But man, I'm seriously shocked by the amount of reviews, favs and followers though, so thank you very much everyone! :D If this ends up going well, it's possible another fem!Gon fic might be made after I finish one of my other fics...Note the word "possible" as it might be a "maybe" or a "never" XD
But I realized I typed this way before I learned that Netero and Kaito died in the manga...(I only knew the beginning of how the Chimera ants arc started back then, but I didn't get to read it fully until a year after...and I mentioned the both of them in the previous chapter XD) So let's just pretend they're both still alive and the Chimera Ant's arc didn't happen? Hahaha...If only XD;

Disclaimer: I do not own Hunter x Hunter
Months later, the day of the exam finally arrived. It was late in the evening, as Killua and Gon were on top of strong tree branches watching the new applicants coming from the shores from their excruciating first exam.
"You really worked them out! It looks like everyone is half dead already!" Killua swung his legs back on forth while holding his cell phone by his ear.
"Yeah, there were at least four thousand applicants this year. I only managed to narrow it down to five hundred and seventy two people." A mature voice said through the other end of the call. Killua sweat-dropped, thinking how amazing Kurapika was.
"You say that like it's a bad thing! Don't worry Kurapika, that's more than enough." Killua shrugged, "You better come later on though, Gon wants to see you and Leorio." He laughed slightly when Gon said hi to them from afar.
"Of course we'll come later, we came specifically because of what we're going to see~" Kurapika slightly teased on the other side of the phone.
"Shessh! You're just here to embarrass me aren't you?" Killua blushed angrily.
"You bet were here to embarrass you!" Killua heard Leorio's voice echoed on the other side loudly. "You talked to Mito already right?"
"Yeah, of course I did!" Killua barked back.
"Well you got nothing to worry about- Oh, you're starting soon. I'm going to hang up! Good luck!" Leorio quickly hanged up on him.
Killua put his cell phone back in his pocket. "What were they talking about?" Gon asked curiously.
"Nothing, they're just teasing me as usual..." He pouted since it was the truth.
Gon giggled as they watched the remaining examinees gather below them, "I think they're ready now! Let's go down Killua!" She stood up on the branch, "Neh, should we make an awesome entrance like Netero-san did that time?"
"Hmm depends~" He also stood up on the tree branch as well, "We're introducing ourselves as two star Hunters, so we should definitely debut like one!"
"We should!" Gon grinned and Killua grinned back as they both jumped off the 3 story high tree and they both simultaneously landed on the ground with a bang. The air surrounded them for only a brief moment.
The applicants jumped back surprised as Killua lift his head first, "Yo! We're your examiners for the second exam-"
"AH! Tonpa-san is here!" Gon pointed at him and everyone turned to Tonpa who was quivering quite nervously at the sight of the two of them grown up. Killua slapped himself.
"Of course, what do you expect? He's that dumb rookie crusher." Killua inwardly sighed, as his eyebrow twitched, "He's still taking the exam? He should be ashamed at himself..." He thought.
"Hi Tonpa-san! Do you remember me?" Gon waved at him excitedly, and Tonpa laughed nervously waving back at her.
Some of the applicants began to whisper, "Hey, aren't they just teenagers?" Similar words flew over them.
Tonpa intervened, "Oh no, they're not just any ordinary teenagers. That one is a lethal assassin that can rip a person's heart out in an instant, and that girl is way stronger than any of you might think..." Tonpa remembered the endeavors they went through back at Trick Tower many years ago.
Gon smiled, "I'm Gon and this is my boyfriend Killua!" Killua lightly smacked the back of Gon's head, "A-And we're both Hunters!" Gon stammered as she properly introduced themselves. Killua sighed how unnecessary the first statement was. She pouted at him, but she quickly turned back to everyone. "Today, you guys are going to hunt for something specific!"
"Alright everyone listen up!" Killua clapped to get everyone attention as he walked over to a set of bushes and took out a large white giant seed from it. It was slightly bigger than a coconut and supposedly heavier than one, but he bounced it up and down on his hand with ease. "Your task is to find this seed, the puzzle seed."
"Puzzle seed?" Some of them asked.
"It a seed that can grow into any kind of flower in the world depending on the type of liquid used on it. It can instantly grow without the long wait too!" Gon explained, "But here's the catch! We've hidden only 90 seeds all over this island!"
"90 seeds?!" Few of the applicants cried.
"Does that mean only 90 people will pass?!" Another person cried out.
"That's right." Killua smirked, "But don't think finding them will be easy, you already met some of the horrors on this island. I wouldn't be surprised if half of you died getting one." He saw most of applicants tremble nervously; too bad they'll be facing some ferocious creatures and deadly traps up head.
