stone casing shattered as Zoe began breathing heavily as she opened her eyes in shock.

"You saved me." Zoe said quietly. "Why?" Zoe asked incredibly confused.

"You interest me." The Living Tribunal said before frowning in confusion. "Why is that?" Tribunal asked making Zoe blink."With your last moments you gave Death life, resurrected those you felt deserved it, and…smiled. Why?"

"Well…why not?" Zoe asked as she tilted her head, acutely aware that the being was still holding her. "Not every action needs a complex reason, some are simple done out of love. Besides with great responsibility."

"Love?" The Living Tribunal questioned. He knew what it was, but he never felt it as strong as this woman before him seems to have. "And yes I have heard of that saying but you forget the rest. With great power comes great responsibility and little happiness."

"But also a satisfying life." Zoe added quietly making the entity stare down at her as if she had blown his mind.

"Are you seeing this?" Death asked to a stunned Eternity.

"I am still working on believing it."

The Living Tribunal brushed some of Zoe's hair away from her face as he stared down at the goddess who was looking at him with wide eyes.

"Teach me." Zoe fascinated him in a way he didn't understand. He was the Living Tribunal second only to The One Above All. He was older than the very universe yet somehow he felt as though the goddess in his hands had lived more than he had, he could tell she was young but what confused him was she didn't appear to be one of The One Above All's creations. "I want to learn what makes you do what you do. Teach me about life, love, and you."

"This isn't happening." Death thought incredulously she glanced over to Eternity who looked as though he were figuring out the universe's hardest math problem. A wide eyed Zoe swallowed slightly as she gazed up at the powerful entity that could destroy her in ways she couldn't even fathom.

"Okay." Zoe said meekly as her cheeks burned slightly. "It appears as though although you are not where you intended to be, you are where you need to be." Zoe said with a small laugh.

Life was funny like that.

Valeria dropped the cigarette and crushed it under her heel as her red eye dulled into a light gray.

"It's finally over." Valeria muttered making Sue glance towards Adriana whom nodded her head.

"Her counterpart's presence is gone." The Queen informed her as a small frown graced her lips as she turned to face the incredibly intelligent woman. "I will be honest; I am not sure how to feel about you. You may not have been her but the potential is still there."

"Please." Valeria scoffed as she placed a hand on her hip. "Do not insult my intelligence. That woman was nothing but a child. She saw that the world was gray but could not distinguish the various shades of gray that existed. I commend you two for showing up when you did I could have died." Valeria mused with a shrug and slight smirk. She raised an eyebrow when she saw her mother approach her hesitantly as if Sue was afraid she would disappear in any second. "Honestly mother, you look as though you have seen a ghost." Valeria drawled sounding amused.

*SMACK*

Valeria blinked in shock as her head whipped to the side from a vicious slap from her mother. She turned her head around only to find herself in a tight embrace by a trembling Sue.

"Don't you ever scare me like that again!" Sue shouted as her voice shook with equal parts sorrow and relief. Valeria held the sobbing woman with a slight frown as a small feeling of regret shot through her chest. "I…I thought I lost you..." Sue said weakly.

"I find your lack of faith disturbing." Valeria said softly as she rubbed the woman's back reassuringly. "Do not fear, I do not plan on leaving this planet even a second before my time comes and even then I will be doing my best to live. I must ask though, just how did you know to use Elise to distract her?" Valeria asked as she glanced back to see Elise standing next to the destroyed form of the Director.

"I know my children." Sue said so quietly that only Valeria could hear her, making said genius look down at her with slightly wider eyes. "Lucky guess." She said a little louder for the others to hear.

"I must ask, how did you plan on distracting her if we didn't show up?" The Queen questioned as the remaining heroes began to enter the scene. Valeria smirked as she turned to Kidpool.

"Elise, get next to your mother." Valeria said making the young girl look away from the destroyed woman before running next to her mother. "Kid." Kidpool grinned from beneath his mask as he pulled out a small black controller and pressed a red button.

*KABOOOOM!*

The ground shook slightly as the Director's body exploded in a crimson light sending metal flying in all directions.

"What?" Spider-Girl asked in shock.

-Flashback-

Kidpool chuckled as he ran the sword through the Director's back. Using her slight shock to his advantage, the young merc with a mouth slipped a small black disk-like object that had the Alchemax symbol on it into the opening he made.

-Flashback: End-

"It was insurance in case she healed her chest wound." Valeria said as the group looked at her with wide eyes. "However the gems made her too strong for it to do any real damage so they had to be removed first. Good job by the way." Valeria said with a nod to Alpha and Spider-Girl before glancing behind them and frowning when she saw an exhausted MJ stumble into the scene. "Mary Jane." Valeria called out getting the confused red-head's attention. Valeria said nothing as she jerked a thumb behind her where ethereal form of Nemesis arose from the shell. "Brace yourself." Valeria added as the entity blasted forward and slammed into the woman causing her to fall down as a crimson gem appeared on her forehead.

"Mom!" Spider-Girl shouted as she ran to her mother .

"It's alright May, just a little winded." MJ said weakly as her daughter helped her sit up.

"So how did it feel being on the side-lines for once?" Valeria questioned innocently to a gaping Team Amazing.

"Terrifying." Chun-Li muttered with an eye twitch as her heart finally began to settle down.

"Is this what we've been doing to people? Damn." Spider-Man questioned in shock as the battle against Death flashed though his mind along with every other fight they've been in. Spider-man winced as he thought about his ex-wife. Team Amazing realized they had a lot of apologies to give out later.

"You can feel bad at a later time; we're not done just yet." Valeria muttered confusing them before a loud rumbling was heard. Sure enough they turned around just in time to see the various forces of Mary Jane, Blackbolt, and Namorita enter the area and if that wasn't bad enough Valeria looked up to see the X-men arriving in their jet as a legion of vampire blurred into the area. Looking down Valeria frowned further as the scattered Ultronbots began to move once more only now they had seemed to have disguised themselves as humans for some reason.

