I rest my head against the cold window. I look down and saw Goth clothes. Every day I do this. Every day since she chose him over me. Jock over skater. Oh well, I try to say to myself. It's only a girl. I can have any one I want. I found out when I was running away from Annabeth that day, and I ran right into Calypso and Katie talking about how hot I was and how every girl wanted me. I tested that theory. The next day I asked out Rachel Elizabeth Dare, and she fainted. Hm. I guess they do. Since then I have gotten a reputation as bad. Well I don't give 2 f**** about what they think.
" PERCY!" Another girl shrieked. Every day new girls come up to me to try to snare my affections. Usually I give them the bird and then either they walk away or I do. So I ignored this girl until she shrieked in my ear again " Percy" . Except now I noticed something. It wasn't a shriek, more like a... a scold.
" WHAT?!" I yelled. Everybody on the bus turned their heads to me and the girl. I was about to chew the girl out when the words got caught in my throat. There she was. Annabeth Chase herself. She gotten even more beautiful since the last time I talked to her 4 years ago. Those honey blonde curls, those grey stormy eyes, Californian girl tan, except this time she was blushing. I got over my senses and protected my reputation by going, I grabbed a random book and pretended to start reading." Cant you see Im reading Annabeth?"
"I just saw you pick up that book Percy. Plus its upside down."
I put the book down and glared" What does little princess Annabeth want?"
She looked disappointed, then angry, " I was just gonna ask, why did all of a sudden you got your panties in a twist all of a sudden? One day you were just happy go lucky, but now it looks like you mixed with your cousins Thalia and Nick!"
"First of all Sunshine, his name is Nico, not Nick, Nico. Got it? Good. And just leave me alone Princess."
" Ha, you wish I would give up that easy, huh? Well you cant ever get rid of me."
I got an idea. I went up to her and whispered softly" How about now."
She shivered, then looked up startled. But by then I was gone, already flirting with another girl. She screamed in frustration and went to join Luke. I went to join my friends, leaving the poor girl I was flirting with alone. You see, we split up our group. The guys stuck with me, while the girls stuck with Annabeth. Jason and Piper, Travis and Katie, and Silena and Beckondorf stayed neutral. Luke obviously went to Annabeth's side and he and I are rivals. Same thing for Rachel and Annabeth.
I was currently talking with the Stoll twins and Jason ( Jason's my best friend) when Jason pointed behind me. I looked back and I saw my sworn enemy. Yes, Luke Castellan was storming towards me. And he was mad.
