Dean's P.O.V.

Sam stared at his watch as we analysed Em and Belle and their no shit quality that they possessed.

"Yo, Sammy. What time is it?" It seemed like no time had passed since the girls showed their fighting moves.

"It's 1:30pm." Sam replied as he looked up from his cheap but useful black watch.

"What's next boys? A tea party? Maybe we could play hide and seek!" jeered Belle, clearly bored.

" Can you handle a gun?" I asked.

"Obviously " grunted Belle.

"Erm, sort of." muttered Em as she put down her book in the impala and walked over to us again.

" What does sort of mean?" I smirked.

" She can shoot if the target is still." helped Belle.

I laughed at Em's inexperience. She seemed to naive and innocent to have so many crap things happen in her life already. She looked nervous as she stared intently at Belle - her face showing that she was uncomfortable in this situation.

" Okay then" I started.

" Sammy go get four shotguns from the trunk, I'll set up some targets. " Sam jogged to the impala and I began to carve a target into a tree trunk with my jack knife.

"Do I have the pleasure of embarrassing you yet again, green eyes?" teased Belle.

I chuckled. "Nope. But I will show you how to shoot."

" Hey Sammy! You take Em to the clearing over there and teach her how to lock and load." I said as Sam returned from the impala. I pointed to a clearing in the distance; Sam turned from his previous place and looked at Em.

I picked up a shotgun and inspected it. A wooden handle and silver trigger, ready to fire at a moments notice.

" Don't bother" Belle said looking at the gun with disgust. She withdrew a small pistol from her waistband.

" I got my own toy" Belle muttered, loading the gun.

"Well we're gonna go now..." Sam glanced between myself and Belle as we shot each other the evils. Sam once again looked at Em nervously. She met his eyes and quickly looked down as she started to trudge forward. Sam swiftly turned again and started towards the clearing that was masked in fog.

"Alright then sweetheart, how good of a shot are you?" I asked, turning to look at Belle.

"Keep calling me sweetheart and you'll find out green eye." She quipped.

"Can you hit a bullseye? " I questioned, ignoring her tough act. God she's difficult. And annoying. She lifted the gun, positioning it and pulled the trigger: not at all fazed. She looked like a hunter searching for its prey. Almost in slow motion, the bullet flew hitting the target. A perfect hit.

"Does that answer your question? "

" I suppose it does. " Belle sat on the floor in a patch of grass. We locked eyes and without blinking or flinching I pulled the trigger on my gun towards the target. I watched Belle's face as she saw the bullet fly through the air and hit the target.

" Let me guess, perfect bullseye right?" I challenged without looking to check where I'd hit.

" Well well well, you can shoot!" She grinned, standing up.

She dusted off the back of her jeans and lazily sauntered forward, approaching me. She turned so her back was to the target and she was staring intensely at me. With her gun in her hand she twisted her arm slightly and pulled the trigger. Her lips inched into a smile as she heard the bullet dent the tree.

"I mean. That was just incase you didn't get that I can shoot."

Does she really think she's better than me?! I mean hell, she'd taken me by surprise in the combat test which was why I'd fallen so easily, but now she actually thinks she can beat me!

" Oh well, let's move this up a level. " I suggested. Belle put one hand in her hair and grinned. "What'd you have in mind?" I thought for a minute and an idea formed in my head... I mean an actual good idea this time that wouldn't involve death... Well maybe it would considering Belle seemed to be slightly pissed and armed with a gun.

" Alright then. So we both proved we can hit a still target. What about a moving one?" I suggested.

" Too easy. A small, moving one sounds better. Like... This!" Belle laughed, holding up a rock. The rock was about the size of the palm of a child's hand. I picked up a similar sized one.

" If we throw them at the same time in different directions, let's see who can get the best shot. Deal Winchester? " I chuckled.

She really believed she could beat me.

"Deal."

"Right on the count of three we throw them and both shoot."

"Fine. One." Belle raised her eyebrows.

"Two." I looked her up and down.

"Three." We said in unison.

I threw my rock over to the left and she threw hers to the right. My breathing slowed and I focused. Bang. I pulled the trigger and hit the rock with a resounding crack. Then came the second crack. Shit. She'd actually hit it! I nodded toward her gesturing that we retrieve our targets. "Son of a bitch. " I muttered, picking up my rock. A hole dead through the centre. " Beat that sweetheart. "

Her rock was further away from mine so she jogged to where it had landed. It too had a hole dead centre of it. Black singed the outside of hers and smudged as she looked at me through the rock.

"Game set and matched. " she smiled throwing the rock aside. " Next challenge?"

Em's P.O.V.

Sam looked awkwardly me as I anxiously looked to the floor. I shuffled my feet as I stood wringing my hands. Anxiety crept over me as I realised that I was left by Belle with a stranger... A good looking stranger, but a stranger non the less. "So Erm, Dean wanted me to see you shoot so... I have no idea why I'm so nervous, I'm so sorry!" Sam laughed and I couldn't help but join in, hoping it would hide my nervousness.

" Have you got a gun I could borrow? It's more Belle's thing, I don't carry one."

He gently picked up a gun from his belt and passed it to me as if I would sprint the other way if he startled me. With me being this anxious... I might; I gently smoothed my hair down as I thought about what he thought of my. Typical me being self conscious in front of a good looking, but out of my league guy.

"If you could try and hit that tree, I can see how good you are." Sam explained, pointing to a tree in the distance.