Spider-Man looked up as he saw a spider-shaped ship float above the city before dozens of Spider-themes aliens descended upon the city. It didn't take a genius like him or Valeria to realize what was coming next.

"Looks like we ended this just in time." Valeria muttered. Tensions were high and wounds were too fresh. Inwardly she was proud that the species had honored their truce enough to not start murdering each other on sight. Everyone was on edge as Faiza, Logan, Lilith, Namorita, and Blackbolt approached them. Lilith looked particularly pissed as she carried an unmoving Jubilee in her arms making Talon gasp in shock.

"What the hell happened?" Talon demanded making Lilith turn to her as she laid the Queen down. Talon frowned when she saw the glowing cross burning on her chest.

"It appears she was sealed, it's extremely powerful magic too." Lilith stated making Talon's eyes narrow as she turned to the nearby Avengers. She gritted her teeth as she stared at the pained expression on Dr. Strange's face.

*Snickt*

"You-"

"Stop Talon." Valeria said calmly getting the feral's attention. "Do not be the one that draws first blood. It is a miracle bloodshed hasn't begun already. I do not know how long the humans can hold back their fear. We need to get this straightened out before one of them starts World War IV." Valeria said reasonable as it had become apparent that World War III had just ended. The feral glared and stepped back. "Do not be mistaken, it was his research that led to Jubilee's current state but it was my counterpart's actions that actually sealed her."

"So what now? Our Queen is as good as dead because she decided to work with you." Lilith said angrily.

"Do you know how many kids those sentinels killed?" Logan growled out.

"…" Blackbolt, much to Valeria's relief, remained silent but his rage was visible.

"My sword was thrown across the fucking city!" Faiza snapped as she held her blade protectively making MJ look at her incredulously. "Oh and nations were destroyed and stuff."

"My kingdom is in shambles!" Namorita shouted in rage.

"Even setting aside the fact my daughter was kidnapped, many of my people fell to those machines. At least let me remove them." It was then that one of the nearby AI's approached.

"Please, we knew not what we were doing. Until mother showed us the light." A woman pleaded that looked extremely similar to Robyn. Infact, narrowing his eyes, Spider-Man could tell that she was an exact replica!

"What the hell?" Spider-Man whispered.

"When mother gave herself up to give us life, I was the first to be embraced by her. I believed it was only fitting to take this form and lead the others as Robyn, with a y for peace, love, and understanding." The woman smiled.

"There's no y in-oh I see what you did there." Spider-Man muttered getting a wink from the robot.

"You're learning." Robyn smiled.

"The only thing I detest more than monkeys are puppets." The Queen muttered as she glared at the red-headed A.I

"Ah but what is Homo-Arachnida, if not puppets of the Web?" Robyn countered making the Queen grit her teeth.

"Why you insolent-"

"Enough!" Spider-Man interrupted Adriana and crossed his arms at the woman. "You and I both know that even if they did die, Zoe has resurrected most of the life lost in this struggle. I get you're pissed but drop it."

"But-"

"Adriana."

"*Sigh* As you wish." The Queen muttered petulantly and turned away from the man with a huff though inwardly she was proud he finally started acting like the ruler he was. Spider-Man saw an expression of confusion, sorrow, and maybe even hope shining in Blackbolt's eyes as the inhuman ruler stared at him perplexed.

"You have been out of the loop for a while let's just say one of my kids has a hero complex bigger than mine." Spider-Man chuckled. "Anyone you've lost is probably alive and well at the moment." Blackbolt glanced around and noticed that everyone with the exception of Namorita-who was as confused as he was- seemed to believe the web-head.

"My little sister is awesome!" Elise cheered as she hugged Spider-Man's waist.

"Ah look how big you've grown squirt." Spider-Man chuckled as he picked up his daughter making her giggle. May had to do a double take as she saw that Elise had doubled in size since she had last saw her.

"The hell have you been eating brat?" May asked in shock making Elise stick her tongue out at her. Valeria inwardly sighed as she realized that the Spiders and A.I's wouldn't attack unless provoked. Now she just needed to see about the rest.

"I guarantee you." Valeria began as she stared Namorita and Blackbolt. "With the exception of some property damage your people are alive and well. The only ones who have faced any losses are humanity. Even then, the ones who are still dead were scum. Do not be the ones who send them into another war." Valeria pleaded. There was a tense silence before slowly both rulers nodded their heads, but it was apparent that both wanted a change.

Valeria planned to arrange that.

She noticed Logan's shoulders slump in relief as he figured his students must have been okay; though it was obvious that there would be an increase in self-defense classes.

"That's fine and all but there are some fates worse than death." Lilith growled as she gestured towards the downed Jubilee. "She gave my life meaning again, she took us in, made us people again, and gave us a purpose and even a genuine choice. We can never repay her for what she's done and you expect us to ignore this!?"

"That's enough Lilith." Talon sighed sadly. "Do not attack."

"What?" Lilith asked in shock.

"I am Queen as well right?" Talon asked rhetorically making Lilith grit her teeth. "More important than that I know what Jubilee would want. Do not fight, there has been enough loss due to prejudice."

"I agree much was lost." Valeria said reassuringly. "Think about this Lilith. We have a better chance of helping Jubilee if we work together than leave you to your own devices with another war going. Your people will be separated again in no time."

"In case you forgot we're vampires." Lilith said with a derisive snort. "Do you honestly think anyone would help us?"

"Honestly speaking? Yes." Valeria drawled. "But I need you all to gather your people I have something I need to say."

"Valeria?" Sue asked with a frown.

"Trust me." Valeria said softly. Her mother held her stare before reluctantly nodding.

