Erin and Zoe shot out of the car quickly, ready to greet all the animals eagerly. Reins parents laughed quietly and followed the two hyper teens and paid their entry fees. Erin grabbed a ticket but as she took it, she yelped as she got a paper cut. She licked the wound but didn't let it deter her happy mood. Erin and Zoe immediately made their ways to see the animals. Suddenly, Zoe squealed and shook Erin's shoulders.

"WE CAN PET ANIMALS!" She shrieked with delight. The two headed for the petting area and Erin immediately went to the wolf pen while Zoe dove for the fox area.

"His name is Xander. It's the only name he really responds to." The man stated, opening the gate to allow people in. Erin was the first up, jumping on the inside. A furry black wolf made its way to her and she scratched the large dog behind the ears. As Zoe petted the Fox, it nipped at her hand playfully and tried to climb up her until it's back accidentally nicked the palm of her hand.

"Ow!" Zoe pulled her hand back, rubbing the wound. The Fox licked the wound apologetically and Zoe soon was holding a snake, rubbing its scales gently. The two soon ended up heading back home reluctantly after seeing the animals. As they drove home, Erin touched the wound on her finger. It still stung but she didn't care. She got a picture with a wolf and she was happy, as was Zoe for being able to get her picture taken with a snake and a Fox. The next day, Erin and Zoe excitedly showed April the pictures and told Katie of their day, still happy.

"I'm glad you had fun." Katie smiled gently. "Animals are amazing creatures."

"Agreed." Erin nodded. Well, I'm just gonna head off to art. I'll see you guys later."

"I'll go with you. We're doing still life, aren't we?" Zoe looked at Erin as they turned to walk off. April glanced at Katie and smiled slightly.

"I'll take you to music. You have fun with Alex." April said mischievously. Katie turned pink and folded her arms.

"Shut up, April." She muttered and they moved down the hallways before April dropped her off at the Music department and made her way to Maths.

Katie stood in the music department, tapping her hands against her thighs softly as she waited for the bell to ring. She grew bored and let out a sigh when a note hit her ear. She perked up as more notes followed, creating a tune. The instrument, it sounded like a violin. Katie warily moved forward, following the sound towards the practice rooms where she stopped right outside one of them. The violin stopped and a voice started to sing as the violin started up again at some point.

Now I'm home but I cannot stay, I dream of you everyday,

Got to know every inch of you, will you make my dream come true?

There's no place like home they say, you're my home so hear me pray

I don't know you but I need more time, promise me you'll be mine

Birds are flying over Europe skies, tell me please, why can't I?

The voice then stopped, along with the violin. Katie grew disappointed and was about to walk away when the practice room opened. Alex exited the room and looked at Katie in shock. Did she hear him.

"K-Katie?" He stammered nervously. A look of recognition shone over Katie's face and she smiled.

"That was beautiful, Alex. Is that your own song?" She asked, shouldering her bag. "You're such a talented violinist and singer." Alex laughed sheepishly at her compliment.

"Oh, that's an overstatement, really. You're a better singer and violinist." He replied.

"Oh please. I was given different methods to play instruments and learn songs. You're amazing at playing, I'm just average." Katie laughed, waving her hand in front of her face dismissively.

"Even the fact you can play instruments blind is amazing, Katie." Alex grabbed her hand and put it down. "It proves that you are amazing." Katie gulped, heat slowly creeping up her neck.

"Th-thank you, Alex." Before they could continue talking, the bell rung loudly. Alex grabbed her arm and led her towards their classroom gently, being helpful as normal. Katie smiled gratefully and they took their seats right next to each other before pulling out their sheets of music as it was a practice day.

Soon the day finished and Katie was at Erin's house with her equipment. She sat at the desk and opened the canister before getting Erin to guide her arm to take a sample into a tube. She started to experiment expertly, making sure not to touch in case the substance was highly acidic or alkali in any way.

"What colour has it gone?"

"Umm, a dark purple."

Katie hummed, thinking. She asked a few more questions, growing more and more confused.

"This substance, it's not man made. It can't be." Katie stated, shaking her head. "It's more... alien."

"What? Oh, no way!" Erin exclaimed loudly. "Does that mean Doctor Who is real?!" She looked hopeful. Katie shook her head, folding her arms.

"No, I'm sorry. I wish. What ever you do, don't touch it. It's dangerous and highly alkali. I don't want to end up having to counter it with acid to neutralise it before taking you to hospital." Katie said pointedly. Erin pouted, mumbling that she would never think of it. "Right. And I'm the queen of England." Katie muttered sarcastically. She quickly cleaned her equipment and put it into her bag before sealing the canister. Erin's mother entered the door, looking at Katie.

"Would you like a lift home?" She offered. Katie smiled sweetly and nodded.

"If it's not too much trouble." She said. "I'll see you whenever."

"Yeah. I'll call you. Especially if the canister changes in any way." Erin answered. Her mother helped Katie out of the room and downstairs.

April was with the turtles, hanging out after school. They were eating pizza and chatting about their days.

"Well, I beat my high score today!" Mikey said proudly.

"And I beat your high score." Raph smirked at Mikey, who then pouted. April laughed slightly before discussing her day.

"I was endlessly teasing Katie today and Erin and Zoe told us about the zoo they went to see." She said with a grin.

"Rad. And, uh, why we're you teasing your cousin?" Leo questioned. The other turtles were curious.

"I met her crush a couple of days ago. It's super cute and its obvious he likes her. I'm really considering setting them up." April stated.

"Oh, I know what you mean. You just couldn't resist teasing her, could you?" Raph chuckled, sending a pointed look to Donnie who turned pink and gave him a glare which said 'shut up'.
