Sorry, I am still alive, just lazy! I've got some more drabbles for you, so please forgive me :)

This is a prompt for a 15 sentence drabble from tumblr from thedenimofrose: Klaroline on their first real date.

"A movie?" she asked incredulously, wondering if her eyes were deceiving her as they came to a stop, staring up at the giant neon lights on the marquee of the local cinema. "I was expecting something more along the lines of a fancy dinner, maybe after a surprise plane ride to another country or something equally extravagant what with the giant deal you made out of us going on a real first date," Caroline said as she turned to look at Klaus with bewilderment.

"I seem to recall you expressing a desire for our first date to be a movie, sweetheart," Klaus grinned, enjoying the look of confusion give way to one of understanding tinged with embarrassment, "Though I do hope you no longer desire to 'put at least three seats between us.'"

"I- that was- I don't- you know what, never mind," Caroline stuttered, finally shaking her head in resignation, "a movie is fine," she acquiesced, taking his proffered arm with a roll of her eyes.

She was more than a little surprised by his choice of movie, but smiled shyly because he clearly chose it for her, something he seemed to do a lot, she was coming to realize. Caroline laughed when he bought them popcorn and soda, Klaus commenting the entire walk from the concession stand to their seats about the ridiculous size of the items and how of course there is an obesity problem in America when the medium soda is as large as your head.

But when the theater darkened and his hand slipped into hers, she knew she had made the right choice in agreeing to this date, and to being with Klaus.

When the house lights came back up while the credits rolled, she felt her nerves return, however, her eyes shifting over to look at him, deep frown crossing his face.

The hybrid cleared his throat, licking his lips as he blinked a few times in disbelief before he turned to face her, "So, am I understanding correctly that these vampires… sparkle?" he asked, his voice an odd mixture of incredulity and disgust.

"Um, yeah," Caroline said sheepishly, pressing her lips together as she stared down at the floor. "To be fair, I hadn't been turned when I first watched these movies," she defended, looking at him out of the corner of her eyes as she bit her lower lip nervously, "I can't believe I used to like these movies," she whispered as she shook her head.

Klaus chuckled, reaching for her hand again and squeezing, bringing her attention back to him, "I would gladly sit through a thousand horribly inaccurate vampire movies if it meant I was able to be with you, Caroline," he assured her, his dimpled grin bringing a blush to her cheeks.

"Good," she said softly, smiling at him as she leant forward to give him a gentle kiss, "because they're showing the next movie here next weekend," she added as she pulled back, grinning widely at his look of horror.

"As you wish," he sighed, standing up and helping her to her feet before they exited the theater, hand in hand. "Tell me something though, sweetheart; were you 'Team Edward' or 'Team Jacob?'"

Caroline looked at him thoughtfully for a moment, lips pursed as she considered his question, "To tell you the truth, I was never a big fan of either of them," she admitted, though she purposefully left out her opinions on who had a better body, "I always thought a combination of the two character would be better than either one alone."

Klaus smirked as he pulled her into his arms, enjoying the way her arms automatically wrapped around his shoulders, "Good answer, sweetheart," he said before claiming her lips, oblivious to the passersby as he deemed their date a success.