-1 hour later-

It took a while to convince their followers that they weren't going to be attacked while Valeria stood at the top of a rundown building. It was not the best stage in the world but it gave her an aerial view of her 'Audience'. In front of the building was a large metal pole and in front of that was an extremely large worn out American flag that had tattered edges.

"They're as ready as they can get." Reed said as he approached his daughter whom nodded at him. He had just finished making some make-shift speakers with Tony and handed Valeria a microphone

"Thank you."

"I'm not sure if you care but…I 'm proud of you." Reed said with a weak smile making his daughter give him a genuine one in response.

"That means a lot coming from you, it really does." Valeria said before turning to the crowd.

"Species from across the globe at first you were banded together to face war, and now it's time to discuss peace." Valeria raised a hand to silence the outrage. "But to even think about peace we must first address the elephant in the room which is fear. Humanity you fear the other species and they fear your fear." Valeria began now having their undivided attention. "A fearful human is a dangerous one, but my question for you all is why?"

You could have heard a pin drop.

"Humanity, since we've first been able to stand on two legs we have done nothing but overcome. Constantly we do nothing but overcome which was previously thought to be impossible from first sailing around the world to taking to the stars. Boundary after boundary, year after year we become a greater and greater people as our offspring learn from our successes and mistakes." Valeria said as her voice began to rise. "We are the single oldest species present right now, and the reason we are still around is because we have a legacy, our children carry on our legacy but they are not the only ones who will do so!"

BGM: Human Legacy- Ivan Torrent

Now everyone was confused.

"Homo mermanus." Valeria said as her gaze shifted to the Atlanteans. "Since the day man first began inhabiting the sea, you have carried on the human legacy that anything is possible! For instead of drowning you thrived. You made it your own and grew stronger from it. Do not think cooperating with surface dwellers is impossible for your very existence proves is that nothing is impossible. Your population grows by the year, eventually you will need to expand and to do so requires cooperation not bloodshed."

A few Atlanteans and humans could be seen glancing at each other.

"Homo superior." Valeria continued turning to the mutants. "You are the next step in evolution. More and more humans will mutate as time moves forward. You all carry the legacy mankind can adapt to any situation! As more powerful threats arise more and more of you are born with even greater power than ever thought possible." Valeria then focused her gaze onto her brother who was staring back at her with his jaw dropped slightly. "You are the next step; you have protected us from many threats already. Humanity we should not reject them, we must embrace them, love them, because we need them…" A small smirk graced her lips as she stared at her brother. "No matter how prideful we are to admit it."

Franklin actually felt his heart moved by his sister's words.

"Homo Nus Nocturnes, even you carry on our legacy." Valeria said confusing them greatly. "You are living proof that not only can we be redeemed but that we are survivors. That we are cunning, intelligent, beautiful." Valeria said getting some smirks from the Sirens. "At the end of the day you need us to live but we do not have to kill each other for that to happen, just use your minds and we can peacefully work something out. You were all human at one point in time; do not forget your roots." Valeria advised.

A few vampires looked down at that, even Lilith who had lost her humanity in her thirst for revenge against her father.

"Homo arachnida, you carry on the legacy of our innate wisdom. In fact, the previously human members of your species are all created by acts of humanity attempting the impossible to advance forward. You are the very definition of flawed genius, abstract art, beauty created by mistake." Valeria smiled. "More importantly you are protectors and a constant reminder that is more to us than meets the eye and also creatures of love not this perverse hate that seems to make up our society."

"Double her allowance." Spider-Man stage-whispered to Sue getting a smack upside the head from the woman though she couldn't hide the pride on her face as she looked at her daughter.

"Inhumans…you did not trust us and seeing how we act you were right to do so but do not fool yourselves into thinking you are better." Valeria said firmly. "You may not be human but your heart and minds are. You are susceptible to the same mistakes we are I have seen your king express the same emotions we all have even though he cannot speak. With your homeland crushed you are going to have to depend on us for a bit. You were experimented on and separated from the rest of our species when we were young but you are still here. Why? Because you carry on our legacy to overcome."

Blackbolt closed his eyes as he reflected on her words.

"Finally Homo factitious." Valeria said as she faced Robyn and the AI's behind her. "Of all the non-human species here, you are the closest to our children. You embody our intelligence, our ability to overcome, our redemption, our ability to do the impossible, our ability to adapt and our wisdom. The reason you are standing here is because we did the impossible. We created artificial life that could genuinely love. Look at them." Valeria ordered the humans. "They are the newest when it comes to life but also extremely powerful. They made a mistake and followed unethical orders because they were programmed to. What excuse does the free-will having members of humanity have? Both of our species are in dire need of redemption. They are young but they are powerful, we must be the ones to teach them how to live for with great power comes great responsibility."

Spider-Man was beaming from behind his mask.

Then Valeria did something shocking, she pulled out a small blade from her pocket and slit the palm of her hand before leaping off of the building and landing in front of the tattered flag, silently thanking how strong her body was. She raised her blood-stained hand and gazed at the crowd.

"Red. The color of blood, passion, and revolution." Valeria began as she closed her bleeding fist. "We've come far in the past few millennia. As a planet we have stumbled, we have fallen, but we pushed forward. We are one of the least advanced civilizations in universe yet we have never lost when alien life threatened us. Why? Because we have heart. It's time to take the next step as a planet and show this universe what makes Earth so damned special! I will do my best to make sure that this planet will always be safe for its inhabitants. Of this I solemnly swear." Valeria said as she placed her hand on a white stripe of the flag leaving behind a red hand print when she pulled away.

It was silent for a moment before Spider-Man walked forward and pulled off his glove.

"I swear." Spider-Man said as he pulled of his gloves before biting his left thumb and covering his right hand in blood before placing his hand print next to Valeria getting a smile from her.

