Eren found himself chatting with with the youngest turtle, Mikey, who offered him a slice of pizza.

"So, Eren. How ya doin?" Mikey grinned at the auburn wolf. He sent him a smile, grabbing a slice of pizza.

"Doing good. You're name's Mikey, right?" Eren nibbled on the slice, humming quietly. Mikey nodded, grabbing the TV remote and switching the TV on. He flicked through the channels before Eren stopped him. "Hold on! I love Doctor Who!" He said happily, grinning. And it was 'The Empty Child' (one of my favourites). The two watched it intently, laughing at Captain Jack's many odd comments, jumping in fright at the creepy child and just enjoying it all the same. Mikey was amazed at how awesome this show was and wondered why he never watched it before. The very next episode rolled around, 'The Doctor Dances' and they excitedly watched it, chatting and eating their pizza.

"Wow, that kid is just creepy. So, if it touches someone, they turn into one of him?" Mikey questioned part way through it. Eren nodded.

"Yeah. The Nanogenes, as described, found the kid dead and thought the mask was part of it and trouble does down." Eren replied, both their eyes fixated on the TV. When the episode finished, they burst into conversation about it quickly.

"Wow, that show is awesome! I don't like sciency things but it's so good!" Mikey yelled.

"I know, right?! Christopher Eccleston is soooo good but wait until you see David Tennant and Matt Smith!" Eren added, eyes shining brightly.

"What?! They suddenly just remove Christopher Eccleston and completely mess it up?!" Mikey said in horror.

"No, no! The Doctor can regenerate into different faces and that's what happens! And Tennant and Smith are brilliant!" Eren reassured quickly. "Trust me! Even Katie agrees! She loves 'Midnight', it's a great episode! She's thankful she was able to see it before the accident."

"Oh, yeah. I've seen her eyes. Sorry to hear about it. She does well for a blind girl." Mikey stated. He looked at the TV before grinning. "Wanna go outside? It's night about now and not many people will be wandering about."

"That sounds great." Eren smiled. The two immediately set off, making their way out of the sewers. Silently, they got to the rooftops and Mikey turned to Eren.

"Have you ever roof jumped?"

"Pfft. Have you ever roof jumped, he asks." Eren rolled her eyes. "Hell yeah!" He threw his hands up in excitement. "Come on!" Eren took a step back before running forward and jumping to the other roof. "Come on, slow poke!" Mikey let out a laugh before following the Wolf, jumping from building to building. Eren was having so much fun when he suddenly spotted something. He stopped on one of the roofs, making Mikey stop by him.

"Why'd ya stop?" Mikey asked.

"Shh." Eren dropped down and leaned over the edge to look down. There was a... creature. The lower half of it was serpent-like, like a snake with dark green and black scales, along with a white underside. The top half was that of a Fox, it's red fur glistening in the dim light. A mop of curly red hair rested atop it's head. It was looking around, confused. It lifted its paws up to its face and let out a terrified gasp.

"It's a mutant. I'm gonna take it out." Mikey pulled out his nunchucks and started to leap down.

"Wait!" Eren hissed, reaching out. Mikey started to lunge at the mutant, the mutant letting out a scared scream.

"H-hold on! No, don't hurt me!" It pleaded. It's voice was feminine, identifying it as a girl. Eren immediately recognised the voice and panicked as Mikey went to attack. Without thinking, Eren jumped down onto Mikey's back, making him yelp.

"Don't hurt her! She's my friend!" Eren declared, making the mutant gasp.

"E-Erin?" She stammered, staring at the wolf. Eren sent her a sheepish look.

"Hey, Zoe." He answered.

"Honestly, it's not like Zoe to not be here." April grumbled, crossing her arms. Katie stood there with a frown, leaning against the wall.

"I'm worried, April." Katie muttered quietly. April looked at her before patting her shoulder reassuringly.

"Don't worry, Katie. I'm sure Zoe is just fine. Maybe she's sick. We can go see her after school." She replied, smiling slightly. Katie nodded in agreement. Before the two knew it, the bell had rung and they were off to class. The day started to drag by and both girls didn't know where their friend was. Silently, Katie listened to her lecture in science, tapping her fingers against the table in a nervous fashion. It was then the bell rung, to signify the end of fifth period. The dark-haired female exited the room, keeping close to the wall with her music folder ready for next period when someone shoved her into the wall, making her fall to her knees and drop her folder.

"Oops." Someone taunted before they continued on their way. Katie sighed and felt around for her folder when a hand grabbed her arm and hauled her up. Katie stood there, confused when a folder was put into her arms.

"Honestly, some people these days." Alex grumbled quietly.

"O-oh, thank you, Alex." Katie said gratefully. Alex smiled before helpfully leading her to music. He seemed a bit nervous, clearing his throat many times and opening his mouth only to quickly shut it once again. "Alex? Are you okay?" Katie asked him, making him sigh.

"Y-yeah, yeah I'm fine. I was just wondering if you possibly wanted to, I dunno, go to Murikami's tonight with me? Like a, well, like a... Umm." Alex trailed off.

"A, uh, a date?" Katie guessed, jumping when he answered.

"Yeah!" He said with a bit of excitement. "Um, I mean, yeah, like a date." Alex changed his tone of voice quickly, making Katie giggle quietly.

"All right."

"R-really? Cool! I'll pick you up a-" Katie cut Alex off.

"Oh, no, I don't want to be a burden! I can get my mother to drive me." Katie reassured. Alex frowned slightly.

"Well, okay. If you're sure. I'll see you at 8.30." He stated as they walked in to class.

