Here's the next one shot and it's Constantine's first day of school but he is very anxious about it but he has Hector to help him plus he might make a friend since there are other kids like him.

Plus he is very smart, he already knows how to read compared to his peers since he loves books plus his bond with Hector is very strong to the point where the two of them secretly converse which is adorable.

"Look Hector, there's a story in here about a turtle and a hare!" little Constantine said that night as a whole week had gone by meaning tomorrow was the little amphibian thief in training's first day of kindergarten.

His father and sister had been helping him get ready but he was feeling scared, since he didn't hang around with other kids his age but it would be okay.

But right now, he could have fun with Hector and read since he loved books plus already knew how to read and loved stories about thieves and fairytales plus had a library card.

He just hoped things would be okay getting sleepy lying down.

"I'n scared about school, Hector." Constantine said.

"How come?" Hector said making the amphibian youngster smile.

Hector could talk, just like Constantine but hid it so they had secret conversations plus Hector was a kid too so it was fun.

"Because kindergarten is different, plus you know I get shy around other kids." Constantine told him makimg the turtle youngster understand.

"So you're shy, it's okay.

Besides I know you're nice, because you take good care of me, you feed me and read intresting things plus we go everywhere." Hector said yawning.

"You're right, but we should sleep, but it's okay." Constantine said as he turned off the light feelijg his turtle cuddle him.

That next morning, Constantine giggled as Hector was waking him up but the amphibian youngster giggled stretching but putting on his trademark hooded cloak but was telling Hector about the dream he had hearing his father call him for breakfast.

"Come on, we need to eat to get enat ergy as the adults say but maybe school might not be so bad." Constantine said as he ran downstairs, cape flying behind him as Magnus chuckled at that seeing Constantine pouting gruel into Hector's bowl.

He knew they were very close, so knew that his son was anxious but didn't blame him, Toph had told him about enrolling Constantine in school.

"You ready, for school?" Magnus asked.

"I guess Papa, maybe..." Constantine said softly.

After eating breakfast, Condtantine was in his room getting ready but saw Hector crawling into the amphibian youngster's backpack making him understand.

"We go everywhere and you might need me, in case." Hector said.

"Okay, but we can't let the other kids see, okay?" Constantine told him.

"There's no way I'm gonna leave you, you know that?" Hector said from in his shell as Constantine smiled a little putting his backpack on but being careful.

Magnus and Toph were taking him but he was anxious in the car making Toph understand as they were getting out seeing other kids human and animal running around, playing which made Constantine a little relieved but still anxious.

He was entering his classroom after saying goodbye to his father and Toph but it was colourful and inviting with drawings on the walls plus books and toys everywhere which made the little amphibian male relax.

"Wow, this place looks good, maybe you'll be okay." Hector whispered from his backpack.

"I don't know, there's still the other kids to deal with but Toph says I have charm, whatever that means." Constantine replied.

He was unaware a girl his age in a black furred coat with black hair was watching but approached, as she was curious.

"Hi, I'm Nadya, you're the new kid right?" she said making Constantine jump a little but took deep breaths.

"She scared the new kid, who's a thief lord's son!" one of the kids laughed.

"Shut up Sergi!" Nadya said pushing him making Constantine giggle.

"Is kindergarten like this, a lot?" he asked.

"Sometimes but way better than grade school, which is like gulag.

Who were you talkingbto, in your backpack?

I don't bite, Constantine." she said.

"I was talking to my pet turtle Hector, but how do you know me?

I don't have play dates with other kids, because they're afraid of me." he said.

"My mother knows your father, but you sound awesome, and bet one day you're gonna go down in history!" Nadya said making him giggle seeing toy swords remembering watching his father fence.

Maybe school wasn't so scary after all, now he had a friend.