"I swear." Talon said as she released her talons making Chun-Li and Magik shrug.

"Ah what the hell." Chun-Li chuckled and soon members from the other species began following suit. The AI's frowned slightly as they stared at their hands. Robyn blinked in confusion when she saw someone holding her hand and looked up to see a smiling Valeria. Robyn's eyes widened when she saw her hand covered in blood.

"You know what to do." Valeria smiled as Robyn grinned and placed her hand on the flag as well as more and more humans found them grabbing an AI's hand and dragging them to the flag.

-With Chun-Li-

"[What the hell happened!?]" Chun-Li blinked as she turned to face a gaping Ryu. ["I was on my way to a tournament in Shang-hai when my plane was shot down! I have been fighting my way back here for months. Then I see Sakura fighting in the sky-Chun-Li what the hell is going on!?"] Chun-Li rubbed her chin as she thought about it before snapping her fingers in realization.

"[It's Monday.]" Chun-Li said as if that explained everything making Ryu's eye twitch. The rest of team Amazing approached her and was about to greet Ryu, when a surge of killing intent got their attention. They saw that the source was coming from behind Ryu and widened their eyes once they saw Sakura had once again turned into Evil Sakura.

"[Sakura…]" Ryu said with a concerned frowned as he found himself instinctively sliding into a fighting stance.

"[Ryu…]" Sakura stated as she too slid into a fighting stance. The air was tense as the two fighters gazed at each other while their head bands blew in the wind. Ryu felt a slight chill as her gaze hardened. All of team Amazing flinched when she suddenly shot forward, no doubt to end the fighter's life with her battle lust. Ryu went to deliver a powerful roundhouse kick only for Sakura to duck under the attack.

Then it happened.

"[RYU!]" The Evil Sakura squealed joyously as she performed a flying glomp and tacked the fighter to the ground, hugging him so tightly he thought his ribs were cracking. Chun-Li face faulted at the sight and team Amazing gaped at their martial artist.

"That looked fucking painful." Magik muttered as she looked at Chun-Li

"No way." Talon muttered at the downed fighter.

"She did it…she finally did it…" Spider-Man said as he looked at Chun-Li's reaction.

"Don't say a single word." Chun-Li muttered as she held her bloody nose. Looks like her anime-like reactions still happened in their world, something she was doing her best to hide, knowing she'd never hear the end of it. "Damn, that's never this painful back in my universe."

"Was that everyone? Good." They heard Valeria say and soon they saw her pulling a rope on the large pole which began raising the American flag…though it didn't appear to look like one at all anymore. Instead of the red, white, and blue symbol of the country it was a large heavily damaged dripping red piece of fabric. A strong gust a wing made the crimson cloth blow to the side dramatically. It looked like a simple flag being only one color but at the same time it held far much more meaning than anyone could ever hope for.

It was the symbol of a revolution.

"Well this Monday was one of the weirdest yet." Chun-Li mused.

"Question though, technically this has been going on for a while. Far longer than this Monday, so does that mean this war like took place of what could have happened to day or does it mean that the disaster that was scheduled for today is still going on?" Magik questioned curiously making team Amazing freeze.

Soon a loud sound could be heard and everyone looked up to see a large space armada flying above the city. It wasn't long before a large holographic image of a very familiar purple tyrant appeared over the city.

["Hello earthlings. I will ask only once. Hand over the infinity gems!"] Thanos demanded.

"God Damn it Magik!" Team Amazing shouted at their new member making the blonde flinch back.

BGM: Hero- Jessie J

"You're no longer allowed to speak." Her mistress ordered making the blonde turn to her in shock.

"I didn't know!" The blonde shouted back in her mind as everyone one looked up at the space fleet incredulously.

"So that's where the Infinity event went!" Deadpool said in realization.

"Well what the hell are you all standing around for!? Show that imbecile what we can do together!" Valeria shouted making the gather individuals blink as the flag continued to blow behind her. The Earthlings all yelled as they began to run forward.

"Cap, Call it!" Spider-Man shouted as Captain America's shield appeared in his hands as he threw it to the leader of the Avengers as MJ ran forward with Gwen, Carol and Team Amazing right behind her. The holographic image of Thanos reflected on Captain America's shield as he caught it with a grin. Spider-Man may not have been an Avenger but he still enjoyed the battle cry.

"Avenger's Assemble!"

Nearby Valeria smiled as she looked into the locket that was around her counterpart's neck. There was a small picture of her and another woman that looked extremely similar to Adriana smiling and holding each other. On the opposite side the word's "Do it for her" were engraved into the gold.

*click*

Valeria closed the locket as she glanced back a frightened Elise who was hugging her mother.

"Go, I'll keep her safe. They need you." Adriana looked at her closely for a moment before nodding.

-Nearby-

Stan frowned as a smirking Rebuff stood next to him.

"Impossible they are advancing too quickly." Stan muttered. "Still I am impressed that they somehow held back Tribunal, but they are too weak to face Thanos' forces."

"You underestimate them." Rebuff said knowingly. "Even if Earth's forces are too weak, Team Amazing can handle anything thing you throw at them. Those three, Spider-Man, Talon, and Chun-Li cannot be stopped. Face it old man, they are out of your control and soon the rest of this universe will be as well."

"YOU DARE!" Stan boomed but rebuff's smirk never left as she regained his composure. "What are you after?"

"At first I wanted to simply make Spider-Man strong enough to help me…but then I broke my main rule and got emotionally invested in his team." Rebuff mused as explosions rung through the city. "They are like three birds living in a cage, but as you will soon find out a bird will eventually be able to break out of its cage if it tries hard enough."

"Never." Stan swore.

"It's time you set your imagination free Jack. Even you have to move on sometime." Rebuff drawled as she looked up to see a few of the ships exploding as Talon crashed through them thanks to a mighty throw from Spider-Man while the Avengers dealt with some of the ground forces.

