Hi guys! Sorry for the suspense! I went on a holiday and the internet hasn't been working right so it took some time! I know you were all waiting for the kiss in the last chapter, but its' only the beginning of the story*smirks evilly* I hope you enjoy!

Don walked away with a small frown but he was relieved when he heard Leo's whispered confession even if it wasn't meant for him to hear. He scanned the room until he saw Casey, April and Mikey each wearing the same look of disappointment.

"I thought it would work!" April moaned.

"They were this close! THIS CLOSE! TOO KISSING!" Mikey exclaimed. He was looking pretty beaten up and Casey just put a hand on his shoulder.

"It's alright. Knowing Raph, he won't give up on this moment and the same goes for Leo" Casey reassured. He glanced up and smiled at Don. "Any news?"

Don half smiled. "Well Leo believes that Raph was leaning down because he was slipping and thought that he was taking advantage of Raphael. But I overheard him one of the restrooms admitting his love for Raph" he finished.

April squealed and clapped her hands excitedly. Mikey beamed and Casey snapped his fingers.

"Raph must have felt the same! That he was taking advantage! You saw his face! That has to be it!" Casey concluded. Don nodded.

"I agree. Knowing both of them, it will be awkward at first so give them time and then we can interfere again" he smirked as the others started to protest. "But they will want to talk"

The rest nodded.

"I'm gonna go get Leo kay? See ya!" April waved goodbye and walked off. Don waved and looked at Casey and Mikey.

"I might look for Raph." Mikey said thoughtfully. "Anyone wanna come?" he said cheerfully. Casey looked at a group of hockey mates.

"I'm gonna skip this time. Don will go with ya though" Casey said but there was something in his eye that made Mikey blush but left Donnie in utter confusion. He waved goodbye and headed towards his friends leaving Mikey and Don.

Mikey just shook his head. "So you in Don?" he asked somewhat shy. Don nodded and they headed off to look for Raph.

After ten minutes Mikey tapped Dons shoulder and pointed at a figure hiding in the shadows. Don smiled and they headed over. They found Raph in a sitting position leaning against a wall with his head resting on his arms. His eyes were glazing with self-anger and longing.

"Raph?" Mikey asked in concern. Raph turned his head towards him and gave him a small smile. He got up stiffly and walked over.

"Hey Mikey. You ok?" he rasped but he still looked upset. Don narrowed his eyes. His and Casey's suspicions were true. Raph was blaming himself.

Mikey smiled. "I'm good. What about you? We saw you with Leo earlier and then we found you like this. Anything up?" Mikey said. Don just shook his head at Mikey's false innocence.

Raph flinched slightly at Leo's name. "Nothing happened. Where are the others?" he asked changing the subject. Don just sighed and indicated for Raph to follow. Mikey smiled and tried to make his brother smile as he told him about tomorrows breakfast that he was gonna make. Raphael chuckled and listened but only partly.

Don saw Leo, April and Casey at a small booth chuckling and talking. He walked over and slid in next to Casey. Leo and Raph averted each other's gaze and Raph sat next to Don.

Leo saw Raph staring at Don and felt a small twinge of jealously. Raph obviously preferred Donnie. They had so much in common and Don was so very honest and kind. Leo looked away.

April then whispered something into Leo's ear and he nodded before getting up with April. Mikey and Don exchanged a confused look while Casey tried to hold in his laughter. He pointed at Raph then at the 2 indicating to go with them. Raph nodded and ran after them.

"so what are you two doing?" he growled. April giggled while Leo's face went red and he looked away before answering.

"Did Casey send you?" Leo asked. He sighed when Raph nodded.

"You promised to help me spike Don's drink and April promised with Mikey's so yeah." Leo shrugged sharing an amused glance with April. "You don't have to though" he added glancing up quickly before looking away as their eyes met. It was awkward.