"We're giving you until 7AM in the morning for you guys to find them all! You can use any tools or weapons necessary, and stealing each other's seeds is also allowed. But remember, only one seed per person! And when you get one, bring it straight back here. There's going to be a second phase so be prepared for it!" He stated the conditions and he nodded at Gon.
"You can all start...Now!" Gon shouted as the applicants quickly scurried away into the forests of the island.
Time went by and they saw most of the applicants return with their clothes ragged, injuries and the like. Dawn came, and most of the applicants made it back alive, barely able to hold the seed within their arms.
Gon yawned tiredly and Killua counted all of them that made it back, "Ok! First phase is done! All 90 of you passed! The second phase will start soon, so until then all of you should take a break." He pointed towards a spot of soil up ahead, "Everyone else who is just loafing around here...Go home."
The applicants collapsed tiredly as they finally were able to take a rest from their endeavors. Others were sent home by boat and some people from the Hunter Association confirmed the number of deaths.
Gon giggled happily as she watched the sun slowly rising, "It's finally morning!" She exclaimed.
"Hm? You seem happy." Killua elbowed her.
"Of course I am, since today is officially the day I first met you, Leorio and Kurapika!" She smiled looking down at the applicants planting their seeds. "We should all celebrate later! It's not often were all together in one place!"
"Of course we will! I'm glad you're happy."
"Are you happy?" She looked back at him.
"What, of course I am! This day is very important to me too!" He placed a hand under his chin, "If I didn't meet you, I...Don't know where or what the heck I would be doing now..."
She smirked at him, "Well your with us now, so you don't have to worry about the what if's!"
"True." He smiled back.
"And we'll always be together forever!" She spread her arms happily.
"Don't say it like that! It's embarrassing!"
"But its true isn't it?" She blinked.
"Fine it's true...Despite how embarrassing it sounds..." He couldn't argue that.
She laughed, "It's okay to say embarrassing stuff sometimes Killua!"
"Only for you! You have no problems doing it!" He furrowed his brows.
"Well you should try it!" Gon suggested eagerly.
"Huh? Now?" Killua jerked back.
"Yeah, why not?" Gon tilted her head.
"I...Have nothing embarrassing to admit!" He blushed looking away.
"Hehhh, liar!" As much as Killua could read Gon like a book, so could she. She playfully swayed her head from side to side.
"I'm not lying!"
"Then prove it!"
"Oi! It's better not to leave from the area or the jaguar bears will come after you guys!" Killua waved at the applicants below them as he quickly avoided her request. Since some of them were about to walk away from the resting area. Gon pouted angrily and Killua stuck out his tongue at her, "We should keep a better eye on them though, so no horsing around~" He stuck out his tongue.
"Tch!" Gon fumed as she looking away at him.
"Come on, that's not the way an official hunter and examiner should behave~" Killua taunted.
"Mou fine!" She scoffed. After a moment she turned back to him with a stern expression plastered on her face, "Do I look like one now!?" She asked a bit too seriously making her face look more comical rather than stern. Killua laughed.
"Nope, you look like Hisoka defeated you at rock paper scissors!"
Red veins appeared on Gon's head, "I would win!"
"Wanna bet then?" Killua raise a finger.
"A bet? What kind?" She blinked.
"If I beat you at rock paper scissors right now, I can ask one thing from you. If you win, you can ask me anything you want, and I'll admit that you can beat Hisoka hands down." Killua suggested.
"Alright! I know I won't lose! Best out of 3 wins!" Gon exclaimed. She watched Killua raised his other hand though, "Using your left hand is illegal!"
"Tch fine, right it is..." Killua held up his dominant hand.
This is the moment Killua had been waiting for.
The battle against the fiercest player he knows:
Gon.
Usually Killua is ruthless when it comes to competition, but this is a person he loves unconditionally. Being ruthless is one thing but when it comes to Gon herself, it's another. He has to plan out his win smartly if he wants to beat her without making her grow a fit out of it.
"At least I know her usual game play." Killua thought in his head, "The probability of her using rock first is high since she usually starts off with that. Unless she figures out the change in my hand movements, I need to be careful not to mess up on. I have to absolutely make it look like I'm pulling out scissors instead of paper."
"Rock paper scissors!"
Gon held out scissors while Killua held out paper. Killua made a fumbled expression as Gon pointed a leaf that suddenly landed on his shoulder. "Dang she's noticed my arm movements!"
"Rock paper scissors!"