-With The Queen-

The still exhausted Queen frowned when the Alien force threw what looked like grenades at her but before they could explode she found herself being protected by a barrier.

"You alright?" Sue questioned in concerned making the Queen blink in shock for a moment before slowly smiling as her eyes were replaced by golden flames.

"Yes, watch my back I am not at my full power at the moment."

"No problem."

-With Captain Marvel-

The woman frowned when she found herself surrounded by large robots but before she could attack a black blur sped by and sliced them all in half effortlessly.

"Need help?" Gwen asked awkwardly, still new to the whole fighting an alien threat thing making Carol smirk.

"Just keep up newbie."

-With Blackbolt-

The Inhuman king glared up at a large robot but before he could attack Faiza landed in front of him and spun around to face him wither sword raised.

"EXCALIBUR!" Faiza roared a golden wave of energy released from her sword and destroyed a small group of aliens that were sneaking up on Blackbolt. "Let's have some fun shall we?" Faiza asked making Blackbolt smile.

-With Lilith-

She and Namorita were back to back as they fought off wave after wave of invaders. They looked up when they heard explosions and saw Robyn flying above them providing aerial support. The A.I. stopped and waved at them with a smile making them shake their heads before smirking.

-With the Cannon Fodder-

"You know last time were in this predicament you never answered my question about sparkling." Dave pointed out to a female vampire who blinked at him owlishly.

"You're an interesting mortal." The Vampire finally said making him smirk.

"I am to please my lovely creature of the night."

"Damn it Dave! Quit trying to pick up the vampires!" A nearby woman shouted angrily.

-With Thanos-

["Sir, we're being pushed back-*CRASH* Who are you!?"]

["I know exactly what to do with you."] Talon growled. Thanos frowned as his connection to one of his most loyal generals, Proxima Midnight, was cut off.

*BOOOOOM*

The Ship shook as he turned around only to come face to face with Chun-Li, Spider-Man, and MJ. Glancing back he saw that his troops were being pushed back a little too fast for his liking. In fact, it looked pretty one-sided as the combined forces of Earth held nothing back. Spider-Man cracked his knuckles.

"You're about to wish Squirrel Girl was here." Spider-Man chuckled.

"Who said I wasn't?" Squirrel said from behind them making them blink in shock. "I was the one holding them back while Earth was dealing with Ultron! It was a magnificent tale of love, betrayal, and acorns! By the way you should know by now that holding cell won't keep me in forever." Squirrel drawled as she gazed at Thanos, her arch nemesis.

"You…" Thanos glared Team amazing and MJ completely forgotten in his rage.

"Wow. You really weren't kidding." Chun-Li said in shock how the hell anyone apparently as OP and badass as Thanos was defeated by Squirrel Girl she'd never know.

"You've done enough damage! Your tyranny ends today!" Squirrel Girl declared at they both charged each other.

"Well I'll be damned." MJ stated awkwardly.

No one knows what happened after that. Those there to watch the spectacle were sworn to secrecy. It was a bittersweet victory because in the end Thanos fell to Squirrel Girl but somehow managed to escape once again.

Though Thanks to Earth's mightiest inhabitants only Thanos escaped.

-DC Universe: Watchtower-

"I'm begging you Bruce; call off the interview with Lois." Superman said to Batman who turned to him impassively as his body was wrapped in his cape.

"Why should I? She wanted to interview Bruce Wayne and talk about his connection with Batman, if I refuse that will look suspicious." Batman said matter-of-factly.

"We both know that's crap Bruce, you're just trying to get even with me!"

"No idea what you're talking about." Batman said simply making Superman face-palm.

"You know Lois and I have a…complicated relationship…and we both know you're just going to end up sleeping with her." Superman said as he narrowed his eyes.

"What happens post interview is up to fate, I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. I mean what could she see in a handsome, genius, billionaire who appears to have a soft heart thanks to him adopting children." Batman asked rhetorically making Superman's eyes narrow further. "Besides complicated relationships didn't stop a certain boy scout from dating Diana."

"And there it is! She ended up choosing you didn't she and that's knowing that you were still going out with Catwoman. You can't really hold a grudge this long can you?" Supes asked in disbelief.

"You obviously don't know me." Batman stated simply. Seriously the entire Batman persona came from a grudge. "Now if you excuse me I have to rent a hotel room in metropolis for my interview tomorrow. I'll need you to stay here to make sure the new recruits don't get themselves killed." Superman closed his eyes and rubbed his temples in frustration. When he opened them he was about to tell Batman off only to see that the other hero had disappeared.

"How the hell did he do that? We're in a hallway in space!"

"Because I'm Batman." Batman's voice echoed throughout the hallway as the hero searched around frantically trying to find Batman with his x-ray vision only to fail.

-Later: Metropolis Park-

"Well its official, I'm out of tantric energy. Not going to lie, Lady Death and Ariel got me far" Spider-Man muttered as he stepped into a park. "Now I need to find a way to get more so I can use my teleportation." The amount he was going to need was staggering; he was at least going to need enough for ten teleportations. As Spider-Man pondered this, he heard Sirens in the distance and released a sigh. "Well I don't need tantric energy to stop this."

-Elsewhere-

Lois was sure that she hated her life. Only she could somehow find herself being kidnapped by the Joker…in METROPOLIS! She didn't know why the insane clown was there, she was walking home when she accidentally stumbled across him talking to his goons and now she found herself bound and gagged in the trunk of a pick-up truck that he had obviously stolen.

BGM: Deshi Basara- Batman Rises soundtrack

"Boss, what happens if big blue finds us!?" One of the Joker's henchmen asked in alarm making him sigh, things were much easier back when Harley worked for him but she up and left leaving him with these idiots.