"I'll come. This I gotta see" Raph smiled and Leo smiled at them both but mainly at April. Raph just longed to grab Leos face and kiss him but his earlier encounter made him feel nervous and clumsy.

Leo ordered to cokes and Raph got the alcohol while April flirted with the bar man so he wouldn't see Leo and Raph spiking drinks. They did it fast without even glancing at each other.

They finished their job and took them back to the booth along with 5 other cokes. Leo smiled brightly as he handed Dons and Mikey's out. April quickly gave her other one to Casey so Raph passed one to Leo, blushing.

Leo shyly flashed him a message.

Thanks, for the drink

No problem bro

They waited for Don and Mikey to drink theirs before they started. Mikey was the first to suspect something. "This is strange coke guys" he said while Don gulped it down. The alcohol hit him hard.

"Can I have another?" he asked innocently. Leo smiled and nodded before getting another spiked drink. Raph stared after him and this time everyone saw the longing and fierce protection and love gleaming in Raph's eyes. April just sighed happily. This is like the perfect love story! I am so writing about this! Well, I need to make some changes like that they can't be mutant turtles, or live in sewers or are brothers…

"April? You ok?" April lifted her head to find Mikey whispering at her.

"I'm fine!" she said.

"Did Leo spike me and Don's drink?" He asked. April stared in utter shock. Mikey laughed softly and shook his head.

"Ninja" he teased and April just rolled her eyes.

Leo was trying this time to be careful. The guy who had come up to him before had asked him to go have some drugs and see what magic sparked between them which caused Leo to panic and feel pressured as the man kept going.

Thanks to Raph he was safe. He glanced at his brother to find him staring at him. He turned away and shook his head.

He doesn't feel the same Leo. Maybe that's a good thing. Maybe not… Leo shook his thoughts away and asked for the drink.

He brought it back and placed it in front of Don with a smile. "There" he said.

Don smiled and gulped it down sighing. Leo felt a tap on his shoulder and turned to see Ryan.

"Hey!" He said with a smile. Ryan returned it and fist pumped Casey while shaking hands with April.

"You must Leo's brothers. I'm Ryan" he said sweetly offering his hand to Mikey who shook it normally, Don who shook it strongly making Ryan laugh and Raph who just nodded and ignored the hand. He felt jealous of this kid who made Leo smile. Ryan just returned the nod while Leo frowned at his brothers rudeness.

"I just wanted to say goodbye! Hope all is well!" Ryan smiled. " It was nice meeting you and your brothers Leo and thanks for the invite Casey! Gotta go! Bye!" and with that he walked away before a girl came up and dragged him off. Leo stared after him smiling. Raph growled loosely which made everyone stare. He coughed to cover it up.

But Don soon gathered everyone's attention.

"Can I have another?"

10 minutes later

"I'm on top of the wo~rld Hey!" Don sang/yelled as Mikey and Leo had an arm under his brother helping him through the sewers to get home.

"How many drinks did he have Leo?" Mikey asked cringing at Don's off key singing. They had left the party just when Don started to go… crazy. Leo looked at his brother in worry.

"I stopped giving him the drinks after 3. He must have kept sneaking off to grab some." Leo sighed shaking his head before continuing their journey home. Casey had come part way with them until Donnie had punched him in the eye and lectured him about not liking spotted owls.

Raph ran ahead and opened the entrance to the lair. Leo and Mikey followed in more slowly, heaving under the weight of their drunken brother. The red banded ninja went into the kitchen leaving the others to think of where to put Don.

"Couch, Lab or bedroom?" Mikey panted. He never realised how heavy Donatello could be. He watched as Leo considered the options available.

"Hmm… well, if we put him in the lab, who knows what will happen with all that equipment and liquids he has in there and the bedroom is pretty much the same" Leo said slowly "so I guess the couch is the safest option, but someone needs to stay with him"

Raph came in with at least 7 bottles of water. "This should last him the night. He needs to keep drinking water. It will help." He said as he placed them on the table in front of the couch where Mikey and Leo laid Don.