"That was a stupid move. Damnit. Where is it?" Katie grumbled quietly. Donnie was walking along the rooftops when he saw her trying to walk around without any help. He rolled his eyes to see that the girl was alone. He jumped down from the rooftop and stopped her, scaring the living hell out of her.

"What are you doing out without someone to help you?" Donnie folded his arms, staring at the blind female in front of him. She looked a little bit nervous, biting her lip.

"I'm, uh, going on a date and I may have lied and said I could get picked up and dropped off there without my date's help." She answered quietly, laughing sheepishly. Donnie sighed, rubbing his forehead. Katie let out a breath of defeat. "I'm sorry, okay? I didn't want to burden him with the job of taking me to Murikami's restaurant. It would have probably annoyed him." She scratched the back of her neck, biting her lower lip.

"All right. I'll drop you off outside, but that's it. Next time let him take you, okay? Or else you'll get lost and possibly mugged. Or maybe raped, who knows in this dangerous area?" Donnie said, frowning. "Eren and April wouldn't want anything to happen to you, Katie, so be more sensible next time. You're a smart girl but for shell's sake, use that big brain of yours!" Katie lifted her head, eyes wide.

"B-big brain? Smart? You think I'm... smart?" She questioned quietly. Donnie froze up.

"Uhh, well y-you are! You are a smart girl! Even wh-when you're blind, you're really clever!" He said. Katie turned slightly pink.

"Thank you, Donnie." Donnie grabbed her by the shoulders and started to lead her towards Murikami's restaurant, knowing most civilisation wouldn't be out at this time. Soon, he stopped close to the entrance and handed her his staff. "Don? What's this for?" Katie asked, gripping the wooden stick curiously. Donnie looked at her with a small smile.

"It's to help you move around easier. Sure, my bo staff is quite large but it'll be helpful." He answered, watching as a smile graced her lips.

"Thank you. I'll talk to you later, Don. Good bye." Katie patted his shoulder before entering the building. She tapped the staff around before two hands clasped her shoulders. She jolted and her head snapped up when a small chuckle entered her ears.

"Glad you made it here safely, Katie. Nice staff by the way." Alex's voice reached her ears and she sighed in relief.

"Thanks, Alex. I'm just glad to be here with you." Katie replied, turning around towards him. She smiled up at him and he led her over to a seat before helping her up, placing her staff next to her. He hopped up onto his seat and turned to her with a smile.

"Chicken Gyoza and the little cat-shaped onigiri with some Sangaria Hajikete Melon Soda, right?" Alex asked. Katie's eyes widened in amazement.

"You actually remembered what I like?" She muttered. Alex let out a quiet chuckle, patting her shoulder.

"Of course I did. I remember a lot of things about you, it's not easy to try and forget them." He scratched the back of his neck before telling Murikami their orders. The blind man nodded and set to work happily. Katie hummed softly before turning in the direction he was in.

"Really? So then, what can you remember about me? Really, there's not much there." Katie laughed softly. Alex shook his head.

"Are you kidding? There's a whole load of interesting facts about you! You're a very kind girl, you're really smart, you're a prodigy in music and science. You're a talented girl, especially for someone with your predicament. You love to sing and despite the fact you can play every instrument, your favourites are the flute, the violin and the piano. When you hear your favourite songs or types of genres of music, you always tilt your head and you have this sort of blissful look around you. Despite the fact that some people bully you, you're still kind and don't let it affect your every day life." Alex burst and spilt his knowledge, making Katie freeze up in shock at the fact that he noticed. She cleared her throat nervously.

"Thank you, Alex. That's amazing that you know so much about me." Katie fiddled with her fingers.

"But that's the thing. There's so much more to be revealed." Alex stated. "I know things about you but I want to know more."

"Well, what about you? You love to play the violin and sing. Your voice is angelic, really. And you love to create songs. You miss your home in Norway but you love living here at the same time. You're a musical prodigy, too, and whenever you get really excited, your voice quivers slightly and you speak a bit faster than normal. You want to go into the musical industry when you're older and I just know you're gonna go far in it." Katie paused, blushing. "I'm sorry, I started to ramble quite a bit there." Alex smiled.

"It's sweet that you know so much about me." He murmured as they were served their food and drinks. Katie started to take a drink of her soda. "You know, that song you heard me play before was a song I made for you." Katie put down the can of her drink and began to cough violently. Alex immediately hit her back until she was breathing normally. "Hey, are you okay? Please be careful, I don't want anything bad to happen to you." Katie breathed in heavily.

"F-for me? You made that song... for me?" She stammered, unsure if she heard right. Alex rubbed her back to relax her after her strong coughing fit.

"Well, yeah. I really like you." Katie froze at those words. This just felt too good to be true.

"I like you too, Alex." Katie admitted quietly. The two ate their meal, still talking and laughing and just having fun. Before they knew it, they were walking home together. "This was great, Alex. We must do this again sometime." Katie stated, gripping Alex's hand happily. They paused in front of her house. Alex unlocked her door for her before placing her keys back in her hand.

"I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. I'll see you at school tomorrow." Alex smiled sweetly before cupping her left cheek. He stroked it softly, biting his lip. "Katie. Can I... can I kiss you?" Her cheeks flushed softly and she nodded shyly.

"Mhm." Katie hummed quietly. Alex was slightly hesitant, leaning in close. He stayed like that for a bit before clenching his eyes shut and surging forward, pressing his lips to hers. Katie's eyes widened before unconsciously closing. She reached up and held his face in her hands, kissing back. She melted into it, her lips pressed to his just as clumsily a his was to hers. Neither had kissed before and it was a bit awkward but it was still an amazing feeling.