"That's why we stole the kryptonite, should the Boy Scout come we have more than enough to take care of him." The Joker said as he tried to lose the cops in the traffic.

*VROOOOOOOOM*

"Boss we're being followed!"

"Then get the kryptonite ready you idiot!" The Joker shouted looking in credibly pissed even with his permanent smile.

"It's not Supes sir! It's the Bat!" The henchman explained making the Joker blink and look at his rear-view mirror and sure enough the bat-mobile was speeding towards them.

"Well this night just got a lot more interesting boys! Shoot him down! Grab the wheel." Joker said as his henchman grabbed the wheel while he leaned out of the window and began shooting at Batman along with the three clowns that were in the trunk with Lois whom began to fire their assault rifles. Hope filled Lois' eyes as she saw the Dark Knight.

-Bat-mobile-

"If I grow too dependent on the ring, it'll only be trouble later. I can handle this myself." Batman thought as he prepared to activate one of the vehicles gadgets when suddenly something appeared in his mirror making him blink owlishly behind his mask. "What the hell…"

BGM: Spider-Man's theme- Marvel vs. Capcom OST

"Look out, here comes the Spider-Man!" Spidey shouted as he web-slung through the city.

"Its official, I've lost my damn mind." Lois thought as she stared at Spider-Man swinging towards her.

"He exists?" One of the henchmen muttered incredulously.

"He EXISTS!?" The Joker shouted in disbelief.

"Didn't your parents ever tell you not to steal beautiful women?" Spider-Man asked as he swung in front of the bat–mobile and released his web-line.

"Take that idiot out!" Joker shouted as they began to fire at the web-head. When they weren't his, Joker hated surprises.

"Oh no a gun, my one weakness!" Spider-Man shouted as he fell towards them before time slowed down in his eyes as he effortless dodged the bullets before landing in the trunk. Spider-Man quickly flicked two of the goons on their foreheads, knocking them out instantly, before grabbing the last one and tossing him out of the trunk before webbing him to the wall of a building. "You look like you've had better days." Spider-Man joked as he turned to face Lois.

"I can't believe this." Lois had seen many things in her life as a reporter, but this was definitely up there. When she was younger she was guilty of reading the occasional Spider-Man comic but she never thought she'd actually see him, even when her planet's own Super heroes began to rise.

"Get ready." Spider-Man said before firing his web in front of the vehicles and creating a large net of webbing at the end of the street. Grabbing Lois bridal style, the hero leapt back out of the truck and landed safely on the sidewalk next to some pedestrians that had recorded the entire thing. "3...2…1…" Spider-Man counted before the truck slammed into the net. "Ahhh…I love it when a plan comes together." Spider-Man said with his best Hannibal impression before freeing Lois from her bindings. Now that he managed to get a good look at her face he froze.

"I…I honestly don't know what to say…t-thank you." Lois managed to get out as she was still trying to get her mind around the fact that she was saved by Spider-Man.

"Lois? Don't tell me I'm actually in the DC Universe!" Spider-Man thought as he stared at the reporter. Spider-Man was a complete and utter nerd long before he became a hero. To put it bluntly he had a crush on the woman since he was five. "Wait then that speeding black car…" Spider-Man trailed off as he looked up to see the dazed Joker being man-handled by Batman. Once the clown was knocked out, the caped crusader wasted no time in approaching the two. "Well I'll be damned, it's Batman."

"Who are you?" The Dark Knight growled out as he released his bat glare upon the hero.

"Just your friendly dimension hopping, Spider-Man." Spider-Man chuckled. Batman glared down at him for a few moments before shaking his head.

"The sad thing is; I am pretty sure you're being serious right now." Batman muttered. He had seen a lot of strange things in his life and after the past few months he's had he really wasn't surprised. "I need to get the Joker back to Arkham. I'll leave the other goons to this city's police." Batman began before pulling a phone from his belt and throwing at the hero who easily caught it. "I'll be in touch soon, until then stay out of trouble so we can figure out what's going on here." Spider-Man looked down at the phone before looking up to see that Batman and the Joker were gone.

Hell even the Bat-mobile was gone

"How the hell…"

"Because he's Batman." Lois answered his unfinished question with a shrug.

"Well Ms. Lane, it was a pleasure to meet you though I wished it was not in a hostage situation." Spider-Man said sheepishly making her look at him in confusion.

"And you know my name how?"

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you." Spider-Man deadpanned making her cross her arms and quirk an eyebrow at him.

"Try me."

"Well…where I'm from…this world is kind of a series of comic books." Spider-Man stated as he waited for her to voice her disbelief. Instead the woman rubbed the bridge of her nose as the world suddenly seemed to make a lot more sense to her.

"Oh…that explains…so much." Lois muttered as the random Armageddons finally made sense.

"What?" Spider-Man asked perplexed.

"Well…it's the other way around here. Pretty sure everyone here knows all about you…" Lois trailed off before deciding to test her theory. "Mr. Parker." Lois finished making Spider-Man's jaw drop behind his mask before he fell to his knees.

"My God my life is a comic…." Spider-Man trailed off as a terrible thought entered his mind as he finally realized how Chun-Li must have felt. "Wade was right…dear God Wade was right! We didn't listen!" Spider-Man shouted in agony. "WE DIDN'T LISTEN!" Lois stood there awkwardly for a moment as she placed a hand on his shoulder.

"There…there…" Lois tried to console the hysteric hero. "It doesn't really matter does it? I mean as long as it's real to you right?" Spider-Man stopped his despair and looked at her.

"You're an angel." Spider-Man said seriously making her laugh slightly.

"Just stating facts, Queens." Lois said as she referred to where he lived.

"Well now that you're safe, let's get you back home." Spider-Man said as he wrapped an arm around her and swung off.