Gon held out paper while Killua held out rock. She smirked, he frowned.
Killua was about to think what he should pull out next, until he noticed intricacy of Gon's knuckles and how it was standing out. He then remembered how different they were within each turn. He smirked, "I see now!"
"Rock paper scissors!"
Killua held out scissors while Gon held out paper. Gon yelped surprised and Killua smirked again. "Rock paper scissors!" Killua held out scissors while Gon held out paper.
"We're tied!" Gon sounded surprised as Killua wiped some sweat off his forehead in relief.
"Rock paper scissors!"
Gon showed rock while Killua showed paper. "I win!" Killua cheered.
"How did you know I was going to do rock?" She gaped.
"Your hand," He pointed at them, "When it's relaxed it's going to be paper, when it's rock you tense them up, and when it's paper your fingers are more aligned with each other."
"Hehh you can tell from that? I didn't know..." She looked at them in awe, "You're amazing Killua!"
"S-Stop flattering me, it was just something simple." Killua flushed nervously turning away.
"Oi oi oi! How much longer are you two love birds gonna sit on that branch?" A voiced interrupted them from below.
Killua and Gon looked down and saw Leorio attempting to climb up the tree. "Leorio!" Gon waved happily, however Killua laughed as he swung himself on the branch.
"You won't make it up here in a million years old man! So don't bother climbing up!" Killua joked.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. We got the second phase to do!" Leorio reminded them.
"I'll let you handle it." Killua spun around the branch in boredom.
"Really?" Leorio gawked.
"What's the second phase anyway? You guys didn't tell me yet." Gon glanced at the both of them curiously. She knew of the first phase but they simply told her: 'you'll understand when you see it'
"Jump down and we'll get started. Let's hurry!" Killua jumped down and Gon groaned annoyed that he ignored her question. She reluctantly jumped down as well.
Leorio marched up to the middle of the area and clapped to get everyone's attention, "Hey! Come on guys wake up! The second phase is starting!"
Tonpa jerked back noticing Leorio was there, "YOU!"
"Oh yes, ME!" Leorio laughed to Tonpa's discontent. "I'm in charge of the second phase of this exam!" Everyone else got up, and Killua and Gon watched him with extreme interest, "Now I would like you guys to look to the fermented soil over there." Leorio pointed at the area ahead and the applicants eyes followed. "You have to plant the seeds you got at that spot. If the water we pour in grows into some sort of plant then you pass! And you have to use that plant to get to the third exam which is allllllllll the way on top of the mountain there!"
"Ehhhhhh?" They all screamed.
"Come! You guys can do it!" Gon jumped up excitedly in attempt to encourage the examinees.
They started complaining, "Yeah right! As if we believe you!"
"Don't screw with us!"
"Do you doubt her words?" Killua glared at them with his murderous eyes...and that gave them enough of a clue to run away.
"You ok Killua?" Gon poked him to make him drop his murderous facade.
"Yeah I'm cool." He smirked pretending nothing ever happened.
"So what kind of plant is everyone going to grow? It's the same water is it?" It didn't seem that Gon was offended of what they were saying earlier.
"Actually, we'll be choosing between those three barrels of liquids." He informed her.
"Hehh~" Gon hummed amazed as they watched the examinees walk over to their destination. However, they noticed some of the jerked back and fallen down as if they got scared of something.
"It's just soil! It isn't some mad eating monster!" Leorio barked at them, "Keep moving!"
"But those cards came out from nowhere!" Someone screamed.
The three glanced at each other cautiously, "Cards?" They ran over to the spot where the fallen man was and looked up ahead. Indeed there were playing cards stuck perfectly on the ground.
"D-Don't tell me that guy is here?" Tonpa trembled.
"Look up there! In that tree!" The Amori brothers have returned once again to the exam. Their younger brother pointed up to a tree not too far ahead of everyone.
In his black prankster suit, Hisoka was casually sitting on a strong tree branch twirling a card in-between his fingers.
"Isn't that..." Leorio trailed with a gulp at the end.
"Hisoka?" Gon jumped surprised.
"He isn't supposed to be here! I didn't hear of this!" Leorio held his hands to the sides of his head appalled.
Killua's face paled and his eyes dimmed. If he was holding something he would have dropped it right there and then. He looked up to Hisoka as if he was the last man on this planet.
"Hello everyone~" Hisoka greeted everyone with a playful smirk on his face.
There was only one response Killua could muster:
"...Shit."
That's the end of chapter 2! XD Please review if you like it and if you want me to continue! (Even though the next chapter will probably come 6 million years later XD)