"IT'S A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALLL!" Don suddenly belted and everyone placed hands over their ears.

"I better stay with him. It's my fault that he's like this anyway" Leo said before placing a blanket over his brother and tucking him in. He then glanced at Mikey. "Can you grab me a cool face washer and a cold bucket of water? Thanks." He asked.

Mikey flashed him 2 thumbs up before running to the bathroom. Raph looked at Leo in surprise. "When did you learn how to treat a drunk?" he said, looking at Dons clouded dreamy expression then Leo's caring face as he watched his brother.

Leo chuckled in amusement, though it was mostly dry. "I had to treat you twice before, remember?" Leo said while making sure the pillows behind Don's head were comfortable.

Before Raph could respond, Don suddenly grabbed Leo's hand and smiled.

"You have a REALLY nice smile" he said. A tower of jealousy was growing in Raph and he growled as he walked away. Leo smiled and shook his head.

"Thanks Don. You've got a nice smile yourself" Leo said with amusement. But Donnie's response through them completely off guard.

"But Mikey's is better. His eyes are like diamonds- no, SAPPHIRES! I like sapphires, do you?" He asked brightly. Leo smiled brightly and chuckled.

"What's going on?" Leo turned and saw Mikey holding a bucket of water and three towels. He nodded his thanks before wetting one of the towels before placing it on Don's forehead.

"Nothing. Don's just funny drunk." Leo said his eyes crinkling into a smile. It was the kind of smile that really lightened the mood in the room and made everyone else smile.

Mikey nodded and yawned. "Do you mind staying with him tonight Leo? You can wake us up so we can take turns" he offered. Leo shook his head.

"It's alright. Go to bed. Sleep well okay?" Mikey nodded and headed up stairs to his room. Leo then remembered something and called his name.

"Yeah?" Mikey asked.

"I know about how you feel towards Don" Leo said smiling. Mikey nearly panicked but when he saw that the smile that was offered was warm and full of friendliness. "Don't worry, I wont go against you and I'll help in any way I can" Leo said quickly.

Mikey blushed and nodded before closing his bedroom door. Leo sighed and glanced at Don who had fallen asleep. He chuckled.

"Oh Donnie… I cant wait for the day when you realise Michelangelo is the one for you." He whispered as he stood up and stretched. It took him a moment to realise that Raph wasn't there.

Must be in his room Leo thought as he sat on the armchair next to couch. He was exhausted but he knew that he had brought this upon himself.

He heard a small cough and looked up in surprise to find Raphael holding a bundle of items in his arms. Raph stumbled over and Leo could see the items clearly- 2 warm blankets, a pillow, a dvd player, a pair of earplugs and one of Leo's favourite books.

Leo smiled as he took the bundle from Raph. Raph only gave him the blanket and pillow first and when Leo had sorted them out he handed him the rest.

"Thanks Raph" Leo mumbled still slightly embarrassed from earlier. Raph nodded and walked away. Leo sighed and looked at the 2 movies that Raph had brought. Aladdin and the hunger games. He chuckled as he put in the Disney movie and rested back.

He jumped when he felt a small tap and turned to see his brother yet again. This time holding a cup of tea. Leo smiled and blushed.

Thank you dear brother Leo nodded

You need help if ya gonna be lookin after a drunk turtle Raph narrowed his eyes though there was some humour

Very funny. Now go to sleep. Leo jerked his head towards Raph's door. Raph rolled his eyes.

Ya never give up ya day job hey?

Nope. Now go.

Raph walked away with a hint of pink on his cheeks and Leo's face was full on red. He played the movie but all he could think about how he had nearly kissed his brother.

Raph couldn't sleep. All he was thinking about was taking advantage of Leo like that. That was some shit move. Raph sighed as he remembered holding Leo as they danced.

What I wouldn't give to do it again…