-Lois Lane's apartment-

"That was amazing." Lois said with a smile when they finally reached where she lived. Sure Supes had taken her flying before but there was no sense of danger. The death defying maneuvers Spider-Man pulled off were a real thrill to say the least.

"Aw shucks, I try." Spider-Man said with a laugh as he began to walk away.

"Wait!"

"Hmm?" Spider-Man turned around to see Lois walking towards him. She would never have a chance like this again.

"May I get an interview? I can guarantee that the videos people took of you have gone viral by now." Lois said making Spidey scratched the side of his head.

"Sure, tomorrow though I think Bats might need to get some things straight with me before the day is over." Spider-Man said making her nod.

"Alright see you tomorrow."

-1 hour later-

"And that's why I'm here. I was training this new power and now I'm stranded here." Spider-Man finished his tale.

"Until you have intercourse again that is." Batman pointed out making Spider-Man nod. "You may need to hurry then, there's no telling what consequences your absence brings to your world."

"It's not that urgent seeing how I can go back to the exact moment I left." Spider-Man said with a shrug. "But you're right I do need to get my strength back soon."

"Tell me about this…Rebuff" Batman said suddenly. "Does she have any physical features that stand out to you?"

"Not really-well she does have white hair but that could be dyed. Why?"

"There was a young man that approached that actually fits her description. He showed up and my life went into complete chaos before settling down giving me far more strength that I had ever hoped of having." Batman stated. "My guess is that these individuals are going from world to world making certain heroes realize their true potential."

"But why?"

"That's what you have to find out." Batman stated making Spider-Man close his eyes beneath his mask as he released a long breath. When he opened them the Dark Knight was gone.

"Son of a-"

-The next morning-

BGM: Golden Rule-The lonely Island Ft Justin Timberlake and Lady GaGa

Luckily Batman took pity on the poor web-head and let the other hero room with him in his hotel room. Both heroes woke up that morning with one goal on their mind.

Lois.

"Figure out how you are going to get your energy?" Bruce asked as he fixed his tie as Spider-Man's masked appeared over his face.

"I have an interview with a reporter later who is interested in why I am here." Spider-Man began. "If I play my cards right I might be able to pull it off. I'm not the kind of person who actively tries to get one night stands but this is an emergency. Where are you off to?"

"I have an interview as well with a nice woman."

"Oh looks like the rumors about Batman and Robin were wrong." Spider-Man chuckled getting a glare from Batman.

"Here." Bruce said as he handed the hero a few hundred dollars. "Get her something nice and keep your mouth shut, I want you out of this world as soon as possible."

"Will do." Spider-Man said as he went to the window while Bruce went to the door.

"I'll get in touch with you in 2-6 hours." Bruce said getting a nod from the hero.

-Later-

Bruce cruised through the city in the back of his limo as he thought about how the interview with Lois would go. Glancing out of the window he smirked to himself as he saw Spider-Man swinging through the city. The younger hero had a good heart, he could tell that much and hoped that he could find his way home.

-With Spider-Man-

"This is a nice city, reminds me of home." Spidey said as he swung through the city with a bottle of wine in his hand and some flowers tucked under his arm. "I have a bad feeling for some reason." Spider-man muttered as he saw Lois' apartment building in the distance.

-Lois's apartment-

Spider-Man knocked on her door once he made it and hummed to himself as he waited.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Bruce asked angrily as he approached the hero who looked back at him in confusion.

"I could ask you the same thing!" Spider-Man said back irritated before he paled under his mask. "Oh no don't tell me we're both being interviewed by Lois."

"Leave!" Bruce said as he gave the hero his best glare.

"Hell no!" Spider-Man said as his mask peeled back revealing his eyes to be replaced by golden flames. "No telling when I can get another chance to get my energy. You're Bruce Wayne, all you have to do is step outside and shout your name to get laid."

*Click*

Spider-Man and Bruce quickly schooled there expression to see a sheepish Lois at the door.

"I'm so sorry, I completely forgot about our interview Bruce." Lois said apologetically. "It's my fault and I'll take full responsibility, would either of you mind if I just interviewed you both?"

"Of course not, we all make mistakes it'll be an honor." Bruce said with a charming smile.

"Just talking to you is a dream come true for me, of course you can interview me." Spider-Man said with a smile.

"You both just saved me, thank you." Lois said as she went back in the apartment.

"Best man wins." Spider-Man said as he held out his hand.

"Agreed." Bruce said as he shook the man's hand. Lightning seemed to spark between their eyes as they went into the room.

-Two hours later-

"Wow both of your lives are far more exciting than mind, I wish I could have went to half of the places you two have." Lois said with a smile as Bruce leaned forward and grabbed her hands before staring up into her eyes with his cold blue eyes.

"Maybe I can take you with me; money is no problem for me. I can make all of your dreams come true." Bruce said with a smile. "Would you like the planet? The Daily Planet that is, I can buy it for you since you love your job so much." Bruce said making the woman blush and avert her eyes.

"T-that won't be necessary." Lois stuttered slightly making Bruce smirk at a glaring Spider-Man.

"That bastard he knows I'm cut off from my Alchemax money. Fine two can play at this game." Spider-Man thought before smirking back at the man who frowned in confusion. "Ouch!"

"Are you oaky?" Lois asked as she released the billionaire's hands.

"Sorry just some old battle wounds, it's nothing." Spider-Man said with a pained smile as he held his side.

"That doesn't sound like nothing." Lois said with a frown. She had quickly learned that Spider-Man sacrificed too much for others and was driven solely by guilt that made the man look far stronger in her eyes. "Shirt off Queens we'll see if I have anything that can help you."

"He didn't…" Bruce though as he stared at the other hero in shock, Spider-Man gave him a knowing glance as he pulled off his top revealing his ripped and battle scarred body.

"I-I thought you had a healing factor." Lois managed to get out as she took in his toned body, her cheeks reddening slightly.