"Right" Come on Em. Get your head straight. Stop thinking about the gorgeous, tall stranger and start focusing on how to impress him. No, wait. That's a Belle thought. Just shoot the stupid tree Em! I lifted the gun and cocked my head, analysing the how far the distance of the tree was from where I was standing. It was nearly at the other side of the dilapidated clearing me and Sam had briefly taken over. Don't think, just do. Shoot. I breathed in. And out again. Focus. Concentrate. What has that tree done to anyone? No, don't think about that, just shoot it! Quickly I pulled the trigger. The bang of the gunshot resonated around the muddy field. Birds flew away from their nests in alarm and created a cacophony of sound as they flapped their winds urgently trying to get away from me and Sam.

"Well, you hit the tree. " Sam encouraged. "Not central enough though. If that was a real enemy I would of maimed it, not killed it." I muttered, slightly embarrassed.

"In some cases, killing isn't necessary." Sam smiled. "You just gotta look at your target more. I can teach you now, if you want?" He looked at the floor awkwardly.

" Yes please."

This is going to be great... Not. I mean we're both so awkward. Sure he's gifted in the looks department but I bet he's laughing at me on the inside. He looks up and smiles at me and I smile back at him slightly. He pulled yet another gun from his belt. Who the hell is he, Superman? "Look at your target. I know it's a tree and, granted, it's not very threatening. Pretend though, that you have to kill this attacker. Look directly at the centre and fire." I followed his instructions and pulled the trigger. I imagined it was a villain in my own story. The story I was yet to write. The tree was not a tree anymore but a ghastly man that towered above everyone and everything. His large hands moved forward and his greasy, matted hair flew behind him as the bullet hit him in the 'stomach'. After the bullet hit him he transformed back into a weather worn tree that loomed high above the other ones. "Wow!" Sam laughed. Damn his laugh. It makes him look even more good looking, and he does a full laugh, not a fake one. A grin appeared on my face, proud that I'd defeated my villain.

" Can you shoot?" I asked Sam.

I blush. Why am I being so bold? I know I'll regret it later. I know he'll mock me and think I'm childish.

" Yeah. I can shoot. You sort of have to know if you live this life. Saving people, hunting things, the family business as Dean would say." Sam looks at me.

"Cool." I look at the floor again. Cool? COOL?! Since when have I been a preteen boy? I'm a girl... No I'm a confident wom... I'm a girl. Sam raised his gun and shot three times. All three shots hit the tree in the dead centre.

" Showoff " I muttered.

"What was that?" Sam said, sarcastically. "Nothing!" I smiled.

"You sure? Because I have no problem with me being a Showoff, it just means I'm good at my job" I laughed. I heard a chorus of laughter erupt from the spot behind us where belle and Dean were.

"Hey kids." Dean yelled.

I groaned inwardly at the fact that Belle had seen... Could you call it flirting?

"We're gonna go back to the motel now. Unless you two lovebirds want to stay a little longer." Dean sagged his eyebrows at us. I ran to the rock where I had left my backpack a slung the burgundy material over my shoulder.

" Oh and by the way" Dean called again from behind me. Five bullets through the air and hit the tree, forming the letter W on the bark. I gulped, turning back to Dean. He had a pistol in his hands and a smirk on his face. " You chose the wrong brother to teach you how to shoot."

I spun around and made my way to the impala, everyone else trailing behind me.

"You're eager Em." Belle remarked as she walked slightly in front of the Winchester's.

" I'm tired, that's all. Also Harry is waiting for me in the car." Belle gives me a funny look as she starts thinking about who Harry could be.

"Harry?" asked Sam.

"Book" I replied, keeping my eyes fixed on the car. I stifled a yawn and turned to look at belle, who looked more energised than she'd been all day. " What's made you so happy?" I asked her.

" Beating dean at his own game." She replied, grinning.

" Hey, it was a draw! " Dean protested.

We reached the car and I swiftly got into the backseat, Belle following me. I reached over and picked up my book setting it on my knee as I opened the pages. A sense of relief flowed through me as belle and the Winchesters sat in the impala. Dean turned on the radio. A heavy rock and roll beat pounded through the speakers alerting belle.

" You're kidding me?! ACDC?! I love them!" Dean turned in his seat to look at my sister. " Oh my god, I'm so glad you can appreciate my kind of music. "

I stifled a giggle and took my beat up old iPod out of its pocket in my backpack. I put my headphones in and switched some My Chemical Romance on. I know not what you were expecting from a bookworm. Nevertheless, I still heard the song end and belle tapped my shoulder. I took out one headphone. " Yes?"

" What are you listening to?"

" MCR, why?"

" Give me a headphone quickly. You selfish girl! " I passed her a headphone and continued with my book.

Dean pulled out of the field we had been practising in and we started the long journey back to the motel. My chemical romance continued to blare in my ears as I read. Belle sat beside me, nodding along to the music. " I need new clothes. Soon" She muttered to me.

" Same." I replied.

"Don't worry, I'll play some pool or darts tonight, I just need to find the closest pub and we'll have the money for outfits. We'll go shopping tomorrow if you want? "

"If we get the money." I stated knowing that pool and darts were a risk. "Why don't you play poker? I mean you're unbeatable at it."

Belle scoffed "Unbeatable. The last time I lost £300."

" That was a fluke! The guy cheated and you know it. " I protested.

Belle laughed " Look, I'll get ready, find a pub and then I'll either play darts, poker or pool and win a million pounds. Dollars sorry."

"A pub?" Sam questioned.

"Ummm... I think it would be a bar here." I told him. I immediately looked down after, pretending to read the page. "I guess I'll just read at the bar or something." I say turning to Belle.

" Okay, but if anyone bothers you" She started but Dean cut her off.

"tell me and I'll make sure they don't come near you again. " I smiled at him in the mirror.

" Erm, who invited you? " Belle questioned sarcastically.

"Belle, leave him." I mutter to her hoping she won't make the whole situation awkward. She pulled a face at me and Dean snorted as he laughed. I lay my head against the seat of the impala and drifted off to sleep.