"I do but I'm not Wolverine, some wounds are just too deep to heal." Spider-Man said as he gave her a weak. "Not all of them are physical.

"That bastard pulled the tragic hero card." Bruce thought in disbelief. "He knows I can't reveal my identity."

"I might have some medicine that can take the pain away give em a moment." Lois said as she left the room.

"That was a low move." Bruce stated getting a snort from Spider-Man.

"Says the man who'd give her the planet." Spider-Man snorted. "Listen nothing is going to happen for either one of us if we keep going after each other. This is a strong and wonderful woman, we need to work together."

"You can't be serious." Bruce said with a look of disgust.

"It's the golden rule." Spider-Man whispered back harshly. "No physical or eye contact at all." Spider-Man said as he held out his hand. Bruce looked at it for a moment before reluctantly accepting it. He had tried his best lines and got nowhere, Spider-Man's presence wasn't helping at all either. "Hold nothing back, this interview is almost over that means we have ten minutes to pull this off."

"Impossible." Bruce muttered maybe if he had prep he could pull it off but this was a random event.

"You need to learn to never give up. Just take a leap of faith and put everything in it." Spider-Man said as Lois could be heard leaving her bathroom. Lois approached Spider-Man with a bottle in her hand.

"Here I found some Advil-"Lois was cut off as Spider-Man approached her and placed hand on the wall behind her gazed down at her.

"You know this interview is almost over, yet you haven't told us a thing about yourself." Spider-Man said with a smirk. "I for one have been interested in you for a while so how about we get to know each other better."

"I agree." Bruce said as he loosened his tie and approached them. "I want to know what makes such beautiful woman like yourself tick." Bruce said as he mirrored Spider-Man's actions and placed a hand on the wall behind the womans head. Lois swallowed nervously as she looked up at both men.

"W-what. But the interview is almost over."

"I'm offended." Bruce said looking slightly hurt as Spider-Man nodded his head.

"Didn't you say you would take full responsibility?" Spider-Man asked innocently.

"A-alright. How bout we open that wine and get comfortable, it's not much to tell about my life really." Lois said as she ducked under the hands and nervously approached where they were sitting earlier as the heroes followed her. Spider-Man and Bruce quickly bumped each other's' fists as they followed behind her.

BGM: END

-Hours later: Watchtower-

"Diana can you please explain to me what you saw in Bruce?" Superman asked Wonder Woman desperately. "I thought you of all people would detest him for having more than one lover."

"You would think so." Diana said as she looked at her friend. "But the only reason he's even doing it is because a regular relationship is impossible for him. He never made any promises and even told me that he wasn't going to stop seeing Selena when I revealed my feelings. Something about that gave me a feeling of freedom. I could be with him and also have the luxury to come and go as I pleased though I'll admit I haven't found another man I find suitable. Our break up was peaceful Clark, why are you asking me this now?"

"Let's just say I'm afraid for a close…friend…of mine." Superman said ominously.

"Bruce has his sights on someone you care for doesn't he?" Diana asked with a raised eyebrow. "That man sure can hold a grudge. Well if I were you I'd hurry and beat him to it."

"You're right. Thank you Diana. I will talk to her first thing in the morning." Superman said as he flew down the hall leaving the amazon alone.

"Men." Diana muttered as she shook her head.

-The next morning: Metropolis-

Superman flew above the city and using his super sight he quickly zeroed in on Lois' apartment. However before he could fly down there he heard the door to the balcony open.

BGM: I Just Had Sex- Lonely island ft. Akon

Superman looked on in confusion as an exhausted Spider-Man stepped out onto the balcony with nothing but his costume pants on. He yawned and stretched for a moment before taking a deep breath.

"WOOOHOOO!" Spider-Man shouted as he fist pumped with a grin.

"Shut up you idiot." Another very familiar voice muttered and Superman looked on in disbelief as Bruce walked out onto the balcony looking tired in nothing but his boxers. "It's too early to wake up at this God awful hour."

"Its 10:30!" Spidey said in shock.

"God awful for the wealthy." Bruce amended. Spider-Man and Bruce suddenly began chuckling before Spider-Man raised his hand. "No." Bruce said impassively

"Come on…" Spider-Man urged the man who rolled his eyes before giving the hero a high-five.

"*Yawn* What are you two up to?" Lois asked sleepily as she limped out onto the balcony.

"Nothing at all; go rest." Spider-Man said as he placed an arm around her. "Go back to sleep, I'll cook some breakfast then Bruce can give me some money to repaint your ceiling."

"Mhmm." Lois said drowsily as she went back into the apartment she stopped suddenly before giving Bruce a once over. "Lot of scars for a rich boy with nothing to do with Batman." The reporter said with a tone that obviously said she knew more than Batman thought. Before Bruce could say anything she shrugged. "Not my problem." Lois said leaving a gaping Bruce behind shaking his head with a sigh he turned to Spider-Man.

"So did you get the energy?" Bruce asked with a frown.

"A little but It's too risky to leave with just this much, I'll be able to teleport once. What if the next place I go is a wasteland? I'll be screwed." Spider-Man pointed out. "I'll stay here for a few months until I'm back to full power." Spider-Man said before handing the billionaire what looked like a gold rope.

"What's this?"

"I'm trying to make allies with the worlds I leave. Ever need a hand that will let bring me here in an instant. I'm going to give Lois one too when her ability to think straight comes back." Spider-Man informed the hero who nodded. Suddenly both of them frown before glancing up to see a stunned Superman. Smirking, both of them gave the man a thumbs up before going back to the apartment.

What followed would be an interesting few months for Lois Lane and her heroes. She didn't know why but suddenly her life felt like it was a game.

John Doe: if I could continue forever I would, but it's important to end while things are at its peak rather than continue on and ruin a good story.
